The 15 Best Bars In Honolulu - Oahu - The Infatuation

"Hawai‘i’s brewery boom is at an all-time high. If only there were one place to sample multiple breweries. Enter: Off The Wall, a bar that offers one of the largest selections of locally-brewed beers in Honolulu, with 16 self-serve taps that rotate frequently. On a recent visit, we found a Japanese-style rice lager from Hana Koa Brewing and a coconut and ube stout from Howzit. But Honolulu’s brewing scene isn’t confined to beers: we’ve also tasted a Java plum mead and mango cider. With the long hightops, outdoor seating, and shareable plates (get the fish tacos and salt and vinegar wings), Off The Wall is the perfect place for group pau hanas (after work gatherings)." - martha cheng

We were in Honolulu for the day and came across Off the Wall a great tap house. We had he Pork Adobo tacos and the Verde Creama Birria bowl absolutely delicious and some great craft beers. Lalo was great. If you get a chance check it out 🌮🍻😋

We stopped by Off the Wall for happy hour without a reservation and were warmly welcomed right in. We grabbed a table outside and enjoyed the breezy (windy) atmosphere, perfect for a Friday afternoon. The food was absolutely on point. The Brussels sprouts with bacon were slightly spicy, crispy, and bursting with flavor - an absolute must order! We also tried the calamari, which was cooked to perfection and paired with a creamy cilantro sauce that took it to the next level. So good! I really appreciated that they offered a nonalcoholic beer option. I ordered the Lagunitas Hazy IPNA which was refreshing with a fruity flavor- it was like summer in a glass! It’s great to see spots like this offering something for everyone. The service was excellent from start to finish. Staff was friendly, attentive, and really made us feel at home. We’ll definitely be back for more happy hour bites and chill vibes!

Off the Wall Bar is such a fun and unique spot right on Waikiki Beach. It’s a self-serve beer and wine bar where your card is linked to a key card, giving you easy, self-vending access to a great variety of delicious options—perfect for sampling without the pressure of ordering a full pour. The food was also surprisingly great with several options to choose from. The chicken salad, in particular, was absolutely delicious and stood out as a must-try. It’s also a very cool hangout spot and an ideal pre-concert stop since it’s conveniently close to the Blaisdell concert venue. Scott was fantastic—friendly, helpful, and really added to the overall great experience. Relaxed vibes, great drinks, and solid food make this a place I’d definitely come back to. 🍷🍺

Google
Neat spot with plenty of self serve options. Didn't try any food, but the selection seemed pretty varied. Didn't love every pour I tried, but that may have been on me!

The concept of pouring your own beer is fun. The interior design is lovely. The staff was friendly. The "charcuterie board" was not ok. It tasted stale, like it had been sitting in a refrigerator for too long. After that, we decided to get dinner elsewhere. But the beer was good.

(Last visited 12/10/2022.) On vacation in Hawaii for a couple of weeks and I saw some time ago that the best wings (according to the Mashed YouTube channel) in Hawaii were here at Off The Wall Craft Beer & Wine. I'll be the judge of that... so here's how things went! Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is located inside the South Shore Mall located in Honolulu. There's no direct signage outside the lets you know this place is here, but once inside you'll see it clearly. The restaurant is beautiful though. The big windows let in a whole lot of natural light, the ceilings are super high with exposed ventilation and the structure around is a mixture of brick and wood. I really liked it in here. It was fairly quiet since it was the middle of the day during a weekday. Service: I can't remember the name of our server, but I think her name was Naomi or something like that. She was really sweet and even took the time to give us a list of about 25 other places around the islands that we should check out! She was simply awesome. Food/Drinks: So here at Off The Wall, drinks are just that. Off the wall. When you check in to the host stand they run your credit card and give you a restaurant card. With this card you're allowed to get an empty drink glass then go up to any of the available beers or wines on the wall and access them. You tap your card and then pull down on the lever. Once this happens a volume counter will begin to let you know how much has gone into your glass and then the total price is revealed to you as well. The first beer I tried was Killah Dragon cider by Paradise Ciders. It was fruity, a bit sour, not terribly sweet, but had lots of bold fruit flavors. Next up I tried Red Zeppelin by The Aloha Beer Co. This one was a bit bitter, not sweet at all, more-so on the heavy side, but a strong, hoppy, flavorful beer you'd need breaks between. When we came, we actually were able to check in on Yelp and there was an offer available where they gave you a free order of empanadas! They're big, fluffy and flaky and is served over a bed of slaw with a side of chimichurri sauce. These were INCREDIBLE. They were buttery, crispy, warm, hot, not spicy, full of meat and seasoned so well. Next up are what Mashed Food called the best wings in all of Hawaii. You get a choice of BBQ, salt & vinegar or chimichurri. The last option sounded the best so we went with those. They are gigantic. Lol. They're also topped with sesame seeds and scallions. These were... okay. I thought they would've been crispy, but they were more fleshy. The flavors were mild and not very bold, but decent. Next up I tried the Portlock Porter by Aloha Beer Co. Of course it was thicker, more down-to-earth, a little bitter, with some mild chocolate and coffee flavors. I was most impressed by how unsweet it was, which make the beer much easier to drink. Next up was the Off The Wall Burger. It was THICCC and stacked high. It came with thick hand-cut fries that were delicious and served with a nice, light aioli. On the burger is smoked gouda, bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado that I added. The burgers are cooked to your preferred temperature. I asked for medium-rare and it came out medium well. The flavors worked very well together, but weren't very bold. It was cool. Value: The empanadas that we got would've been $15.00 for the 2 had we not checked in. The wings were $17.00 and you get 6, but they're enormous so they eat more like 10. The burger was $22.00 with the fries. Things were a bit inflated here as far as pricing goes, but it's Hawaii. It just is what it is. Bring the wallet and expect to spend here. In conclusion, I enjoyed myself. I enjoyed everything that I ate, but most things could've been better. Check this place out if you're in the area.

