"Step into this charming wine bar, and transport yourself and your favorite people to France. Whether you lean toward a Nuthouse Riesling or a Totus Tuus Red Blend paired with flatbreads and charcuteries, this experience is bound to be a social one. Try the bacon-wrapped feta-stuffed dates or the spiced meatballs drizzled with a cream sauce for a flavorful start to a meal. Vegetarian and gluten-free options abound here, as do French desserts and espresso coffees." - Rebecca Deurlein

Nice, quaint, little neighbor wine bar. They host monthly wine dinners showcasing different regions, and also is a great venue for small gatherings/ parties (i.e. weddings, parties, receptions). They even have a wine club membership. I look forward to retuning, as the owners and staff are WONDERFUL and provide an excellent experience!

Place is ok. Needs more variety of ordering options as well as alternatives to their standard offerings for special eaters. The veggie burger 🍔 was good, however this great accomplishment was overshadowed by the stale, soggy, pale "chips" item they were paired with. They had the texture of Styrofoam and could not be eating whatsoever. We had to discard of them. It would have been much better choice to simply serve with fries 🍟 like mostly all restaurants do or allow a chip selection for the customer to choose from instead of choosing for them. The "chicken tenders" was also ordered which brought another issue once we discovered these items had been cut ✂️ or altered into pieces instead of serving as actual whole chicken tenders in full strip form. Tenders should always be fully breaded and batter "SEALED" on all sides with no meat exposed when serving. As a result of this only the fries 🍟 could be eating and the altered chicken pieces had to be discarded. Sometimes cooks and restaurants have bad days, maybe this was the case here, but hopefully this is not an ongoing theme. We will try them again a second time to see if it's a better day and if some of these great ideas💡 and suggestions can be implemented to gain more stars 🌟 We tried them again and they did better and made some good changes, so as a result they gained an additional star🌟

Small but pleasant. Food is dynamite. Staff very warm and accomodating. I was there for a private event. The beef dinner was wonderful. The meatballs were super too!

Talk about a hidden gem in missouri city. I am not a big wine person but I brought my wife here for her bday because she loves wine and all I have to say is great service, great wine, and great bites to eat. The owner was real down to earth and super friendly. My wife said she's going to join their wine club and we're definitely coming back for sure.

5/5 Stars - A True Hidden Gem! I recently had the pleasure of discovering Off The Vine, a true hidden gem in Missouri City. This intimate tasting room was recommended to me by Lynn Clouser · Mayor Pro Tem at the SBAC small business advisory committee, and I'm so grateful for the suggestion. From the moment I walked in, owners Manish and Namita Asthana made me feel like family. The service was exceptional, with Manish's perfect wine recommendations pairing beautifully with Namita's spot-on food suggestions. The welcoming atmosphere immediately put me at ease. The wine list is expertly curated, with something for every palate. I appreciated the opportunity to try new varietals and vintages, all of which were described in detail by Manish. The light bites offered were the ideal complement to the wine, with Namita's recommendations enhancing each tasting. Off The Vine is more than just a wine bar - it's a community. The personalized service makes you feel like a valued guest. I'm already looking forward to returning and experiencing more of what they have to offer. Whether you're a seasoned oenophile or just discovering the world of wine, Off The Vine is a must-visit. Be sure to ask about their private events, storage lockers, and wine club memberships for an even more elevated experience. A huge thank you to Manish and Namita for creating such a special place, and to Lynn for the recommendation. I can't wait to go back and see what's new!

Google
We attended a wine tasting at Off The Vine this week. The flight of 3 wines and the snack plate were delicious. The hostess was friendly and knowledgeable. She came by our table several times to tell us interesting facts about the wine and food. The venue is a little unusual. Located in what seems like an office park, the tasting room has several small rooms with tables. The setup provides a surprisingly intimate atmosphere, and we enjoyed the camaraderie with some friends in the relative privacy of one of the rooms. Off the Vine is a fun place to go with friends to try new wines and visit.

My boyfriend and I came here as a spur of the moment decision tonight. This was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Manish took care of us tonight and he was AMAZING. He was so helpful and informative and never made us feel rushed. He was very attentive and gave us so much information about the different selections. We ordered the herbed feta and a bottle of red wine and they paired perfectly together. This was the best date we have ever had. The atmosphere was romantic and the food and wine were delicious. I would absolutely reccomend this place to anyone looking for a fun night out.

