My second time there. It was my brothers and I final spot on a day of sampling microbreweries and tap houses in and around Madison. It was a refreshing end to the day. The place was pretty busy but we had two spots at the bar. A great beer list including some Japanese beers as their owner is a Japanese brewery. Questions about the beer and food were answered expertly by the staff. You can also buy some beverages to take with you from a large in-house cooler that became part of the decor. Ask about the work that goes on behind in the huge brewery and learn more about this great gem in Waunakee.

Google
The food was delicious, the indoor and outdoor atmosphere was fun, and the pricing is good for what you get. The only annoyance was the gaggle of children running around screaming outside in the beer garden and the parking lot, in the dark, which really soured the vibe. I wish some parents would not use breweries as parks.

Google
Nice place and spacious. Great beer selection and their burger is good. Their staff should smile more though or more engaging. I find them snobbish like they don’t like what they are doing.

The beer here was fantastic! The interior was gorgeous and super cozy. The music was diverse and I loved it. The food was a bit pricey but it was good! Super good brewery stop with windows in the restaurant area viewing inside the brewery. Outdoor picnic seating and pets are welcomed by the outdoor seating. I will be coming here again!

Kelly S.

Google
Spacious inside taproom during the winter months, but the outdoor patio is where to be. The food here is great, the staff are friendly, and the beer is great.

Google
Amazing beer food and staff. The beer selection is great and always rotating and the food is great for a brewery. Seating area is perfect for kids/families and there is always live music or some other event going on. Great place to kill a few hours and hang out with good people.

Google
Good beer choices and great food. Sour beers are great choices if you like sours. Did have a large N/A selection also. Staff was a little quiet but friendly. Highly recommend the burnt ends!! The flavor was amazing!!

Google
Great beer, friendly staff, and clean/chill atmosphere. Seems like a nice family-friendly spot to gather inside or out. We sat on a picnic table outside and really enjoyed the day. A+ visit, thank you for having us!!

Yelp
Whenever we're close to Waunakee we try to stop in for some of their smoothies to take home. It was also time for lunch! We had the Cheese Smashburger, Fried Chicken sandwich and fried calamari. We both upgraded to add French fries. I should've stayed with the bag of kettle chips. It was a lot of food. Everything was very good! We also had a Tropical Stout and a Pineapple Lychee Vanilla Fruited Seltzer. They have very nice outdoor area to sit, a small indoor seating area and bar. The first man to take our order was not friendly and a little rude. The man who checked us out was much friendlier! They have some very fun flavors on tap.

Yelp
I think their hours are off on yelp- we visited there when it was listed as closed and it was opened and filled with many happy beer drinkers (: There was a good amount of space both inside and out, with music that was not too loud. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They offered some of their own brews, as well as beers done by other breweries. Everything we tried was pretty good, but the key lime pie sour was exceptional. You could taste everything down to the graham cracker crust. They also serve food but we did not try any while we were there.

Yelp
Great place to visit; had a good time visiting; good selection of drinks and some nice food selections. Communal seating but that's a way to meet other great people. Enjoyed the campus style environment. Like to come back again next time in the area. Well worth the visit.

Yelp
We love this gem!! I've only been once but on the list and it's our next stop!! It's a perfect place for a Sunday drink and board game day! Fun atmosphere for friends family or a little date! I personally love their ciders! If you're in Waunakee, this is a must see!! Be sure to take some beer home for later too!

Yelp
One of my favorite local breweries. I love the untitled beer! They have something for everyone, beers including gluten free options, sours, seltzers and non alcoholic beers. I have to say that I am a beer lover and their non alcoholic ones are great. They have a wonderful multipack that you can purchase for when you're craving the taste but not needing the alcohol. I've really enjoyed their food as well with the Asian salad being one of my favorites. Family friendly and they have games available to play too.

