"Since I’ve never had a Korean corn dog before, we decided to get a couple from Oh-K Dog, one of the newer stands within the H Mart food court. We got four deep-fried options on sticks, all of which were great and unexpected." - Erin Russell

Tasty Korean corn dog and egg sandwich restaurant in the H-Mart food court! It's definitely not the best Korean corn dogs I've had, but it's still pretty tasty. Service can be a hit or miss, but nothing rude of the sort. The egg sandwiches are pretty good and are always piping hot. They have lots of sauces and powders to add to your corn dog. I just wish they had napkins. Haha. Last time we went, they didn't have napkins and I would hate to go to another restaurant and get their napkins when I didn't even order from them. That's just me though. Other than that, good experiences.

We love the food and corn dogs. Have been here many times and enjoy the people, the music, and all about Hmart also! Must try their food!

Easy and cost effective. Corn dogs. The mural on the wall should become part of Austin's culture

Google
The dog was edible but just not tasty and had an off flavor in parts. The sandwich went completely to the trash. The egg tasted like fish/dirty oil. Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately :/ $15 in the trash.

Ordered via Uber Eats for pickup to skip the line. Note if you do that, you don't really have to get sauces if you are eating in their cafeteria area as sauces are available on a cart nearby. Prices are similar in person. Ordered one half and half cheese and hot dog, and one full corn dog, both with sweet potatoes added on. Two corn dogs is a good amount for a meal and one for a snack. They came out crispy and hot. Both were flavorful, especially with the garlic dipping sauce. They slide off the stick for easier dipping, too!

If you’re looking for a different and delicious breakfast adventure in NW Austin Oh K Dog is it. The eggs are very yummy and soft and fluffy and delicious. It’s difficult to describe but it’s sooo good.

Google
Glad we were adventurous and tried the Squid Ink Hot Dog ($4ish). It was something very different but totally delicious. We also got a Cheddar Hot Dog ($4ish) which was tasty as well. There are all types of condiments, sauces and powders you can put on to change up the flavor. Next time we're definitely going to try one of their toasts. They look sooo good.

Google
The store is part of the food court in H-Mart. The ordering system is good as you will get pager to let you know when your order is ready. I tried the Korean Corndog in LA, and this one is equally great. However, the ice smoothie are a bit too sweet for me. Overall, I do enjoy the Korean Corndog.

Yelp
K Dogs are big backs snacks! Im so addicted to this it's ridiculous! They are so good! What I loved about this location is that you can put your own seasoning on them. I read from another Yelper to mix all of the sauces together for a nice dip and indeed it was!!! It's located inside of H-Mart, which is a pretty cool place. It's like a grocery store and food hall in one. You place your order and then they'll give you a buzzer. It's a bit of a wait but definitely worth it!

Terry J.

Yelp
I'm torn because I loved the food however the customer service SUCKED! She was rude, spoke so softly and quickly, I couldn't understand her. She didn't offer any sugar for the hot dog. I asked for napkins and fork and she said - no, real abruptly. We went Friday, February 28 around 2:40. Whoever was working that day needs an attitude adjustment.

Briana N.

Yelp
It's dangerous how convenient these are to get. But I've been several times and it's always hot delicious, and with the perfect cheese pull. The prices aren't too bad. And it's the perfect size for where if you're not too hungry, it'll fill you up. But it's also not too big where if you want to eat some other food, you'll be too full. I love that the sauce station is self serve so you can really customize your corndog.

Kathy Z.

Yelp
I've tried a couple of their hot dogs and they were good, but their toast is amazing! Highly recommend to get the garlic bread toast! I'm also a fan of their lemonade slushie. It's not overly sweet. Their staff is always friendly and helpful and I love the casual ambiance.

Thu T.

Yelp
The perfect snack at HMart! Corn Dogs: Look at the size!! It's huge!! I would say it's around 2/3 of the size of my forearem!! And I just love big portions. My go to is the classic oh k dog with sausage inside. It's crispy on the outside, and the batter is chewy and soft, combine with the savory sausage, creating a perfect bite. The cheese corn dog is also a great option!! Sauce: Man! I have to vouch for the Garlic Dipping Sauce! I could drink it by itself!!! Like other HMart vendors, you go there, order, and they'll give you a buzzer. They have a sauce counter in the area for you to get whatever you want. It does take sometimes to get your food since they have to deep fried, so I don't really recommend eating if you're in a rush. Highly recommended! Fun vibes and Kpop music at HMart will sure give you a good time. If you haven't had corn dogs before, this is an awesome place to start. If you have had American corn dogs before, forget about it! This is much better!!!

Diana S.

Yelp
I love Korean street food and corn dogs are no exception! This place always makes for a yummy pre shopping snack. I like to get the half mozza half sausage with sugar and ketchup! My mouth is watering just thinking about it right now

Jinna R.

