My partner and I decided to stop in and give this place a try—and we left more than impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, and you could really taste the quality in every bite. My partner’s favorite was the dim sum (dumplings), while I couldn’t get enough of the Pad Thai and the spider roll sushi—they were both packed with flavor. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and welcoming, which made our dining experience even better. Our server was friendly, attentive, and had a great sense of humor, which we really appreciated. Even the bathrooms were spotless, which is always a plus in our book. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The seaweed salad was great—super crunchy, probably the best I’ve had. The yellowtail was just alright, nothing too special. We also got the duck red curry with rice, but I wasn’t a fan at all. The atmosphere was decent, and the service was fine, but nothing stood out.

Google
This was a great spot for sushi and Asian cuisine on a Sunday afternoon! It was my first time there but my friends go often and I was happy to accompany them. The service was fast and the food was delicious. Can't wait to go back again!

I did a pick up for one roll and pat Thai, They changed me 5 dollars for the sauces, We are talking about 1 spicy mayonnaise and teriyaki, the excuse was that he gave me a giant box for the teriyaki Stay away from that place.

I came in alone and sat at the bar, where I was initially greeted by an employee. Shortly afterward, I was handed menus in a noticeably aggressive manner, which I chose to overlook. I asked a simple question about deep-fried sushi, and the bartender appeared visibly irritated, though I was unsure why. He then served me a glass of water, placing it on the table with unnecessary force again, I ignored it. When it came time to pay, he handed me the payment device with $5 already added to my total. I corrected the amount and selected $0 for the tip, as I did not feel the service warranted one. As I got up to leave, he called out, “Aren’t you forgetting something?” When I asked what he meant, he replied, “You need to pay for your service.” I calmly informed him that I had just paid. He then loudly exclaimed, “No tip!? I don’t work for free GIVE ME A TIP!” His yelling was uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. He continued with more disrespectful and inappropriate remarks before finally telling me to “get out.” I was stunned and deeply uncomfortable throughout this encounter. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from someone representing your establishment behind the bar. I hope you take this matter seriously and address it accordingly.

Google
It was great! But I love pad thai, I eat it in every thai place I go all over the country and this one wasn't made with peanut sauce but with sweet and sour sauce, it was different. But overall ok. Sushi was really good.

Google
Lobster sushi roll was a hit! I wasn’t expecting so much meat on top but it was fresh and a compliment to sushi! We got the spicy tuna roll and volcano roll as well. The margaritas were made from mix but were strong and tasted exactly how you’d expect. I’m really glad to have found a new sushi restaurant with a nice balance of classic and creative rolls. The ingredients were fresh and I was impressed with each roll. Service was great and we didn’t need a reservation despite it being 7:00pm on a Thursday.

Google
Love this local sushi joint! Food is consistently good and the service is great. The staff are always very friendly, and if you sit at the bar more than a couple of times there's a good chance he'll know what you want!

Yelp
Located in Va Highlands I was headed the Murphys (no parking) when I saw Surin Thai. It's been years since I have been to Surin so I turned around once I saw there was no parking at Murphy's. I found street parking (pay by the hour) near Surin and happened to be right in front of Ocean Wave. Before walking to Surin I was checking out yelp reviews it sounds as though they are not as good as years past. I settled on Ocean Wave after viewing yelp and I'm glad I did. Menu Prices $$ Great lunch menu with Sushi and Thai for $12-$20. Hamachi is my favorite so I had to have an order. It was so delicious! From the Thai Lunch menu I ordered the sushi grade Salmon Red Curry. The lunch comes with a yummy coconut soup

Yelp
Tasty food options available at this VA Highlands sushi and Thai restaurant. Renovations occurred recently per my companion and added to an inviting dining experience. Dining tables in booths located in a section a few steps above the main floor, which had tables to accommodate larger parties. Booths were spacious and comfortable. Received prompt service and ordered from both the sushi options and the Thai selections. The tropical maki roll was recommended by our server and truly delightful. The accompanying pineapple sauce enhanced the freshness of the salmon and tuna. The roll was completed by a well marinated seaweed salad. My companion enjoyed the roasted duck with red curry. Its spice was infused with not being overly spicy. There were ample vegetables included with meal. The selection of alcoholic beverages was vast. Cocktail and sake options were plentiful. The Japanese old fashioned was tasty and welcomed on a cool winter evening. Would return to taste other selections.

