The food was reallly good and the customer service was great. I loved the owner he cracked jokes and made my sisters and I feel very comfortable. I had got the shrimp Pho, it was the best pho I've had and the chili oil was sooo spicy I loved it. The Wontons were good as well they were chicken. Overall, the price was very cheap and affordable , a 10/10 ...Will be back !!

Music was good, food was amazing, the service was excellent. Will be coming back just for the seafood soup, alsoooo they're open until 12 everyday, I wish it was updated on Google maps, otherwise I would've came the other day 🤣

Went there for lunch with my family of 5. We ordered an appetizer fried calamari- $10.96 on the menu. We ordered another one again toward the end of our meal. When we were done and got the check, we were charged $14.99 for each appetizer. I kindly let server about the extra amount and he apologized and said he'll fix it. I trusted his apologies. Only to know after that he only took $2 off on both appetizers. It's a shame that people like him scam people like that and got away with it. I'm not going back ever again. Be careful people, don't end up like me😞.

I had a mobile order before. I placed it. I put on special ingredients for drunken noodles, NO CHILE and they still added the CHILE and also before they used to give more food. But now they're being a bit stingy. The food is delicious dont get me wrong but its not worth it for the amount they serve now.

I was a little skeptical on ordering here; if i could give them 10 stars i would. The food is delicious, Thai tea is extraordinary. & lets not forget about the sticky rice with mango. We have been here twice in one week and plan on coming back. The young man that works here is great. You just earned a loyal customer.

The food was fresh and delicious! The wings were crunchy and meaty and came with a sauce on the side. ( crack sauce ) I ordered spicy beef Rice but it wasn't spicy at all but still tasty.

It's been a couple years but everything is still good except the orange chicken. It's changed, not as crispy, it's soggy now.

Rice is flavorful but not worth $20 when there's not any crab meat in there... Could see the small pieces but can't even taste it

This place was great. Plenty of seating inside. The service was on point. A group of us went and got different things. I am a junky for phó. I realize that not all Thai places do phó, but this was delicious. I got a brisket and beef ball phó. Another individual got a massaman curry, the other guy got pad Thai. They all enjoyed their meals. We all left full and happy. I talked to the waiter and asked if they had some more authentic offerings. They do. Next time I go back we will be having some of that. You won't be disappointed with this location.

Just wanted to update! My second time here and this time I brought my parents for their first :) my parents ordered the beef with yellow curry, crab meat fried rice, and orange chicken! I ordered my fave, drunken noodles! Everything tasted yummy and my parents enjoyed the food so thank you!

I went in here for my lunch break and I told the guy whats the fastest thing they can make and he was like anything, I was like even chicken pho and he was like yup. 6! Minutes I got my food in less than 6 minutes I was super happy and the food tasted amazing!! Server was super helpful!

Genuinely confused about the fresh part of the food. Everything tasted frozen and immediately didn't sit well. I heard the microwave being used multiple times and everything genuinely tasted old. I ordered a plethora of things, the chicken wings, rangoons, calamari, pot stickers and the pork belly.

Ocha Thai has exceptionally creamy curries, tasty pan fried noodles, and are a great value to boot. Highly recommend the yellow curry, pad see ew, gyoza appetizers (both steamed and fried), and fried rice (a little lean on the protein but still tasty). After mourning the loss of my previous favorite Thai place, Siam Iyara (RIP), I'm thrilled to have finally found an equivalent replacement.

Hubby and I went on a whim last night and decided to eat here. Since Ocha Thai took the place of our beloved Far East Restaurant, we have not been in these parts in a very, very long time. Upon entry, the hot table that used to be in the old establishment still sits here. Not entirely sure if it's owned by the same management but definitely worth patronizing, Hubby wanted Thai boat noodle and sure enough, they served it here. I was opting for a rice dish but the server Kim, sold me on a fresh bowl of combination pho that she said would come from a freshly made batch in the kitchen. It was perfect because I wanted to eat something "soupy" even though it was clearly hot as balls outside at 107 degrees. Each noodle soup came with balanced broths in its own right. Thai boat was thick, dark, and rich. Pho was clear, light and aromatic. Both dishes shared the same plate of usual garnishes: bean sprouts, Thai basil, limes and sliced jalapeños. The noodles in each dish were the perfect serving and there was ample meat in each bowl. We ordered a beef pad see ew to go for my daughter. The hubby asked for a Vietnamese iced coffee but Kim was polite in stating they didn't have one but offered Thai version, being it is a Thai restaurant. She said it's going to be great and I'll give you a small taste test. She came back quickly with a regular order and it was refreshing. It's slightly less stronger and less sweeter than the traditional Vietnamese version. As the dinner went on, several customers came by and picked up their phone orders. There were about five tables of restaurant diners all who seemed to be enjoying their food. Overall, the dinner was pleasant. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was chill. The food was authentic and delicious. Best of all, the server Kim handled customer orders in an expeditious manner. We will definitely be back.

