Odette’s Steakhouse

I’ve been here several times, and I have to say – so much depends on which server you get. This time we had Alan, and he was excellent. He practically handled our party of 10 for a birthday all by himself. What stood out was that he managed everything on time, stayed polite, professional, and attentive. Really impressive! The food was fresh and delicious, especially the seafood – definitely a solid five stars. The only downside: the cocktails were all too sweet for my taste. I’d rate them somewhere between a 3 and a 4. Overall, the atmosphere was great as always: clean, tasty food, and a beautiful view.

This was my first time at Odettes Steakhouse in new hope, PA. I go out with friends once a year for quality, aged steak and our regular place in Newtown closed for good so, we decided to try Odettes. Upon entering the lobby of the hotel was very warm and comfortable and there was no wait at the hostess stand we let her know we've arrived for our table. We were able to grab a drink at the bar which was typically crowded for a Thursday night during the holidays. The gin martini was very tasty however there was very little room to stand and you're basically on top people trying to eat at their tables. There is lounge section with a couple of couches and chairs but they were occupied. We were seated quickly for our reservation and our server was very professional, knowledgeable and sharp. We started with the bacon appetizer and calamari which were pretty good; the food came out hot and quickly. Our server was able to recommend a nice bottle of Pinot Noir to go with our dinner. She checked on us quite often - no issues there. The menu is large and diverse - more American fare than a true steakhouse imo. They do offer "prime stakes" including a 42 oz Tomahawk Rib Eye and 32 oz Porterhouse for two. Each include a couple of sides and sauces. Here was the issues - you can see from the picture that the porterhouse for two was really disappointing. Mine was ordered medium. The filet mignon side was hardly enough for two people! It was more like one bite each...my friend and I kept coming back to this thought throughout dinner. Typically on a PH for 2, the mingnon side runs 8-10 ounces. Than New York strip side was a little under seasoned and overcooked. This runs about $125. My opinion is they should drop these prime cuts from the menu and keep it as a normal American restaurant as we won't be coming back here for the steak. Also the parking is a bit challenging there you have to drive underground and then wait for the valet which on busy nights it took us about 15 minutes to hand our keys over and then when we were done at least 20-25 minutes to get our car back at the end of the night. Oh no the atmosphere is nice there's tables for anywhere from 2 up to 12 people there are some private rooms around the side towards the bathrooms which was a little odd walking through private parties to get to the men's room but no big deal. I'm sure during the day or in the summer sitting eating on the deck overlooking the river is quite nice.

My husband and I stayed at River House at Odette’s for a fall weekend getaway, and it was incredible. Dinner at Odette’s restaurant was amazing. Everything from the cocktails to dessert was perfect and we truly enjoyed our evening. Looking forward to our return visit.

It was our 1st year wedding anniversary. The staff was so nice wishing us a happy anniversary and even surprised us with a cake. The food is very good. The atmosphere was great with the piano player. I had the filet mignon with potato puree and it was delicious. My wife had the chicken main entree and she really enjoyed it. Definite recommend.

Brunch at River House at Odette’s was outstanding! The ribeye steak is worth every penny — so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The crabcake Benedict was delicious too, and the kids’ menu has lots of great options. The vibe is cozy, luxurious, and the staff makes you feel like royalty. Plus, the river views are absolutely stunning. Can’t wait to go back!

We had such a wonderful experience at Odette’s Steakhouse! The atmosphere is warm, elevated, and welcoming, and the service was excellent. The food was outstanding. We ordered the lump crab from the raw bar, which was incredibly fresh. My friend had the scallops, and I had the crab cakes, which were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Highly recommend dining here if you’re in the area.

The staff and atmosphere were warm and welcoming, and our waitress was exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu. However, I wish I had more positive things to remark on regarding the overall experience. I was disappointed that the special occasion we were there to celebrate was never acknowledged, as I had requested. Our initial order was taken, and drinks arrived quickly, but that's where the service started to derail. Our main courses were brought out perfectly prepared, but they arrived before our salads. Unfortunately, neither the steak nor the salmon had much flavor. We both agreed that the accompanying sides—the broccoli and new potatoes—were superior in flavor to the main dishes. Service consistency declined rapidly afterward. Empty plates sat on our very tiny table without being removed prior to next course, and our drink glasses remained empty, as the wait staff seemed to disregard checking in with any frequency. It wasn't until we sat with a table full of dirty dishes that we were attended to and able to ask for a dessert menu. While my husband and I enjoyed our evening, it was due to our own company, not the quality of the food or the dining experience.

