Offshore 9 Rooftop Lounge

We had visited this lounge about a year ago with some friends and loved it so we decided to go back when we had an opportunity. Unfortunately some things had changed and not for the better save the remodel that added some coverings. First the pro: the view is phenomenal, no doubt about that. You get a great almost 270 degree view of Huntington Beach, the Pacific Ocean, etc. Now for the cons: The prices equate to how high up the lounge sits, as in, you will pay top dollar for everything. We expected to pay higher for the location but $28 for three sliders is a little much. The second con: the aforementioned sliders underwhelmed to say the least and if you’re paying almost $10/per slider the quality should follow. Final con: I ordered a glass of wine, truthfully this one wasn’t too overpriced, $14 for a glass of Cab. The con is that the glass of cab was about 4 sips of cab, didn’t seem worth it. I get it, they are probably cutting and trimming as much as possible to be able to stay out of the red but the downside to that is they’ll be hard pressed to enjoy repeat customers. Who knows, maybe we’ll come back in a year and things will be back to better.

The food was absolutely delicious—every bite hit the spot. But the real showstopper? That sunset view. It was nothing short of breathtaking.

Great place with amazing views! Offshore 9 Rooftop Lounge is a beautiful spot with absolutely stunning views—perfect for a relaxing evening. Our server was excellent: friendly and attentive. The menu is small and simple, but the pizza was great—I definitely recommend it. It was a bit chilly when we arrived, and since we were with kids, it would’ve been nice if blankets were available. Fortunately, they turned on the heaters later and it got much more comfortable. Prices are on the higher side, but overall, it’s a wonderful place worth visiting!

The view is unbelievable and the highest rooftop overlooking Hungtington Beach. It was fun to walk the property before going upstairs. Sunset is the best time. The service was great and although it was a simple menu the food was good and cocktails fresh. Sunset is the time to go and perfect place for a date. This should be on your list.

This rooftop bar was awesome! Comfy lounging couches with fire pits, high top tables. Great choices for the bar and food! We enjoyed a espresso martini 🍸 and a devil drink which I forgot the whole name ( tequila) the views are amazing!! Ocean front located on the 9th floor . Definitely check this place out when in town!

What a disappointment! Called the day of to inquire about the rooftop, was told "to come in" to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we got married at the Hilton. When we got there it was closed for a private party, literally only came here to celebrate and watch the sunset. Had to go into lobby bar to get a drink and wait for it to open back up to "the public"which btw was absolutely awful, took us 10 minutes to get a bartender to help us, literally had to walk into service well to get their attention. When we came back up, they would not let us bring the drinks we just purchased from the hotel and they were very rude and dismissive, it was only 7:15pm. Your operating procedures need to be updated, the hotel front desk and staff need accurate up to date information on closures and the rooftop staff need an attitude adjustment. I understand taking the contracted huge bill, though transparency would have been nice. 1 star for all because we never had the opportunity to even come in.

Beautiful lounge overlooking the beach. Wish I was there earlier to see the sunset, watched from the pool instead 👍🏻 ordered the Devils margarita, definitely wasn't worth $20 but hey. Also ordered a bottle of champagne 🍾 which was definitely worth it

Hands down the best rooftop lounge experience--every single time. From the moment you walk in, you're treated like gold, and that's 100% because of Sean (manager) and Gilbert (bartender). Sean runs this place with such warmth, attention, and professionalism--you can truly feel how much he cares about the experience of every guest. He makes the rooftop feel welcoming, elevated, and fun all at once. And Gilbert... absolute legend behind the bar. Drinks are always perfectly made, consistent, and somehow even better than the last time. He remembers you, your vibe, and exactly how to make the night feel special. That kind of service is rare. Huge shoutout as well to Desirèe, who adds such a great energy to the space and rounds out the experience beautifully. This rooftop is our go-to because of the people. The views are amazing, the drinks are flawless--but it's Sean and Gilbert who truly make it unforgettable. Can't wait to be back (again and again).

I usually don't rate this low but with no response on a message I left on vmail or on a email I need to address this problem Made birthday dinner reservations on a tues at 6pm for 6 people for a friend Their reservation website and goggle claim it was open on Monday and Tuesday So Tuesday reservation were made and the system allowed me to make reservations To my arrival it was closed. Definitely made the night not what we expected had to go somewhere else with my party of 6 abs eat til 730pm Iam a local to the area and always dine downstairs and at this point I don't think I will be back Not even a response or call from the restaurant. Please change your website to correct hours of operations

Meh! Kinda boring. Empty, I think only guests who stay here know about this place. Ok so to be fair, the place is beautiful and it's a hidden roof top with ocean view that I had in clue existed in OC. I have been to every roof top in LA and OC and don't know about this place. Food was ok. Drinks were meh, we were there for a friends b day and we were the ONLY people there except 1-2 hotel guests . Kinda boring. Sad because the location as so much potential

The place on the 9th floor would be cool but it was not just cool , it was ice-cold! And since the heaters apparently did not work, the freezing part was very unpleasant ! Fortunately, the food and drinks were very good: Lobster wontons, chipotle chicken flatbread, and the charcuterie board were wonderful.

