Off Tha Bone BBQ

For my first time I’d give 3 1/2 stars but I’d definitely go back on a day and time that’s busier. Today I went a hr before closing and only had rib tips or chicken. The tips were kinda tough on some and expected fall off bone but the sauce was great and so was the Mac and cheese but the pigeon peas was dry. They only had one dessert left the red velvet cake 😍 OMG it’s the best!!! very moist and nice size. Perhaps some items was off because of it being end of night. I’m thinking Sunday is the best day before 7pm can’t wait to try more items ****Update 3/18 I like to thank the owner because I did go back this time in the afternoon BUT I will come back on a Sunday! The staff/chef was very helpful answering all my questions and friendly too. I got the ribs as he suggested and Mac and cheese, potato salad. This time I got cornbread I didn’t get any last time and it is perfect. Ribs were good especially the BBQ sauce the mixed one. The potato salad wasn’t my favorite BUT every family has their own version! Had to get the Red Velvet again it’s addictive. Definitely coming back to try on a Sunday with a expanded menu availability 😋

The chicken sandwich was so good. It was tender and juicy definitely not dry. could tell it was cooked fresh. Definitely will be back next time in town. seriously a lot of meat for the price , wanted to fight my boyfriend for throwing away my leftovers

First time visiting on 7/18/25. The young man who took my order was very professional and recommended to me the sauce for BBQ. Food was hot, ribs did fall OFF THE BONE! That Mac n Cheese was on point.The collars had a bit too much vinegar for me, left a slight after test for me, but still good to my son. The price for 3 dinners was reasonable ( rib tip, BBQ and BBQ chicken dinner). The sweet potatoe pie was very good! I will be making this trip from Belle Glade (hour plus drive) again. 9.5/10... Happy customer!

I placed the orders online and made my way to the restaurant. We ordered the $5 Wednesday special (chicken, fries, and drink) and the rib dinner with macaroni and baked beans. Once I got to the restaurant, I unfortunately found out that someone else had mistakenly picked up my orders. ODB was extremely apologetic, made my orders fresh, and even offered a free dessert. Once I got the plates back to the hotel, let me tell you. They don't mess around with portion size. You will be full! The ribs literally fell off the bones. So tender and delicious. The sides were good. The fries weren't that great. Could be because it was a 20 minute drive back to the hotel. Chicken was dark meat but not as juicy as I would have expected. If I were in the area again, I'd 100% go back. Good food. Good prices. Great service.

The food is so good that delivery drivers keep stealing my food. It has happened 3 TIMES!! I DONT HAVE A CAR!! I JUST WANT THE FOOD! One time, a random homeless man pretended to be my father and tricked the delivery driver into giving him my food! I DO NOT KNOW THAT MAN. DO NOT GIVE MY FOOD TO ANYONE THAT'S NOT ME?!

2nd time visiting, 4/16/2024, the food was not as good but the service was excellent. I decided to get the chicken and ribs (19.99). You get 2 sides but if fries there is an extra charge. They put rib tips and ribs on plate but that’s not what menu states. The rib tips didn’t taste good, at all; too much fat on them. I really didn’t enjoy the food as much this time. The sauce on meat was very skimpy and I paid additional money for sauce on fries, a total of $23 for a a small to go plate. They didn’t have turkey this time either and had just opened. Soring 2023: This was THE BEST BBQ I have ever eaten! I ordered the chicken dinner ($13.99) and my friend ordered greens!! After she tasted my chicken she decided to call in an order for ribs. OMG, the band fits because the chicken and ribs fell OFF THE BONE! The sweet and tangy sauce has a name but I forgot. It’s the best seller and I see why because it’s perfect! The staff (Tiffany and cook) we’re very friendly and patient. This was our first time and it seems we took 5-10 minutes to order. We googled and it had 4 stars and but it should have 5 stars or more. As we waited for our order there were many coming to pick up orders and now I see why! They were out of cake but a gentleman told us they are delicious. The fries and macaroni and cheeses were very good! To be honest, everything was superb!!! I kept eating even after being full of that says anything! I just didn’t want to stop! No worries about safety as there were no issues. I highly recommend this restaurant if you have a taste for BBQ.