Wow! I had only known this as beer and wine place but never expected that it has such a great brunch as well! We came here just because next door restaurant was completely full for brunch, but honestly it was as good as our experience at any of the “top notch” brunch places. Our expectation was “average bar food” but they were way beyond! I had the fried burrito and my husband got the grilled cheese sandwich.

Google
Extremely overpriced for the poor quality and lack of cleanliness. I was very disappointed with my experience here. I spent $60 for two hamburgers and one orange juice, and the quality did not match the price at all. Food preparation was unacceptable. I ordered my burgers medium, but they arrived well-done. Worse, there was actual charcoal residue stuck to the meat, which suggests the grill was not cleaned properly. For this price point, I expect fresh ingredients and a clean kitchen. I cannot recommend this place.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times and the food is decent. On the most recent visit I was disappointed by the service. My dining partner and I were hungry so we told the female staff member at the counter our food order when we gave our credit card for the drink swipe card on arrival. I asked if we got an order number and she said no, she'll bring the food over. 30 minutes later and we still had no food. When asked, the female staffer admitted she forgot to put in the order and would give us a 20% discount as compensation. Whilst eating the burger and their version of fries, I found a hair in the aioli sauce. It was definitely neither mine nor my dining partner's as we were both wearing caps and the hair was buried in. We didn't bring it to the management's attention at the time but it was definitely off putting. Then when I paid at the counter, I used a gift card and the male staffer said the balance would go onto my credit card. Okay. Three days later I check my credit card transactions online and see that the full amount was charged to my credit card. I call up the venue to dispute the charge of $30 (gift card balance) and today I see they refunded me $29. Huh?! Well needless to say, I won't be in a rush to go back. Hopefully they can improve their staff as I do like their food, and that one bad experience compromised of 3 different staff incidents isn't reflective of future service.

Yelp
I love coming here to try new beers. A lot of my favorite breweries have ciders and beers here. I like the self pour concept the most. Most times when I want to drink, but not a full beer I will suggest this place to my friends. They have beer, ciders, and wine. You check in with your ID and card at the front and they give you a "beer card" for your self-pour. Prices are reasonable but food is on the pricier side. I like the ambience. They have indoor and outdoor seating. This place is also dog friendly. Sometimes their projector will be operating with mainly football playing. I recommend this place if you're into beers! Parking is easy and located in the South Shore Market Place.

Yelp
Fun casual spot that's great for get togethers and catch-ups. They have some pretty good apps and snacks that you can share with your crew (my personal fave is the calamari), and it feels pretty good to be able to get up and grab a drink whenever you want in between chatting. There's a little something for everyone, including OJ for those who want something non-alcoholic to wind the night down (or to make mimosas, to turn it back up lol). I think the prices are fairly decent, though obviously it'll wrack up fast if you're thirsty.