I've frequented this place before. It's been a minute though. We came here on a Friday evening around 6 PM. Find parking in the front at metered it's a lot cheaper than parking in the hotel. This hotel rooftop is located at the waterfront hotel, which is a beautiful hotel. Rooftop on floor nine. Service is excellent. Food is decent but pricey. What do you expect with that view of Huntington Beach across the way. They made recent renovations and it has made the place so much nicer because now it has an awning with glass windows that can close off from the breeze. I love this place for this year vibes. I'll always be back.

The good, the bad, the redeemable. Curious about the rooftop bar me and my two friends came here on a rather mellow night. We were warmly greeted at the entrance by the most welcoming lady. She seemed like someone I could share a drink with. We found seats in the corner at this low height patio couch. We admired the view, and looked over what appeared to be a great menu. We sat and chatted, discussing our week, and after awhile started questioning if this was a self-serve venue as we didn't see any staff. Right as we debated going to the bar this couple came and sat near us. A server came by and greeted them, offered them water, and pointed out the menu. As the server left we discussed how he'd likely come by and say something when he returned. The couple decided they didn't like their seat so they moved closer to us. The server returned, talked to the couple, and we apparently were invisible. The server would not look in our direction. We tried getting his attention again and nothing. At a certain point, realizing we were here for 30 minutes with no acknowledgement we left. ' Why 3 stars instead of 1? Because on the way out I voiced my frustrations. The manager was there, listened with empathy, and offered to make things right. I appreciated the gesture despite not taking it. We were too frustrated and tired and opted to go back to our rooms.

Decent rooftop bar and lounge in the waterfront hotel in HB. It's in the second tower, so there is a bit of a walk if you arrive at the main hotel. Walking through the hotel was interesting, as there were many areas along the walk (the Cabo wabo restaurant and the pool area). Everyone that we encountered was friendly and relaxed. Parking is $30, but you can get it validated and pay $10 under 3 hours. The view from the lounge was very nice- probably even better at night or on July 4th Makes me want to pay $500 plus a night and try the hotel out, although the reviews don't match the property, which looked 4-5 star.

My friend and I came to Offshore 9 on a Sunday afternoon specifically to catch the sunset--and it did not disappoint! We pulled into the hotel and were happy to find valet parking with a discount once validated--super convenient. Once we got up to Offshore 9, we were lucky to grab a table just as another group was leaving. Perfect timing! I ordered an espresso martini, and wow--it was absolutely delicious and strong. Just what I needed. The servers were incredibly friendly and attentive, which really made the experience even better. The view was stunning--we had the perfect spot to watch the sunset over the ocean. Between the atmosphere, great service, and beautiful scenery, it was such a relaxing and memorable time. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy good drinks with an amazing view. Will definitely be back!

Had the best time with my friends here last week! They recently got a new menu that I was so excited to try out. I highly recommend the sangria and honey chipotle chicken flatbread. Also love the DJ they have here on the weekends! They play house music and it's the perfect vibe and ambience to watch the sunset.

Came here during a gloomy/cloudy evening. Surprisingly there is an actual roof for this bar! You can see the ocean from the seating area and it's a really nice place to just sit back, wind down, and relax with some alcohol (also have mocktails) while looking at the view. I ordered 2 drinks, the Cat 5 Sangria and Blood Orange Sour (whiskey based). Both were pretty good but very slightly on the stronger side. Service is quick, efficient, and the server was super friendly and humorous. It's a "rooftop" lounge in the sense that it still has a roof or shelter above you. Would rec if you're looking for place to drink and chat.

This lounge is located in the Waterfront Hotel in Huntington Beach. If you are not staying at the hotel, you have to get your car valet'ed for up to 30 dollars. Lots of fancy expensive cars in the driveway. The hotel is resort like, very busy, it's of kids and loud noises and wedding events etc. The lounge is a great distance from the lobby as you have to walk down a long hall and take 2 elevators. The rooftop implies, you are facing the beach. A relaxing vibe with hip hop music playing in the background. We didn't order any food, and the menus was alright. We had some drinks and lounge and people watched. Definitely worth a visit and stay at the hotel.

