Google
The food was very decent. I got the smoked salmon caprese. Great place for a quick bite. The seats aren’t comfortable. Even though there was space, they were reluctant to clean after each customer. Overall, it felt a bit pricey, given that it’s all self-service.

Joshua M.

Google
Great vibe, great pizza, uniquely thin crust that tastes really good. Can’t go wrong with the slice of the day. My one very minor complaint is the slice isn’t a quarter pie, but the price makes up for it.

Danny N.

Google
Beautiful atmosphere right in Harvard Square. Very kind and generous service: very accommodating and welcoming to college students. I was with a college club and Oggi kindly offered up their space for our meeting. We got a delicious margharita pizza and we will definitely be returning!

Barry J.

Google
Atmosphere brought me in after the calling past it for months on my way to work. The service sucked me in and the food keeps me coming back. I’ve only had sandwiches thus far so I suggest the roast beef and the breakfast sandos are great with their house sauce. I will be back.

Ashley N.

Google
The pizza was so good! The fries were also delicious! There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The service was great and also very fast! I would definitely eat here again!

Google
My man Steve is serving up a killer burger. Not to be missed

Oliver N.

Google
Great pizza, great service! The nicest people here, definitely give it a try if you're at Harvard because they're super accommodating to students. I sat outside with a group of friends and the atmosphere was awesome.

Google
Oggi was a real discovery and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It looks like a pizzeria. The pizza *is* excellent, but a glance at the menu reveals there's much more: juicy burgers, jerk chicken, and a variety of unusual sandwiches such as the smoked salmon caprese, which I had and will return for. But wait, there's more. In addition to the affordable wine & beer menu, Oggi's sports a full bar! We were there on a Thursday when they feature a no-cover jazz jam (pictured). Really, this place is too good to be true. Patronize them so they continue to exist in this superb, high-rent location!

Yelp
Steve is a great owner very friendly There is usually music being played for a relaxed vibe in the restaurant. I come in an order the breakfast sandwhich, almost daily it's very fulfilling & gets me through the day. The pizza is good a bit oily but I usually blot before eating. Multiple selections of non alcoholic drinks. But the restaurant has a plethora of alcoholic drinks if you're looking for that also. The staff is great and I'm always presented with a smile. It can get busy in here but never overwhelming, Coming in before 12 and after 1 is a safe bet to get in and get out and avoid the crowds that can happen or the people standing around looking at the menu trying to figure out what they want. No seafood, no hot dogs, but they do have chicken cutlets and burgers ! That isn't a complaint that's a FYI Although there isn't a great place to wait for your food the staff does a great job in looking for you and remember a face. If your seated outside they'll bring the food right over The dining space inside is small, but roomy enough for a party of 3-4 people if needed. Open windows all around, great view!

Yelp
Love OggiGourmet! Can always count on special toppings like eggplant and others! Staff are always very friendly. Great indoor and outdoor space for groups. Very convenient since it's located right outside of the Smith Center! Will be back again!

Carter U.

Yelp
Very good restaurant that serves great food and understands its clientele. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This pizza was okay. I got the buffalo chicken slice and it was filling for me on a rainy day in Cambridge. I don't think it was the best pizza I have had though. It was just mediocre.
google avatar

Brian S.

Yelp
The food is top tier, the pizzas, wings, and the new chicken sandwich is awesome! excellent service. And I love the seating area in the back!
google avatar

Jayjay S.

Yelp
The chicken cutlet was amazing. The owner was polite and even helped with recommendations.

Yelp
My smoked salmon feta & tomato sandwich was absolutely amazing. It was delicious fresh salmon & feta center with delicate crisped bread shell made to order. Generous portion. I shared large polished wood dining table with a sweet friendly older lady sipping her lentil soup. Our table was was punctuated by bright late afternoon sunlight & was centered between the front counter and large street facing window. Apparently this place is known for its soup and pizza. The cook & cashier was friendly & suggested a glass of wine to accompany my meal. I anticipated pricey but thought $9 for this was actually not bad considering we were on Harvard Campus. So happy I didn't have to be a student to enjoy this spot.
google avatar

Farrah R.