Yelp
Other hotdogs steps aside, there is a new K-dog in town! Oh K-dog has got you covered with a variety of amazing choices: Squid ink half & half, Potato Mozza dog (my favorites), Sweet potato Mozza, Oh K classic, Premium beef, Cheddar, and Half Mozza half hot dog. These are just a handful of the flavor combinations available. Their hot dogs are super crispy, and soft inside so there is no wrong choice--let your tum be your guide! Note: Their egg toast is a bit sweet for our liking. PRO-TIP: create the ultimate sauce to eat with their hot dogs and thank me later. Making the sauce by adding everything at the condiment station; ketchup, mustard, honey mustard, sweet & hot chili sauces, garlic dipping sauce, onion sprinkle, and Parmesan cheese, mix well, and enjoy it with your hot dogs! You're welcome!

Michelle W.

Yelp
This is my second time trying a Korean hot dog from here. Thanks to people raving about on social media I wanted to try the mozza dog and squid ink half and half. Saturday afternoon in the food court is busy however there wasn't a line to order. You order and get a pager. There were a few orders before mine. While I was waiting, I watched their tv screens of muk bang videos of people eating Korean hot dogs. Cheese pull and ASMR from the crunch...Woot woot. Once my items were ready I asked for a bag to take it to go. I got home and it was so crispy on the outside! I didn't get any sauces, but I need to see what I can dip these in for next time. Definitely enjoyed the food today.

Yelp
If you are looking for a quick bite inside the H-Mart and something that isn't too heavy, try Oh-K Dog Egg toasts! Their egg toasts are really light, bread is buttery soft with a hint of flavor (we tried their garlic toast). The eggs are cooked to a fluffy soft texture. Beware because it comes out piping hot, the filling at least. I had the avocado toast and my husband the bacon cheese toast. His was definitely more tasty than mines...would highly recommend that one! Service is pretty quick given it doesn't take long to make the toast sandwiches; we waited only 5-10 mins. Seating was hard to find even at 2 ish in the afternoon! We had to walk around to grab a spot.

John B.

Yelp
Very tasty and different (never had a Korean dog before), just the thing for a quick lunch bite. Fast service, good variety, and a good selection of condiments to go with your dog. The egg toast offerings looked good as well. Will be back!

HuiLai C.

Yelp
The sandwiches are amazing there. Taste the same as in Korea. Not much fan of the hot dog. Overall this place is always my first choice in the foodcourt

David P.

Yelp
Nut Allergy friendly as far as I know! Note that the "Instagrammable" way to order these is sugar coated. I was there more for a meal, so I avoided doing that.

Yelp
I read the reviews and to be honest they made me a little weary. But everything turned out great and maybe they changed the front employee because she was patient and sweet with us. It all started with my son wanting some Korean Corndogs. We are new here in Austin and was wondering where the Asian community is because I love Asian supermarkets and food. It's the best ! So I was surprised when we went to H Mart and they were slow. In San Diego, every Ranch 99, Mitsowa, and H Mart are packed. We walked up to the food court and there was no lines on any of the businesses. Sweet ! We found our new place to go for Asian food and supermarket. Yay ! To us, the KDogs were delicious. To who ever said There's no flavor, you have to use the sauce. Like, okay, who cares! Does anyone say Oh man, these Italian noodles are bland, it needs sauce?? No because every food needs a "sauce". Ask for the sugar on top except for the potato ones. Also their garlic butter is awesome.

Courtney B.

Yelp
Today, I came into H Mart with The Things for lunch and shopping. I stopped at Oh K Dog for Thing Two as she "just had to have" a potato dog from this spot. However, once we approached the register, she was enamored by the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. This sandwich was filled with fluffy egg, fresh cheese, and crisp bacon on thick toast. While this simple sandwich is one that is easily recognized around the globe, the one made here is unquestionably well done as its freshness and quality is unparalleled. #supportlocal

Yelp
Located in Hmart. We needed a quick meal and so glad we tried this place. It was so good! We only got the bacon cheese egg toast to try but it came out piping hot and delicious. They have all their seasonings and dips on the side, self serve. Probably took 5-10 minutes to get our order. Didn't get to try a corndog but will definitely try one next time.

Shayer S.

Yelp
This is located inside a mall. I've had this before in NYC and wanted to try again. It was still okay. The service was blah and help from them is crucial to know how to really make this special. The squid ink and the regular hotdog isn't anything special. My fav one is the cheddar hotdog and you gotta eat it there and then before the cheddar gets hard. Since this experience, I've had K-dog again in NYC, and the service was so good and he guided me on what condiments/ combos are recommended and now I know how to eat here. But that was elsewhere, this location and the non-interested service and the experience was average at best.