Yelp
This place has on the best stouts I've tasted , one bartender is a hoot , she got swag and a sense of humor. Outside area so if you want to enjoy the sun you can. Great place for friend to hang and enjoy a quality beer.

Yelp
I was here mid week on a beautiful August day in Wisconsin. The staff was friendly. There were quite a few patrons sitting outside on the lawn under the umbrellas. I opted to sit inside. It's a very modern taproom. The brewery is visible through the windows in the taproom. They have octopi and untitled art beers on tap and in cans to go. They have seltzers and nonalcoholic beer for off sale purchase as well. You can get crowlers filled with anything on tap. The beer was delicious.

Yelp
During our visit to the Madison area, we found ourselves at Octopi Brewing on a whim and we were so glad that we went! First of all, the building was fun, spacious, cozy, and COVID-protocol safe. We immediately felt welcomed and taken care of and were excited to settle in for some drinks! While they don't do flights, you can get 4 oz pours of the beers. This was our approach to try the different beers. All total, we tried two sours, four stouts/porters, and an IPA. We discovered very quickly that all of the beer is very high quality and delicious! Some favorites included the pot de creme Mexican stout, the chocolate coconut stout, and the cinnamon roll stout. The others were all delicious, but these were the three we ended up walking purchasing 4-pack cans. Yum! My personal favorite was the pot de creme (so flavorful, creative, and high ABV) and my spouse loved the cinnamon roll stout (very flavorful and on the sweeter end). One thing to note is that Octopi welcomes a brewery to join them at their location and sell their beers as a place to start. At this time, that brewery is Untitled Art Brewing. All of the three favorite beers that were our favorites were Untitled Art Beers. There aren't actually a ton of Octopi beers on the draft list. Finally, staff were super friendly, prices were very reasonable, and the space was clean. It was a fun and delicious visit and we look forward to stopping by again next time we are in town!

Yelp
A lot of different beers to choose from rather than your standard IPA's. Bright and clean and a different look at standard menu items. It would be fun with a group. Kid and pet friendly.

Yelp
Had a really nice lunch here a few weeks back. Great beers, very good service, and a damn good burger. Wish it wasn't so far from home.

Yelp
We go to a lot of different breweries and hit this spot on our way out east, we're happy we explored a new place right outside Madison The ambiance is industrial; a cool, chill vibe with communal tables and some high top tables for a more intimate setting. There's a tv for the sport lovers and a secondary dining room to hang out with friends. This brewery is a little off the beaten path, about 10 min off Hwy 90, in an industrial park. I was pleasantly surprised they have several stouts on tap! I got the ice cream pasty stout, per the recommendation of the brewer and its excellent! It simultaneously tastes like ice cream while not being sweet. We also got some of their food and it was definitely pub food. We ordered their pretzel (not as good as I've had), burnt ends (just ok) and fries (with truffle aioli). The service was fast. The bathrooms are clean and generic, the indie music was great and once again, Wisconsin has impressed us with their homegrown, salt of the earth breweries but feel this place could be improved. Here's 3 ways it could improve: 1. It could use more plants and some books/games. There was a long shelf that had nothing on it that could be used for the customers' use. These things would make the place feel warmer. 2. The brewer asked me if I wanted 10 ounces and I said yes. She gave me a 7-ounce pour and charged me for the 10. I even remarked on this to the other brewer but he didn't make the change. 3. I love the name Octopi but noticed how the mural, glasses and merchandise were only of tentacles. The brewery would stand out more if it had some sort of clever octopus face, whether of just one eye, a smirk or something amusing. Just tentacles reminds of a any old sushi place. So because of these reasons, I give the brewery 3 stars.

Judy M.