Yelp
Delicious pizza that is hot and fresh! We ordered a pizza with half roasted mushrooms & goat cheese and half pineapple jerk chicken & scallions. Both were delicious though I liked the chicken one better. Great, quick service, and tables that seat up to 6 people.
google avatar

Sam F.

Yelp
Honestly everything Steve makes is fantastic. The soup, the wings, the burger, just wow.

Yelp
I used to come here frequently for their sandwiches and on occasion their pizza (though it lacks flavor even though they try to compensate with sesame (?) seeds). However, my breaking point was when I came in last week and the employees didn't greet me (despite being the only customer), merely making eye contact before going back to do their work on their computer. I really try my best to be courteous but these employees seem to lack basic respect/customer service and I don't know how people tolerate it. For reference, I don't like to ever write bad reviews especially for a (small?) business but I'm just tired of being neglected as a customer. A simple "hi" and "you're welcome" would be nice. FYI pinnochio's is a solid choice.
google avatar

Vincent Y.

Yelp
Updating this since the staff here are very friendly and are excellent at communicating with customers. Also got the egg sandwich with bacon and a coffee today and it was amazing.
google avatar

Anne H.

Yelp
I love the smart guy who is in charge. Fries are excellent. Pretty speedy given how busy the place is. In warm weather eat outside and watch the Harvard people swan by.
google avatar

Coby P.

Yelp
Got a fresh pizza, it was really good, light not too greasy. The owner was very friendly. Fast service. Prices were fair.

Yelp
Located in the Holyoke Center Arcade at Harvard Square, this place is set up as a take out spot with tables and chairs set out along the hall of the Arcade. I placed my order, was given a number, and sat down to wait. Since I was told (when I asked) that it would take 15 minutes, I was surprised to receive my large spinach, eggplant, feta pizza ($16.95) just over 10 minutes later, only to find it warm. Warm, not hot-fresh-out-of-the-oven. I slipped a small slice out for a taste before taking the rest of the pie home. It was tasty but rather wet and floppy. At home, we heated the slices in the oven, which of course crisped the crust some. MUCH better. And the crust (yes, the edge part) was noticed as being nice and light and easy to bite through and enjoy. Good crust!

Yelp
Oggi is a really nice, quick service pizza and sandwich place in the Square. The pepperoni pizza is a favorite of mine--really light with a nicely seasoned crust. I actually think Oggi is my favorite pizza place in the Square. Steve, the owner and chief, is really nice and gets so know regular customers. Definitely stop by if you can!

Allie S.

Yelp
Great place for a fast and affordable slice of pizza in Harvard Square. The owner is very friendly and quickly made a new pie of pizza when the one I wanted was not available. Would love to try their grilled sandwiches next time I'm looking for a fresh quick meal.
google avatar

Jenny R.

Yelp
I always say pinocchio's pizza is my favorite in cambridge until i remember these guys. They close pretty early and don't open on the weekend so i cry sometimes but if you order a pepperoni pizza before they run out of those tasty pepperonis, you my friend will feel lucky ... i think they sprinkle sea salt on the crust like the ones on pretzels and it changes your world lol

William H.

Yelp
Delicious pizza! Very good sandwiches too, with fresh toppings. Their pizza crust is possibly the best in Boston; simultaneously thin, chewy, crisp, and delicious, with a salted and sesame-seed dusted edge. 'Noch's might have a lock on Sicilian in the square, but this is the place to go for Neapolitan.