Yelp
We LOVE this place. It has the Surin menu too so you can get sushi and/or Thai food! Surin is my favorite Thai restaurant and Ocean Wave has killer sushi. So here are the must trys in my opinion - sushi: wasabi roll, lobster roll. Those two rolls are AMAZING! The lobster one isn't cheap but I'm telling you, it's worth it! They pile on the lobster! Now, from the Thai menu - the coconut soup is soooo yummy, the pad see u is good, veggie delight has a light sweet brown sauce, and their curries are really good cause they are a thick consistency (I don't like runny curries so theirs it perfect to me). OH and the Surin baskets are really tasty, try those!

Yelp
Came backs to my fav Atl. eatery, after 5 yrs; Fo lunch no less :/ Their 2 fo $15 sushi roll deal still Rox! With comp.'d soup o course. Inside vibe still mellow, chill, & relaxing. It truly impossible to go wrong with anything off their menus. I hold all other Penangs and Masaman's up to the H&S Standard. Dead Serious. Their varying numerous sushi rolls come in WAY above avg as well. Of course kick it off with one of their crafts (Hi-wire) or Thai Iced Tea. Their bar bottle selection/ options look to have doubled since last time visiting. (c pic) Welcomed immediately and seated by their mgr. Waitresses, Ann, also super nice sweet and helpful.

Yelp
Unassumingly delicious! Seriously! We showed up because of the ratings and stepped in unsure of what to expect. Service was on point and the food was SO good! We'll thought out flavors that were tremendous! 5 stars

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. The sushi is VERY good. Not just good. Very fresh. The yellowtail collar was the biggest I've ever had. And the most delicious. Highly recommend this place. And Thai food is equally as great.

Yelp
Just. Go. Seriously. Service is great. Food is great. Ask for chefs choice. You shan't be disappointed!

Yelp
Ordered take out through DoorDash. App said it would take 45 mins to make it but it really took 20 mins. Even though we arrived 25 minutes after it was made, it was still fresh and super delicious! We had two items: Pad Thai (w/beef) and the Ocean roll. Both were really good. The seared tuna was perfect and they put a lot of sesame seeds on the roll! My fiancé enjoyed the Pad Thai, great portion and easy to eat out of take out box. I am definitely coming back here, for either take out or dining in.

Yelp
My new favorite sushi spot! Absolutely loved this place. The service and food were both fantastic. Our server was entertaining and personable, same with the rest of the staff. Although the restaurant is on the smaller side, it was very cozy and clean inside. The menu had so much to choose from and I was very happy with their roll options. We also got chicken satay as an appetizer and it was delicious.

Yelp
Ocean Wave is located in a cute, quaint location in Virginia Highlands. Their main focus is on Thai and Japanese cuisine, and it is fabulous! In addition to the entrees, the sushi and full martini menu make this restaurant a standout. We tried the Spicy Beef Noodles, Spicy Tuna Roll, Rainbow Roll, Bagel Roll, and a couple of martinis that were so delicious that we couldn't even get a picture first! If you're interested in trying one for yourself, our favorites were the Lychee & Peach Martinis. Follow my food page @404foodtour on Instagram for more Atlanta & Orlando recommendations!

Yelp
Food was good here and service was friendly and quick! This place has sushi and Thai food. My friends wanted to get cocktails, but we weren't sure how much they cost. I had the basil rolls, chicken satay, and the California rolls. Food came out within 10 minutes of ordering on a Friday night! It tasted pretty fresh, too. My friends had a couple other sushi rolls and they really liked them. It was really easy to find a seat. There's a big area in the back of the restaurant and we were seated right after arriving and didn't have to wait. The food wasn't anything amazing (I reserve five stars for those places!) but I wasn't disappointed at all. I'd recommend going if you have a craving for sushi or Thai and want somewhere you'll be seated quickly.
google avatar

Benjamin S.

Yelp
Best sushi for the price. Also, the cocktail menu is one of the most extensive I've ever seen outside of a cocktail bar. And I'm a big fan of the booth seating.

