I had a lovely experience visiting the Buly 1803 store in Paris. From the moment I stepped inside, the elegant atmosphere and vintage apothecary vibe made it feel like I’d entered another era. A special shout-out to Caroline, who was incredibly sweet and accommodating throughout my visit. She made me feel very welcome and helped me choose the perfect items. While the prices were definitely on the higher end, I treated myself to a hand cream and an eau de toilette as a birthday gift — and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase 🥰. The quality and presentation of the products are absolutely beautiful.

It was a very nice experience in the shop. I bought the brush and the perfume, the clerk was very patient and took a lot of time to make it pleasant. Very pricey but you don’t do it every day so you can spoil yourself there. For the men to wait, there is also a cafe bar.

Such a beautiful store and shopping experience. This place heaven for finding unique beauty and homeware products for gifting or as a souvenir from your Paris trip. Handmade combs, brushes, perfumes, and creams that can be personalised with your initials. Also perfect for a little break at their lovely bar!

I don't know about the perfume but the cafe in the same store is amazing. The barista was professional, friendly and graceful. Her coffee were delicious, I ordered coffee with a hint of creme, surssok white coffee was delicious, and the barista even made a special affogato that was out of this world. 4 drinks only came to 14.5 euros. You can let the person at the door you're just coming for coffee then skip the line.

About 20-30 mins wait and then you get to step in into a world of amazing oil based perfumes, mirrors, hair combs, mirrors, lip balms et al. You can get your name engraved as well in a calligraphic font of your choice ( they have a card with options). You do get a set of cards to smell and choose your perfume, hand cream etc from and as well get to keep those cards for later. I would definitely be ordering the perfumes online and the cards definitely would come in handy. A cafe in there does help you with your coffee cravings and any sweet tooth urges that need to be addressed.

Beautiful shop with lovely variety of perfumes. I stopped in to get a gift for my sister who is a bride to be. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave great suggestions and explanations of products. I can’t wait to come back and get something for myself.

Some years ago, hand cream from the brand gained considerable popularity, and I too found myself gifting it to friends. Its reputation led me to believe that the brand’s face cream and toothpaste might also be of exceptional quality. Regrettably, the toothpaste had a rather bland, apple-like taste—quite underwhelming, particularly for someone accustomed to the brisk, refreshing flavour of strong mint. After two or three uses, I found it wholly unsatisfactory and discarded it. As for the Pommade Virginale face cream, I did purchase it and gave it a fair trial. However, I noticed no discernible improvement. I repeated the process several times—purchasing, applying, and then discarding the cream in hopes of eventual results—but alas, even the slightest change eluded me. The hand cream, though quite pleasant, came in a rather large tube, making it cumbersome to carry. Furthermore, once the tube became bent, it would often crack at the crease, allowing the cream to leak—most inconvenient. Nowadays, the price has risen significantly, making it less accessible. I daresay, if the brand were to offer a smaller, more portable version at a modestly reduced price, many would find it far easier to purchase without hesitation.

I walked in at just past 6:30pm on a very rainy Tuesday afternoon this week and despite last orders being at 6:30pm for the lip balms, Caroline was so sweet and took my order for four lip balms. I had been in the store the day before too and again, all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The same goes for the boutique up the street too. Even though it was almost 7pm and time for the staff to finish and close shop, I never felt rushed. Caroline spent a long time chatting away with me and was so kind to even recommend duty free and where to go to claim it at Gare Du Nord as I would never have known. I really loved my shopping experience here and thrilled with the final products too and can't wait to give them as gifts. Thanks again, Caroline. You are an asset to Officine Universalle Buly 💕

This was a really cool experience. They sell vintage styled perfumes, lip balm, toothbrushes and a few other things. I came here specifically to buy a leather engraved lip balm. While the lip balm is simple with no added scents, you get to choose the tin holder, the leather in which you can get your initials engraved as well as a pouch. It's definitely a cute gift idea to bring back home and the staff were pleasant as well

This place is like stepping back in time to shop for custom lotions, body oils and perfumes. The staff treated us like we were buying a Rolls Royce! We were actually... the Rolls Royce of custom body creams. Enjoy a beautiful cup of tea or coffee while you shop.