Google
Great taste (clean type) the chicken and pasta is my favorite! A rare flavor, nice ambience for a private party or even date night, Mrs. N and the staff always cordial. Food is hot, love the baked chips with no salt. So good to see a female business owner in Fort Bend, lets also support her. Staff is friendly. They cook it fresh, wait is not bad in time for pickup. May God bless your business too,

Christalyn W.

Yelp
Bacon Wrapped Dates are an unexpected delicious little treat. They're savory and sweet! The bacon is salty and pairs perfectly with the feta cheese and sweetness of the dates. The bacon could be cooked more thoroughly. Lamb gyro flatbread is flavorful and tender. The kale is cooked to perfection and still has a crunch. The feta cheese adds a nice salty flavor. The service and cook are amazing! This is a cozy bistro, that feels like home.

Yelp
We had a lovely time in one of the private rooms at the tasting room at Off The Vine Bistro recently. The owner, Namita, accommodated a group of 11 of us on a fairly short notice to celebrate a couple of friends birthdays! The appetizers, main and desserts were all fantastic but it was the service and warm welcoming atmosphere that made the evening more special for us!

Kay T.

Yelp
The new location is perfect! It's a nice, quiet place. The couple who own/operate it are the friendliest & are fun people. They r very knowledgeable about wines & the small bites they have started out with are delicious. This is our new Missouri City favorite. You have to give this place a try!!

Yelp
Casual and quaint bistro in a plaza that shares it's parking spaces with several other tenants. This bistro and wine bar is hidden and not in a very good spot...that can potentially hinder business. As my friend and I made a visit for Sunday brunch, we noticed that it was quiet...too quiet. As the only patrons, I began to ponder the situation for such a local business that aims to deliver food that they promote as farm to table. The service was very laid back and friendly. We opted for the salmon omelette with 2 sides of our choice being bacon and home fries ($14), and also a turkey bacon sandwich sandwich ($12). Our entrees arrived shortly and we were ready to dig in. The salmon omelette was delectable, with perfectly cooked salmon inside a fluffy egg and paired with a good portion of home fries. The home fries were very good as well, as the sautéed onions and peppers made the flavor pop. The bacon was the highlight though- very well done as I like my bacon crisp and not soggy. The smoked turkey bacon sandwich was mediocre at best but the side of french fries were tasty and crisp. The sandwich bread itself was a good wheat bread as requested and the cranberry/avocado combo inside was interesting...not something I'd normally put together. The turkey meat was the disappointment, as it had an awkward taste, almost like a metallic taste. It was just so strange that I couldn't do with it after a few bites that I removed it from the bread and just ate the sandwich sans turkey. It also had a hole-y consistency...not sure what's up with that. The dining room remained rather lifeless during the time we were there and I wished that there were more customers to make the place a little more lively. The wine bar looks cute and there is so much potential in this concept. I think it would help if they could promote their farm to table concept more and list where they source their ingredients from as well as collaborating with local farmers to present dinners. I would order the omelette again upon return for future brunches and am interested in the wine dinners because the pairings seem fun.

Yelp
Definitely overpriced for what you get in terms of quantity and quality. We started out with the charcuterie board ($12), which consisted of 4 slices of prepackaged deli meat, 2 triangles of brie, 1 slice of gouda, and a pinch of sliced almonds - all of these items looked like they came right out of HEB. "Fruits" is one sliced strawberry. Quite honestly a joke given this is a restaurant with a focus on wine... The vine curry chicken was more of a spicy, spiced tomato soup with rice. The house salad was depressing with more pre-packaged looking items. The Spanish seafood paella is $22 and consists of yellow rice that somehow smells incredible but tastes like it might just be yellow food colored rice. The margarita pasta was so bland that we poured sauce from the brussel sprouts into it to make it edible - the brussel sprouts were tiny and shriveled up, so the only good part about them was the sauce. There are much much better places in Houston that will serve you great wine AND food, so don't settle on coming here. You'll pay too much and be greatly disappointed.

