I recently stopped by this milk tea shop, and while the drink itself was okay, the overall experience felt pretty average. The CHAMPION milk tea leaned heavily on the milky side, with very little actual tea flavour coming through. Instead of that fragrant, robust punch you’d expect from a good brew, the tea profile was faint and easily overshadowed. It was smooth enough to drink, but there just wasn’t much depth or character..nothing that really stood out or made me want to take another sip with excitement.
The shop’s environment didn’t help elevate the experience either. The interior looks quite cheap and a bit run down, almost like it hasn’t been updated in years. While it’s functional, it doesn’t feel inviting or cosy, and you definitely don’t get that polished café vibe that many modern milk tea stores aim for. It gives off the impression of a place focused more on quick turnover than comfort or ambience.
Overall, it’s a spot you can grab a drink from if you’re nearby, but it’s not somewhere I’d go out of my way to visit. The milk tea is drinkable but lacks the tea aroma and flavour that make a good cup memorable, and the shop interior doesn’t add anything to the experience. Definitely room for improvement on both the drink and the setting.
