"Odds Bar & Bistro is a unique sports bar in Round Rock, Texas, offering an eclectic decor and inventive menu. It features high ceilings, a bespoke black walnut wood bar, and kitschy wallpaper. The menu includes traditional sports bar fare with modern twists, such as salt and pepper chicken wings in a 24-hour garlic brine, poke tower, handmade pastas, and braised short ribs. The bar offers inventive cocktails and an absinthe fountain for unique drinks." - Gabrielle Pharms

Odds Bar + Bistro opens to the general public in January and get ready for a great meal! Wonderful evening here and for a soft opening, everything went smoothly. Great cocktail menu (I ordered the New York Sour) and the chili lime wings was a great appetizer. We ordered the Korean Gochujang Satay Rice Bowl and the Nashville Hot Sandwich. I’d get them again. And you need to save room for the made-in-house NY Cheesecake, so creamy and delicious!! Shoutout to Luci for answering all our questions and the great recommendations. I can’t wait to go back and may need to try one of the burgers next.

Odd's Bar & Bistro just opened last Thursday in Round Rock. I was almost done with my stir fry and the chef brought out another one. He said I could take this one home and that he thought he made the 1st one too wet and he wanted me to have a good one. I actually thought both versions were delicious 😋! Staff were on point and the atmosphere is great. We'll definitely be coming back here!

We visited and had a great experience. The lamb was delicious and the drinks were unique and delicious. Loved the ambiance honestly. Parking might be the only negative. It's a gigantic parking lot but the biggest poker hall in Austin is right next door (same owners) and that place gets a healthy amount of traffic.

Highly disappointed considering the hype around a food network host owning this establishment. We went for Valentine's Day lunch so it was not busy at all. The staff was very friendly however it took forever to get our drinks, even longer than it took for the appetizers. The drinks were good and what you would expect. The frequency to which we were checked on throughout the meal was minimal which I know sometimes that is good but when you are sitting there waiting for food or ready for the check it should be more frequent. We had to get up from our table to walk around and look for a staff member to ask for our check. As for the food, we ordered: Chicken wings which were terrific! Perfect crunch and not dried out. Sweet potato fries: soggy and the dipping sauce had no flavor Fish and chips: Fish was fresh and delicious but the fries were cold and I'm talking like the chill of just being taken out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before. Korean Gochujang Satay Rice Bowl: rice and flavor were what you would expect so that was good however the beef was very tough and chewy. I'm familiar with new restaurants and it takes time for them to work things out and get into a good flow of things. With that said I would certainly give them another try in a few months when things hopefully get better.

Exceeded expectations by a long shot. I was reading all the reviews a few days back. From what I heard they had staffing issues right after opening. As far as my experience, in one word, phenomenal. They hit every mark. Was greeted and seated right away. Bartender was very friendly and attentive. Was doing a good job in multitasking wile being on top of each customer. Atmosphere was clean and upbeat. I had the salmon rice and veggies. It was amazing. Was greeted on the way out too. Can’t wait to come back next time I am in town.

On my first visit the beef on the Korean skewers was a rubbery. Second visit I tried the chicken and it was undercooked, pink and I hope I don’t get sick. Both times I wanted the short rib but both times they were out. New restaurant so I should have given them a month to work out the kinks I guess but the temp on food should have been mastered before opening. I also had the same server twice. She seems nice but doesn’t understand how to check in on her tables. I’ve been here ALONE for 1.5 hrs and she’s came over twice……………..

Extremely delicious, great environment, I do wish there were fewer TVs but watching Quidditch on the TV was a new and fun experience. I'm glad we couldn't hear the TVs at least. We went opening weekend and service was pretty slow but that's to be expected since they're still getting the hang of it. Give them grace and patience and you'll have a great time. The wings (BBQ), yam fries (the side of fire sauce is a chipotle aioli it was amazing!), and the poke tower were incredible and you ABSOLUTELY get your bang for your buck on cocktails. We ordered a Benedictine Monk and had to order more food because of how much and how strong it was. 9/10 (I suspect 10/10 when they get in the groove of it), will return to try the burger and other drinks.

As one of the Round Rock Chamber ambassadors I had the fortune to attend Odds Bar and Bistro’s ribbon cutting with owner and Food Network host John Green. The atmosphere is outstanding, the food was elevated but what really stood out was the energy of the people who worked there. Odds is a magnificent addition to the community if you are looking for somewhere a little nicer to go.