Yelp
Super great place! A gem in our neighborhood for sure! Beer and wine with a lovely menu of appetizers and meals. They offer flights of wine and 3 course meals! Quiet and perfect!!

Felix F.

Yelp
Horrible! If you value your time, DONT GO. I walked in ordered, was told 10-15 minutes..... I thought ok 6 turkey sandwiches... fast forward 55 minutes later!!!! 6 sandwiches with 2 pieces of bread and a piece of turkey! WHAT THE??? This had to either be deliberate (doubt that) or incompetence (that sounds likely). Everyone there was upset and the wait! Don't know if they saw there food when they got home! Take a look at my sad sandwich! Never Again!

Yelp
Off the Vine Bistro and Wine Bar is located just a block northeast of Hwy 6 in Missouri City. This cozy little wine bar is like a home away from home. It's the perfect place to enjoy a Save & Exit glass of wine and good eats with family and friends. Off the Vine Bistro is family owned - and that is very clear the moment you walk through the door. Every time I visit, I am always greeted with a large smile and welcoming conversation. I highly recommend you ask your server to find out what they recommend pairing with your vittles. They will not steer you wrong. And that's a fact! You'll always find scratch cooking here at Off the Vine Bistro. Their home-grown spices, along with locally-sourced and produced food, are the perfect recipe for a delightful dish. If you like fresh, then you need to come and see what fresh tastes like. For real! Off the Vine Bistro and Wine Bar is so much more than a place to get a wonderful meal - they also offer cooking classes and wine-paired dinners once a month. I like that! If you are looking for a place to kick back and finish off your week, their Sunday Brunch has healthy, flavorful options with carefully-selected ingredients for palates with food restrictions and allergies. This is definitely a designation for those who need to pay attention to what they eat. If you love live music, then I am about to add another layer to this cake. They have live music every Saturday night - brought to you by local community performers in a variety of different genres: jazz, rock 'n roll and pop covers. A good time to be had by all! Now, if you have been following me for any length of time, then you know I can't visit a wine bar without ordering up a Charcuterie & Cheese Board... it would just be sacrilegious! Right? So, that is exactly what I did! Our gracious server paired this piece of art with a Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara - one of my favorites with a beautiful floral and mineral character typical of Santa Barbara Pinot Noir. I instantly had a smile from ear to ear! The Hangover Fries caught my attention as I was thinking about all the pairing I'd be doing that evening. Maybe I should just take them to go... tomorrow would be coming waaay to soon! Ha! The House Chips were piled high with onions, tomato, cilantro, grated cheese, sour cream and grilled chicken - the perfect medicine for a sour stomach after a long night of leisure and laughter. The combination of flavors is something else! The menu is all so good, but you gotta try these potato sticks with a blanket of naturally-sourced love! The Appetizer Sampler Plate is another must-try here at Off the Vine Bistro and Wine Bar. You get to pick any 4 appetizers (half portions). We chose the Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp (of course), Lettuce Wraps, Spiced Meatballs and Mama's Spiced Chicken Bites. Wow! The spread was beautiful. I thought I would try a selection of apps and then I'd know exactly what to order the next time around- turned out I wasn't any better off than I was when I started. Everything was just so good! I think I will just have to order the sampler again. I suggest you do the same. Another favorite of mine is the Summer Sausage Flatbread. This flat bread was carefully crafted with Summer Sausage slices, cheese, apples, onions and fennel. This sandwich is a great option if you are looking for something light. You get a mouthful of crispy crust in the first bite and then you taste the sausage, cheese and apple combination that just pulls it all together. Now, I have a soft spot for a nice Cuban Sandwich, so when I noticed it on the menu I had to try it. This pressed sandwich was covered with smoked ham, Swiss cheese, mustard and pickles. We cut it up to share with the group, but I figured out right away that this was a mistake; I have been thinking about that outstanding sandwich ever since. The mustard and pickles gave that excellent accent to the smokiness in the ham. This sandwich might be my favorite of the day... it's just too hard to say. But, do try! And, just when I thought I couldn't eat another bite, two desserts showed up! Not a surprise... my friends have just as big a sweet tooth as I do. I never turn down a sweet, sweet, decadent dessert - don't ya know? My love of Chocolate Cake started as an infant. My first cake was a Triple-Decker Chocolate Castle. I gotta say, this dark hunk of sweetness brought me back to when times were a little simpler. This Chocolate Cake slice with Chocolate Filling and Chocolate Ganache took me to chocolate heaven! What an Ahhmazing experience here at Off the Vine Bistro and Wine Bar. You walk in as a customer and leave as a part of the family. Don't be shy to ask the owner Namita about her spices and recipes - she has a wealth of knowledge and is eager to share. I am so happy I found this little gem in in Missouri City... and even happier that I can share it with you! Enjoy!