Yelp
The beer was great but wish you had a porter. Friday fish fry was mediocre. Service great. But it was like a kindergarten there and between 5 to 5:30 eleven children under 5 yers old present with their parents. We Could't wait to get out.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent beers coupled with excellent food and pleasant service. We pass closer breweries to enjoy ourselves here!
google avatar

Yelp
Not only does Octopi have a wide selection of great beers and food, but they have excellent bartenders. If I could give a sixth star I would. There was a particular patron who was saying incredibly misogynistic and homophobic statements. The bartender came over and appropriately addressed the situation. I'll be back not just for the great beer, but to support a brewery that is a safe place for all.

Paige M.

Yelp
I used to really enjoy coming here. Unfortunately, the quality of the beer has really gone down. I've gotten multiple to go packs from the brewery and more than half of them have a gross sediment in the cans. It really makes me sad because these beers are not cheap either. They're actually quite expensive. You should expect to get a good clean quality beer for this price. Overall, the brewery does a really good job with food and having live music but they have some kinks to work out. I also really wish the staff was more friendly. Most of the time when you go to the bar, no one has a smile on their face and I feel like I'm interrupting them or bothering them. I've brought multiple family and friends here and they say the same thing about the staff. Hopefully they can show some improvements but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit anymore.

Karen T.

Yelp
Great service, friendly and helpful staff. Beer menu includes solid NA options and a nitro cold coffee that is amazing (and I don't generally drink or like coffee). We tried a couple of appetizers for the group and sandwiches, all were good and would eat there again. It's a fun place to meet friends and chat or play some board games.

Yelp
We all know there are INCREDIBLE beers and seltzers at octopi. But guess what...their Food is equally as incredible. Truffle fries, batch bake house pretzel and fish fry- and everything we've tried has been wonderful!!

Yelp
First time out here on a really busy Saturday afternoon. It was too cold outside so ended up finding a spot indoors at the bar. We didn't have our dog with so that was fine. I had the brazed pork belly for something different and it was very good. My wife had tacos which came with "street corn" and we had an order of fries, which was huge, served in a paper boat as was the corn. More than enough for two people. Good food and if you're into craft beer there is plenty here. We are not beer people and would have preferred a lite beer or a Corona but tried one anyway. It's really not fair to rate the place because it was so crowded and very noisy and not a relaxed lunch like we would have preferred. Maybe I would have liked it better on a weekday , or eating outside with our dog. The service was good but there is no table service, you order at the bar and everything is entered into an I-Pad. Seems to work ok and was pretty fast. Not the biggest fan on our first visit but would try it again.

Paul E.

Yelp
Beers were ok. Service was great. We ordered a soft pretzel not impressed - it was smaller than I expected, had to pay extra for beer cheese dipping. We are in WI should come with it
google avatar

Cherise K.

Yelp
I really liked this place! It's cool that they are a collaborator with Untitled Artists and have a large selection of beers, but really what blew me away was the space and the food selection. It's probably one of the most west coast, classic brewery stops in Wisconsin and I can only imagine what it's like in the summer, with the patio in full swing and music. I appreciated that there were TVs playing sports, music in the background, and enough tables for my partner and I to still play cards. Overall, had a great time here and would definitely come back.

Yelp
Although it looks like this would be a great place for a hang out pre-COVID (and hopefully post-COVID) because of the beer garden set up, I recommend brew fans placing a curbside pick up order or doing as we did, walk up and do takeaway. Being the only customers at the time, we waited by the door closest to the picnic tables and a masked staff member brought us a menu. She went back inside while we contemplated what we wanted, and came back out to take our order. A short wait later, she brought us the cans in a cardboard box, we paid, and went on our way. Note: The flavored water with CBD is sold in six packs and the flavors cannot be mixed and matched.
google avatar

Jeff K.

Yelp
Taproom was closed (I get it, COVID is a thing, but all other breweries we went to had indoor seating).. could have been because of construction in the facility, but it was windy, barely 50 degrees, and the beers were in plastic cups. Too bad, because there are some great beers being made here. Invite me back when your taproom is open again so I can give you an extra star.

Shawn M.

Yelp
Had food awhile back there but the stouts and seltzers are great. Lots of great collabs. Dog friendly patio and worth the trip. Hours are unique.