No bueno I got old rice with roaches and soup with little secret ingredients like hair . The service was slow my food got cold on the way home. I guess the taste was there but non worth 40$ for a seafood soup and chowmein with hairs in it. No thanks will not come back here.

Very over priced for the taste, the setting, the location, and the service. Was recommend here by some friends but it didn't turn out to be as great. I've gone to better. Can improve.

Okaaaay since we went the very 1st time (18 days ago) we've gone 3 more times! This place is soooo good and the food is very fresh!!! I highly recommend the orange chicken. Owner was super nice and let us try their thai version of horchata, reallly good!!

Mom and Pop type vibe with food that will make your stomach happy. Whoever has aux in the restaurant knows good music! The couple times i've went I've had the same waiter, he is super nice and attentive!!! He was super helpful my first time going and helped me pick out something to eat. The restaurant is clean. Whenever I'm craving Thai/Vietnamese i always make sure to stop by.

Food was fire, the chicken and beef in the chow mein tastes kind of old though. Service was good, also has a chill vibe inside. Reminds me of old school restaurants from when I was younger.

My Grandpa, aunt and brother have all lived in Bakersfield for a total of nearly 30 years of my life, and of all the amazing memories I have of those years, there is a common theme: food. King's Table all-you-can-eat buffet (soft serve ice cream until we complained about not feeling well and Grandpa taking the all-you-can-eat to the next level and sneaking out pockets full of food for his dogs), Chuy's, Basque food, Dewar's...there are so many types of incredible food around here, and now I get to add Thai to the list! On the way through heading up to Shaver Lake, I was in hangry mode just wanting someone else to decide where we'd pull over to eat QUICKLY, when my navigator said those magic words, "Hey! This place has 4.5 stars and over 200 reviews!" She knows me too well. We walked in and the place was rockin'. Literally. Turns out it was our server, Kim's, birthday celebration. She even asked if we had any song requests! (My kids impressed her with their taste in music.) Yeah. I know. This doesn't involve the food, but that's the thing...we became part of a family-run restaurant's family birthday party! And we left feeling like part of the family! Ok. The food. We love all food in our family but good Thai is something we rarely find. Our first test is always whether a place serves papaya salad. They passed that test. They do. And it was delicious. Our eggplant was spicy and cooked perfectly. The Pad See Ew was voted BWEH (Best We've Ever Had), all the shrimp we added to the dishes was cooked perfectly, and the probably shouldn't have ordered but did anyway bowls of pho and ramen were great as well. Oh. And my icy cold Singha. Not only was the food amazing, we got out of there for $77. (And the birthday girl hooked us up with some boba Thai tea too!) Great value, great food, great people, and when we stop next time, the manager, Sammy, said we have to try their seafood soup. Who am I to not follow directions like that? Don't pass this place up.

Had my order to go ..an I wish I had stayed to dine in ..The food was delicious flavor was on point ..If u haven't tried this place ..Give a shot ..I know I'll be going back for sure ..they got a big menu different options...

First time here, ordered food ahead of time online. We showed up early to get our food and have to wait about 5-10 minutes longer than the estimated time online. No big we were not in any rush. My husband and I were both not impressed. The food was bland. Thankfully we had taken the food home so I was able to add several different seasonings and sauces to make mine have any flavor. The food all seemed cooked correctly but I ordered Fried noodle with egg and chicken and when I started eating it I noticed there was calamari in it. I don't know if I accidentally got somebody else's order or if that's in there and they just don't tell you. We will probably give them another try and maybe eat there just to see if there's something different or missed out on something because we didn't stay we took our food to go. However I would prefer the drunken noodle at Casa burger over here so that's saying some thing. We'll see what next trip brings.

This spot reminds me of my good old city LA . I couldn't believe why its so lonely on the weekends ! Then I remembered i wasn't in LA . Made me happy though cause i dont have to wait 2 hrs to be seated . LOVE this place !!!!

Out of town sometimes you have to try your luck with restaurants. This place, did not disappoint. I ordered the seafood in garlic sauce and asked them to make it spicy. It was on point! When I'm in town again, I'll be back! Thanks!

I was driving back home to Los Angeles and wanted to test out another red curry. Whenever traveling I seek out Thai restaurants because I love red curry so much...I've done so many times and on five continents. So I should know red curry by now. Yelp told me this was the place to eat. What I had at this place ranks among the very best I've had. The three areas where a red curry can suffer were nicely taken care of: The vegetables were cooked perfectly, the sauce was succulent with just the right amount of heat, and the portion was large. Some places skimp on the quality of the coconut milk but not here. I had a Thai ice tea and that was excellent, as well. I would have liked a brown rice but they had only white and fried rice. The cost was what I would expect in Southern California. I'll be back!

