Oedipus Brewing

After a lively afternoon at the Sail Festival, we took the ferry F1 and wandered over to this stylish brewery. The beers were refreshingly creative, infused with lemongrass, pepper, and other spices that added a funky twist while staying smooth and elegant. Kimchi fries made the perfect pairing: bold, tangy, and addictive. What sealed the experience was the glassware, we first spotted one of their feather-dotted glasses in a Rotterdam craft shop, which reminded us of our birds back home. That little connection made the visit feel personal and memorable.

My favourite brewery in Amsterdam. I've always been a big fan of Oedipus and now I finally got to visit their brewery, it definitely did not dissapoint! They got a huge list of beers on tap, including their classics but also many obscure brews. The prices are very fair for a specialty brewery, although lines at the bar can be long. The place itself is nicely decorated, has great music and is really big & spacious, you never feel crampted. They also got a sjoel table and multiple table football tables (of which 1 is free). They also work in collaboration with a burger joint located on the brewerie's grounds. The burgers are the best I've ever had in the Netherlands, the line for these can also be long though. Overall its a great place to have a night out. Even if you dont life close, the metro line is within a 10 minute walk. It's definitely worth visiting!

It is truly magnificent here. Very cool, artsy and relaxing vibe. A lot of bands playing every week, good burgers and of course excellent beers. Good for a party but also just relaxing with kids. Highly recommended!

I have been going to oedipus since its earliest days and until now I have always been torn between commenting or not commenting with mixed feelings. As of my last visit, I am sure of what I think and I would like to mention some points based on years of experience. First of all, the most negative experience is that a company in the service sector has no idea about service. The kitchen is in constant chaos and most of the time they can't manage it, so they solve this problem by not taking your order for 30-60 minutes. There seems to be only 2 service staff in such a big place. reservation management is very bad. While they don't take reservations on Google, they must be taking reservations from other places because every time you go there are reserved tables. Sometimes there can be a wait of up to 1 hour to order or to be seated. other than that, the beers and food they offer are good, of course if you can order.

One the the best burgers in Amsterdam Noord. Great ambiance, amazing beers. Seemed its a brewery.

Very nice brewery just north of the city center. Short free ferry trip over and a little walk. Super cool place. Great selection of their own beers. Great burgers. Plenty of seating inside and outside.

Delicious beers and lovely staff. We highly recommend the man love beer, the sichuan pepper really shines through. The burgers also looked and smelled amazing, sadly we did not try them out. The atmosphere is really pleasant.

What a wonderful little Oasis in Amsterdam Noord! Great selection of beers, both from the tap and can/bottle. The staff was incredibly nice and the overall vibe of the place was awesome! And the beef chief makes some of the best burgers! Perfect combo!