Yelp
Very good sushi. Lovely little spot. This is a pic of the love boat. Miso and coconut soups were amazing as well

Yelp
My fist time at Ocean Wave was about a month ago. The ambiance was decent and the waitress was really nice. I can't remember the name of the sushi we had but they were so big. However, they tasted good. It makes more sense to give more bite/regular sized sushi than huge ones that won't fit in a person's mouth. The egg rolls were good too. Today, I ordered the spicy shrimp roll, shrimp fried rice, and coconut soup to go. No chopsticks or soy sauce in the bag. The sushi was huge, just like I remember it but good. The coconut soup was my favorite.
google avatar

Danielle O.

Yelp
Quaint. Tasty food. Nice presentation & simple. Fast service with temperature of food hot. I had the masaman curry and we shared a couple of sushi rolls. I wish my dish had potatoes & carrots in it, some Thai places do that. Complementary coconut soup. A friend & I met for lunch. Limited hours until around 2-2:30 before they close for cleanup & dinner hours.

Yelp
My go-to sushi place! Went in on a Sunday night and got seated right away, we ordered two rolls (salmon avocado and spicy hamachi) salmon and tuna nigiri, sake and a lychee martini. Drinks are always good, the salmon nigiri is out of this world!! So fresh, buttery, and flavorful it literally melts in your mouth. Our server Tristan is such a character, it's always a fun experience.

Yelp
The sushi here is so delicious. I am always amazing by how flavorful and fresh it consistently is every time. This is my absolute favorite place to get sushi.

Yelp
I remember this being Surin of Thailand yet with a new brand & renovation, Ocean Wave is here. Great Sushi selections, doable prices, Sushi Bar, tables/booths & a full bar, no patio. My Bonus Daughter & I came here after a Spa Day & it was the perfect addition & ending to a relaxing day. FRANCES, you Gem you, thank you for such welcoming & friendly service! Amongst sharing a bottle of Upper Cut Cabernet, I got the Spring Rolls, Ginger Salad, Inari & Veggie Tempura Maki Rolls & ate every last morsel. My BD got the Maki Mono Spicy Shrimp Tempura that came out in six thick slices that she delighted in as well. In addition to Sushi, they offer a few special entrees - Thai BBQ Chicken, Lamb & Duck options, with a large assortment of Desserts - Brownie Crumble Sundae & Peanut Butter Pie to name a few. Frances' panache spirit & engagement made our lunch experience a fun one & we are planning to return with more family members. Please add Vegan Dim Sum & or Potstickers to the menu!

Yelp
I checked out ocean wave this weekend and I left in awe by the quality of their food. I ordered the spicy thick noodles with chicken and it hit the spot like nothing else. Perfect ratio of savory and spice and the portion size was very satisfying- all while costing less than $15. Srithai has been my favorite Thai restaurant in ATL for a long time, but I think I have a new favorite. The vibes here are really cool too. The first room when you walk in has a bunch of cool lights and booths. The back room where we sat could use a little more decorating. The service was super fast and our waiter was very friendly and attentive.
google avatar

Liz N.

Yelp
Literally one of my favorite places IN ATL! The Coconut Soup (Tom Kha) is EVERYTHING!! I also get the Inari roll with the seaweed salad. The perfect combo. If you're a gin fav, the Night in Bangkok is a delicious martini. AND the primary server guy runs the show and doesn't miss a beat. You could easily forget its only him in the shop.

Yelp
Came in on a Sunday night. Sat immediately and got order taken quickly. 2 of 3 appetizers came as well as our one drink order and then our server proceeded to ignore and not communicate for the next 30 minutes I then asked for the bill for what I had eaten Server put the 3rd appetizer on our bill and I had to tell her we never even received it The lack of communication over a half hour span is what is causing me to write this review
google avatar

Fanila A.

Yelp
The food was great, I would of given it 5 stars but the service sucked. My friend and I waited 20 mins by the hostess booth for someone to even look our way to be seated. Not a hello or any sort of eye contact to let us know they'll be right with us. We also waited a long time for our food. I ordered Basil rolls with shrimp without pork (be aware they roll pork belly inside the roll), spicy coconut soup (which wasn't spicy at all but it was great), and the submarine roll which did not disappoint. I recommend and I would go back just need to have tons of patience.