Yelp
I've been on a pizza-by-the-slice kick this past week; expect to see more like reviews, this girl's been samplin'! I treated my classmate to a couple slices at Oggi (located in the Holyoke Center at Harvard Square.) Four slices came to $11.50. She recommended the tomato-basil-garlic (thin crust, non-greasy, delicious! Can't wait to have it again!) & I had to try their special of the day: tomatoes, spinach, goat cheese, zucchini cream. Know what I realized? I prefer tomato sauce-base pizzas. I usually leave the crust behind (evidence of how many slices I've devoured-yikes!), but theirs is a soft, pillowy flavorful kind! An example of carbs as comfort food! Only recommendation: they need granulated garlic to round out the trio of shakers (appreciate the crushed red pepper flake & oregano.)

Yelp
You won't be wowed by the variety. Still, this OG togo party will have you coming back for more of its light, fresh fare. The special chicken salad with craisins, carrots and rosemary, wrapped and briefly seared on a blazing hot panini press, didn't have the palate doing a triple lindy in to a pool of bold flavors. Still, the remarkably clean approach ate so healthily, I couldn't help but feel a little crush developing. How could an $8 nothing special wrap having me feeling so... special? Was it the included bag of Dirty Potato Chips (so rare!)? Was it the pleasantly filling serving size? Was it the festively irie font on the blackboard menu? Can't place the finger on it. Grab lunch to go, and see for yourself. Service is friendly, if a bit assuming - as a neophyte to Oggi's world, I had to be told where to order, where to repeat the order, what the Soup Combo meant (it's half a pre-made sando in the display case with a cup of soup for a fixed price) and that chips came with the meal. Would definitely fly back for a slice or two, although they've stiff comp with my current Harvard Square pie-veyor, OTTO. All in all, a solid option that'll complement Al's savory, speedy, stuffed-to-the-gills sandwiches as a lighter, brighter option. Oh, and they make their own bread!

Yelp
I stumbled upon this place on a Sunday morning while getting dressed for work. The television was on in my bedroom and the Andelman crooks from Phantom Gourmet were talking about it; I got intrigued and decided to jot down the name for further investigation as it was supposed to be in Harvard square, close to where I work. I commuted. Then a few hours later at work, before taking my lunch break, I googled it and checked it out. Looks great; I did have trouble figuring out where it was but eventually I remembered that there was a small arcade and figured that it had to be in there. Clocked out. Headed there and grabbed 2 slices; one was their tomato basil which they are supposedly famous for and the other was their daily special which had a whole bunch of stuff including "magic mushrooms". It sounded so dangerous and borderline legal: I had to try it. The prices are decent and the slices were very good. Their pizza crust is like nothing I've seen before. Their pizza dough man rotates various grains for the dough: sesame, chili flakes, poppy seeds! It's a great idea and makes for a unique twist that just makes your taste buds jump in surprise. Love it. I've got to return and try more stuff. A fresh alternative to Pinnochio's. The only negative I could find was the fact that they use paper plates on their slices when you take them to go and the toppings can sometimes glue themselves to the damn plates. My tomato basil pizza had very little cheese left on it due to that incident. They should get special pizza containers or something... But that aside, it's a minor negative. Can't wait for more!
google avatar

Leah B.

Yelp
I was not impressed. At first we wanted to get half a special and half cheese, but were told the special had a white sauce and half and half wouldn't work. That's fine, so we decided on the large special. It didn't take long to make and there was no one else there so we happily started on our way home without checking the pizza. Big mistake! First, there was no white sauce, so they either lied at the beginning or just made a pizza with the mostly right toppings and wrong sauce. The pizza was supposed to have jalapeno peppers but there was no spice to that pizza. It was just not a good pizza. Then we noticed that the pizza seemed kind of small and so we measured. It came to a mere 16 inches, when the diameter is supposed to be 18. I won't be eating here again.

Yelp
Oggi's is, hands down, one of my favorite restaurants in Harvard Square. It's such a shame that it is in such a hidden location in the back of the Smith Campus Center. I hope it is moved to a more visible location once the construction is finished. Their pizza is delicious. My favorite is the tomato basil. It's definitely one of the best pizza places in this area. I am a regular so I've tried most things on their menu. They also have amazing breakfast pastries. Their muffins are always moist and fresh baked. They also have the best cookies in Harvard Square. Their sandwiches are absolutely wonderful. They have different daily specials, and everyday there is a new delicious concoction. I definitely recommend everyone to pay OggiGourmet a visit!
google avatar

Denise V.

