Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar

We visited Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar in Bangkok and it was well worth it. The views are absolutely stunning and easily some of the best in the city. Watching the sunset from up here is reason enough to visit. There’s a great variety of drinks. The live DJ added a nice energy to the space. The atmosphere is cool and stylish. There is a minimum spend for the table but honestly it’s worth it for the experience and the view alone. Must have: The view is the main event here. Would definitely come back next time we're in Bangkok.

I visited this rooftop bar on my last day in Bangkok due to the good reviews. I was solotraveling and had no reservations but thought that I’ll be fine if they reject me due to no reservation. First of all It was a bit hard to find the entrance cause there are no signs. After asking some employees they told me it’s inside the Hotel. When I arrived at the rooftop Bar they told me that they still have room for me, but the employees seems like they were annoyed. They gave me the worst seat possible in the middle next to the entrance under some bright light. I ordered 1 mango spritz and mango sticky rice. The service is more than bad here. They didn’t even tried to make a good cocktail. I was able to drink the mango spritz but it was one of the worst I’ve ever drank and a bit pricey too. The food was fine but also not the best and expensive. During my time there I felt like I’m not welcomed there. The employees make you feel like you’re a burden. The view on the other hand is a 10/10. The next time I‘m in Bangkok I’ll definitely visit a other rooftop bar

The ambiance is chic and modern, perfect for a romantic evening or a classy night out with friends. I ordered one of their signature cocktails (a refreshing green blend garnished with rosemary and citrus) and was impressed by both the presentation and the flavor. The burger was juicy and flavorful, complemented by crispy fries and a trio of dipping sauces that added the perfect touch. The service was attentive and welcoming throughout the evening. What really stood out was the atmosphere—intimate yet lively, with a relaxed rooftop vibe that felt elevated in every sense. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Bangkok and want a rooftop experience that combines great food, great views, and great energy.

I'm coming out here for years, always great and definitely one of my top 3 rooftop bars of Bangkok! however I got negatively surprised on my recent visit as the waiter told me there is a minimum amount of 1000 Thai baht to spend...😬😏 according to him these policies got introduced about 10 months ago. After a short discussion I was yet able to just enjoy one drink (~300 THB).

The staff are a bit stuck-up, but it's not a surprise in a place like this. The drinks are pricey (cocktails from 490 baht), but also expected. Excellent cocktails though!What is amazing is the view. And that's what you pay for. We were happy that we went.

The staff's service was excellent. I was a single customer so everyone talked to me in a fun way! In particular, Mr. Win spoke Japanese to me took photos for me and provided great service. Next time, I'll definitely have a proper meal. I'll definitely go again. Thank you.

After a long research to find the best rooftop in Bangkok, we have decided to come here. And that was BETTER THAN PERFECT 🤩. Live music on the restaurant level, delicious and beautiful- Michelin Star deserving food, amazing views on the whole Bangkok, excellent service. Nothing to add. (Be sure to try mocktail based on Thai Tea - TOP!) Higher floors with open roof bar and live DJ - great! In between Monkey Bar with another DJ. Mind blowing atmosphere and ambience. No entrance fee- just booking a table upfront required. Amazing place. Prices low according the level of service. I would recommend and if I will ever come to Bangkok again, I will be there on the Octave Rooftop for sure ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Always an amazing time! I did make a reservation beforehand, just to be safe and ensure we got a table (for this there is a 1,000 baht minimum p/p). It was so worth it! But they do also take walk-ins.