Yelp
Kudos to Ocean Wave for providing an excellent dining experience! I've dined at a few places post COVID and have mixed feelings. Some of my experiences dining at other restaurants have been a bit awkward, so I mostly order take out. I may be weird, but dining alone at a restaurant bar is one of my favorite pastimes, so I decided to do just that when I got off early from work. I've had this place bookmarked for a while and was in the area running errands. Parking is scarce in Virginia Highlands, but street parking was available. I already have ParkMobile downloaded, so paying was a breeze. The total came to $2.30 for an hour. The restaurant is very intimate, but designed beautifully. I sat at the bar and was greeted immediately. They were out of an ingredient for a cocktail that I wanted and I ended up getting a lychee martini. I'm so glad I did! It was strong and delicious. The cheese rolls were pretty good. They're a version of wontons, but made like spring rolls. The Ka proud lamb was amazing! The lamb chops were very tender and the rice was delicious. The customer service was excellent and I felt very comfortable dining in their restaurant. They have a pretty extensive menu of Thai food and sushi rolls. I'm a huge fan of both, so I'll definitely be returning.

Yelp
I was skeptical about all of the Japanese and Thai fusion places I keep seeing all over Atlanta, but I decided to try one and I was pleasantly surprised by Ocean Wave by Harry and Sons! I decided to try the sushi even though I figured it would be subpar compared to the thai food because let's be real... sushi at a non-sushi place is usually questionable. I was really craving sushi though and the rolls were pretty decent! The portions were appropriate, I was satisfied, and the fish was fresh. I wouldn't say this is the best sushi I've ever had, but I haven't had a lot of great sushi places in Atlanta yet so I'd say this is the best so far. I think the biggest downside was that the food took quite a while to come and it also took some effort to flag down the waitress to give us our checks. Overall the whole experience took a little longer than I had expected, plus the parking was a challenge and we needed to walk quite a few blocks to get here.

Natalie N.

Yelp
my friend and I ran across this place on our way to a bar nearby. we ordered the miso soup, egg rolls, salad, edamame, california roll, and a veggie roll. have to say that it was very plain. (all of that) i did ask for the california roll to be spicy and from that literally just had sriracha on top another thing to note when I asked for spicy mayo (which I was expecting to be on top) I was charged $1.00. would not recommend & wouldn't go back.

Howard B.

Yelp
Wow, what a nice surprise. Visiting my son from out of town and walked in on a Tuesday night. Got a table right away and were immediately blown away by the drink menu. Generous pour on innovative cocktails. We all had sushi and shared some ?basil rolls. Server was great, the food was outstanding and the price point was reasonable. .especially for that section of town. We can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Down in the middle of the Virginia Highlands, Ocean Wave has got to be one of THE sushi destinations in all of Atlanta. From the moment you enter the building, twinkle lights greet you and the sound of drinks being shaken behind the bar. They have top-shelf cocktails, delicious sushi, tons of fried rice and entrees, as well as a good selection of appetizers, so let's dive into some of those Yummi dishes and cocktails. Full steam food adventure ahead! We're not monkeying around about the superior cocktails at Ocean Wave! We sipped and loved the Monkey Business Martini that combined vodka, coconut rum, pineapple and cranberry. We declared it's a tiki party in your mouth, boozy up front, then smoothing out into a frothy, sweet tiki drink on the backend. It was a great balance of flavors that's easy to drink any time of year, but we can imagine sitting on the beach under the shadow of an umbrella, drink in hand. A light breeze through our hair, can you feel it? We will get to the sushi in a moment, but we sampled a few other good dishes that included the Satay Chicken, KA Proud Lamb, and something we've NEVER tried before, Spicy Spaghetti. First, the Satay Chicken was very tender, and the peanut sauce and cucumber salad were a great pairing, especially the salad. It was sweet and went well with the savory of the chicken. A good bite! From there we tried the Spicy Spaghetti, which mimics a traditional spaghetti with a Thai flare. We've never had anything like it! Spicy, savory, and deep from the spice of the Thai chili sauce, tender chicken, and super juicy tomatoes. Maybe more of spaghetti on steroids? Yeah, that sounds about right. Super good! The best of the entrees was the Ka Proud Lamb. The sauce was DELECTIBLE with a slight spice up front and rich deep flavor on the back that went perfect with the mushrooms and vegetables in the sauce. The lamb was tender and smoky with a delicate char. The fried rice was perfect with the sauce and lamb. What a great bite when all combined! Plus, we had a little fun with our food. We put the sauce from the lamb on the Spicy Spaghetti. Pretty tasty, we must say. We tried two different rolls, the Dancing Dragon and the Yummi Yummi. Dancing Dragon was a good balance of sweet and spicy with tempura on the inside and eel and avocado on the outside. The variation between the eel, which was sweet, and the creamy avocado, were a great one-two punch of flavor. Add wasabi and soy sauce, it brings out the flavor of both! Even though this roll was super good, nothing could compare to the Yummi Yummi. A Trio of fresh yellow tail, tuna, salmon stuffed with cream cheese and flash fried in a moat of delicious soy-based sauce. From the creaminess of the cream cheese mixed with the salty and freshness of the fish to the crunch of the fried rice, it was one dynamic bite. What made it even better? Wababi and soy sauce. Mouth dropped to the floor, was that really possible? WOW! Yummi is definitely one way to describe it. Mind blowing is another. A special shout-out to our waitress who was a gracious hand-model, menu master, and willing food carrier to better light. She was top-notch! That's the kind of service you'll get at Ocean Wave. As you leave, the twinkling of the lights follows you down the street and you'll dream about sushi for a few nights after.