Yelp
Oggi's is the best place to get pizza in Harvard Square! It's right across from Harvard Yard inside the Smith Campus Center. They have a lot of tables inside and bar seating (and TV) and offer a couple types of pizza, including a "Special of the Day", however not all are offered as slices. Their slices are pretty large and the prices are pretty good for what you get. I really enjoy trying their Specials and you can't go with the basic tomato and basil pizza.
google avatar

Leighann F.

Yelp
A simple, delicious lunch spot smack-dab in the middle of Harvard Square. The pizza is amazing...fresh basil, tomatoes and mozzarella atop a crispy crust. The burgers are just as good, cooked exactly the way I like, juicy, flavorful and filling. I was a little dismayed that it did not, however, come with anything on the side. Just the burger. Great for a casual lunch. Random seating arrangements (bar seating, small tables out front, no seating inside). A bit pricier than you'd expect. But worth it.
google avatar

francis b.

Yelp
A bid pricey then others ...but got to give it a 5 The crust is very crisp and flaky...different from others Sausage onion and peer pizza we had was very fresh Like organic taste Enough cheese to savor the pizza flavor I noticed it did not bloat me up like other goods Overall it felt FRESH......went down smooth Great pizza

Yelp
Food here is great, but the service is awful. That's the reason we don't order from them often. You never know if your order went through or cancelled. I'm not sure if the owner is aware of the subpar service.

Christine S.

Yelp
TL;DR good food, good price, nice workers that are slightly frazzled and unorganized I love coming here for brunch or pizza. The egg sandwich is filling, perfect size/amount, and tasty. It's roughly $7, which is regular price or cheaper in the square for a sandwich. The workers here are very nice but seem a bit frazzled and unsure. I ordered on SnackPass, because there was a free coffee promotion. On SnackPass, you can choose if you want an ice latte, ice coffee, hot coffee, etc. However, at Oggi, they told me that the promotion was only for hot coffee, and the lady at the register was going to charge me extra. However, the manager was there and told her to offer me free coffee. Additionally, when I came to get my order, they weren't sure who I was or what my order was. Although the food here is good, the coffee is mediocre. They just add normal milk to their ice coffee. The price of the coffee is standard, not particularly expensive or cheap. Overall, I love the food here and am sympathetic to the workers here, because they're so nice. Definitely coming back here often!
google avatar

Yelp
This is not a review of the pizza by dint of the fact that I still have no pizza, 2 hours after ordering and paying (and giving a generous tip up front). Multiple calls to the restaurant have gone completely unanswered. It's a Friday night, I get that it's a busy time for pizza delivery. An update would have been nice though, and surely warranted after two full hours of waiting. I suppose I'll add a star if the pizza ever arrives, but frankly at this point I'm doubtful.

Kathy D.

Yelp
So good!! Ordered from Oggi Gourmet last week. I tried to go several times previously in the evening or weekend but did not realize they are currently only open 8AM-5PM M-F. I'm glad I made a midday trip here because the food was fantastic (slice of tomato basil and chunky chicken salad sandwich with fries). I had no idea the gourmet sandwich came with fries. What a bargain for $9 and those fries were some of the best around, so tasty! And I believe it was owner Steve himself who greeted me so cheery. I will definitely be making a trip back soon and cannot wait to try something different. Highly recommend this place!!

Carla I.

Yelp
Best. Pizza. Period. Where have you been all my life? Looking forward to many more visits. XOX
google avatar

Greg S.