Yelp
Our first time here. Located in South Shore Market on the Diamond Head side - it's across the street from Panya and Tango's. Free parking in South Shore garage. Hostess takes our credit card first then issues us their own cards to use for each tap. There are only high tables with stools inside. Regular height tables are outside inside the mall, or outside on street. Seat yourself and start trying beer, wine or make your own mimosas. The card they give you is placed on the tap, it will light up green, then you may pull tap. Once you stop pouring, the screen at tap will show ounces you poured and the cost. This automatically gets billed to the charge card you left with hostess. We tried all kinds of beer- loved the local ones like Guava Lava, Strawberry Shaved Ice, but hubby enjoyed his IPAs and Hefe. I tried the Russian River white wine but wasn't at the temperature I prefer, so mixed myself a mimosa from the Prosecco tap and orange juice tap! Ono!! When you wish to order food, and you will, head to the same hostess stand and she punches in the order for you, will then bring to your table with napkins and cutlery. She was very good and made sure we were doing okay. Food- We ordered the right things! Calamari was the best I'd ever had, the right flavor, crunch without too much, and perfect size. The ahi nachos were awesome and thrilled with plentiful chunks of ahi with a surprise of caviar topping! The chicken wings were nice fat tender ones with choice of sauce. Then we needed sweets and they have several desserts so we loved the churros all cut up with choc sauce and side of fruit with whipped cream. The experience was fun - trying all the beers was something hubby loved and the food was a definite win! So much so that we ordered the fried chicken sandwiches to take home for dinner! Also yum!!

Yelp
So grateful for Scott and the entire team at Off the Wall for providing Tool Army with a perfect location to gather and enjoy delicious food and drinks! Will definitely be back! Mahalo!

Yelp
Overall I've had a good experience both times I've been here. Food is good and they have a great selection of beer and wine that is pour by the oz. It's a fun spot to go out with friends. Something for everybody.

Yelp
First time here and we were hungry! Ordered the poke nachos & Brussel sprouts. Let me say the cashier/host/server Scott was excellent, friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the wonton chips for the nachos were perfectly cooked however, horribly over salted with flaky sea salt! Absolutely awful, my friend and I were so bummed because this dish was really excellent with both green and black tobiko and the poke quality was amazing! The brussel sprouts were crispy and quite good, but also a little too salty for my taste but otherwise crispy and good bacon bits! The space was clean and air-conditioned and we really liked being able to try whatever beers we wanted at whatever amount we chose. Great variety of beers on tap!

Yelp
Been here a few times since moving to the area. Good location at Ward Village. Plenty of parking if you need it. Cool concept of being able to pour your own drinks. Good selections of drinks and food . Happy hour is not bad either. Drinks are self serve. Nice chill bar/lounge ambiance. Outdoor seating is available as well.

Yelp
I was hungover as hell and I was about to crash out that morning cuz scratch kitchen was closed next door for renovations. I very loudly proclaimed that I was going to take my own life and the fella stacking chairs on the patio of Off the Wall was like "oh? You guys want brunch? You have fifteen minutes over here if you wanna come in" and I was immediately sold. Ten out of five points for customer service and five of those points are for the food! We got the pancakes and the breakfast bagel. I took a picture of the pancakes and they were exactly what I needed, the fruit compote was so yummy too! I would totally buy jars of the jam if they were available. I didn't get a picture of my bagel but I really wish I did because the presentation was nice! Two eggs, bacon, cheese, bagel, fries on the side. Best hangover meal ever. Despite the hangover though, the beer wall was very enticing especially because it's by the ounce .... Next time though! Thanks for saving my life this morning :] I will definitely be back

Yelp
Located in the South Shore Market, Off The Wall is a self-serve craft beer and wine bar. Check in at the host stand with your ID and a credit card to receive a drink card, which lets you pour your own drinks from their wall selection of craft beer, wine, and seltzers. The best part? They are super pet friendly! Both inside and out on their patio. Recently came in for happy hour which runs Monday-Friday 3-5pm where they have 15% off all of their draught drinks. They also have food items like $2 wings (but you don't get to choose the flavor), fried calamari, brussel sprouts, ahi nachos, and hummus all on a happy hour deal. I walked back up to the cashier/host stand to order food, which I believe is their usual procedure. And then they did deliver it to our table when it was ready. The staff and service is stellar and the location is really just a whole vibe. I brought my laptop and did some work from their outdoor patio while sipping on a Matsumoto shave ice collab seltzer. Can't wait to go back and do it again!