Kristen S.

Yelp
We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere but it's a bit overpriced. Half a bottle of wine cost $20 and the bacon wrapped dates, while great, were on the small side for a $9 appetizer. The staff could've been more attentive. We sat with empty plates and glasses for twenty minutes. The food and wine were delicious enough to give it another chance soon.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
If you didn't know this little cafe was there you would miss it, tucked in the corner of a strip shopping center. Wine selection is great. Food wise they have something for everyone from small shareable plates to main courses. We tried the buffalo burger w lots of fresh toppings, the caprese sandwich w raspberry jam on it and a pasta dish that was the winner of the night! Will definitely go again. Meet the owner who was super nice and explained their monthly 7 course wine pairing dinners.

Surina O.

Yelp
Off the Vine Bistro is a wonderful place to treat yourself any day. I learned so much about wine while enjoying delicious food and conversation with the owners here. It's worth taking the time to check out this tucked away gem, and especially with their rotating specials throughout the week! They also have very unique wines (and can explain everything about them) for purchase if you're looking for something delicious and special!

Noell M.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of wine bars. This place was okay. The wine list was not impressive and extremely over priced. But I liked the 1/2 bottle option and the fact that they have several food options. Service was slow, but very nice and the gentleman was on top of who the guests were etc. I was just shocked at the prices, huge markup... I visit several wine bars and was hoping for some better quality wines and more friendly prices.

Daisy W.

Yelp
This place is now our go-to date night spot - it's the definition of a hidden gem! Feels like home every time we walk into this comfortable, lovely little bistro. We keep showing up for the fresh, flavorful, HEALTHY entrees and ever-changing wine offerings, but we always wind up lingering for hours to chat with the amazing owners. They are just incredibly knowledgable and passionate about sharing their love for food and wine without an ounce of snobbiness or condescension, even to wine newbies like me.

Maksim V.

Yelp
Really nice! I love the fresh take to classic cuisine. We got a salad/veggie dish that was crisp, fragrant, and had vibrant colored I don't remember what it was called. Dessert is also worth a shot.

Sandro M.

Yelp
The restaurant was clean and quaint. Namita was very welcoming, and I had one of the best salads I've ever had. It was extremely fresh and exotic tasting. I definitely recommend visiting Off the Vine Bistro!

Susanna J.

Yelp
A quaint, cute place, this hidden gem was a nice surprise. I had the appetizer sampler with chicken bites, meatballs and stuffed dates. Everything was delicious. The wine list was adequate. The prices were a little expensive but the food was very, very good. Our service was friendly and impeccable. A nice find in our little city.

Helen B.

Yelp
$65 monthly wine diners? YES, please! Don't mind if I do. There isn't a better deal in town. Namita's food is off the charts AMAZING and the wine selections are so sophisticated for a little quaint bistro, that you're guaranteed to be impressed. Let's keep this locally owned GEM busy, folks!!!

Lauren H.

Yelp
This place is amazing! I love the manager and they're very accommodating to people with celiac disease. Great bacon/date appetizer. I always get the grass fed beef or bison burger on lettuce. They always have GF macaroons and on occasion have GF desserts such as brownies or lemon bars. Delicious!!!! Also not to mention the fantastic espresso, tastes like something I had while visiting Italy.

Noreen C.

Yelp
GREAT place!! We have been several times & the food is fantastic & really great wine list! The lasagne was excellent- a bit spicy with a yummy mixture of cheeses & sauce! The service is always excellent and the owner is a sweetheart! Call them for a wonderful catering experience! So many choices! I'm so glad this place is so close to us and has a superb happy hour.

Jesus A.