Yelp
$8.50 for what seemed like a lettuce sandwich. Weak! Pizza slices looked good. But at $3 each there is better at that price range right around the corner. Very little drink selection and practically no inside seating. I will not be coming back here.
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
Best pizza in Boston. Friendly staff & great selection. I've never been disappointed with anything on the menu I've ordered. The pepperoni is hands down the best pepperoni pizza I've ever had in Boston. Great homemade cookies too. Great find & an easy choice for your go-to pizza place.
google avatar

Yelp
Tomato basil pizza. Unreal. Yes, I've also tried Otto 1 block away. Yes, I've spent 2 hours waiting in line to get into "legendary" pizza parlors in Brooklyn. Yes, I've eaten Manhattan slices that people swear by. None comes close to this. When I'm craving pizza, I'm craving Oggi's tomato basil. Their burgers are also good. Bonus: For any of our Muslim/Jewish/non-pork-eating friends, Oggi says their pepperoni is beef. I've asked multiple times and gotten the same answer from different employees. So feel free to indulge in pepperoni goodness without fear of sin... except for gluttony... which is still a sin.
google avatar

Jenn W.

Yelp
Oggi is AMAZING. It's one of my favorite places in the world. Here's why, in no particular order: 1. Delicious tomato-basil and pepperoni pizza slices are always available. 2. $5 tomato-basil pizza nights (16"!!!). 3. Uber-delicious pizza slices of the day. Recently, Rita's First Pizza featured fresh FIGS. Mmm. Yesterday's Popeye had gourmet mushrooms. 4. All pizzas have a buttery, flaky crust sprinkled with sesame seeds. 5. The huge cookies are divine as well, especially the triple-chocolate one called Kat something. 6. The staff is always friendly and helpful. 7. Oggi doesn't advertise this, but it is one of the most faithful and generous donors to local organizations like the homeless shelter. 8. The space inside the Holyoke Center is cozy and close to everything in Harvard Square.

Yelp
I just tried this new Oggi for the first time. I just noticed it was open yesterday. Never having been to any Oggi before, I think I'm an emerging fan. I tried their special pizza of the day, the Garden of Eden. It's spinach, bartlett pear, and asiago cheese--very good! The toppings are a great combination, especially with the pear, but what stood out even more was the crust. It's a flaky type of crust that I can't remember having had anywhere before. Pricey, at $3.45 a slice (which, conveniently, they don't tell you on either the printed menu or the specials blackboard), but worth it at least once. I'll be back to try the salad that involves a pear stuffed with cheese...mmm. Besides the rather high prices, the downsides to this place are (1) limited and awkward seating, a downside to the location...they at least have it set up better than Campo di Fiori did; (2) not enough seats to go around to the tables, which presumably they'll fix soon; and (3) the absence of pizza prices, or even a list of available toppings for slices (except the special, which I mistakenly assumed was the only one since it was the only one posted), on both the printed menu and the blackboards. They'll probably fix that soon, too. All in all, a good addition to Harvard Square's lunch establishments, which have been sadly diminishing over the past several years. This won't replace the hole in my heart from when Formaggio left, but it's better than Campo di Fiori, the previous occupant of this space. Welcome, Oggi! Edit, 4/11/08: I'm raising my rating from 4 stars to 5. I've been back, and they've fixed almost every problem. They have plenty of seats for the tables now, plus two large tables (like picnic tables but nicer looking) for larger groups. Good use of their space. And they've posted a menu, plus have menus on the tables. The pizza continues to be great (though you should know that "tomato, garlic, and basil" means cheese pizza with fresh basil; "tomato" means sauce, and the garlic wasn't enough to really notice; still very good, though). And the employees are polite. The price for the pizza of the day is high, but the others (TG+B and pepperoni) are much less. This is probably my second favorite pizza in Harvard Square, after Uno's.

Yelp
I honestly have never seen a bigger pizza in my life. Joey, Mandah and I were splitting one before an elite event and didn't want to overeat but you know....3 on 1 pizza might be taxing so we opted for the larger one. We ordered their signature pizza which consists of baby spinach, roasted eggplant and feta cheese and yes make that a large. We waited on a hand scraped table and benches with their name in metal hammered into the table sipping bottled orange soda. The pizza came and we all looked at the monster size and we all said holy shit. And so we dove in and enjoyed every last morsel except for 2 slices that Joey took for for lunch. I would go back if I lived in Boston, I will be back when I go visit and I will make Joey order a smaller one when we go! I can't wait to try the other flavors Love Oggi's!!!
google avatar

Alma C.