We did dinner with 4 people at Odette’s on a Saturday night. We arrived early to have some cocktails at the bar before dinner. We were pleasantly surprised that despite being packed, you could easily hang out at a high top or other various areas and enjoy a drink before dining. We asked to be seated in front of the river and the hostess made it happen. The restaurant is beautiful. Great lighting, lots of natural wood, a fireplace and situated right on the river with incredible views. All of the staff were great, attentive and knowledgeable. I did feel they could have bussed the table better in between dishes. With four people at a small table, room runs out quickly. We were left with menus, empty glasses and extra plates for extended periods leaving no room for the next item as it arrived. We did the clams in red, muscles fra diavolo, bacon and tuna tacos. The appetizers were delicious. After our appetizers we waited over an hour for our entrees. Several times our waiter swung by the table to acknowledge the wait, apologize and ensure us he was on top of the kitchen to get the items out. When our entrees arrived only one was decent. I ordered the 16oz strip medium with mashed potatoes. I also asked for the bone marrow addition, assuming I would get the bones with roasted marrow along side the steak. I received a sort of compound butter, with marrow I suppose, atop the steak. The steak was well seasoned and I love that they weren’t afraid of the salt. The temp was perfect as well. The mashed potatoes were extremely lack luster. We also ordered the gnocchi which was a complete miss. The gnocchi were tuff and rubbery, the seasoning was overpowered by pepper flake and honestly tasted like nothing else. It was dry and felt as though it was either an insanely bad preparation or was once decent but sat under a heat lamp to die. We also did a filet mignon which fell shy of medium and was slightly overcooked. Ultimately I would not return. I can excuse a wait of that magnitude if the meal hits the table and blows me away. We ordered a few bottles of wine, good convo, great view and could have finished with an impressive meal…but sadly we did not. I usually don’t, but I was honestly so stunned about that gnocchi that I said something to the waiter. A manager did come over and address our concerns, they provided a dessert of ice cream (not requested) and comped items to show their regret for the issue.

Decided to try Odettes for our anniversary. It was a beautiful Tuesday so not crowded and we sat on the outside area over looking the water. A little pricey as expected but the food was good - I wasn't blown away but everything was tasty. I had the Halibut, it was delicious on its own, but it came with a sauce, I found it weird that they plated it on the opposite side of the fish under the potatoes which made it hard to eat together but that was just my observation. My only complaint would be the staff. I felt like everyone we encountered wasn't knowledgeable about the menu. Any question I asked they didn't know the answer to (and I was just asking basic questions) and even when the food runner brought out our dishes they didn't even know what was on the plate. Def something they should work on to better educate servers and food staff about.

Had a very nice brunch here. For starters beautiful space along the river with great views of your lucky enough to have a window seat. We stared with three cocktails Bloody Mary, dirty chai , and an autumn mule. All were boozy and garnished beautifully. The brunch menu has some breakfast and lunch options for every palate, budget and size. They also have a flight of pancakes which gives you a sampling of the different flavors they offer. We asked the waiter what the most popular items on the menu were and he said the "bennys". We ordered the crab benny, a filet mignon French dip , and river house Benedict. The Benedict's were presented well and served warm with a generous portion of breakfast potatoes. The crab cake was full of crab meat and not just breading. The river house was served with prosciutto instead of traditional ham giving a saltier taste to the dish. We ordered the French toast as a share plate for the table and agreed that was the star of the show. The sweet flavors and well done presentation made the dish delish. The filet mignon French dip had the option of fries and side salad opted for the fries ... the fries were coated and delicious. The French dip has rough thick slices of filet mignon on a baguette served with horseradish cream sauce and au jus. This was a different take with tender meat and I liked the upgrade. We made a reservation online for brunch but there were never more than 3 parties in the restaurant at any given time. Perhaps it's not too popular yet. You must try this spot if you're traveling through New Hope and need a new spot. It's prettier than the average restaurant in New Hope and definitely better quality. There are three reasons for the 4 not 5 stars because it's all about the packaging. This is in a hotel lobby when you get there you are obligated to use valet parking. They don't offer a self parking option. This was an extra expense and annoyance that wasn't necessary, the empty restaurant is always an apprehension, lastly the price point is higher than average brunch. It was more elevated space so expect that going in. 171.00 for 3 people all in including gratuity ... add 5.00 for valet and a tip to the valet. Overall we would return given the quality of the food and the good service. Hoping it becomes an option for others and catches on!

Our waiter, Ambar was amazing! The food was average - not just for the price - it was mediocre. The Sunday night bartender (and I drink) was off her game - cocktails were sub par Upon reflecting a few hours after - aside from the nice server - I was way too polite above.