The got my order wrong and I'm glad they did! I Door Dashed the Rib Dinner with Mac and Greens with an extra side of Mac and Greens (because I had a feeling they were going to be kickin). Instead they gave me pigeon pea rice and baked beans, both 100% excellent. So I'm not even mad because I got to try their other sides. Got the tangy sauce on the ribs and was in heaven. The baked mac is GOURMET. You can taste at least 3 different cheeses, and I'm going to guess they use more than that. The only critical thing I have to say is about the collards, and those still tastes great. I just found them to be over salted and not cooked long enough. But that criticism isn't enough to even put a ding in this 5 star review. I'd give it more stars if I could. BBQ like this is why I'm never going to be a skinny person, looking forward to ordering again.

I got the Turkey Leg dinner w/ Swt Tea, 9/10, my sister said 10/10. I walked in to pick up, got my order pretty quick at the counter with sweets out & the menu above, ideal for a take out spot. Overall 9.5/10, exquisite consistent soul food.

Boiled meat aint BBQ, its OvenQ which is a scam upon the people. Real Pitmasters BBQ on a real Pit. They don't boil the meat and then claim its BBQ. They'd run Off Da Oven out of Texas with his BBQ. Real BBQ doesn't need Sauce at all.

This place is off the beaten path, shout out to Yelp cause otherwise I would have never turned off Palm Beach Lakes to venture down the street. And it was on a Sunday so my smart (greedy) ass decided to order two meals, the everyday offerings (chicken & ribs plate) and Sunday only (smothered pork chops). The establishment is a hole in the wall, takeout place. It was hot as hell in there, idk how they do it. The lady at the order counter was nice, told her it was my first time and she recommended sides. One of which was the candied yams cause they only have em on Sunday. I didn't like them at all. Other sides I got were mac and cheese and collards with cornbread. They were pretty good. As far as the meats, the helping of chicken and ribs were nice. I went with the combined bbq sauce she recommended and it was a nice compliment to the bbq. Unfortunately for me, it was only on top. My bottom pieces of meat could have used more sauce. The smothered chops were my favorite; nice and tender. Only recommendation is those candied yams (maybe it's just me or I got an off day) and thankfully the ceiling fan wasn't running cause it could use a dusting but not while my food being made lol

I haven't been here in a minute for breakfast but this morning I wanted a real breakfast so I decided to stop by!!! This plate NEVER disappoints! I was there for about 30 minutes....not waiting on my food though. I was in there catching up on life with "family"! Forever grateful for this spot and the people in it!!!!

The food is delicious and fresh. Now my first time ordering was disappointing but I can tell the food had potential. So I decided to try them again and I was right the food was delicious I even got some friends to order at the same time. The greens are seasoned and the meat fell off the bone very good soft this is my go-to barbecue spot from now on.

Local neighborhood joint with good BBQ and sides that were tasty as well. Macaroni and Cheese (the day we purchased) was a little crispy/burnt but the greens and baked beans were delicious. Cornbread was good too. Strawberry Lemonade/Tea/Beverage (etc.) was to sweet for me but it was refreshing after I placed it in the fridge and let the ice melt. Service was friendly on both days. Next time around I want to try the Pork Chops, though they only sell on Sundays. Respectfully Reviewed

Love loved the BBQ here. We have been looking for a good BBQ spot. Came across this location in our hunt. Was not disappointed. The rib was juicy and tender. The pull pork was delicious and juicy. Everything was delicious and wonderful. Again no disappointment here. Will be going back for the Grandmas Smothered pork chops very soon.

This place is amazing. The food is good. My favorite is the turkey leg. The service is always friendly.

Amazing find driving to MIA. Quick, messily delicious and worth every penny and mile to get there!! Sad they didn't have pulled pork but the food was so darn good I can see why they ran out!! This is a must try!

A few hiccups but they more than made up for order. Checked out the place for myself one night and Florida rain slowed me down. I get to the venue and there's a line out the door and people standing with umbrellas waiting to get in. So of course I have to do the same. I grab a smoked sausage, potato salad, and mac and cheese to go. It looked and smelled great in the car. And when I got home I torn it all up. I talked it up so much that I got my coworkers hungry for it a few days later. We placed a large order. Everyone got there food but me. Everyone was trying to share plates of green beans, ribs, baked chicken, It was too late for lunch so I proceeded into a meeting when my stomach growling. I get out the meeting with several coworkers telling me the owner of the business appear at the workplace with my food, a few extra treats and a heartfelt apologize. The delivery guy left without my food. lol. That was nearly two years ago and the food remains amazing. Unfortunately when getting delivery - you still need to triple check that the delivery guys haven't forgot anything. Yes the meat will fall off the bone. Yes the food is good but the customer service is A1. The very first time I tried this place everyone told me I would be back. And so far I see no lies.

