Oda Restaurante 🇨🇴

The restaurant is a hidden gem in an unusual place in Bogota where we not always expect to find signature restaurants. They arranged a table for us even when I made the reservation late which I really appreciate. The staff is super attentive, welcoming and I am glad all the dishes that came to our table were explained by the cooks, I loved the way they talked about the ingredients with so much passion for what they do. The fact that they work with local farmers to get the food to the table makes this restaurant so special. We ordered different dishes to share, smoked fish, duck with gnocchi, sausage rice and, pastrami and beef belly. The one that really made my night was the sausage rice, intense flavor, and the pork belly super soft and chewy at the same time. The pastrami was beautiful, but maybe the lettuce overshadowed the bbq flavor. The other dishes were okay but they didn’t blow my mind. I know Colombian food is not really intense in flavor but still rich. It would be important to emphasize on the ingredients that make every dish unique and make them out stand during the experience.

The best restaurant in Bogotá! This is the authenticity at its best. Outstanding combination of techniques and flavors. The dishes are truly original, with an exquisite combination of textures and techniques, without leaving aside their roots. There’s a lot of intensity in flavors, and a fantastic balance in your palate. Their strength is not in desserts. We ordered only one, and its design ruined the texture it was supposed to have. They use an excess of words to explain everything. Would be nice if they are more concise about the information they are sharing.

Outstanding restaurant! All the dishes are made with local ingredients! The chefs are extremely talented and creative! Loved the ambience as well! All the servers and waiters are very knowledgeable and attentive. It was probably one of the best dinners I’ve had in Bogota.

Honestly, so disappointing. I am simply and utterly disappointed. My party was 7 people and they had the most uncomfortable table that was clearly made for 4 people. We asked if they could help us out and they did nothing! Even though there were empty tables around us. Since this restaurant is new it’s paining to rate them so low but the food was just not it. One of the pictures attached had half the plate empty which, I’m not a food critic, but I think is terrible! Add something to the empty space, the presentation is horrific! It just feels like this restaurant is trying to find their identity and they haven’t done so. It’s very difficult to understand what they want to be, the waiters said that they suggest that the plates be shared which is odd because the plates looked like a regular meal and not something that is meant to be shared. The taste was mid. Do better.

The food is very flavorful and balanced, each dish we had delivered a different play of aromas. The cocktails were well crafted, the card offers classics and new creations. The wine card is neatly arranged with an overseeable selection, it is possible to order some of the wines by the glass. The service was friendly, attentive and motivated. Overall you receive a great price to pleasure ratio, from a European perspective the dishes are fairly priced and sized in a way that will not leave you hungry as in other venues. One star deduction in Ambiente since their were some signs of wear and tear visible in different objects. The place is shared with an indoor golf business, golf apparel is sold in the entrance area, which I found odd and unbefitting. On the other hand due to the elevated location of the restaurant the view of Bogotá’s north is spectacular. Looking forward to my next visit.

The atmosphere in this place is amazing. The service is so polite and educated. They know what they are talking about.

The food was excellent. Very fresh and all the dishes were a hit. Service was slow. It took over an hour before we were able to place our drink and appetizers order. Three hours before we were done. So plan for slow service and a long meal.