I had been waiting for an excuse to come to Odette's since I know it is on the fancier side, so my birthday was the perfect time to try it Everything I ate was amazing! They make so many things in house including their pear juice for their cocktails and their own HAND MADE icecream It was incredible. You must try the peanut butter cheesecake and mint chocolate chip icecream! On top of all of this there was a violinist playing pop music, so I felt like I was in a Bridgerton episodeAnd they even brought me a complimentary birthday cupcake!! It was such a nice gesture. When you go, PLEASE make sure to ask for Anthony Bullard! He went above and beyond for me and my family.

We came here for our anniversary and the establishment is beautiful! We opted to have a drink at the bar before dinner and I really wish we didn't because it set a negative tone for the rest of the evening. The bar is small with way too many chairs and I honestly felt bad for the bartenders cause it didn't seem they had enough space to work in. However when you watch a bartender eat olives right out of the container in front of the 6-8 people sitting at the bar , your expectations go down, significantly. They also kept a reusable water bottle and ice coffee on the bar which I was staring at the whole time, tsk tsk. We were never asked if we wanted a second drink but flagged down the get the bill to move to our table. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was very salty! Not inedible we ate all of it but way over salted. The burrata however was subpar! Tomato with store bought mozzarella I can make at home. When there are at least two places with the same beautiful ambiance and better food and service I would skip this one.

Nice atmosphere, our server was nice, we ordered the special appetizer the long hots which were very tasty, Caesar salad dressing was very good, slightly over dressed but I wasn't mad about it. My friend ordered the filet French dip and it was amazing loads of meat and the cheese and bun were perfect. I got the halibut it was dry and the sauce was a bit too sweet. The potatoes didn't taste like much of anything. Next time I would get that sandwich

Odette's is one of the reasons we moved to the area all the way from Los Angeles. We stayed here summer of 2022. We didn't dine in during that stay, so we came here for our anniversary dinner after our first 6 months as PA residents. The staff is fantastic. The food is very good. The ambiance is timeless contemporary. We ate outside and highly recommend requesting an outdoor table. Inside there is almost always live music. I watched someone at the bar buy and bring the piano man a drink. Impeccable vibes. Odette's is one of the best spots in New Hope to eat and to stay. There are a lot of harsh reviews that I find to be unfair and tasteless. The truth is that Odette's is the best of the best. We'll be back very soon!

Absolutely perfectly cooked steak. Would highly recommend this place! Staff was great, and the restaurant has a rustic but modern vibe to it which is nice. Will definitely be back when in the area!

I love this area. When we had the chance to spend Christmas over in the area I found this place to eat and we came here. It was the perfect Christmas night dinner. There was a person playing the piano and it was just perfect. Service was also great for a holiday. Food was delicious.

Had appetizers and drinks and desserts here last night - everything was great! First, the view of the river was amazing. The drinks were unique and delicious. We got the seafood pot, wings and oysters appetizers - the wings were ok - the rest were great!. We liked the drinks and appetizers so much here that we came back after having a terrible dinner at Goldstone Steakhouse (don't go!) to have desserts. When we came back the place was hopping and they had great piano music. The desserts were fantastic - got the strawberry tres leche cake and the blueberry yellow butter cake. Both were great. FYI, you need to valet your car to eat here so plan on that plus $10 that they require.

Came to Odette's for Father's Day. A treat for the hubby, however I felt like it was treat for me. I'm a sucker for ambience and beautiful views. This was our first time and it lived up to our expectations. The place is beautiful inside and out. We started off with two Moscow mules. As a appetizer we went with the skillet of cornbread and devil eggs. We are folks who don't eat everyone's devil eggs...but these devil eggs were so silky smooth with the right seasoning. Our entrees were the scallops and the bacon wrapped meat loft. I noticed some of the reviews many complained about the cost, we didn't have a problem paying for good service, excellent food with beautiful décor and a fabulous view. Couldn't end this without giving kudo's to our server Tony. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, great with suggestions and was attentive to our needs. He took care of us and made us feel welcomed. Thanks Odette's and Tony for making our experience memorable. You'll see us again.

Not as good as last visit. When the reservation was made for 6 people at the table, WHY would they bring a basket of 4 rolls? When the soup was New England clam chowder, what was the deal with the shredded chicken and minimal clams? The server was so interested with the table next to us that we waited for 15 minutes for her to check our satisfaction or anything else. Not at all to the level we experienced on a prior visit. For such a beautiful place, what a great disappointment.