Yelp
Fantastic food, fun atmosphere, unique beers! We ordered the chicken wings with chili-peanut sauce -- I was intrigued by the sauce and it certainly lived up to the intrigue. The chicken was incredibly tender and the sauce was novel and a perfect balance of flavors. We also ordered the cornmeal battered cod (Friday Fish Fry). The fish and batter was delicate and not heavy or greasy at all. The smashed potatoes were a welcome twist to the usual fries/chips that come with fish fries. Tartar sauce was on point. For beers, we got a flight including a Dragonfruit IPA, hazy IPA, pink lemonade IPA, cranberry cider, amongst others. Interesting flavors, enjoyable taste. Service was the only facet that didn't necessarily impress during our recent visit, got slight hints of impatience/unwelcomeness when we were ordering. But in past trips to Octopi, I remembered service being fine so perhaps it was just a bad night. Overall, feel like sometimes at breweries, you either love the food or love the beer (usually the beer) but we loved both at Octopi!

Shannon G.

Yelp
Amazing service! Food was good. Wide selection of beverages. Everything we tried was great! Brought a ton home with us.

Yelp
Interesting. The address for this brewery is the same for Untitled Art Brewing. Well I will just share my beer drinking experience in regards to Untitled Art Brewing since the beer I had was with their name. First of all this is another brewery I love to support since they really emphasize with the arts and feature art work on their cans by artists. The beer is very artful and unique as well! I had a lovely New Zealand Pilsner and this was my very first pilsner of this version ever and really enjoyed the unique and new flavor profile that came with it. Also I had another beer that was just to drop dead and die for and that was their Zanzibar Chocolate Ice Cream Stout... oh man...it lives up to it's title in every way...love that beer! The third was a Key Lime Ginger Sour which was good but I wasn't quite as bowled over by that one compared to the other two... but that's okay! Untitled Art definitely makes well crafted beers!

Yelp
I'm disappointed in their closing protocol/procedures. We have been there 2 Sundays in a row and felt kicked out both times. The first week they closed at 5 which is their normal closing time on Sundays. That's fine! The employees start closing procedures well before that time and that's also fine, except for the fact that they do it in a way that makes you feel like they want you gone. I watched a man order a beer at 4:45 and the server said, "can you drink it in 15 minutes?" We left at 4:50 and as we walked outside we heard them playing the song "Closing Time." Really? The second Sunday we tried to get there much earlier but they were closing at 3 for Father's Day. That's fine! We knew they would want the doors locked and lights off at 3 because of how they had acted the previous Sunday so we made sure to order our second round at 2:40. We were told that they had stopped serving and they refused to pour us a beer. I'm shocked that they turn away paying customers 20 minutes before they close. On both Sundays we watched several patrons leave without getting the beers they had hoped to have. I love Octopi and the beer - I also appreciate the staff and how hard they work. I think it's fine for employees to be eager to end their shift and get home to their families or onto their next engagement.. I just also think there's a way to do it without making customers feel unwelcome and unappreciated. Please, please make it feel like a welcome and hospitable environment until you're truly closed. If you want to be gone by 5 pm, change your closing time to 4:30 to the public and let people enjoy.

Yelp
FINALLY, I've been wanting to find Untitled Art and a bunch of variety of it. I'm not sure what the relationship is, but it sounds like Untitled Art might be a subsidiary of Octopi? Just as expected, when I arrived, I saw so many Untitled Art choices, plus Octopi's own beers and some guest taps. I ended up doing a flight, which was only $18 for 6 - 7oz pours. Honestly was enough for 2 people. We tried a Plum sour(?), Hazelnut stout, Horchata Stout, Pudding Stout and a Gose. Plum was really tasty, and I put a question mark next to it because I don't remember if it was or not. Tasted like a sour, but I think people who don't like sours would like this one as well. All of the stouts were great, I'd rank it Hazelnut (because I love hazelnut), Pudding, then Horchata. The environment was super cool, with a spacious indoor area and outdoor area. They also have cards and board games so you have something to do while tasting their yummy beers. They also seem to be dog friendly. Additionally, they have their own foodcart outside that you can order food from. Definitely one of my favorite breweries so far - wish it was closer to downtown!

