Where To Eat Near The Major Paris Museums

"Near: Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris, Musée du quai Branly, Musée Yves Saint Laurent, Palais de Tokyo, Musée Gumet Reservations are essential at Octave, so make one for lunch on whatever day you’re planning to visit the Musée d'Art Moderne. This French-Korean tasting menu spot is just a fifteen-minute walk away, and reasonably priced compared to other fine-dining options around town: the five-course menu is €75, but if you’re pressed for time, stick with the appetizer, main, and dessert combo for €59. Go to town on a plate of kimchi penne, end with a melon popsicle, then walk ten minutes to the Trocadero for some obligatory Eiffel Tower pics." - sophie friedman

We had a really nice experience here. This is a first time, i have tried gastronomic korean food in Paris. Everything is really interesting, you can still taste the authentic but at another level. The food portions here were generous. The service is really good and the atmosphere is cozy. This restaurant will be great for a romantic date.

Wonderful French/Korean fusion fine dining. Charming extremely capable Korean chef, via Los Angeles and now Paris. Tasting menu is the only option. Good wine pairing proposed. Service was excellent. But the star of the dinner was the sequence of beautiful flavorful elegant dishes. Restauranteurs use the word "fusion" rather freely; in this case, the fusion is real, creative, and delicious. Highly recommended!

The idea of Franco-Korean food is great but in execution, many of the dishes are simply unremarkable. There is nothing special or creative about this restaurant. Service is cold, and the chef simply ignores you despite having a massive window to see each guest coming in and out of the restaurant. What exactly is the point of this place?

I went to Octave during my visit in Paris after watching Gabie Kook's Youtube video and it did not disappoint. Both the service and food were exceptional. Our waiter helped us pick a bottle of white that paired excellently with the food. The food is based on Korean dishes but mixed with French technique, which is something I haven't come across. Definitely a Michelin-star worthy restaurant. Afterwards it's a very quick walk to view the Eiffel Tower at night. Two thumbs up!

great service, amazing!!! food. it does take quite long as it is an 8 course meal, but very worth it and was full in the end. the menu changes every 2 months. Must make a reservation online

Must visit in Paris! Good service and awesome foods! If you want to experience K food in Paris or if you want to experience unforgettable memory - should visit OCTAVE! Winelist was also soooo good!

This was recommended by a friend, so we came with very high expectations…the fushion food of French and korean was done with beautiful plating, the taste was also great , but my partner was French he didn’t enjoy the taste as much as I did, Iv always liked korean food, but since it’s a fushion style I was expecting a bit more wow factor with the taste rather than traditional korean taste, the decoration was cute and cozy, the waiter they seemed new but were polite , if the smell of the restaurant could be more fresh that would have been great , all in all I would recomend to visit the restaurant as I can tell everything was done with detail and care.