Came here for brunch yesterday and had a pretty good time. First, Google Maps directed us to the exit of the hotel / restaurant, which was a little awkward since the gate wouldn't open and I had to get back on the main road, do a U-turn, and drive back to the entrance :) Whoops! Anyway, after successfully taking the correct route, I realized that the restaurant was valet only. The valet ended up being free (we came on a Tuesday) but I would have definitely docked the restaurant at least one star if the valet was $20 as other reviewers are reporting. That is pretty insane and I would have been super annoyed if I had to pay such a steep valet fee, but I guess we got lucky :) Anyway, we were seated immediately and our server did a decent job throughout the meal. I got the pork roll and my wife got the avocado toast, and I think we both enjoyed our meals a fair bit, although my side of potatoes were a little flavorless (needed more salt and/or to be cooked in something tasty, not sure). The beer selection was fine but nothing crazy. Perhaps the nicest part of the meal was the excellent view of the water. Overall, given the scary potential valet fee and the wealth of other nearby restaurants, we may not be back, but I think if you visit on a weekday, you'll have a pretty good time here!

Great brunch spot in New Hope! Love the rooftop deck for yummy cocktails as well. We stayed at the hotel which was really beautiful and our suite was decked out. Pricey but a great place to visit and dine.

If you're looking for an extraordinary dining experience at a reasonable price, you should keep looking. This was quite ordinary food at ridiculous pricing. Your adventure starts when you pull in and are required to valet park at a cost of $20 with no option to park elsewhere. I did look over the online menu before I reserved and had an expectation for the cost but no mention of a special price fix meal at $95 a person due to this being the weekend prior to Valentines Day. There were 5 appetizer options and 5 main options on the menu along with 2 desserts. My wife had the cocktail shrimp appetizer to start. We looked at each other and laughed when this came to the table as it consisted of 3 rather average size shrimps. I had a tiny bowl of average tasting cauliflower soup. For the main I had the Salmon over rice with oyster mushrooms. The oyster mushrooms were good and the salmon with rice was quite average. My wife's main was the pasta dish with shrimp which was ok but not anything better than we could put together at home in 15 minutes. The desserts came as soon as the entrees were finished. We weren't even offered coffee. We were in and out in under an hour and about $300 lighter. This was quite an institutional experience. The place is beautiful and a lovely location right on the river but I'm a once and done diner here as there are so many better options in the area. Over all an exceedingly underwhelming experience. Poor options, poor service, poor pricing. Poor me, I ate there! P.S. if you're wondering why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1, it's because I want to remind them of their mediocrity.

My wife and I ventured to Odette's for a celebratory dinner. Valet service ($10) is the only option based on location. From the parking garage you take an elevator up one floor to the restaurant and hotel entrance. The restaurant is well decorated, and the view of the Delaware river is awesome. We checked in on our reservation and was taken to our table. The table was next to a window on the street side of the building. It was drafty so I asked if we could be moved to a small table for 2 on the back side of the restaurant. I was told it was reserved for later reservation. I asked why couldn't the later take our table and we take the available table. I was told that is not an option but if you want to sit in the bar on a high top we could move there. I turned down the not-so-great offer. Five minutes later the hostess comes over and offers us the table next to the one I asked for originally, so we move. After we move, we wait 15 minutes before a server addresses us. Not such a great start as far as we are concerned. I review the wine list and order a bottle. I have to say the wine list is impressive with over 200 bottles to choose from, most ranging in the $100 to $350 range. We ordered dinner a porterhouse for two to share. It comes with 2 salads and 2 vegetables. Salads come out transported by a food runner. A recommendation here for the restaurant. When bringing a Caesar salad to a table bring a pepper mill with you. We asked for some pepper, so the runner notified our waiter, and he showed up 7 minutes later with the pepper mill. Next out comes the porter house ordered Pittsburg Medium. The steak comes pre-sliced which was expected when ordering a steak for two. Since it was sliced the server, or the cook should have noticed the strip side was rare and the filet side was cooked correctly. We ate it as is without making a fuse. Worth noting, whoever sliced the steak did a terrible job. The filet side came out in chucks and the strip side was large slices making the pieces hard to chew. The grilled asparagus was boiled first and mushy inside before grill marks were added, the potato had a large brown spot which was obvious since it was sliced in half. The restaurant is just pushing food out without any pride on content. Overall, I would rate the restaurant a 3 out 5 with the highlight on décor with a small negative on noise. Service and hospitality would be 3 and the food itself would be 2 based on my notes above.