Yelp
I completely forgot about this place and am so glad we drove past it and decided to stop in! I had been here in 2019 but the outdoor area and a food truck was all that was open since it was so new. Now, they have a bar area and a whole large back room. They serve Octopi beers, Untitled Art drinks, and delicious food! I drank their barrel aged beer and absolutely loved it. It what great flavor without being too strong or too sweet. My husband and I also shared the carnitas tacos with a side of sweet corn and truffle fries. It's a bit expensive but TOTALLY worth it for as quality as this food is. I was so shocked by how tasty and fresh everything was. The carnitas were a little dry but the creama and lime helped a lot. I also prefer it a bit more dry so it doesn't make the taco soggy. I would absolutely get it again! I hope the have the brisket tacos next time because I saw those on Yelp and would love to try them! The staff here was very friendly and the place had a chill vibe. It was cozy and felt like a cool neighborhood brewery. I'm super excited to return!

Yelp
I visited Octupi Brewing today. I visit craft breweries as a hobby. Octopi Brewing appeared to be expanding and adding on to their building when I visited. They seem to be sharing brewery space with Untitled Art beer, of which they featured prominently. Staff were friendly and offered me an option for a smaller pour, but no traditional flights. Wi-Fi worked well. The taproom was busy and at the point of standing room only. I understand they serve some food but I wasn't interested. I tried two beers, one fruity and one a Mexican mint chocolate stout. Both were ok but nothing that really caught my attention or encouraged me to grab a growler or grab a 4/6 pack. Corporate atmosphere in a newer space with friendly staff.

Yelp
Quick stop for lunch and beverages while driving home from the Dells. Simple brunch menu. We both ordered the house burger and it was excellent. Cool atmosphere and great customer service. The beers were more obscure (sours, smoothies and heavy stouts) and good, but not much on the tap list that was for everyday kind of folks if that's your jam. Although the Pilsner was quite good. Reasonably priced and well worth the stop.

Yelp
I had been so excited to finally try this place out, and unfortunately I was severely let down. One of the huge perks of this place when it first opened was that I could bring my dog. It is so hard to find places outside of summer where my pup doesn't have to stay at home. Apparently they just opened their kitchen within the building, so the place is no longer dog friendly (unless you sit outside... it's freezing out these days). Major let down. I get that once they served food they legally can't allow dogs in, but switching from dog friendly to not dog friendly kinda lowered expectations and excitement. But, I am not knocking the review level because of that, the lower stars are due to very underwhelming beer choices and lackluster food (that ultimately made my dogs no longer able to come). I drink dark beer, and expected that with the season changing I would have no issues finding dark beer. While that was technically true and there were three dark beers on tap, every single one of them was overly sweet with concepts like "cinnamon roll" or "oreo cookie" or "cherry" something. I could not just get a good dark beer, they were all so over-dessert heavy that I couldn't stomach any of them. If you're going to have three dark beers on tap, maybe all three don't need to be overly sugary sweet? I had to end up going with some kind of dark ale that tasted a bit like a slightly darker Spotted Cow, which is not what you want to drink when you're looking for a stout. Additionally, the food menu options simply didn't tickle my fancy... they were still the kinds of things you could get from a food truck and are more just like bar snacks you could get anywhere. I didn't order anything and the food my friends ordered didn't appear to be anything special. Especially at the sacrifice of letting my dog inside, the food is definitely not up to par... at least not yet (to be fair, the kitchen was new). This place is close to home and would normally be a convenient and fun option. The inside interior is a very industrial modern with large long tables that multiple groups can share. However, I am not encouraged that they will start making dark beer for normal dark beer drinkers, so I am not in a rush to go back. That said, the staff was nice.