Yelp
Absolute Gem in an unlikely setting. Tucked in at the back of Pecan Plaza strip mall is probably what is my new favourite place in South Houston. Featuring a truly comprehensive craft beer and California wine list, absurdly reasonable prices pair with excellently executed locally sourced menu Items. More than just a cliche, the local ingredients add to the dish, instead of getting lost in it. I had an amazing Bison burger (grass fed beef also available) cooked to a perfect medium rare. It featured Hawaiian King Bun, sumptuously fresh local veggies, and Texas Natural Meats bacon. Overall one of the better burgers I've had in town. They also have Gluten Free options for those with sensitivity. Great date option or simply night out, you can't go wrong at Off the Vine

Ruby C.

Yelp
I wish i would have read the reviews before eating here. This is suppose to be a "farm to fork" wine bar type place, right? Well, my house wine tasted like the bottle had been opened for a couple of days. Definitely not fresh. But ok, whatever, i let that go bc it was happy hour and i ordered the house wine, so maybe it was just a cheap bottle or something. On to the meal... There is no way any of that was fresh, but it sure was overpriced. I ordered a 12 dollar turkey sandwich. It came on regular, store bought wheat bread. And not the fancy stuff, just plain old wheat bread. The turkey was decent but the cheese reminded me of kraft cheese slices. The side was potato chips. And not home made potato chips, lays potato chips... so save yourself 12 dollars and make it at home. The chicken bites were ok. A tad salty but a decent curry taste. My husband ordered some type of beef stew with a beer braise. He eats anything and yet when asked if it was good simply said, "eh". It was 22 dollars. The reason this place got 2 stars and not 1 was bc the people were very friendly. I really wanted to like this place bc its so close to us!! But we will not be going back. :/ Very disappointed!

Claudia F.

Yelp
We stopped in one day to chitchat with this place then returned another day for dinner. I really wanted to like this place. My husband ordered the burger and it was tasty. He ordered lentil soup and he also liked it, but the carrots on top were burned. It's supposed to be vegetarian, so I expected good vegetables. I ordered the eggplant sandwich with honey glazed onions and blue cheese. There was mostly bread sandwich with two almost raw eggplant slices and three slivers of onion dipped in honey and I could barely see the cheese. I was really disappointed. There were two other tables and I had to wait 5 minutes until the waitstaff finished chitchatting with another customer to remind her that we were waiting for our wine. If it weren't for the wine mellowing me out, I would have complained and refused to pay for the sandwich. I make better at home.

John D.

Yelp
I wanted to like this place more than I did. It's a cute neighborhood place in a neighborhood that needs more small businesses to succeed. But if this place is "farm to fork" or "farm to table" you can't tell from the menu or anything else. If they've purchased any of their food from local farms or suppliers they don't list it. The curry was probably the best thing at our table. But the Brussels sprouts that my wife ordered lacked flavor and her salad topped with salmon wasn't that great either. That led to an awkward encounter with the woman who may own the place. And that's the lasting memory I have of eating here.

Rachel L.

Yelp
This place is really amazing! We saw it driving home from dinner one night and decided to try it tonight. We had the meat and cheese board and salmon puffs for appetizers. YUM!! The cream cheese and spicy mayo dip was to die for! We weren't too hungry but decided to also have some wine and share the "Pull apart cauliflower and sweet potato hash" which was also amazing!! They cook then broil this entree which leaves it with a toasted finish, but absolutely not burnt and it is delicious. Can't wait to come back to try some of the other dishes!

Vincent L.

Yelp
Nice little homey wine joint that doesn't feel stuffy. Their sommelier was also very helpful in explaining and selecting wines.

J H.

Yelp
We ordered via DoorDash. Food portions were very small. Chicken and waffle was more like bland chicken pieces and a quarter waffle. Egg scramble was just ok. Nutella crepe was soggy and tough...at the same darn time! We'll blame that one on delivery. We won't order from here again. The restaurant is probably better, but we will not go there to find out. With delivery, our total was $40. Totally not worth it.

Carlis L.

Yelp
The service, food and space are not good. My experience started when I ordered a glass of house wine. It had a total of 6 sips in the glass and the owner had the nerve to say that's the amount they serve! Horrible. I ordered the chicken curry which tasted like watered down tomato juice. The place is very small and I don't expect it to stay opened too long. The prices are high for the serving and quality. Please beware!!!!!!!