The Haverhill Road restaurant really cranks the music incredibly loud. We couldn't even talk to each other because of how loud the music was. And it was difficult to talk to the restaurant staff because of the music. Huge turnoff and makes me not want to eat here again.

Usually never have issues with this business. I'll just get straight to the issue that made me even want to write a yelp review today. It's holiday season, I understand EVERYBODY is busy. But if you open at a specific time, don't forward the calls your business is receiving to voicemail because you're not ready to officially open. Loyal customers are considerate , you DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE AN ATTITUDE WITH THEM BECAUSE you're running behind!!!! Also if I'm calling as a customer to order breakfast and you need more time to open but our OUT OF SPECIFIC ITEMS, why not make your customers aware as soon as they go to place an order or call? Make them aware you're currently out of blase & blase , to save THEM THE TIME , and YOURSELF. I was told to call back at 8 AM for breakfast , so I did. Just for when I attempted to call back , I get forwarded 6 times. I pushed eating breakfast back before work a HOUR , waiting on them to be ready & Then the kicker , what I was planning to order was apparently out of stock today, whatever's the reason. Could've saved US both time if someone made me aware of that when I first called. Doesn't matter if I didn't bring it up it's something you guys have on the menu, & if it's not in the kitchen yes you should make every customer aware of that. I been in customer service since 15 years old, I'm over educated on the ways to treat a customer especially a loyal one. & This is not the first time this has happened, just the first time I decided to write a review about it. Secondly they have different chefs I'm assuming & rib tips dinner plate , my partner an I ordered on a Saturday ARE NOT the same taste or cooked the same on a weekday. We ordered dinner on a Tuesday or Wednesday & we didn't eat either sides because they were cooked off and tasted old. We spent $50 because we always tip, just for 70% of the plates to be thrown out. I suggest having certain chefs re trained. I used to be obsessed with your collard greens & last time I ordered them they tasted like they were 3 days old! I work in a hospital , I have spare time in the morning not MUCH but enough to support a local breakfast shop or restaurant in general. I always support this business always, but they have been lacking with communication & I've been told that before but I love supporting small businesses. They deserve it more than these corporations. But recently they been lacking with customer service as well. I'm truly very nice and I don't mean any harm in this review because this restaurant IS OVERALL TRULY AMAZING. But recently the communication and the quality needs to be retrained or refreshed ! I'm definitely taking a break from supporting but I will always be a customer for the future but hopefully you guys consider your own customers advice. Happy holidays

Wow and wow! We went for the first time on a Sunday night and they were sold out of almost everything. We were so bummed! The reviews looked great and it just smelled like my grandma's kitchen. So as we were drooling over the menu the sweetest men, Malachi and the owner and a sweet other young man were just so kind and charming sharing their story. As we talked about all the food that had sold out that day, the owner said my favorite, PEACH COBBLER!!!! I cried out, "Not Peach Cobbler!" The sweet owner goes into his own to-go bag and said, "I have never done this, but I'm Gonna give you my dessert!" OMG! There isn't an adjective to describe the deliciousness of this cobbler but I'll just say his mama is the best cook and I can't wait until they open Tuesday as we will be there at 11:00 when they open for lunch to get all the good food! Incredible service and just the greatest staff! If the peach cobbler is any indication the food is gonna blow my mind! I'll be updating on Tuesday!

I have eaten here several times and dropped the ball on taking pics. Why? Because we are so excited to dig in that it is not top of mind...lol. What I appreciate about this small business is the consistency that I have experienced with their food. Ribs....are what the name says they are. The fall off the bone. They do have many siace variations. My fave is a mix of mustard and sweet heat (I think). I love the Mac and cheese, greens and their smothered pork chops.......... MADNESS! Literally, their Sunday menu makes me feel like a child again and of all of the different things my grandmother cooked. Flavor CITY! I am head over heels about this place and wish them continued success.

We went to the pick up location off of 45th street in West Palm Beach, Florida. The food is truly amazing. The meat, the sides, the deserts were delicious. The staff was professional and courteous. If you want delicious food, good, fast service and people friendly staff, treat yourself to "off da bone barbeque".

The food here is incredibly delicious, like seriously! Try it for yourself, if you like BBQ, you will not be disappointed.

Nothing great. Disappointed in the sides. It was a delivery, maybe in-house would be better. Ribs were not cooked through. The pink wasn't a smoke ring.