Yelp
I see a lot of Oggi vs. Otto pizza reviews, so I'll go head to head: Pizza Price - Tie (pizza by the slice for about $3) Pizza Taste - Tie (both have decent thin crust, pizza by the slice) Pizza Options - Otto (Otto has double the single slice options) Seating - Oggi (a lot more tables available). Bottom line, both Otto and Oggi have decent pizza by the slice, Otto has an edge for pizza b/c of the availability of options, Oggi has the edge if you want other options to choose from aside from pizza.

Yelp
Absolutely looove this place, whether it is breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Fresh muffins in an assortment of flavors every single morning. Delicious coffee served with a smile. At lunch, you can't go wrong with their pizza. Their tomato, basil and garlic pizza is one of the best around. If you have time to wait, order a sandwich. One of my favorites is the Caribbean Jerk steak spinach salad. It's absolutely delicious and the steak is seasoned and cooked perfectly. On top of that, staff is always friendly and polite. Love Oggi!
google avatar

Casandra G.

Yelp
The promise of $10 any-size pizzas (even with extra toppings!) was enough to lure us in last Sunday. The price, we'd decided, would have been good enough to make up for a mediocre pie (also, Mondays they do tomato basil for $5. $5!) But then the pizza was actually pretty good! An excellent crust, my favorite kind of thin crust - thin and crispy, not soggy on the body, and also a bit fluffy inside the "handle" part. A light smattering of sauce and cheese. The thing that would have made it perfect would have been a bit more uniform distribution of toppings - chopped and sprinkled basil, perhaps, instead of a few scattered whole leaves. A perfect pizza is hard to find, but for your money it's hard to beat what Oggi's offers.

Yelp
Oggis makes the best pizza inn the square, but nobody knows about it because it's buried inn the Holyoke center. That's not right. The slice off three day is the best pizza ever, consistently. The typos in the review are because of the grease pin my hands from the slice i just had. The owner is here agreeing to make eleven pizzas for some harvard kids who just walked in. Its one minute until they close. This place it's the best.
google avatar

Nan M.

Yelp
I love their 5.99 burger and fries special everyday, every hour! The meat is so plump and juicy and the new crazy topping of the day is something I look forward to when I come here. One time they had a watermelon salsa, another time they had hot dogs in their burger, yet another time they had pasta in the burger! They were all amazing, and I love how fresh everything is all the time. Their 5$ 14" basil tomato pizza on mondays is pretty good too especially for the price. I also really liked their don juan burrito the one time I ordered it.

Yelp
I just ate at Oggi for a quick dinner and it was delicious and satisfying. I came in for a sandwich, and debated over the Caprese pressed sandwich and the Black Bean Pesto sandwich, but then ended up going with one of the specials; the Balsamic Pear and Brie pressed sandwich. It was really simple, just sliced pear tinged with balsamic vinegar and chunks of brie, warmed just enough so that the cheese was a little gooey but not melted, and the thick crispy bread tied it all together. Also it was a big sandwich, and only $4.00! I'm a sucker for a deal. My dining companions ordered the jerk chicken sandwich and the Caprese sandwich, and both said they were quite good. The only downside to this place is the layout; you sort of have to sit in the hallway-like walkthrough area of the lower level of the Holyoke Center. Not exactly relaxing or great ambiance, but if you're looking for a sandwich to go this is a great option.
google avatar

Shaina S.