Jessica B.

Yelp
I'm a local and I did not want to go to far since we were having a date night with our 6 month old baby, we still wanted a nice wine and dinner. We decided to give this place a try and we were not disappointed and we will be back.

Saksham M.

Yelp
Very good. Food was hot and service was good. Would come again. Price was perfect! Very clean and has a future in the restaurant industry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leslie H.

Yelp
This is our new go-to place. Everything we have tried has been delicious! I recommend the lamb curry and the jicama quinoa salad. Also has good gluten free and vegan options. My daughter has Celiac Disease and eats here with no problems.

Steve T.

Yelp
Great place to bring friends and enjoy good food and wine! Service is great waiters pay attention to customers.

Michele T.

Yelp
Amazing selection of wine. Very good charcuterie board. Convivial owners. Nice service and large array of gluten free and veg options. I wish this restaurant was closer to my neighborhood!

Elizabeth W.

Yelp
Have been here twice. The family is so nice. The food is a bit over priced for the quality. I hate to say that though! I still want to try their high tea!

David P.

Yelp
I won't vote for a person just because he is Australian, nor will I eat at a restaurant just because it's "farm to table". You have to have something else to justify your choice. The food was lukewarm and not a very good value. The time that elapsed from our order till we received it was a inordinate amount of time even though we were the only ones eating food that needed to be cooked. Hopefully, I just caught them on a bad day.

Shauna N.

Yelp
I really liked this place, family owned mom and pop bistro. The food has a unique flavor and approach. My boyfriend and I tend to like to try a lot of different items on the menu so we only stuck to appetizers. Let me tell you, everything we ordered was delicious. Some of the sauces/jams have a slight Indian flare to them, while the clean feel to the food adds freshness. We ordered the HOUSE BRUSCHETTA PLATE, BEEF GUJIYA, BAKED BRIE CUPS and MAMA'S SPICED CHICKEN BITES. All were delicious and unique. The beef and the brie were my for sure favorites. My suggestion is to try it out at their happy hour, the prices are much more affordable 4:30pm to 6pm weekdays - closed on Monday. All in all, if you are one that likes fresh food and unique flavors, give this a try!

Sasha A.

Yelp
My husband & I stopped by for a quick meal after a bike ride - not sure what to expect. We were so pleasantly surprised! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. They listed all the local food sources for their "from the farm/local foods" menu. They had a good selection of wines & local craft beers. They even gave us the happy hour discount when it was past 6p!. Hearing about some of the music events they have planned for upcoming weekends was intriguing too. Our experience was great from beginning to end, and we will be back.!!!!

Carol L.

Yelp
Two of us went on a Saturday evening, 7 PM. We were one of three tables seated. The wine list was very good, wines you don't see at Spec's or grocery stores. We tried a Cabernet and a Pinot, both were very good! They had a keyboardist, who was a very nice addition. Relaxed atmosphere. Ordered chicken and sausage paella. What arrived was NOT paella, but just a plain white rice dish. Flavorless chicken and tiny bits of chorizo sausage (maybe 4 oz. total) on top of plain white rice. Not worth the $18 price. If I return (for the wine), I will order something else.

Natalie R.

Yelp
This place has both good food, as well as fairly healthy menu options, which can be hard to find. It's also a bar with a decent beer and wine selection. When I went a few weeks ago, I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp and the salad with grilled salmon. The salad was excellent. I don't remember what they put on it, but it was a variety of very complementary salad ingredients including nuts and fruit. The only thing was that the chef went a little overboard with the poppyseed vinaigrette; I could have done with about half of what was poured on. Other than that, the bacon wrapped shrimp was pretty good, but very bland for my tastes. All in all, I'd recommend this place, but if you prefer food on the spicier/more savory side, you might want to look elsewhere.

Stacey W.

Yelp
It sits in the corner but it stands out among the stars!! A must try! It's Missouri City's best kept secret!! Tell your friends!! Live music on Saturday nights! Namita & Manish are truly delightful!

Katherine K.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our visit to Off the Vine Bistro this evening! The food was excellent, as was the malbec that we had not tried before. We especially liked the lamb curry and housemade chocolate cake. We'll be back!