Deb E.

Yelp
Fabulous! Came here on a recommendation. Booths are private & comfortable. Wine was quite good & chilled perfectly. Had the Dim Sum & Chicken Satay appetizers...very good. The Lobster Maki roll was to die for! Service was excellent, attentive & friendly. *Would've given this a 5-star rating, except for CNN playing on the TV w/ subtitles. Prefer not to watch biased political opinions while dining out.

Karla S.

Yelp
the food was delicious- we carried out so i can't speak to the other things. staff was friendly and seemed nice when i went in to collect the food
google avatar

Maya G.

Yelp
Really nice atmosphere, meh food. We ordered the Combo Fried Rice (chicken, beef, shrimp, and pork) which was yummy but the beef was super chewy. Also got the Combo 1 sushi (Tokyo and Super Crunch rolls) and it wasn't great. Hostess and waitesses couldn't even pretend to be nice. We were constantly thanking them and they would walk away without saying anything.

Yelp
When I get a craving for the Ocean Maki (formerly Harry Maki when it was still Harry and Sons), I HAVE to have it! I've been coming to this place for years and years and I've always had great service and have never once been disappointed by the food.

Yelp
We just had a phenomenal lunch experience at Ocean Wave. We were in the area after visiting Atlanta Botanical Gardens, and decided to visit here with all of the great reviews. You have to pay $3 to park in the parking lot right across the street, and then jus to cross the street. COVID-19 wise, this restaurant has a lot of great precautions. All employees wore masks, tables are spread out, and masks are required for customers until seated at your table. Our server, Mamiew, was very kind. He was super speedy, and the overall wait times and service were quick. He was very attentive, and was very good about giving lots of drink refills. The food was to die for. For our appetizer, we had the Egg Rolls. It came with three egg rolls. They were very good for the three of us to share. They were very tasty, and so was the sauce that came with it. All lunch specials came with a complimentary Miso Soup or Coconut Soup. I had the Miso Soup. It was very good and had tofu in it. I added a lot of soy sauce to add flavor, as it was kind of bland before hand. For my main meal, I had the Chicken Noodle Thai Bowl from the lunch specials, and some sushi. I was not a very big fan of the Chicken Noodle Bowl. The sauce in it was very weird, and I was not a fan. This was my first experience with Thai food, so it's kind of my fault because I didn't know exactly what it was. The sushi was the best part out of anything. The Super Crunch Roll was definitely the best sushi I've ever had. The smoked salmon on it was so good, and it was heavenly. I recommend ordering as many of these as possible. The Shrimp Tempura Roll was phenomenal as well, but the Spicy Crunch Roll was better. The Californi Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll were good, but nothing compared to the other two. I look forward to coming back here multiple times in the future, and it's definitely my new favorite sushi place!