I went to brunch at Odette's a couple of weeks ago for the first time, and I'm honestly surprised at all the negative reviews. I have no complaints and nothing bad to say about my experience. The view of the water is beautiful, the brunch cocktails were delicious (highly recommend the Bloody Mary), the food was good, and the staff was extremely friendly. It's the perfect place to eat when your spending the day in New Hope! Im looking forward to going back.

Great ambiance but a very youthful, unorganized and unprofessional staff, some of whom were gathered at the hostess podium when we entered, joking around and not very quick to recognize us. Dishes were served haphazardly, brought out one or two at a time for a larger party. This may be good for couples or a smaller gathering. Valet parking crew is unprofessional and the "text in advance so your car is ready" system didn't work. The place didn't "wow" me and I don't have any desire to go back anytime soon. Beautiful views of the river.

We went to a wedding here which they underhired bartenders for. Other than that the food was decent and the staff were friendly. The after party was on the roof top. It was one of the hottest days recorded in Earth's history (really) and the rooftop bar was charging guests $5 for (small) rocks glasses of anything coming from the soda gun, such as seltzer water. Under the circumstances, we felt this was a little ludicrous, especially since there were plenty of older guests and a few pregnant women. It was an absolutely scorching hot day. It's possible the bartender was just pocketing the $5 and this is not the bar's policy but that remains to be seen. As someone who has bartended all through college, I've never charged guests to stay hydrated on soda gun water, especially when the group is spending money like mad on cocktails and beers. This felt like a shady money grab.

Great food and fantastic service. Our server Ryan was awesome. He made great suggestions, and took the time to answer all of our questions. Totally will be back soon!

Nice ambiance, ok service but the food? I honestly had to pinch myself and look around several times. I felt like I was on pranked, people actually LIKE this food? I'm still in shock, it's like a fever dream. Dry, flavorless, hair in food... I can't even spend another minute thinking about the utter disappointment that is this restaurant. NEVER AGAIN

Had lunch on Sunday 10-22-2023 at 12 noon with my son and his future father-in-law, everybody we encountered was very pleasant, the service was excellent, the food was good, was a little high priced, this is your above average restaurant/Hotel which also offers rooms for events, a nice bar, a piano bar by two persons that were playing at the time, very spacious Place, my chicken BLT and fries were excellent, They also offer valet parking

I am posting a review to complain about the horrible experience my family and I had at this restaurant. I demand a refund or at least a credit to us so you can properly fix it and try again. As I showed up we were not offered any comfortable wait area and did not have our coats taken and stored in a coat closet. Secondly we waited a long time to get our reserved table and had to sit and be tortured with the terrible pianist if that's what you call him who looked drunk and edematous. It would have been better to listen to the cheap pandora with commercials. As we ordered, we were not served water and when I begged for ice water, I received a warm glass of tap water. The kids waited a while for their food and we were told we had to sit at the high table that our little kids had to climb up the chairs and dangerously sit on super high chairs. The wine is cheap and it sucked! We then ordered a wedge salad and it was in dressing soup and there was no bacon chopped on top like it's supposed to be served. We were cheated out of a side as well with our main meals. When the filet mignon came out it was cold, dry as hell and they did not bring the Bernaise sauce I asked for. When I asked for the sauce, it took 20 minutes to get it. At this point we just wanted to leave. When we received the check we were charged 3 ice creams and a cheesecake we did not order or get. We were over charged for the steak and believe the bald waiter with facial hair goatee and mustache pocketed the money. I would like a full refund for the horrible experience. I will be reaching out to the manager today.

The food here was good. But our experience was ruined when we learned we were charged $40 for each of our drinks! The waiter, instead of suggesting reasonably priced liquors for our mixed drink, first offered us an incredibly expensive one. Not knowing much about this drink, we accepted. When I asked for a manager to speak to, he didn't come out for 15 minutes. And even after that, it took another 20 minutes of complaining to get half off our $40 drinks. We felt duped and may never come to Odette's again.

Hi, I was looking forward to going to Odette's with friends, but was unaware that you had to pay for mandatory valet parking. By the time we parked our cars we were already had paid $60.00 before we had walked in the door! I was so upset, that my meal was already ruined! I was not made aware of that policy when I made my booking! I feel that is excessive and that is part of the reason I won't be going back!

Strike two. Crab cocktail fishy, lobster tail fishy. Filet cooked well but zero seasoning. Simply not worth the money. I don't ever mind paying for quality food. This falls short of that. The seafood is mediocre. Sorry, just because you are expensive, doesn't mean you are quality. Skip the parking nightmare and party club atmosphere and go to The Black Bass. Its just north of New Hope on the same road. Much more atmosphere and ambience. Much better food. Actually not as expensive either.

