First time coming here after I finalized my adoption from Kitten Rescue and wow Ivan and staff are extremely knowledgeable, they helped me out a lot and gave me a lot of information on different products not just one. He answered all my questions and was eager to help. Thank you Ivan I really appreciate it and I’d definitely be coming back again. (:

We absolutely love going to this store. Melanie and the whole staff are always so knowledgeable. They've helped us find alternatives to their food allergies. There's always a great variety of toys. Our pups, Happy & Seager, enjoy visiting, too.

They are just AMAZING! Really great place for pet lovers. I had the opportunity to meet them a year ago and I loved the experience from day one. Great store! They have knowledgeable and friendly humans + cute fur workers too! They have great food / treat alternatives for our furbabies, which is great. Very well kept and clean. Nicole was so amazing and informative. I have a new rescue dog and she took the time to walk me thru products, food and chew toys. Pet ID selection was great we made the adoption official with her new ID tag - will be back it’s a great pet shop.

I love coming to Off the Leash! I’ve been coming here since they opened, I always feel so welcomed here. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. They take their time to listen to your concerns and provide great suggestions. They have such an amazing selection of all different kinds of cat foods for cats—wet/dry/raw which I love. They have a wide variety of litters to try. What I love most about OTL is that they genuinely care about their customers and their fur babies. They’re my go to store! Love this place! My dog was having anxiety issues, so I went here to try and get her something that could calm her quickly. The guys there were indispensably helpful. They walked me through different options, the pros and cons of each, and other people’s experiences with certain products. The one I landed on based on their help did the trick. Within 30 min of using the calming oil they recommended, my dog was back to her normal self without having to use something that would fully sedate her. I’m so grateful for their help!

Always a friendly employee to help you and answer questions. They give samples which is nice. They also have a lot of things you cant find at a big box pet store. My dog was sick and wasnt eating and they helped me find different toppers, treats and powders to stimulate her appetite. Very much appreciated.

It's quite impressive!! I have a very picky/snobby eater so I found this place on a whim but they have so many great options so I'm excited for my pup to try out different foods and hoping she will finally like one. Matt was extremely kind, helpful & knowledgeable!! They also gave me free samples which I was so grateful for since I've never seen a pet store do that?! So nice. Love this place and it will be my go to pet shop now! Highly recommend spoiling ur pets here!! Also parking is very easy and free!

Off the Leash, is a hidden gem for pet parents. The staff here are friendly and helpful and answers any questions you have. Off the Leash has a fantastic selection of premium pet food, including treats, bully sticks, wet and dry food for dogs and cats, but also a variety of nice pet supplies. They sell a great assortment of beds, carriers, leashes, and toys. There is also a personalized tag machine to add a personal touch to your pet's collar. I found out about Off The Leash through the "Picketing Pets" program, which the store owner is involved in supporting the entertainment industry by providing a complimentary bag of pet food each month for pet parents during the entertainment industry WGA-SAG-AFTRA strike. This kind of community support is truly commendable and heartwarming. Thank you! Parking is simple, with reserved spaces in front of the store. Off the Leash is a pet store that caters to the needs of pet parents. Great friendly staff, premium products, and an amazing community involvement for the entertainment industry to make this a top pet store for anyone with a furry friend. LOVE IT! Randomly found and turned around. Janiese was SUPER helpful, Jeremiah's a sweetheart and every member of the staff was welcoming. So many brands I'd never heard of (and I'm pretty aware of the high end, additive free stuff). Toys were also adorable! We have a moratorium on anymore toys rn but I def wanted to get him a few. Amazing selection and the prices were on par. Got a nice little selection for picky pants to snub. They have a rewards program and accept returns! What more can you ask for. Janiese also gave a couple treats, mindful of his allergies and the additives he doesn't eat. You can tell she truly cares. She's a cat lady too so I'm already a fan! Support local business and make the fur babes happy!

The owner and all of the staff here are really great. I most always see Mel and Jenna when I go. Mel and Jenna are VERY friendly, VERY helpful. and VERY patient, even if you ask a million questions like me about my very large and picky puppy! They are very knowledgeable when it come to pet nutrition and pet behavior. It is also really nice that they greet me by name. I also love that the owner is careful with the food selections he brings in & and bonus--they have a great treat selection as well. If you are thinking about dropping in to check them out -- Do it!!