Never had a chance to try the que yet--- but did get a call that one of my main items was out (pulled pork) and was being removed from charging me but they had already left so so way to adjust order- really sucks. Then order arrived without the drinks that were ordered....the driver could barely speak English and really didn't care...so, even if the que is good- it already suffers due to the lack of any communication and missed items....you would think for someone paying $100 for que that's the customer they wanna take care of...guess not. UPDATE: BBQ without a smoke ring tells you all you need to know...2 star #nosmokebbq oven cooked bbq

08/30/2024- I have always gone to Miami for great Bbq , but Ever since I found this place I have been in love with the food. My co-worker who is Hispanic and who has never had food outside of her culture even loves it. I have been to both locations and both are great, but on 08/30/2024 I order my food over the phone and when I got there I am always greeted politely by the young-man that takes your order. I decide to buy additional food when I got there. He told me to go wait in the car and he would bring it right out to me when it is ready. I go back to my car and it would not start. I went back into the restaurant and ask the nice young-man did anybody had jumper cables. He said "let me ask my boss". Before I can get back to my car the boss /owner was pulling next to my car to give me a jump (not to mention he was cooking in the back, that famous bbq) he dropped it all to help me with my car. I could not believe the kindness. He "said what sort of person, would I be if I let you come into my establishment and buy food and will not give you a helping hand and I have a mother and a sister and most I am a man" I do what men should do....wow wow. Thank you Thank you and Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Best BBQ around. Just visited the new second location on Haverhill and enjoyed everything we had. The baked beans are just fantastic. I had pulled pork and my wife had ribs. Everything was cooked to perfection. We will make this our favorite.

Great Food and the customer service is outstanding. Highly recommend. Some of the best Bbq I've had in quite sometime. You must try the smoke turkey as well.

Ribs are well cooked and tender. I am here once a week. My only contention on this night would be the not so friendly service. Some of our young folks need to understand the meaning of good customer service. We must treat each other better.

When you ask someone what sauce tell them you are putting it all over the food. I had to throw away about a pound of chicken due to the sauce.

The food is amazing! I'm actually most impressed with the man n cheese. Because I haven't eat a man n cheese in a few years that I thought had flavor and this one was delicious. The ribs were tender and sweet. Collard greens were seasoned to perfection. Potato salad and corn bread were also so good! I highly recommend and I'll def be having them again

Ate here with my family once and was impressed with the quality of their food and the taste of their ribs! I want to come back to eat at "Off Tha Bone BBQ"so I highly recommend this place for their delicious ribs and food.

Off Tha Bone... I've eaten from the first location on Tamarin several times and was excited about the new location on 4065 Haverhill Road, Suite B1, West Palm Beach, and all I can say is that this is the best barbecue spot by far. The meat literally falls off the bone, juicy and tender. The sides are amazing. I'm always comparing all of the barbecue restaurants to Off Tha Bone. I am never disappointed. Hopefully they'll open a spot in Broward cty.

I've judged competitions for the Kansas City Barbeque Society. I've participated as an amateur in barbeque speed eating contests. This is some of the best barbeque I've ever had. Most certainly the best in South Florida and it's not even close. Between two people, we had a whole slab and a half slab of ribs. On the whole slab, we went with their "twist" sauce. It combined their tangy Carolina-style mustard sauce with their mild sweet sauce. On the half slab, we went with a spicy sauce. Both sauces were rich and superb. Well, let's just say the rib meat fell off the bone. Fell.. off.. tha bone. It was so juicy and tender, but hearty and meaty as well, with a nice char on the outside to give it a crunch. You cannot cook it better. I'm certainly ruined with respect to other establishments. Also, there was SO much meat on the bone, which, overall, their portion sizes are incredible, sure to last you more than one meal. For sides, we went with a large mashed potato and gravy, which they made special for us (we can't say enough about their customer service). We also had their candied yams. Hands down, some of the best food I have ever eaten with respect to both of these dishes. For twenty minutes after eating them, these two things were all I could think about. This is the first time I've ever wanted to call a restaurant after eating their takeout just to thank them. Wow. Wow. I cannot wait to go back.

Just came into town and wanted to get some bbq. This place was just a mile or two away from where we were staying, so decided to try! Had the rib dinner. For sides I had mac and cheese and beans. The ribs were very tender and the spicy sauce was really good! Sides were delicious! I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and chef! Since it was our first visit they gave us a piece of homemade cake! We're saving that for later tonight when we aren't so stuffed! Please try this small locally owned business with reasonably priced meals! You'll love it!