Yelp
Decent food. fine drafts. Modern brew pup vibes inside. If I recall the tacos were pretty good.

Yelp
This is the absolute best brewery in Wisconsin in my opinion! The food is amazing, the staff is awesome, the environment is always fun and best of all the beer is STELLAR! They always have some crazy recipes and unique combinations that work well together. Hats off to the brew master! You make some mighty fine craft beer. I'm a fan! We will continue to support the growth of this amazing company and look forward to stopping back again real soon. Staff is always so friendly.

Yelp
In-house food truck has a nice variety of choices. I had a good shrimp P.O.'boy sandwich with a a nice salad. We also had a giant pretzel with a zingy honey mustard. Good variety of beers on tap. The outdoor seating area is also comfortable. Went back again last night for a beer and some dinner. Had the giant pretzel with chicken topping for $16, and a peanut butter stout. It was a lot of food, and the leftovers were even better the next day for lunch. My friend had the hummus which I sampled. Gotta day the hummus wasn't terribly flavorful.

Michael T.

Yelp
Lots of beer and other drink options, so those in our party who don't drink beer had plenty to choose from. Food was also very good and has options for kids and adults.
google avatar

Yelp
Lots to love at Octopi! 1. The outdoor seating area looks super cute - can't wait for the weather to warm up 2. Proximity to our house... we could bike here weather-permitting 3. Lots of vegetarian-friendly items on the menu (can't attest to it being any good yet we just came here for a beer) 4. The variety of board games you can borrow and play. Including a mini pool table is sooo cute 6. Kid-friendly!! 7. Nice selection of WI beer: when we went they seem to have a LOT of stouts.. but I hadn't tried any of the beer offered. Like them on Facebook they seem to have a lot of events posted there.

Yelp
I'm mad at myself for taking so long to get out to Octopi's brewery in Waunakee! We came in on a late-winter afternoon that was surprisingly sunny for a few drinks and to check out the space. We got there about half an hour after they opened and it was already pretty packed. We were able to snag a couple of seats at the bar after taking the last parking space in the lot. It's a modern but inviting space with the signature colorful patterns of Untitled Art's line. There's a permanent food truck out front (order inside!) and games up for grabs near the entrance. Drinks are reasonably priced and come in a smaller sampler size as well as a full size that varies depending on the pour. I made my way through three of their stouts - the coconut cream pie blonde stout from Untitled Art, and the s'mores and toffee stouts from Octopi. The coconut cream pie was outstanding. I've never tasted a better coconut beer (though I've had a couple great ones) and couldn't get over the fact that it so strongly represented a coconut cream pie's flavor without being sickly sweet. The s'mores stout wasn't my favorite; I love s'mores and I love stouts, but I just haven't found a s'mores stout that really lights my fire. There wasn't any particular hit of chocolate, marshmallow, or graham flavor that would have led me to guess it was s'mores-inspired, but I've found this to be the case with most in the field. A perfectly drinkable stout in and of itself, though. I finished up my stout tour with the toffee variety. I really loved this one as well. Plenty of tasty toffee and toasted sugar notes without veering into too sweet or too bitter. I'd happily drink the coconut cream pie and toffee year-round. Both bartenders that were working were on point and super friendly. They were also champs at handling tons of large groups all wanting flights. I'm looking forward to returning when the weather has warmed up to enjoy their outdoor seating!

Robert L.

Yelp
Great atmosphere local establishment. The beers are very niche but they should have at least something that everyone can drink... but mostly crazy beers like milkshake stouts. The food menu is narrow but never disappoints. Love going there.

Sean M.

Yelp
I happened upon this brewery on my way to the hockey rink that is very close by. The beer was really good and a pretty good section too. We might have picked a busy time because our food order took quite a lot longer than I would have expected. Maybe that was by design so I'd have another beer. Either way the food was good.