This shop truly is the mecca for all high quality pet supplies. The food is only the best of the best brands; lightly cooked, air dried and raw. They have the best brand goat milk, Green Juju. Tons of raw bones for their teeth and treats to enjoy. There is a wonderful selection of lick mats/slow feeders that are adorable. Tons of cute unique toys and collars and leashes. You can even order online and they will bring it out to curbside pickup, which is so convenient. Believe me when I say you need to check this place out, esp if you care about your pets health.

Turns out there's been a lot of new technology available since my last cat. Ivan was incredibly helpful getting me set up for my new kitties.

A M A Z I N G Service every single time I've walked into the store the owners have been so welcoming and kind. My dog is a very picky eater so they helped me pick out the right foods for him so he will enjoy his meal times more. So glad I found this place! And getting to see the adorable Daisy is always a plus!

I love this place. Not only are Matt and his entire crew incredibly helpful and friendly, they are also extremely knowledgeable about animals. I actually feel like I've saved money (as well as stress) from taking our dog Fred to the vet because of good advice we've gotten at Off the Leash. It's very comforting knowing that they truly care about the health of animals as well, and so they only carry high-quality products with good ingredients. It also feels good to support a local, independently owned business. One more tip: if you've adopted your pet from a shelter or rescue, they will actually give you an extremely generous welcome bag full of all kinds of food, treats, toys etc. Really great place!

I can't express my gratitude enough for this place. The owners are so extremely caring and knowledgeable. The foods offered here are obviously thoughtfully curated. The selection here isn't even offered at major retailers like Petco. THIS stuff is good. I have a tight budget but they were so helpful in explaining all kinds of ways I could rethink the way I feed my cats (most cat food out there has a bunch of fillers which is not healthful, as they are obligate carnivores!) They also offer CBD pet products. I called in a panic because the facility I got my cat spayed at did not provide pain meds for post-op, and I did not want to put her through a vet visit afterward to get pain meds. Off the Leash came to the rescue with info about pet CBD... which will save my cat a lot of stress/inflammation and will save me a lot of anxiety. The selection here is top-notch in terms of quality and the prices are better than anywhere else I've seen. Long-time-coming 5-star review: I wish I had a reason to come here more often than once a month for dog food. Matt and Raven are always so knowledgeable and friendly to me, a first-time dog-haver. Today, Stanley was on a hunger strike since one of his dads was out of town. In the words of many mothers, my kitchen is not a restaurant, and since he gets rehydrated or frozen raw food I can't just leave it out for him. So I took my frustrations on a Target run, but alas no one there wanted to listen to me vent about my dog. Luckily, I needed to re-up on his food and while at Off the Leash I befriended two new employees, Kat (Cat? Sorry!) and Ivan. We commiserated about pets who can't understand us, moving to LA, and random movie tropes. It was exactly what I needed to change my 'tude, come home, and nicely ask Stan to eat his breakfast.

Okay, this place is nothing short of amazing. If I haven't left a few glowing reviews before, then shame on me. Matt and Raven are not only extremely knowledgeable, but so very kind and compassionate. We have found loyal friends in them and our puppies are now even play mates (we love you, Daisy). We are weekly (sometimes more, I have no self control) visitors and it's the best part of our week. They truly care about the well being of your pet and will only want the best. This type of service and love you simply cannot get anywhere else. Did I mention are dogs are obsessed with this place? They know we're going to visit from miles away and I believe they will 100% ditch us and live with Matt and Raven if I let them... Make sure to stop by, bring your pups for treats and get some raw feed foods - don't forget to ask any questions you may have! :)

Best. Pet. Shop. Ever. Once we entered through the door, their "just let us know if you have questions" felt very genuine! We just adopted our cat and we've been VERY type-A about his food. The store has brands/flavors/proteins that can't be found anywhere else. It's obvious they actually screen the brands they sell. Everybody was soooo knowledgable, not just about store products but about specific ingredients, pet needs, questions, etc. It's not the closest pet store to us, but we've already decided to make the drive to stay loyal lol. We've been to a lot of "small" pet shops, but Off The Leash is definitely the best we've been to. Thank you for the wonderful experience, see you soon!

Willie and I give this shop two big paws up! Everyone is incredibly kind and helpful (shout-out to my new BFF Raven who let me trauma-dump the woes of a reactive dog owner on her for 45 minutes). Exceptionally high-quality products at great prices. It's clear a lot of knowledge and effort have gone into this shop. I am in love with this store! I am a new dog mama and have so much to learn. Pet nutrition was my first step - my girl came to me with parasites, IBD, and underweight. I have been reading and researching so much about pet nutrition. (watch pet fooled on Prime, for instance) I was so disappointed in the pet smart, petco type stores - It felt like going to a low vibe, fast food restaurant for dogs. I walked into this store and couldn't believe how highly curated and conscious the choices were. There is no junk food for your dog in this store. It's all healthy selections that will bring more years to your dog's life. Nicole helped me and she had a dog with similar guy issues. She recommended a brand and it has worked so well for her. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with any questions are issues you may have. I hope they will be able to open up more stores to shed light on taking care of your dog with appropriate nutrition.