Was in WPB for the weekend and wanted some Soulfood. Check out Yelp and since Off the Bone was less than 10 minutes away, I cruised on over. Since I'm pescaterian I went for the sides. What a great experience! Food and people were great. Had collard greens, pigeon peas & rice and mac n cheese. Had I known they served breakfast, I'd have gone. So this will be my spot to eat at when in or traveling thru WPB. Btw they're close to I-95 so you can hop off and hop back on after grabbing a bite.

Good take out for lunch. Stopped by here for lunch before going to work. It's a small spot on a pretty busy corner. The staff is pretty friendly and funny. They recommended a couple of selections and even some of their special sauces. They even allowed me to sample them. I got my usual of chicken, Piegon peas and rice, and greens with some tea. I took it back to my room and it was still hot when I got there. Great meal even though I asked for piegon peas and rice but got Mac and cheese instead. The tea was "diabetic sweet" and good. Cornbread was great. All of it was at a good price too with decent portions. Before I left the young lady said they do breakfast... I'm on the way!

Just what I needed. Visiting from out of town and was looking into black owned businesses, this place was close by. The serving size was more than I can handle, the Mac and cheese was delightful, and the collards were amazing. It is a sweet sauce but they don't overdo it. If you're looking to get full off of good southern dining, go here

New to the area and you know I had to do a quick video and say I enjoyed my meal and coming back for a fish and grits breakfast in the heart of the city. My sausage sandwich was good, potato salad good and baked beans and cornbread . Service is quick friendly and affordable.

Someone told me about this place so when a friend came to take me to lunch I mentioned it. We were not disappointed. My friend said her chicken sandwich was excellent and my smothered pork chop was fall off the bone. I had the macaroni cheese and beans, both yummy

We decided to try Off Tha Bone after driving by recently, having not realized it just recently opened at this location. We were really impressed! It was a quarter till 9pm and we were a little hesitant to try getting bbq so late. We walked in and we're greeted warmly by the folks running the place. It's a takeout-only place with a small ordering room and some chairs and a tv. We ordered a family meal of a full rack of ribs, which came with 2 sides and cornbread. We opted for collard greens and baked beans. We waited only a couple minutes and the food was ready. We took it home and it smelled so good we couldn't wait to dig in. The ribs were excellent! Well smoked, cooked just right and seasoned well. They really didn't require any sauce, but there was some on the side for us to try. They have a regular sauce and a mustard based one as well. The collards are really good and the beans are sweet with a pronounced cinnamon component. We loved every part of the meal and will certainly be back for more. In an area that lacks good bbq, this place looks very promising.

The ribs are very good so are the dinners and the deserts, love the ice tea but a few times the collard greens was a little bit too salty for my taste, love the smothered pork chops

When you drive past the building, it seems like the typical "hole-in-the-wall" but do not be deceived. This restaurant serves some of the best ribs in Palm Beach. Their most popular BBQ sauce seems like a delicious mixture of Carolina BBQ sauce and Tennessee BBQ sauce. They're a Grab n' Go style restaurant, so it's usually suggested to wait in your car until your food is ready but the food is definitely worth the wait.

Really good BBQ, Memphis style. I got the rib dinner... comes with a half slab, two sides, and corn bread. I got the sauce hot for the ribs (Not that hot) beans, collard greens. The ribs where hot, you can tell it just came out of the smoker. cooked perfectly. Tender, but not to the point that it was falling apart. The sauce had a sweet taste to it, lots of honey in the sauce. It was the right amount on the ribs, good balance between hot and sweet. Neither was over powering. The collard greens was perfect, hot, tasty. It wasn't over vinegar taste, or over salted. Soft, and pretty good portion. Beans was perfect, not over sauced, or really soft (Mushy) it was good. Corn Bread was moist, you can taste the butter in it as well. Decent size piece too. Its hard to find a good BBQ place around here, and for Memphis style, it was definitely Memphis style. The smoker they use is professional, it wasn't like the typical propane tank style. it was commercial grade, and it looked fairly new. I will go back.

They charge $10 for this, it's supposed to be shrimp and grits but I could have made this I've tasted way better this is literally plain grits with bland shrimp with a shell on the tail. I tossed it in the trash

Ordered a simple order Chicken, cornbread, bake beans , Collard greens with cornbread, and sweet potato pie. No pie or extra collard greens and still charged $40.