Andrea S.

Yelp
One of our favorite breweries! Great spot to stop for unique beer and yummy food. The set up is great if you have a larger party with many big tables. Would highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
If you're looking for an unassuming IPA or lager or stout, this probably isn't the place for you. Octopi specializes in big, unique, creative beers packed with flavor and alcohol content, and they do them well. My wife and I stopped in while traveling over Thanksgiving. We'd sampled some Octopi beers previously at various beer festivals and knew their reputation preceded them. Sure enough, the beers we sampled in the taproom were boozy, flavorful and delicious; one of our favorites was a Pink Lemonade IPA we ended up taking home in a four-pack. As far as we're concerned, Octopi is one of the leading breweries in the Midwest, and we'd highly recommend a visit.

Yelp
I may not get to Madison much but when I do I will be going to Octopi Brewing. Not only is the facility cool, open, and inviting they have on top of that a few good beers. The staff is super helpful and the space is just chill all around. Bags outside or games inside. It is a little of the beaten path but worth the jaunt if your looking for some brews. Favorite at the Good Day, One-One Thousand Maker's Market was hands down the oh so blonde coffee stout. I need more of that in my life. The place was super packed for the event and I think the event put them on the map for breweries in Madison. It was a bit hectic and I'm not sure they knew how to handle as much traffic as they had. They did their best though and I would call that a success in my book. Looking forward to going back one of these days real soon!

Yelp
Five stars for the experience. I don't drink and I didn't eat anything. So if you want to stop reading now, I wouldn't blame you. Went here with three friends. They are all craft beer lovers. They were super stocked about each beer they tried. My boyfriend left with a four pack and a crowler. My friend left with a 20 pack. He was so excited he never let go of the box. Atmosphere was awesome. They have games to play, an outdoor space, and bartenders were nice. We missed it, but there was an fair here yesterday. I've followed them on Instagram to make sure I hear about their next fair.

Yelp
The outdoor patio space has a nice homey feel. The food does not disappoint either. We had the brisket tacos which were smoked perfectly and were very tender. The BLT burger was good as well. We would have preferred a slice of bacon instead of pork belly, but the sandwich had good flavor. The fries with the BBQ rub are a must try! They are delicious! We would also recommend the Dachs Lager to drink if you like lighter beer. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Very good beer selections. More unique than most craft breweries. I would have rated a 5 but the food sucked. Had burnt ends and queso dip. Ends were terrible and queso was bland and not hot. Bummer.

Yelp
We made the trip up to Waunakee a few months ago to finally visit Octopi. They are a big operation, note that most of their beers are contract brewed. Attached to their large brewery, they have a large taproom attached with a of things on tap: from their house brand to collaborations to some guest taps. Beers were good, staff was very helpful and fun. No food served. They have a nice outdoor area including a few picnic tables to drink outside, and they occasionally host events like movie viewings.

Yelp
YUM YUM YUM. The cool logo doesn't hurt! Stopped in on the way to Milwaukee to sample some beers and left with our wallets feeling a little lighter as we needed to take one of everything home.

Yelp
Locally crafted beer with windows facing the equipment. I love that this place had its menu not just printed, but up on the wall in giant lettering. We had a book club gathering here, it was a tad challenging to make that work due to acoustics of the building and other people wing around, so we ended up more having two discussions on the same table. But since that isn't the typical reason to go to a brewery I looked for other reasons to enjoy it. The service was amazing. There was one calm bartender doing his best to answer questions and fill orders with a smile on his face even when a customer wasn't crazy about the taste of his beer. An exchange was made and I was pleasantly surprised over my raspberry beer. I expected a sweeter taste as many fruity beers are. Considering the color was a beautiful raspberry as well it was light and slightly tart which gave it more character and didn't overpower me. Thanks, Octopi! I shall visit you another time