We had a small family get together at Offshore 9 and it was great! Our servers Sofia and Jose were very nice and provided excellent service. The drinks were tasty, thanks to Gilbert! The food was also delicious, especially the baked Brie appetizer, the chicken flat bread and the sliders. The manager, Sean, was very attentive. Finally, the views of PCH and the beach at night were beautiful and the DJ music brought a cool vibe. Overall it was a lovely evening. We will be going back!!

Went with my family on Friday and had a wonderful experience! The service was outstanding! Our server, Sofia was super attentive. The ambiance was also stunning looking over the beach. The food was great, especially the flatbread! 10/10

We had the oysters, shrimp cocktail, potstickers, and hummus trio. It was delicious. Loved the sangria as well. The service was friendly and excellent. Loved gonzo! The ambiance was perfection. Cool breeze, sunshine and the whole ocean to look at.

As beautiful as it tastes, the blackberries were truly fresh and this was a refreshing drink to enjoy. as the sun set. The purple orchid lei to top the drink was beautiful. -Truffle fries: Fries were well-seasoned. There were 2 sauces: a wannabe tartar sauce and ketchup. -Southwestern Vegetable Flatbread: Crispy crust and amazing flavor! Loved the garnish and presentation on a wooden board. Ambiance// There was DJing on a Saturday evening. The sunset view was really nice but it was a bit windy. Note: this was a first come, first serve seating situation.

We enjoyed our evening at 9 Rooftop Lounge celebrating our friends birthday. The new tables are a little small but the seating was comfy. The sunset did not disappoint. I believe the server who was standing in for the other server was named Emily. She knew every item on the menu and made the perfect suggestions of plates for us to share. She also recommended specialty cocktails that were a hit. We went there because of the community night for locals and got free validated parking. A heads up if you go there to watch the sunset and stay more than 3 hours you will get charged $30 per vehicle by the valet even with the validation.

What an amazing rooftop bar and the view is incredible, the food was delicious, I order the Brie cheese and I loved it, it is wrapped with a crisp hand made bread that is baked with the cheese, I also ordered the hummus, what a beautiful presentation, and delicious, the craft cocktails were amazing as well, the service was on point and the staff was very friendly and nice. If you are looking for a nice and elegant rooftop, look no more this it the place in Huntington Beach, I will be coming back soon.

This rooftop bar has a dreamy view of the ocean across the street, a relaxed vibe and great music mixed by a live DJ several nights. The drinks were outstanding and the food the same. I will definitely be coming again.

This place has such a beautiful view, great vibes and many friendly workers. I want to give a shout out to Kelly B. She was such an amazing server, she was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food and drinks were amazing and I ordered based on Kelly's recommendations she did not steer me wrong. She also heard it was my birthday and surprised me with a special treat which was so thoughtful. I cannot wait to come back here!

Our server Brielle was very friendly and helpful. She made great suggestions and took great care of us. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Unfortunately, we arrived after sunset, so we didn't see much of the view. We're sure it would have been spectacular. The construction of the building it's interesting -- there are permanent openings between the window frames. This is probably fine most of the year, but the day after a big storm it was a bit cold. What was really funny, though, was that we didn't notice there was no ceiling until someone closed the retractable slats. That made a big difference, and we were more comfortable afterward. We shared the Mediterranean Blackened Shrimp, Shaken Tortellini, and Cream Puff Trio for dessert. All were delicious, well presented, and generous portions. Very nice selections of wine and beer too.

Lovely evening at Offshore 9, made even better by our friendly, easy-going and attentive server Brielle. We went for their local Tuesday special and had a great time. Her recommendations were spot on--Tortellini Ragout and Mediterranean Blackened Shrimp salad paired perfectly with wine for me, beer for my partner. Leave room for the Profiterole Trio for dessert! Brielle went the extra mile to make our visit an extra special celebration.

Love this place for drinks and quick bites after a day at the pool. This is our second time at the rooftop and it never disappoints. We take a short drive from San Diego to enjoy "locals summer" when the tourists and crowds are much smaller. Kelly was an amazing waitress and suggested the Honey Chipotle flatbread. We will definitely order it again in the future. My husband and I shared the Asian salad and it was delicious. All the drinks are made well and the view is perfect with a DJ playing music into the evening. This is a perfect rooftop for all ages with a million dollar view of HB! We will definitely be back soon,

Great service, newly remodeled, Offshore has definitely upped their game. Came for an amazing sunset but really enjoyed the evening. Kelly is amazing - super personable and absolutely the best service.

Jose was our server and he was the best! My friend and I wanted to go to a rooftop bar Saturday night and found Offshore 9. The vibe and view were absolutely insane! Literally overlooking the water right at sunset it was gorgeous. There was a dj playing good vibes music all night. We switched tables a few times to get the best view and Jose followed us wherever we went - cleaning the tables and providing great suggestions on what to order. We split the bang bang cauliflower (insane), got a couple entrees, and ended the night with the espresso crème brûlée (an absolute must order it was actually insane). Despite being super busy, Jose was attentive and incredibly friendly. We will for sure be back!