Amanda M.

Yelp
Cute little spot found in the food court at H-Mart in Austin. Food was delicious. Lots of variety to choose from. I went with the classic cheese dog and sprinkled some sugar like they do on the streets of Korea. Yum! Everyone should try some of the varieties they have. Pretty spot on. Reminds me of home.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
I can't believe I forgot to write a review for this place! I went in December and had the best sweet potato korean hot dogs! They have different options whether you want a hot dog or cheese inside and different outside batter. The sweet potato is my favorite! I see the price has gone up since I was last here but they are soooo worth it! They keep seasonings on the counter by the ordering stations so you can have it how you like. They have cheese powder, sugar, ketchup, and more! Oh K is located inside the H-Mart food court towards the back wall. Absolutely love this place!

Nancy P.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this place for ages and finally got the chance. Deciding to take the safe route, I chose the Classic Dog. Regular hot dog in their standard batter. I must admit, I was eyeing that squid ink dog for my adventurist side. Perhaps another time. It was about a four-minute wait, as I was the only one there. Once I had it in my possession, I got nervous about it getting soggy by the time I got home. Lucky me, it wasn't too bad. As I tried to take my first bite, I envisioned my dentist saying open wide. Yes, it was big. The batter was still crispy, and the hot dog was good. So, I took another big bite. I was happy. Like a corn dog but no cornmeal. It was just a plain batter. This is definitely needing a return visit to try a more exotic dog.

Yelp
This is probably the most affordable spot at the H-Mart Market Eatery. Needless to say, it's a pretty popular place because it's affordable and usually provides quick service. And the K-Dogs are yummy! I like that I can customize the K-Dogs however I want with the sauces, etc. I wasn't too impressed with their avocado egg toast though. The avocado seemed more like a sweet avocado sauce than the real, fresh avocado that I was expecting. Eggs in the egg toast were very fluffy... Tasted a bit like McDonald's breakfast eggs.. just fluffier.. and a little bland. After I ordered, they handed me a beeper that would ring once my order was ready. I sat down. I waited and waited for a really long time, and I noticed a bag of food just sitting there.. for a really long time. So I finally went up to get an update on my order. They told me the bag that was sitting there was my order. The employee checked my beeper and said it wasn't working. He was so kind and offered me a free drink, apologizing for what happened. I was so appreciative, especially because I was thirsty and forgot to get a drink. I gladly accepted the offer and enjoyed my meal!

Kolby G.

Yelp
Lots of tasty options. Mozzarella Sweet Potato - 5/5 Super delicious food. The mozzarella is cooked perfect. The sweet potato is crispy but soft and doughy on the inside. Really delicious.

Jenny M.

Yelp
First had this in Dallas and we were so excited to know that it's also in Austin! The place was spacious and clean they have really welcoming staff and very upbeat so you we had a nice and perfect customer service experience. The sandwich was different from what we had in Dallas and didn't expect that. The hotdog on the stick was pretty the same but the sandwich was different and that's the reason why giving 3 stars. This place isn't bad at all especially if you will have your sandwich here first but since we had our first in Dallas and there's comparison we would prefer that one.

Courtney W.

Yelp
My first Korean corn dog experience and it did not disappoint! Located inside the HMart food court, there are many corn dog options to choose from. I went with #1 (classic) and #2 (potato). These are so delicious! The classic has a wonderful crispy outside and soft inside. The flavor is not like a normal corn dog- I prefer this one! It's not too salty and pairs nicely with ketchup or chili sauce. The potato one is a nice change of pace- I love the textural experience with the crispy but soft potato pieces. Can't wait to try other menu items! It was busy during lunch time, but we made it to the window quickly and food came out pretty fast.

Paul J.

Yelp
Craving a quick bite at HMart? Stop by Oh K Dog for a Korean hot dog (aka corn dog) that'll fill you up and satisfy your taste buds. We got the mozzarella dog and it hit the spot. Smooth, rich mozzarella surrounded by light breading and chunks of potatoes. And it's on a stick, so it's easy to scarf down. Get your fill at Oh K Dog!

Thu T.

Yelp
Delicious Korean corn dog!!!! Personally I prefer classic dog over cheese dog. Cheese dog has way too much melted mozzarella which is a bit overwhelming. There're lot of different seasonings and sauces like ketchup, regular mustard, honey mustard and garlic sauce. Honey butter seasoning is yummy - I can lick that powder all day. Garlic sauce is very good BUT be ready to have garlic breath all day, but it's so worth it.

Hong-an T.

Yelp
The Oh K Dog was inside of H Mart! The decor of the booth was so cute and it was on theme for a street vendor which I really loved. The staff was fast and we got our food pretty quickly. We got the potato dog and the rice cake dog. On the side there were so many different flavors to add on-top such as cinnamon or even garlic.