Yelp
Came on the evening of Valentine's Day. It was fairly crowded but the staff were amazing and attentive. It was our first time going but the host did an amazing job showing us the ropes and getting us seated. We had a reservation, so we were able to sit away from the bar seating area. The food was great and served quickly. My favorite were the fries! If you're looking for a casual date spot, this is your place. You can't go wrong with live music and good eats!
google avatar

Yelp
One of our Ubers during this trip referred this place to us. It's in a less busy part of Honolulu. I'll say about a 10 minute walk from the Alamoana shopping center. It was perfect for us because you pay by how much you drink and you can decide which beverages you like and how much you want. The food was also very good. We weren't super hungry so we just shared a couple empanadas and the hummus plate. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. A cool, chill vibe and very affordable!

Yelp
I've only been to OTW a couple times but never for their brunch which is available on Sat & Sun from 10-2 am. I'm not a big beer drinker but you know I love a good brunch. It's located in South Shore Market in Ward. What we ordered: Smoked Gravlax -- Big Time Bagel (half) with tobiko cream cheese + pickled red onions + home fries. I want a side of this tobiko cream cheese to take home! OTW Pancakes -- 2 Pancakes w/berry compote and dulce de leche whipped cream Biscuits & Gravy -- House biscuits w/2 fried eggs w/chorizo sausage Breakfast Chimichanga -- Filled with scrambled eggs, chorizo, shredded cheese and chipotle We also ordered a side of their wedge fries. Everything was pretty good here! No complaints. I especially liked my bagel and the pancakes.

Yelp
Good music, good atmosphere, and good food. The charcuterie dish is a good one to share:)

Yelp
This was my first time at a pour-yourself style beer/wine location. Apparently they exist back in CA/NV but I've never been to one until this location in Hawaii! Everything is done through a card that you tap above each tap which measures how much of which beverage you've poured. This was great for me because I am not super familiar with what styles of beer I really prefer so it was nice being able to experiment a bit without committing to a giant glass of beer that I might not like. They had a pretty wide variety and I really enjoyed some of their pilsner and sour options! The location was also great as it was located in a shopping area so we were able to walk around and visit some local boutique shops as well.

Yelp
10/10 for double date night! I loved the low lighting and the high tables right next to all the beer and wine taps. I love a good pour it yourself place because you can try as much or as little as you want. Everything paired nicely with the crazy, delicious amount of food that we got! Chimichurri wings! Drool! 10/10! Fried calamari - perfect crunch! Papas bravas- 1000/10!!!! This with the chipotle aoli! Wow! Drooling all over again! Pork adobo tacos were so flavorful! Oh my goodness! My favorite meal of the night!!!!!!! Everything was delicious and if you're looking for a date night spot, go here!!! You'll have a great time and leave with your bellies full!!!!

Yelp
We went here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is in a mall and doesn't have many private tables. It does have ample high top seating. It's pretty much a self serve restaurant with the exception of them bringing the meal out. You even order at the register. All the meals were very good. Bacon cheeseburger cooked perfectly to order, chicken sandwich was very good and a rice bowl with chicken, good but needed some spice. Potatoes bravos were awesome. There are about 15 beer taps, 5 wine taps and self making mimosa taps. You get a card, pour your own drink and pay by the ounce so you can try everything if you desire or just get a pint. No joke this was the first place I had a great craft beer that was actually cold while in Hawaii. The only downside is the prices per ounce of beer are a bit higher but I guess you pay for the novelty of being able to try so many. The price are listed on the tap and the screen updates you for every purchase, so you know what you owe and how much you have drank.
google avatar

Yelp
Loved the experience. They had a wide assortment of sours, which I love. It was a self serve bar where you pour off the tap; similar to a yogurt shop in that aspect. I found the descriptions helpful and easy to understand.
google avatar

Sadie N.

Yelp
Great concept for self service drinks, pour and try as much as you want from all available options! Very woody themed location, but I imagine when it is busy, there is no wiggle room to truly enjoy looking at all drinks and walking through others back to your seating area. Food notable mentions were the fries and their paired sauce and the tortilla that was used in the taco! Otherwise it felt like simple selection of decent party food.
google avatar

Yelp
Off The Wall is located in the Southshore Marketplace. They are known for their local beers, which are self served and self poured. You can fill your glass to the brim or as little as you want. Simply give them your credit card and they will give you a card tracking your pours.