Lunch was good but overpriced- valet parking sucks and it is just stupid. Restaurant not as beautiful as the pictures, it's really a tourist trap we found out from locals that it is just that !

Went to the room top and immediately after leaving had someone steal our credit card information and charge over $600 on hair weaves. Still waiting on a manger to call us back. BTW rooftop access is $1000 membership. We went with a friend. Will not be joining nor retuning.

I was excited to take my family to Odette's. The decor and view are beautiful but our food took almost an hour to arrive and when it did it was cold. I hope they figure out the restaurant because they have a gem if they can get it right!

Don't waste your money. This place was a huge disappointment. First they force you to valet for $20. Which is insane because you have no option to self park. When we ordered I asked my salad to be split on two plates and waitress said kitchen was too busy.I also asked for dressing on the side and it came out drenched in dressing. I had like two bites and my entree came. As did everyone's else's except my sister who waited at least 7-10 mins for hers. Really?! I was shocked no one offered to comp anything.

We absolutely loved our stay. All of the food and cocktail options, the music, the room, the rooftop deck... we loved it all. And it's easily walkable to the downtown fun. We did have one hiccup... our room wasn't fully cleaned but when we called they sent someone right away and redid the whole room. We would definitely come back.

Very good spot for lunch, let's address the elephant in the room - the views! Spectacular outdoor dining on the river. It's beautiful, too, to hear the calming sound of the gentle flow of water during the meal. Everything is super polished and tastefully done. I like the idea of the valet at the door, very comforting, relaxing experience all around. They take care of you and you can tell that this is a welcoming, hotel establishment. I was impressed with the interior design and décor. The design was tasteful, with a heavy emphasis on wood, which is apropos to the environs, however, it was modern, open, light and airy at the same time. Some splendid choices of color in the upholstery and art aid in differentiation from the overdone farm-everything zeitgeist. Service was impressive. Extremely affable and seasoned with a good command of the menu and drinks list, as well as a comforting warm demeanor. The lunch area is spacious with again wonderful views of the river and canal, and it's a boon to the restaurant and its clientele that one can mange outdoors while viewing the wildlife and tranquilly swaying willow trees. Everything was in full bloom so we picked a choice time to dine. Food was good. Let's be frank, New Hope struggles to elevate its cuisine above the plethora of bar-cum-pub food that populate the main strip. Odette's make a valiant attempt at updating the menu with many lighter plates, a profusion of colors, tastes, and a leaning toward the premium, yet healthy. That said, certain aspects were not as popping as I might want at such a fine dining restaurant; the greens could have been fresher, and the mashed avocado was okay. Little touches such as fine linen and silverware elevate the dining experience (in addition to the wood furniture and comfortable chairs); however, lack of a bread service or crackers to enjoy with the beverages is a touch discordant. One other note, there is a club-membership available for the roof lounge. It is likely an even further elevated experience (heh), and I imagine a very good networking opportunity. Odette's draws a sophisticated, diverse crowd and they should do well in their rarefied space.

Not a great first dinning impression and based on our experience last night I'm thankful we didn't go for the $7,500 Refined Club Card membership invitation. First off the restaurant looks very much ala Westin hotel. Lots of money put in but little charm. And an odd mix given the TV's above the bar showing network sports programming on a Saturday night so you get to see the odd Fast food commercials while your trying to enjoy a touted fine dining experience. Even though the building is situated along the river, most of the tables inside are alongside or facing the brick walls. Unlike the photos they have on the website. The initial reception was snooty. Even though we had a dinner reservation made almost a month ago, we were initially seated in what can be described as a cocktail area. The food itself was very ordinary. The Caesar salad looked interesting but lacked taste. The mushroom flatbread was almost burnt. My short ribs were incredibly dry. And my husband's tuna tasted a bit off. Plus both at the high end of pricing. The valet situation is also cumbersome. $20 is added to your bill. Plus you get the pleasure of waiting about 15 minutes outdoors to retrieve your car once you ready to leave. The only positives was my martini. Though my husband complained that his "rolling river" cocktail lacked minimal alcohol. Our waiter was professional and you could tell a pro at his job. We did overhear him mention to another table that he is one of two original employees since the place opened. So, lots of turnover apparently. All in all we will not be back. The food is mediocre, too much of a hassle with the valet situation, and the overall welcoming vibe is non existent.