Daze M.

Yelp
Now it's hard to buy sushi online, you never know if the restaurant is catfishing with photos. But let me tell you, Ocean Wave was some of the best sushi I've had in years. My favorites were the crunchy roll and the shrimp tempura. I wish i got sauce to go but no worries as I had their perfect crab rangoon rolls. Amazing to eat with the sushi. Everything was so delicious, can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I have been a loyal customer since they were "Harry and Son" and will continue to be as long as the food remains delicious and the service remains on point.

Yelp
Best sushi in vahi, can't believe I hadn't heard of this place sooner. Everything hit. The bagel roll was truly PHENOMENAL. Literally mouth is watering thinking about it. The cream cheese rolls are genuinely the best cream cheese app I've ever had!!! Wow

Yelp
Truly amazing sushi and delicious Thai dishes! I loved my tofu spicy coconut soup and my friend's hot and sour soup was delicious! We ordered the $65 love boat to share and it was more than enough for 4 of us. Two friends ordered Thai dishes that were so rich and flavorful. That was some of the best Thai food I've had in the Atlanta area. I tried their lychee martini - loved it! It's on the stronger side so I was definitely feeling a little tipsy. Not giving 5 stars because the service was a little slow. There were only 2 waitresses for the entire dining room and the place was pretty busy. We had to wait a while to place our orders and to get our drinks. I 100% recommend this place and I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the mood for sushi!

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants on the planet is Surin West in Birmingham Alabama. I have vivid memories of eating there many times, but the first time I ate there was with a dear friend who is now deceased. He introduced me to their delicious Spicy Coconut Soup, Crab Angels, and Super Crunch Roll. When I moved to Atlanta, I was so excited to know there was a Surin on North Highland, but was then super disappointed when I realized they didn't serve sushi. Well, imagine my excitement yesterday when I found the restaurant Ocean Wave. Ocean Wave has the same owners of Surin, with the same menu, is practically right next door to Surin; except THEY SERVE SUSHI!! I was even more excited when I realized they serve the Super Crunch Roll!!!! We went there last night for my birthday and I had the Spicy Coconut Soup and a Super Crunch Roll and they were so very delicious and exactly how I remembered them from Birmingham. The service was excellent! We will definitely be going back!

Yelp
When our reservations were cancelled last minute we were able to walk down the street to this cozy niche in the wall. Great food and service. I love the menu and how did riptide it is especially when ordering sushi

Yelp
The food was lovely. Came here with my Boss and co worker to celebrate our yearly bonus and all the hard work we do :) The are located on a busy street so be aware of that when you are coming. There is a convenient $3 self parking across the street which is great. The staff: was great. They suggested menu options and the menu was awesome. The only downfall about the menu is that there were soooo many options but they were all great My food was awesome. Coming back in the country I needed something to calm me down so I got the fried rice with shrimp. Will definitely be going back to this spot with Family and friends

Yelp
After a recent re-brand, Ocean Wave by Harry and Sons feels pretty similar to the way it did before. Their sushi is fresh and their menu is pretty large. I like the chicken larb as an appetizer. It's ground chicken, ginger and garlic and some other spices with cabbage to be eaten as a lil wrap situation. The coconut soup is also a great way to start. We ordered the tuna tatami and it was very thick-cut. I When I last visited, they weren't serving any desserts, which is a shame because their cream brûlée is A M A Z I N G. It's still on the menu, so I hope it was just a temporary snag. The staff said they make all the desserts in their own kitchen!