Jeffery S.

Yelp
We took a drive to give Off the Vine Bistro a try and were very glad that we did. I would describe the place as nice/casual and they also have live music on the patio on the weekends. We started off with the stuffed mushrooms, Beef Dumplings, and Chili. The mushrooms were delicious and came with an amazing jalapeno jam with just the right amount of heat. The beef dumplings were done in a unique style that I have never seen before with a flaky crust and tender beef filling they were awesome. The chili had what you would call a traditional chili flavor but had a unique twist that made it truly special. Our main courses were curry dishes (beef and chicken) that were also very good. I should also mention that the service was outstanding and the owners came table side to explain the dishes to us. We will be going back for sure!! - cheers

Patricia E.

Yelp
Nice neighborhood locavore restaurant. Excellent service and good food. Their portions are reasonable and so are the prices.

Monika C.

Yelp
Just finished dinner. It was soooo good!! We are just here for the weekend and wanted a quick but healthy bite. This place fit the bill, I had the lamb curry and my husband had the chicken, both were excellent. We also had the lettuce wraps to start they too were fantastic. The evening was made even more special by the first ever live singer who song everything from Frank Sinatra to Katrina and the waves!! Highly recommended if you want something clean and tasty.

Yelp
Wonderful place to stop in after work and enjoy a delicious glass of wine and a fabulous cheese plate with friends. All food is Farm to Table and wines are hard to come by. This is our new Happy Hour go-to place! Thank you owners, Manesh and Nameta! They have lived in over 4 countries and we have already learned so much from them!

Yelp
A recent lunch here was the worst meal I can ever recall in a restaurant. Every item we ordered (there were five of us) was on a scale of tasteless to inedible. It's just really not good, didn't seem fresh nor appealing. Additionally, the portions were minuscule -- our average check was over $20 per person with no alcohol. We were excited to find the spot, wanted to support a local establishment and read some good reviews, but unfortunately there isn't one reason I could recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Yelp
We had an uncomfortable experience going here for the first time. Ordered the potato puff appetizer, which listed nothing about being spicy. I have allergies to peppers and immediately had a reaction. The server, who appeared to be the owner, came out and laughed at the reaction that nearly required medical treatment, offering no help and not even other food as a replacement. The food was acceptable otherwise, albeit expensive with relatively small portions. We were the only party in the restaurant however half of the food arrived burning hot and half arrived too cold. Worth giving a try for unique food, but service definitely needs improvement.

Yelp
Oh my word! We loved this place! Great drink menu but even better -- the FOOD! It was so delicious and all very fresh. I think they make everything from scratch, not from frozen. There is a chalk board that lists the local places the various foods have come from. We just shared everything with many appetizers, salads and entrees split among the table. They also have several special events and live music on Saturdays. This is now one of our new favorite places -- we will be back again!

Yelp
Went to this restaurant, wine bar when it first opened. Thought it would refreshing the way they had advertised it. Was a total bummer and disappointment. The service was slow. The person taking the order didn't know have the items on the menu. Also found the food below par. Definitely not a place I'll be going back to anytime soon. Mike

Yelp
I have never gone to a restaurant and then had to go home and prepare myself something else to eat! I met up with a friend to "catch up" and we were very disappointed with Off The Vine Bistro's food. The atmosphere was great but the food we were served was completely subpar and nothing you should ever be served in a restaurant. I ordered the tomato basil panini without a side on white bread. It was thin sliced bread you get from the grocery store and consisted of two tiny slices of tomato, two equally tiny slices of mozzarella, and a half a thumb sized piece of wilted basil on each side....the sandwich was about as thick as my pinkie finger...it was also very bland. When the food was deposited on our table, my friend and I looked at each other like you've got to be kidding. She was very disappointed with her soggy turkey and bacon sandwich also and did not feel well after our visit. I was in shock or I would have taken a picture of the paltry amount of food that was served to us...needless to say we will find someplace else to go for lunch?

Yelp
We were looking forward to trying this restaurant. Sadly, we were greatly disappointed. The food was not healthy or natural. Our appetizers were burned and my entree was a processed lunch meat. We will not be back