Yelp
My daughter and I met with my friends to celebrate a few birthdays. It was so convenient with a large group since you can open a tab to order food and also to select your own beer, cider, wine. You don't have to wait to order your drink. You receive a card when you open a tab and pour the drinks yourself. I felt like drinking something on the sweet side so I poured myself a glass of pineapple li hing cider which was really yummy. We each ordered dishes to share as pupus. The dishes were delicious. My favorite were the empanadas and fries, but we also had calamari, charcuterie board, salads, shrimp and dessert - all very tasty. I will definitely return!

Yelp
You go for the beer and wine but the food will leave you speechless . Oh my goodness, I just couldn't believe how good everything was. I love that you self serve your drinks so you can pick your flavor and size. I love trying a little taste of many. the food came out fast and hot, service was on point! Cool chill vibe, a place to hang out with your friends and family, have a good drink and eat amazing food!!!! Go eat, drink and be merry! Trust me you can't go wrong with this place!

Yelp
Stopped by after work for a quick drink and will be visiting Off The Wall more often! Upon entering you'll be given a tap card for your self-service pours. Concept is easy, you choose from a wall of beer, wine, cider, or whatever else they may have on draft when you visit. Grab a cup, place your card in the card reader and pour. As your cup fills, the screen will tell you how many ounces you're at and what the price is. It's indoors so it's nice and cool, with some tables inside and outside (even the outside tables are still indoors since they're located inside of Ward Village). At my next visit, I do want to try some food. They have a happy hour (Mon-Fri 3pm-5pm) that I'm excited to try out as well. I love how it's a great way to try different drinks without having to commit to a full drink. They showcase local breweries and have a rotating menu, so it's a fun spot to meet up with friends or just grab a drink.

Yelp
Great service and ambiance! We sat outside and it almost felt like we were in Spain seeing people walk by as we ate our empanadas and patatas bravas. We also got their beef tacos, which were good but I think their pork might be better per the server's recommendation. Def will try next time! Their empanadas were fire. So delish! Their ahi ceviche was okay, not the freshest ahi. Their beer tap is a fun concept but we thought it was a bit pricey. But overall it was a great experience!

Yelp
Friendly and excellent service from start to finish! We walked in during lunch time and there was ample seating. There was also a roped off section for those wanting to sit outside of their doors. Long clean tables with high chairs. The host nicely explained the 2 house rules which is posted also on the walls. Please take a new glass each time you fill up and go to the host to order. No waiter will come to you for food orders! The drinks are clearly labelled. Fellow parents will be delighted to know there's Keiki dishes and juice too. Friendly ambiance with customer restrooms.

Yelp
This place sis I overlooked . Honestly we only came because scratch kitchen was closed and I was terrified expecting sub par bar food (I also don't drink) however we decided to give it a try and I was wrong ! I got the chicken sandwich with hot honey and it came with steak fried my daughter got a burger and my kids got the chicken quesadillas .. not one complaint from the table. We don't drink soda and the orange juice was the only beverage non alcoholic on tap which was fine with me. They also had our favorite ice creams pop culture which was so unexpected and a perfect way to end lunch . The service was easy you basically put everything on a tab which I like much more than waiting for the checks to come . The seating was nice and cool inside and even though it was a pretty busy day it was enjoyable.

Yelp
I'm not a beer drinker so I'm glad they had wine and other selections. The Java Plum Rose was my favorite. The foods provided were amazing. The tacos were the best. The servers were top notch. Casual but comfortable atmosphere. Very nice place to hang out after work!

Yelp
This is a great, self-service, taproom in South Shore Market at Ward, just inside the entrance off Auahi, next to Scratch Kitchen (outside entrance) and across from Always A-line. How it works: Show ID and place a credit card on file, and you receive a tap card. Each taste or glass, you choose which style cup, use the rinse machine, and place the cup under the tap, insert the card above, and it tells you the cost per ounce. Replace the cup in the wash bin and grab a new glass at every pour. You order food from the register, but they are great about delivery and checking on you. Beer, mostly always local. Wine on tap, typically 6 options. Presently, they have prosecco and OJ to make your own mimosas! There is a small stage for live music. Seating is indoor, outdoor, and in the hall of the market. Parking is free in the attached garage. Restrooms nearby, shared by the shops at the market. The food is delicious, and they have a pretty extensive menu. Great presentation upon delivery. Pupus, burgers, salads, tacos, and dessert options. Family friendly. You can make reservations for big groups as well.