let me say the staff is the best. They are extremely polite. Even when a customer was overly rude and disrespectful, the entire staff was right on top of his every complaint and worked to resolve things quickly. The new menu is great as well. I love the variety and selections. Although I miss the escargot. I was not overly impressed with my orders. Although I will say my two guests were very pleased with their meals. I ordered the crab cocktail, the oysters Rockefeller, and the steamed clams. I also ordered the side of sauteed lobster. The steamers where a little bigger than I am used to and rather tough. I used to be a clammer and do love steamed clams. I prefer the traditional "steamer clam", or more commonly called long neck or soft shell. When not available, I prefer smaller, sweeter clams like buttons or little necks. These were more of the top neck size. I was impressed with the amount or size of the crab cocktail, but it was a little fishy tasting and smelling. Not much, but some. I was disappointed in the oysters Rockefeller. They just weren't that good. Flavorless with very little oyster. The sauteed lobster was pretty good, but I am always very displeased when any restaurant uses the rubbery claw tip in food. Just poor practice. Yes, it is pricey, but good food always is. It is a nice atmosphere, incredible staff, great variety. Hopefully they will tweak the recipes some. I will give it another shot, knowing this was the first week with a new menu.

It was 530p on a Saturday and we came for a meal with another couple. We have not dined here before although we did have a prior reservation that we had to cancel. Others we know have spoke highly about the place. Driving in was easy you go right to the valet and the lower level parking area, by the River. An elevator ride to the restaurant level 1. We pressed R but later found out that was the rooftop private club. We reported to the hostess who promptly sat us in the bistro area right by the window - a lovely view. Seating looked about 50% with plenty of spacing. All staff were masked. Jesse our server arrived and we ordered drinks and some of the dips with focaccia bread. The dips were good and the bread was delicious. The ambiance was wonderful. Very nice and comfortable. A lot of space. I had a van sant cocktail. Quite good and not the type of drink I typically order. I ordered a second. For mains my wife got the short ribs and I got the gigli pasta. Our friends got scallops and the duck. The short ribs and duck were excellent. My pasta was unremarkable. The scallops came cold. A bit of a shocker. They were sent back and after a while a newly prepared scallop dish was presented. This one was very good. This is not a Service demerit but a kitchen issue. Although some would say the server should be checking the mains before serving. Finish with some coffee and an espresso. No dessert. Total cost ~$360. All in all a good experience. Food "b", service "a-", ambiance "a", value "c". We would return. Mark & Nancy.

Beautiful setting. Frittata was bland. Needed more flavoring for sure. Service was fine.

We came here for lunch on Saturday. It was only $5 for the valet. Wasn't really needed though as we literally pulled in front of the parking spot. I can understand why other Yelpers are not happy about paying $20 for it. The food was actually good. Lobster roll + truffle fries was only $22. It tasted good much better deal than eating at La La Lobster in Yardley. The Interior was of course beautiful and service was on spot. I would definitely recommend going there at least for a lunch.

Skip this place. We had a reservation for our anniversary and called to request a table with a river view - they put us right behind the hostess stand. At the end of April and the menu was all heavy winter dishes - meatloaf, short ribs, bolognese. No spring ingredients. I asked to see a bourbon list - since when are Crown Royal and Southern Comfort bourbon? The crab cakes were cold in the middle - tasted like they had been prepared days earlier and warmed briefly. We will never return

Food is tasty but ridiculously overpriced. Wine list does not offer anything in a reasonable range, even when requesting house wine. Burgers, salad and soup with our wine was over $300- $400 including tip. We were stuck with not many options but definitely come prepared. No appetizers, no desserts, no steak- absolutely shocking prices.

This place is a little overrated. The food is good but it's over priced. Our waitress was excellent and there was a violinist that was amazing. The escargots were fantastic, but the rest of the food was average.

Been a couple times for brunch, lunch, and dinner - we love it! Love the decor and ambiance. Surprised there aren't more guests whenever we go. Their lobster roll is pricey but it's definitely meaty and luxurious. Also, love the live music during dinner!