Yelp
Oh sheeet! New York style pizza in the Boston hiz-ouse!! Finally someone in Boston knows how to make that paper thin crust with a thick, fluffy "handle." The pepperoni slice only had about 3 little pieces of pepperoni on it but both that and the tomato basil slice were deliciously garlicky and flavorful. I didn't really need two of these oversized slices, but they were cheap, so I indulged. I've yet to try the sammiches but the ones I was eyeing on others plates looked pretty magically delicious. There is also a wide variety of drinks, chips, and cute little packaged salads, all ready to go for us workers who have to scoot on back to our glamorous jobs in dilapidated houses... My boss is a real New Yahkah and she's a big fan of Oggi, so if you don't trust me, trust her much older and wiser opinion. (Heh.)
google avatar

Vince T.

Yelp
The sandwiches are decent, and the pizza is only so-so. But the wait is terribad. I've gone several times now, and each time I've ordered a sandwich, I've had to wait 20 minutes. Sorry, I just don't have that kind of time. If you're after a good slice of pizza, do yourself a favor and hit up Armando's or Pinocchio's instead. If you're looking for a good excuse to soak up the air conditioning in the holyoke center... well... that's as good a reason as any to come eat here! I really miss the place that used to be there...
google avatar

Yelp
Located on the first floor of the Holyoke building (aka the tallest building in Harvard Square), Oggi is a solid lunchtime destination for those who work at Harvard and locals who are in the know. If you're looking for a quick and delicious lunch, I would recommend the pizza here. The slices are consistently good--Oggi offers a thin, cornmeal-based crust and topping-wise, usually has pepperoni, basil and tomato (for the veggies out there), and a third, more creative option that tends to be different on each visit. Oggi's definitely serves the best thin crust pizza I have had in Boston, and the toppings and ingredients taste a bit fresher than those on offer at Pinocchio's, my other Harvard-area pizza joint.

W. C.

Yelp
Pizza is awful; tasteless, worthless. I thought "any port in the storm;" OggiGourmet would be OK for a quick slice - - it was not, OggiGourmet slices were awful (not worth the paper plate they are served on).
google avatar

Francesca R.

Yelp
As I walked over to Oggi today, I realized I hadn't reviewed it on Yelp yet, so I mentally started composing my review in my head (as you do). I realized my biggest stumbling block on this place is the service which is consistently very friendly but also very "special" - slow and unorganized. As I was walking up the steps of the Holyoke Center, it hit me like a lightening bolt why this is - how could I have been so stupid? Since Harvard first opened its doors in 1639, it's a time honored tradition that any pizza joint that is within 5 miles of a college campus in the United States will be staffed solely by people who are off their tree. Confirming my revelation were the Cypress Hill-like deep bass sounds booming from Oggi as I stood in the haphazard line and waited to order. "I want to get hiiiiigh, so f*($ing hiiiiiiigh." I momentarily reminisced about all the times we'd give the Mellow Mushroom delivery guy a bong hit as an extra tip... It all clicked into place. I was happy to wait a moment while the cashiers and cooks sorted themselves. My order would get to me eventually, man. And it's always worth the wait--Oggi makes fluffy and delicious pizza that will satisfy all comers, stoned or not, with daily slice specials that are often ridonkulously good in their creativity and flavors. The sandwiches are delectable, mouth-watering tummy-fillers and their cookies are wicked tasty. The seating is surprisingly chillaxed considering its in the busy Holyoke hallway. Mondays from 6pm - 8pm you can get a 16" tomato basil pizza for only $5 if you eat in or pick up - that's a great deal for a great pizza! Oggi loves you, so go show them some love.

Yelp
This place confuses me. On the one hand, good burgers, and very tasty pizza. On the other, I can never figure out why other people get things on plates when I often get them wrapped up, even when I say I'm staying... Condiments are hard to find, no ketchup bottles, and the burger, should come with, I dunno, some sort of side: if not some fries, or some chips, maybe a piece of fruit or something? I take a bite of burger and then go for the crunchy thing on the plate and realize there isn't one. All I've got is burger! My mind can't cope! The pizza is pretty good, thin and crispy, but the place is small and can get backed up at lunch hour, so I don't stop by too often.
