"An unassuming gelateria on the Northcote road, it does exactly what it says on the tin extremely well – serving deliciously creamy Italian gelato. The pistachio is a personal favourite, and like any good gelateria, it has a flavour to suit all taste buds, including lacto-free sorbets and even a sugar free banana sorbet! "Oddono’s makes some seriously good gelato. Flavour-wise, you can expect everything from chocolate and coconut to vodka lemon, plus several sorbet options. Their original shop is in Kensington but the Stoke Newington spot has the advantage of lots of indoor seating, which is perfect if you’re looking for more of a sit-down situation. "Oddono’s is the girl next door of ice cream shops. Unpretentious, charming, and everybody loves it. It’s the kind of place where you go in for an innocent ice cream, and leave knowing that you will probably be returning at least once a week. The sorbets are good, particularly the mango, but the ice creams are where it’s at. Basically, if you go without trying the hazelnut and cookies and cream then you’re doing it wrong.
