The 21 Best Restaurants In Marseille - Marseille - The Infatuation

"Vegans often get the short end of the stick in France, but not at Oh Faon. The name is a play on words—“oh fan” is a Marseillais interjection of surprise, like the one most people have when they taste their pastries and desserts and realize they’re this good without any dairy. Despite exclusively using plant-based ingredients, the desserts here taste better than those in many conventional bakeries. The space is split between two storefronts on the same street, one doorway apart: the patisserie sells all kinds of viennoiserie, cakes, and pretty tarts, while the biscuiterie’s glass case is filled with little cookies and biscuits, like jam thumbprints and sablé sandwiches with chocolate-hazelnut spread." - sophie friedman

You don’t need to be vegan to love the pastries here. In fact you would likely not even know. Lovely flavors and silky textures. This patisserie is creating delicate and delicious items served with great coffee should you desire. The clean, cool and well lit space is a perfect place to get that afternoon snack. Great find.

To all the vegans and patisserie-enjoyers out there: do not sleep on Oh Faon! I tried their pain au chocolat, pistacchio cookie, bueno tartelette and vanilla-creme filled cruffin and am still blown away by the well balanced flavors and textures. You can really taste that these pastries are made with high quality ingredients, immense expertise and passion! Moreover, the staff are super friendly and helped me decide what to get. 💚🥐

One of the best places that i visited in Marseille. I recommend very much the sweets and cakes are done well and really clean from any product that have milk. I am not vegan and not vegetarian I am just allergic to make and and I enjoyed this place very much and after that I tried it I can tell you that it really doesn't have anything that have any milk and didn't even touch anything with milk. In general the place is clean the staff is very nice the service is great and the atmosphere feel is great that smells are wow.. very recommended!

A gem in Marseille. Pastries and viennoiserie were chefs kiss. Cappuccino and hojicha latte were also great. Managers were super friendly. Highly recommend for vegan and non vegans alike 🫶 definitely the best pastry shop we visited during our stay in Marseille. Thanks !!

Great Vegan pastisserie! Super recommend if you want to try a version of french sweets. We had the chocolate M.I.L.K pastry and a pistachio cookie, delicious!

The best pastry spot I’ve visited in Marseille! We tried three different items and every single one was absolutely delicious — full of flavor, perfectly balanced, and beautifully made. Would love to come back again — a true gem for pastry lovers!

I unfortunately didn’t get here early enough to try the morning pastries but I got a coffee and a selection of the desserts (and some cookies for snacks!) and they were all so delicate and delicious, they were popular with both the vegans and non vegans of the group. The staff were really friendly too. I’ll be sure to stop by again when I’m next in Marseille!

An AMAZING vegan bakery with creative pastries that will blow your mind. It was hard to pick between all of the beautiful choices and we ended up sharing 3. The artistry and skill put into the pastries was impressive. Our favourite was the apricot olive oil. The shell is lined with white chocolate which added an amazing texture. So impressive! Service was also kind and quick. Even if you’re not vegan you have to go.