When I looked inside the window of this pet store, I legit squealed!! If you're a dog mom such as myself, I live for keeping my dogs happy and giving them the best life ever! So you can imagine how happy I was to see a new pet shop open in Glendale!! Theres a HUGE selection here of pet food, treats, toys, collars, grooming supplies, pet health and wellness products, I was so impressed with their selection! They also carry hard to find products like artisanal pet goods, and toys and toys and treats I've never seen anywhere else! So that makes me doubly happy to support a small business as well as local makers and crafters they carry! Totally curated pet products! The owners are super friendly and helpful and even sent me home with some sample treats to try for my dogs (which they loved!!)! I purchased a beautiful handmade Mexican serape bed and a rare find blush pink serape blanket (both locally sourced from a WOC small business in LA!!) I got it for my girl dog but I ended up using it for myself! I love their assortment of treats for dogs, esp that they have super soft treats too for dogs without any teeth! On my second visit I picked up a soft collar for my younger dog and some new soft toys. She usually tears through them in 30min, but they carry a specific brand for tough chewers! Heaven!! I got 2 and they're still going strong! A fantastic addition to Glendale and Los Angeles dog and cat owners!

Small shop with a heart of gold ! Stumbled upon the store while scrolling on yelp & on arrival Nicole and Ivan were super helpful , kind & very knowledgeable ! If you seek the best overall value of high quality products, affordable prices, knowledgeable staff, as well as kind and helpful customer service, this is the place to shop for your furry ones! I was so pleased to find Off The Leash looking for a high-quality boutique dog food that is made with only whole ingredients. Even if you do not live in Glendale, it is worth the drive (and right off of the freeway.) They are a small business and they support small producers as well. They carry pet foods that are made with purpose, care, and quality ingredients and these guys know their stuff. I had a handful of questions that they answered with ease. They know their product, they are proud of their offering and they are so kind to anyone to walks in the door. Sure you might get 5% off shopping at the other guy but I can guarantee you won't have the same positive experience. Trust me, it's worth the visit!

Super nice staff and adorable toys. They were very knowledgeable and had suggestions. It is super close to our house which is great. We are happy to have an LGBT store near us. We got a lot of cool items from the store including an adorable dog teepee. Our uncle from Canada got a gift certificate from them and we finally got to use it and of course get a few more items for our puppy. We will be back!

I highly recommend this shop! I recently went just to check it out, and was so pleased! I was able to re-up my dog's raw and dehydrated raw. So glad I have a place down the street that carries all the high quality brands I give my girl. They also offer a rewards program, which is great. I found this place when looking for pet stores before bringing my puppy home. Everyone who works here is extremely knowledgeable about pet food and is willing to help you meet your nutritional goals for your pet. They are nonjudgemental and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. They enjoy educating customers and meeting furry friends. Literally the best pet food store I (and my puppy) have ever been to.

This place is a gem. The staff is small but mighty and knowledgeable. They are willing to talk you through the different options and strategies to tackle whatever you are up against. My dog is a picky eater and gets tired of their food quickly. The lady at the store was able to recommend a fantastic brand that has lots of varieties and wont break the bank. My pup is happy and I look forward to going back when the time comes - which is usually not the case!

Highly impressed by this pet supplies shop. Knowledgeable and helpful staff and a wide array of products. I'm in the middle of training a raw fed service dog and am needing to find high value treats - which is tough when their day to day diet is high value! Matt gave me an awesome goodie bag of samples to try at home and he talked me through his product suggestions. They've only been open since March 2021 and it's definitely worth a pitstop for you to check it out. Will 100% be back!

This place is more than 5 stars. It has changed my dog's life for the better. I came to this place desperate, trying to find a diet for my dog, Waffles,who was diagnosed with pancreatitis. The prescribed food the vet recommended was not solving any of his issues. At Off the Leash I found guidance and was explained every single detail on what I was about to feed my little baby. Waffles is doing sooo much better and it's thanks to them. A hundred percent recommend coming here if you're looking for real care