Yelp
Have you ever just craved a massive amount of sushi that gets served to you on a boat? No? Just me? Well - you will after this review. Ocean wave offers such phenomenal sushi - its crazy that not many people know about this restaurant. If you get their early enough (around 5-5:30 p.m.) the parking situation is not bad at all - you can park behind the restaurant and walk up to the main diner. It's a quiet restaurant with a full-sized bar and sushi making station (the official name of this escapes me). They have roughly 4-5 decent sized booths that can sit 4 people (up to six if you really squeeze in) and one coveted window booth spot. Now, let's talk food. This is a THAI/SUSHI fusion restaurant that does not disappoint. The sushi is pretty dang good. They offer two different types of sushi boats - one that is $55 and the other that is $65. Before you gasp in horror at the price - let me just say - it is a lot of food. My husband is a black hole - and will literally devour his entire meal and then tell me he is still hungry. But after this sushi boat he was stuffed! We also ordered an appetizer (gyoza in a peanut thai sauce (super good) and the sushi boats came with your choice of miso, egg drop, or hot and sour soup. Please refer to the photos below - and enjoy!

Yelp
Located in Virginia Highland, you will need to find street parking. We took a Lyft. They don't take reservations for under 5 persons, but we were seated without a problem on a Friday night. It was crowded but not full. Nice decor, homey looking and comfortable. The menu is rather large with 3 or 4 pages of choices. We both ordered a beer and shared an egg roll appetizer. I ordered green curry. My partner ordered the Roasted Duck. The egg roll was OK, I would not order it again though. The green curry was great, perfect spice and nice veggies. The Roasted Duck was excellent according to my partner. Service was spotty at best, I had to flag down the server several times. Loads of waiters not sure what the problem was. Overall nice decor, great entrees, we will return.

Yelp
I finally (so far!) found the best Panaang Curry in Atlanta! Sat at the bar. Service was prompt. Nice and hot food was delivered within 10 minutes of me ordering. Extra spicyextra Thai basil just like I ordered. I will definitely be back soon. Just a note...everyone around me at the bar is eating sushi. Looks amazing. Very small place....maybe 12 tables with counter space and bar seats. Cheers to finding and supporting great local Thai restaurants in our great city.

Yelp
This review is super late! I've been coming here for months! This is easily my favorite thai spot in the city! I love the spicy coconut soup with shrimp ($10) it's sooo flavorful, decadent and they give you a big portion. Probably the best thai coconut soup I've ever had! The chicken pad thai is delicious ($14) and if you leave this place hungry or broke it's all your fault! This place is small so it gets packed fast! They don't take reservations and parking is limited! I bring friends here often, and it's definitely a hidden gem!

Yelp
Never thought I'd see a 1/4 of a tomato in fried rice that cost $17 but here we are. Not to mention cabbage, green beans, baby corn, and who knows what else because I havent finished it. Underwhelmingly seasoned as well. The super crunch roll was rather tasty, but that's about as far as it goes on the positive train. If you don't care about food that is completely overpriced, then by all means waste your money. Won't be back for a fancy dollop of wasabi.

Yelp
The veg sushi were super affordable. The ingredients were fresh. The service was good. I used to go here before they renamed the restaurant. It hasn't changed much. The parking situation could be improved.

Yelp
Was looking for a sushi restaurant and Ocean Wave is a Thai restaurant that serves some sushi. The sushi I had we mediocre at best. If you are wanting strictly sushi this is not the place. I did not try anything else on the menu just sushi.

Yelp
One of the best sushi restaurants I've ever been to. Egg rolls were average but sushi rolls were amazing. Liked the volcano roll so much I got 2. Another roll we usually get is the yummi yummi. 5 star sushi.

Yelp
I ate here recently and it was very good. I had the poke bowl (which I thought was much better than a lot of the Poke pop up places), and my wife had some sushi - the fish was fresh, the service was very good and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

Yelp
I hate to write this review but they lost a very loyal customer yesterday. We came here around 7:30 after seeing a play at Horizon and didn't get our food until after 9!!! Tables around us that were seated AFTER our order was taken were chowing down on their food long before our plates arrived. It's not like we ordered anything exceptional - I had combo 1 and my companion had a volcano and a lobster roll. An hour and a half is just not acceptable. We brought it up to to the manager but she didn't really do anything to remedy the situation. Some edamame on the house so we are not gnawing on our chopsticks?? Nada. We also didn't see our waiter after he dropped our drinks at the beginning. He seemed to be avoiding or hiding away from us. Would not go back after this kind of treatment and I used to visit several times a year and recommend it to my friends. Not any more.