We had started our experience with Seafood Chowder Tots, without breadcrumbs-no problem! Then the Mediterranean Blackened Shrimp, and a lemondrop! Our server Brielle, came around the perfect amount of times, made perfect recommendations and overall, remembered every detail, and was so personable! Ended up absolutely loving the espresso creme brulee!

Such a beautiful view with a great vibe! The menu has a lot to choose from for both food and drinks. The service is attentive and friendly. They have heaters here so don't worry too much about the weather :) My fave drink is the Always Sunny and my favorite bites are the chicken potstickers, honey chipotle chicken flatbread, sliders, hanger steak, and bruschetta!

Our server, Kelly, was amazing! The view was absolutely stunning and made for a beautiful dining experience. My only suggestion would be for the ambiance after sunset--the aqua fluorescent lighting felt a bit out of place with the warm, golden tones of the sunset. Warmer lighting and maybe a few fire pits would elevate the atmosphere and make it truly perfect.

First time being here and services was amazing Ameriza did a wonderful job taking care of us and making my friends birthday special. She is friendly and on top of things. I will definitely be back to see her. The food was delicious and our steak was already butterfly cut and made it easier to eat and the drinks are tasty. The view was gorgeous we got to take beautiful birthday pictures. A great time and ambiance with friends. Thank you Ameriza!

Everything about this place! Amazing views and great service! Not a lot of food options on the menu, but we were very satisfied with what we ordered. The drinks here are pretty great as well. Overall, a great experience!

9th floor at the Hilton HB. Spectacular views and our server was so friendly and hospitable. Drinks were just okay and the food selection was appropriate for a rooftop lounge... shareable finger food. They were closing early for a private event which put a damper on our evening plans but it is what it is.

Vibes were great and staff was so friendly, especially the manager Ameriza! Love all the new upgrades including the new menu, hoping they bring back the DJ and fire pits.

Great views to watch the sunset. . The service was a little slow but they were changing shifts and we were just chilling after a day of surfing ‍.The flatbread pizza was incredible and would strongly recommend.

Service was super amazing! I went there to celebrate something and they gave me their expresso Crème brûlée and it was the best Crème brûlée I have ever had. Cocktails were okaish, but I would order them just to drink with the amazing hungtington view that they have. Ambiance was super nice and chill. I would go there again for the view and food.

Went to this rooftop bar located at the 9th floor of Waterfront Resort Hotel. Arrived on time for sunset, view was amazing. It was super windy but they have the heaters on. It is free seating and they don't do any reservations. DJ plays music, mostly 80,90,00's dance hits. Our server Brielle was super nice and attentive. They have limited choice of food, mostly finger foods. Great place to hang out. Will definitely visit this place more often.

First time coming here, really good appetizers a beautiful view and an amazing service from Sofia!! She was making really good drinks and was always checking on us and making us feel super comfortable. Definitely coming here for a date night with my husband :) 10/10

Really could be a fantastic place, absolutely stunning views, decent drinks, good food, good service. So you're probably wondering why such a poor review. All that goodness I described in the middle of a daycare center! Kids everywhere, running around, bumping in to your stool while sipping your cocktail, just ridiculous! Considering there's literally a dozen other places to take your kids in the hotel, why would people bring their kids to the one area you'd expect some romantic adult time? Please change your policy - no kids at the rooftop bar!

Located on the top floor of the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort. There's outdoor seating, that's first come first serve allowing diners to enjoy the beautiful ocean view. We had a vodka soda and a mock tail, both very well made. Our server was quick and pleasant. We parked on the street adjacent to the beach and paid for a few hours of parking. We tried calling the restaurant to see if parking would be validated, but there was no answer.

Kelly was out server, she was great, food was great, view was great. We saw some dolphins and the breeze cooled us off on this hot day. Sangria is beautiful and tasty.

Brielle is by far one of the best servers I have run into in quite a while. She came back to check on us, in my opinion, the proper amount of times. Not to much not to little. The food was great including the espresso crème brûlée. The cocktails were good also.

First off before I even got to see the amazing view I was greeted by Kelly who made me feel like I was an old friend that came to visit... and she continued from there to give amazing service and has a wonderful personality... a true gem.... The cocktails are fantastic the atmosphere is beautiful... being local I don't usually go to tourist spots but this is one worth revisiting!!

Their flatbread was the best! And Desiree did a great job in accommodating us. The sunset view and the ambience was amazing! We'll definitely go back.