I went with my friend to this place last Sunday evening. Our server was very friendly and, because we knew there was a server/food service worker shortage, we stayed patient and enjoyed our conversation while the food was being prepared. The server, who I think was also the owner, was very apologetic even though I didn't think it was too much of a long wait. He gave us a complimentary Thai drink for our trouble. The food was very delicious, we both had the Pad See Ew and I thought it was well done. Would definitely recommend. No fancy stuff, just a small, family owned, and yummy Thai food.

I've had their food twice since I've moved to Bakersfield. Their food quality and taste is great but the portions on today's order for both mongolian beef and pad thai are very small. Honestly, barely enough for one person. Not sure if I will go back. Might try few others places in town.

I checked this place out after some great reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. Perfect Food was great. I tried the drunken noodles with chicken, loved it. They have so many selections and the service was fantastic. And Sammy does have some jokes if you want to have a good laugh!! You won't be disappointed!!

Was lucky enough to stumble across this little place while traveling to Bakersfield for business. I adore Thai food for its freshness and flavors. I have many go-to's in the Bay Area and this place is really good. The shrimp tempura was light and crispy without any hint of grease or oil. The Shrimp Wonton Soup was very good as well. Plump and tasty wontons with fresh mid-sized shrimp and a flavorful broth with fresh herbs, ginger, garlic and I think lemongrass. Very tasty and satisfying in a chilly night. I left stuffed because I ate every bite. Service was fast and friendly. Environment was cozy but a little old and dark feeling. But service and food made up for that easily. I'll be back the next time I'm inn Bakersfield.

Not great. The taste was off on every dish. Didn't taste like authentic Thai to us. We eat a lot of Thai and we were passing through the area, so thought we'd give it a try. Staff was very nice.

Great food, prices, and service! I called in an order to be picked up, fresh spring rolls, pad see ew, and drunken noodles both with combination beef and shrimp. On the phone I was told that my order would be ready in 15 minutes and I live about a stones throw away, so when I left 10 minutes later and arrived my food was hot and ready to go! Didn't interact long with the employees or owner, but they were friendly enough and got me checked out fast. I went in on a Saturday night and found the place busy but not unreasonably packed. They definitely seem to be a local hot spot for good Thai food. The food we had was really good, and the peanut sauce that came with the spring roll was absolutely delicious. The prices were decent, the portions are good, and the produce is fresh, which makes a big difference in SE Asian cuisine. Really looking forward to trying more of their menu and definitely putting Ocha Thai Restaurant into the cravings rotation!

After a long day of driving and car breakdowns, we drove by Ochoa and decided to fulfill our Thai food craving. This place isn't fancy, but everything about it is incredible. Great food, welcoming staff and all the Thai iced teas and coffee you can drink. Our awesome server even gave us two for the road! A definite gem.

Great lunch specials! Anything in the entree menu plus soup, salad and egg roll for 9.99! Food was very good. My husband had chicken pad Thai and I had chicken coconut curry with bamboo shoots. Chicken was tender and lots of nice vegetables. We would return. Fast service also.

Food was delicious. Spring rolls have chicken and shrimp with a very tasty peanut sauce. Chicken penang came with lots of vegetables and plenty of rice. We were greeted right away, seated and given menus without wait. Orders we're taken, spice levels check checked for each. Food came out quickly and as ordered. Great customer service. We'll be back!

Excellent Thai food joint. The Pad See Ew and Tom Yum were great even though I got them to go. Food was ready in 10 minutes even with about 10 tables occupied and a few other orders that came in around the same time.

Food is good, portions are small, service is ok, parking lot is scary. I continue to go here for food because it's good, please fix other issues and this place would be great.

We just arrived in town and saw this place on Yelp. We love thai food and we're not disappointed. I had the Pad Thai combo and it was wonderful, hubby had Beef and Peppers and it was ok. The egg rolls were outstanding.

This place is so good. We ate everything we ordered. Super nice family atmosphere. Very welcoming and attentive. I will definitely stop by again. Oh yea..mango sticky rice!!

I ordered so much last night. Of course I wish I could get the dine-in experience during this COVID-19. Pick up was the only option, like other places once you receive the food to go sometimes it may be a little cold. Well not this place! We ordered the wonton soup, drunk noodle seafood, chicken and vegetables, orange chicken, spicy chow mein(chicken) and combination fried rice. The food has really good flavoring. The best in town. To top it off we also added Thai iced tea, it was amaaaazing! I definitely recommend! :)

First time there and I definitely must add the customer service was amazing the young woman who helped us was great, I wish I got her name very helpful. The food is the best love the drunken noodle but the pad thai definitely is the best. The fried egg rolls are delicious but I gotta love the fried tofu more. And there thai tea and coffee is also great