Yelp
If you're in Honolulu and looking for a solid spot to grab some craft beer and wine, Off The Wall is where it's at! Located in the lively Kaka'ako district, this place has a killer vibe and an impressive lineup of local brews that'll satisfy even the most discerning beer lover. The staff knows their stuff and is always ready to help you pick out something that hits the spot. They frequently host live music, which adds to the laid-back atmosphere--perfect for kicking back with friends after a long day. One of the best parts? It's dog-friendly, so you can bring your four-legged buddy along while you enjoy a cold one. The process is easy. They give you a card at the dorm which you use each time you pour a drink then you pay for the total at the end. I like the tacos, the brussel sprouts, empanadas and the Kona Kampachi Ceviche

Yelp
Great experience. The manager was awesome and very friendly and helpful. They were out of the poke bowl my wife wanted, and then she wanted the fried chicken sandwich, but they were out of that too. She settled with a burger. She liked it. Steak sandwich was good, empanadas were really good as well as the calamari. The staff coolness saved this review!

Yelp
Great atmosphere, and such a wonderful selection of local brews! The food is fantastic. I will get the lomo saltado again.

Yelp
I liked this place. So cool to try all the crafted beer but it's pricey!! Just be aware of that... 3/4 glass cup could cost you $15. Depending what kind beer you get. We ordered empandas and a charcuterie board. Empandas beef stuffing was DRY! Charcuterie board was basic, wasn't anything special for the price! Could been better. Overall it was alright.

Their food is absolutely amazing. Service is the best we have experienced in the city. I love the beverages on tap!

Yelp
It seems like pouring your own beer is a new trend. It can be costly though because you might forget that it's not all you can beer unlike food buffet. But freedom to choose your own drink is nice and fun. We were supposed to go eat at Scratch Kitchen nearby but instead we wanted to try this place. Such a trendy restaurant with inside and outside sittings. We sat inside in front of the small stage area. Staff are very helpful and friendly. They do scan your credit card and give you a beer card before you get seated. We ordered some food like grilled cheese and hamburger. Two pieces of empanadas were complimentary if you check in on Yelp. I was pleasantly surprised as I haven't gotten a Yelp check in complimentary in a long time. Grilled cheese was definitely excellent with some pork in them. Hamburger patty was on the rare side even though we ordered medium. Both of the entrees came with monster fries perfect tasting with your drinks. So don't be like us and order fries on the side. This is a definitely a nice, trendy place to hangout. They also wines so don't think it's only for beer drinkers.

Yelp
Amazing birthday party held here... went back the next week as the food was really good!

Yelp
My friends and I came here for dinner on a Friday night. It's located in South Short Marketplace, so there's lots of free parking, which I love! It does get pretty busy on Friday nights, but there's almost always parking on the top level. We made reservations through Open Table, and I'm glad we did because when we were leaving, it got really crowded. It's sorta dark and loud inside, so it was hard to have a conversation. Everyone is rung up separately and given a card. There's a variety of beers and wines, and you tap your card against the wall and start pouring. I don't really drink, but I had a sip of some of my friend's drinks. Everything is really clean inside, and they always had a lot of glasses out for the different types of drinks. Aside from the drinks, the food was amazing! I got the fish tacos. There was a generous portion of fish inside, and the toppings and sauces were really flavorful. I would honestly come back here just for these tacos.

Yelp
Hip and urban environment for drinks and food. Sometimes they have live music as well. Cool that you can sample different drinks off the wall to see what you like, without committing to a whole glass. Food was good.

Yelp
I got invited to a dinner and my friend made reservations here. Parking is easy, and location is great. You can find other stuff to do after you eat here. And don't forget to check in on Yelp for some free empanadas! Let's start off with the free empanadas! It was crunchy, and very tasty! If I knew, I would've just ordered this too. I also ordered the shrimp burger, it wasn't what I was expecting. Actually, I don't even know what I'm expecting but it wasn't that. It had no texture at all and there was some sauce on it, it was sour and very salty, not a fan. There was also a side sauce, some aioli type which I liked with my fries. Btw, their fries are cut bigger than your usual fries. I also liked how you can pour or dispense, not sure which verb to use, yourself your own beer. I'm not a beer drinker but I thought it was pretty cool. My husband loves beer, so I'll definitely take him here! Staff was exceptional as well. Very kind and attentive.

