Ocean View House Cape Town

Ocean View Guest House was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are stylish, spotless, and very comfortable, and the view over the ocean is simply breathtaking. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always helpful, which makes the stay feel very special. Breakfast was delicious and the location is perfect – quiet, yet close to the beach and restaurants. Highly recommended. I would definitely stay here again!

We spent 6 nights at Ocean View House in September 2025. The hotel was fantastic. First of all, the staff were friendly, kind and helpful. The gardens and views from the hotel were amazing. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with many healthy choices. The hotel is an easy walk to Camps Bay and Uber taxi's are readily available. The hotel is highly recommended.

Visited on our honeymoon early December for 4 nights |Did not want to leave! Hotel was amazing - we’ve both said it was our favourite hotel we have stayed in. The views were incredible.|Supreme assisted us throughout our stay and was super helpful. All the other staff are extremely polite and helpful. The hotel is super clean and well maintained.||We walked to Camps Bay front which takes 10 minutes multiple times it is beautiful for dinner and drinks. We also got taxis to V&A waterfront and Kloof Street which were also beautiful. ||Breakfast was a wide variety and great quality.||Thank you for making our honeymoon stay so memorable.

Had a great two-night stay at OVH! Awesome views, very nice bathroom appliances like Duravit and Hansgrohe. Amazing service by the whole team (especially Israel who is a top guy!). Will come again once we’re back in CPT :)

Their motto is Oasis by the Sea, which is very very true. We couldn't fault anything during our 4 day stay - best during our SA trip. It's location is ideal, close to Camps Bay but far enough away to chill and relax.|The property is extremely clean and well presented, the decor is very tasteful. The rooms are wonderful - spacious, clean, very comfortable beds and well kitted out.||The food was excellent, well presented, tasty and a delicious range of options. The staff were very helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble 😊.||The only problem we had, was leaving - will definitely be back.

Visually striking hotel and stunning view of mountains. Staff were excellent and breakfast was superb. Room was smaller than others on our trip and we felt the bathroom was basic - not a power shower or rain shower. Air con was noisy and also building works outside room which were not told about. About a 10 min walk to central camps bay which was safe. Overall great stay.

We arrived at the property very early and the staff did everything they could to get us into our room as soon as possible. Israel, was beyond helpful and invited us to join the breakfast buffet. The staff here are so kind and considerate. I would recommend Ocean View 100%. We are returning for a 1 night stay before we fly home and I’m already excited to see the property and staff again!

Absolutely stunning location, a true oasis by the sea. We stayed in Panoramic apartments and beds were so comfortable. We were a family of 3 and the sofa bed for child was made with an excellent quality mattress. The view out of this world. Friendly staff, superb breakfast.