This is the first negative review I have offered, two stars, one for the staff, trying to keep it going, one for our waiter, a super nice gentleman doing his best. Yes, I know we're just getting out of COVID-19, yes, they have been open for less than a year, but this was our second visit, and it's on the brink of the "banned for life" tag! Besides the parking complaint, as seen in other reviews, (I am actually unsure if I was charged $20 twice), the drinks and the food was sub par to say the least. My wife had a cocktail, If the drink is $18, it better be something else. Besides a dried out lime that looked like it had been around for a few evenings, the mint sprig looked like a small tree. I stuck with a draft local "rotating " ale, it was skunky, someone needed to decide to move onto the next barrel. The escargot appetizer was DROWNED in over cooked, broken butter. The actual meat of the snail was deep below the shimmering surface. When it arrived, first thought was that there was no escargot, they may have forgotten them or delivered to another table. We also ordered the crab and sweet potato bisque, it arrived thermonuclear hot, and since the portion was quite small, it evaporated after only a few spoon scoops. Actually, it tasted good, but for the price, and the quantity, it was about $2 per spoon. It almost rivals a famous small soup serving, offered by another Hunterdon County "Inn" , but I'm not going there , they hit the banned for life list many years ago. For the main course, my wife had the bass dish, it lacked flavor, and a side "herbed butter smashed marble potato" was served as roasted fingerlings that were in a cast iron dish, dry, and butter free (perhaps the escargot took all the butter allowed for one ticket?) My cardiologist thanks the kitchen, but my tastebuds we're feeling left out. I chose the short rib dish, I should have paused with the "lollipop" in the title, but the "caraway mustard jus" made me go for it, and it was a very poor choice. There was no jus, just no jus, just dried out beef wrapped on a bone. The asparagus was undercooked, but at least not dry like the meat. We agreed to give River House at Odettes one more try in the future , with friends, to be sure we have a good evening insurance card, and will post if they whack the Banned for Life list, or turn back from the abyss!

I'm not one to write a bad review but I just had to comment about the food at Odettes. I was so excited to take my mom here for her bday, beautiful atmosphere but the food was just subpar. Sorry to say but every single thing we ordered off the menu was just mediocre. At least the ambiance was nice but that's about it. Will not be going back for dinner but maybe just for drinks.

Nice atmosphere. Meal was average and first time around one dish needed to be replaced. Good service. But why $20 just to park???

I really wanted to love this place and yet sadly it was mediocre at best. The physical space is absolutely beautiful which made me want to love our meal even more. The service was fine and the drinks weren't the best but they were at least strong for the price. The food was just lacking. We ordered quite a bit. Caesar salad-this was lacking depth and truly felt as if I was at my local pub eating it. It was nothing special at all. Cornbread- it was dry and the butter stuff on top had an odd taste, almost like stale pipe water. Escargot- the garlic butter it was in was delicious. The snails were fine but would have preferred a different presentation. Tuna tacos- the shell was greasy and had that greasy flavor which took away from the tuna. The pappardelle was not cooked. The pasta was clearly pulled too soon and was inedible. And who doesn't offer fresh grated cheese for a pasta? The scallops weren't seared and were just fine. The steak frites had what looked like 3 tablespoons of butter right on top. Unsalted butter and literally just sat on top adding absolutely nothing to the dish. The steak wasn't seasoned well and was lacking salt. I'm pretty sure I cook a better one at home. Salmon was fine but the Brussels sprouts weren't cut well. You have to take the stem off the Brussels otherwise it is very difficult to chew. Again, I make better ones at home. The meatloaf was the star of the night, although I didn't try it those at the table who did said it was delicious. For the price of the meal I expect better quality and to be licking my plate. Ferry&Main had better quality food and I wasn't blown away by them either. You're paying for the atmosphere so I would recommend to come for drinks and then head to Stella or somewhere else in New Hope to get your meal.

Odette's is a great addition to New Hope's culinary lineup. Don't let the expensive hotel valet parking scare you. They only charge $5 for breakfast, brunch or lunch. We paid about what we expected for three. The food was delicious and the service was incredibly warm and friendly. I can't recommend the Apple Pancake enough! It's not what you would expect of a pancake. It's simply amazing! We will definitely return, perhaps for dinner.

My wife stayed at the river house for a little getaway. We got a nice package and decided to eat at odettes when we arrived. The service was attentive and pleasant. Both Hanna and Ray were great , as stated attentive and pleasant but not overbearing. The hotel and restaurant are beautiful and a woman was playing an electric violin. We started off with the mushroom bisque which was excellent and I had the chilled seafood with lobster , shrimp, mussels and a crabmeat avocado mixture. I loved it all very fresh and taste Then came the short rib in a bordelaise sauce with Brussel sprouts. Cooked to perfection. We could have had 5lbs of those sprouts I had the ny strip with truffle Parmesan fries with a creamy horseradish sauce. I generally do not get a ny strip as I prefer a fattier steak. This was an exception and had a great taste for a cut that general is lacking, the fries were phenomenal. Love the creamy horseradish as well The only negative was the price .... yikes! But as long as the food and service is good I won't complain. Highly recommended