Yelp
This is such a great concept! You get a 'charge card' and you can draw your own beer and try as many as you want (pay by the ounce)! Its like a beer (& wine) buffet . They also have great food - I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the tomato basil bisque- very flavorful, and John ordered the chicken sandwich with potato wedges and (warning) spicy honey dip! Yum

Yelp
Our first dinner on this trip.... Some bites were delicious, some were kinda gross. Service was ok. Pros- steak sandwich was tasty, the potatoes and dip, also very delicious (quite addictive!), empanadas, not quite what I was expecting, but tasty just the same. Cons- my grilled cheese with carnitas, it was so salty, everything I ate afterwards just tasted like salt. Brussel sprouts had almost a spoiled flavor. Both of these were disappointing, but grilled cheese was the worst. It ruined everything else for me.... Scratch Kitchen next door is way better for food. If you want to try a bunch of different beers on tap and/or wine, this could be your spot.

Yelp
Cute place. Workers nice and pretty helpful. Thought there would be a lot more beer options than there were. Just a short wall. Food was okay. Little pricey. I wanted 2 pupus instead of a meal but wasn't about to spend $40 on a vegetable and bar food. Had the grilled cheese...comes with pork. Messy but pretty yummy. Giant fries aren't my thing. But I cut out the center and fed it to the little girl and she liked that... Also ordered her a quesadilla off the kids menu for her. HOLY KOGE. BURNT BURNT BURNT. Tasted terrible and could not feed it to her. I can see serving that crap to an adult, but a kid? Should have sent it back but oh well. Just won't go back.

Yelp
After unsuccessfully getting a table for brunch at a nearby eatery, we inquired at OTW for a table. Although it was a crowded, busy Sunday morning full of reservations, we lucked out as one party was wrapping up their meal. Less than 10 minutes after checking in and we were seated. Off the Wall offers about 18 craft beers and 6 wines that are self-serve. My hubby found a couple that sounded good and helped himself to a locally-made sour ale and an IPA. Once you've got your table, they give you a card that you can use to scan and pour yourself as much beer as you like. Food-wise, you order at the host stand whenever you're ready. We ordered a veggie burger with the papas and a quinoa salad. I had asked for no feta on the salad, but before it even arrived, the manager(?) said that he accidentally typed no tofu on my order so he had the kitchen remake my salad. The menu is small, but the food we got was really good. Glad we were able to check them out!

Yelp
Located at Southshore Market where TJMaxx and Nordstrom Rack is, free parking. We arrived around 1pm some traffic for shopping , coffee spot packed but Offthewall has only a couple. we were asked to give our credit card to start the order without even sitting down at a table, I guess if you are interested in drinking wine or beer, you are given a drink recharge card, no iced tea available and if you don't want sweet drink, there is nothing for you. hubby wanted to try their 7cheese grilled cheese sandwich $24, come with half a plate of potato fries. Also ordered ,basic, burger, add avocado total cost $29! tasted okay but definitely way too pricey, Suggested tomato soup was not ready yet but they did not take off that charge when we pay the bill ( we only noticed this after the entire dinner was paid with 20% tip! I guess their marketing effort is the self service various drink tabs availability, we probably would not return again.

Yelp
This place is always convenient when in Ward. Lots of tap options and it's fun to be able to try so many different beers. They also have ciders and wines as well. The staff was kind and friendly and there's also a large array of food options to choose from as well. My significant other and I were in the area and had a little time to spare and it was a nice place to sit and enjoy for a while. There's inside and outside options, both air conditioned well. Would highly recommend for that after work hangout or a chill place for a nice break on the weekend!

Yelp
Updating my review after speaking to the manager Scott who went above and beyond in customer service. I appreciate his openness to feedback and dedication to making things right. We had a candid conversation where I truly felt my feedback was being heard and hope it will prompt changes going forward. Now a review for the food and drinks: Off the Wall has a pretty good variety of drinks available ranging from sours, IPAS, seltzers, wine and even prosecco (although this was tapped out when we went). The pour-your-own system is a great way to try out different drinks and they had a delicious Matsumoto Shaved Ice Li Hing Pineapple seltzer on tap that I probably wouldn't have tried otherwise. Food was good as well, we ordered the ahi nachos, beef empanadas, chicken verde bowl and calamari. Everything was spot on but the empanadas were the best - can definitely see why they're a best seller! All in all, I hope our experience was just a fluke and would be willing to give this spot another try thanks to Scott's superb service.