Henry L.

Yelp
It took me a while to muster up the courage to try this place. I'm not a huge fan of melted cheese in general, and I was afraid that these dogs would be heavy and overdone. But the hype is real and they do look fantastic, so I have to give them a try to know. We got the Potato Mozza Dog and I was completely wrong; they are absolutely delicious. The fried exterior is nicely crispy and not oversaturated with oil. The potatoes are great and the texture of the rice flour is really nice. The cheese is melted just right and actually not heavy at all. I only ordered one and shared it, but could've easily finished it by myself. I do recommend adding some sauces or sugar since the flavors can get tiring after a while. Sometimes, restaurants proving me wrong is a great thing and I'm glad to have tried this place. Definitely interested in trying their other dogs or toasts. Also a fan of having a place in this food court that offers cheap snack options.

Britt Z.

Yelp
Stopped by the food court at H Mart to try this place. I ordered the egg and avocado toast, and cheese dog/potato corn dog. I really liked the eggs in the toast sando. They use a cream drizzle that's a bit sweet so it's a nice balance of savory with a touch of sweet. It's a bit bread heavy so you don't really need to order more than one. Next time I will be trying the squid ink corn dog! They have something for everyone and I definitely will trying some of the other options next trip!

Marco C.

Yelp
Just an egg sandwich..nothing special..got the garlic toast added was worth it! Got here right when it opened which was no wait

Jennifer N.

Yelp
I wish I could give this zero stars. There was not even a full hot dog inside my Sausage Mozzarella Hot Dog and there was no sausage. Same w potato sausage hotdog! Only half an undercooked, tasteless hot dog encased in a huge hollow, bland fried cheese coffin.

Colson H.

Yelp
The classic dog was very good and the egg toast looked very good but I didn't get it definitely 5 stars

Braden J.

Yelp
Korean corn dogs? What exactly does that mean? I'll admit when I first saw this heard of this place I was more so curious, than hungry. With such a different style and unique take on a classic dish, I had to come back after my first and try it again. Atmosphere: When things hit past the covid restrictions, I see this place being a great hangout spot for a quick pick me up. Close long style tables with Korean music and videos playing. Makes for a great chill spot. Food: So now for the real meat...literally. Yes they are overall corn dogs, but this style of corn certainly differs it from the average bunch. Basically you have the option of your typical meat corndog, or you can choose some of their more unique flavors like a rice dog, squid, or, even a potato with mozza (that cheese stretch mmmmhmmm). For sure though the star of the show is the unique toppings they offer. Sugar or brown sugar may sound strange initially for a corn dog that is often a savory treat, but with this you'll get that nice mix of sweet and savory combinations. Personally I'd recommend to try the rice dog or one of the dogs with mozza. Nothing like a good cheese stretch. Service: Quick register service, they take your name from upfront and call your name when ready. All the times I've been service has been prompt and friendly. Overall: Yes I know, it is just corn dogs in the end, but sometimes a unique twist on something familiar is just enough reason to try something 'different'. Certainly if you are ever in the craving for a quick non expensive snack I'd highly recommend. I'll have to return to try some of their toast options.

Ryan A.

Yelp
Not sure I get the hype. The dog I received was nicely fried but overly heavy on the batter and had no flavor. No seasoning. The dog itself is low quality - think Oscar Meyer worst processed dog. I can get 3-4 much better hot dogs at Costco for the same price.

Ani M.

Yelp
My husband loves Korean corn dogs. They are crispy, have a great cheese pull and have a great flavor. Highly recommend.

Camila C.

Yelp
I am a Seattleite who recently moved to ATX and I've looked everywhere for Mozza dogs. I was so happy when I found Oh K Dog to satisfy my cravings. Ordered the Potato Mozza Dog and could have gone for seconds and thirds. So good! I recommend going on saturday mornings that are slower since the place is located in a food court inside H Mart. Tried going on Sunday and we had to wait for 30 mins in line.

Chanel M.

Yelp
Glad we were adventurous and tried the Squid Ink Hot Dog ($4ish). It was something very different but totally delicious. We also got a Cheddar Hot Dog ($4ish) which was tasty as well. There are all types of condiments, sauces and powders you can put on to change up the flavor. Next time we're definitely going to try one of their toasts. They look sooo good.

Michael B.

Yelp
Oh K Dog is a brand-new business that's arrived at the Hmart food court, and in a way, it's the Korean spin on the 'hot dog on a stick' idea. They have a number of selections, including a premium beef dog as well as ones with cheese, and even a bunch of toast offerings. For those of you experienced with American corn dogs, this is quite a bit different. The batter is more akin to a funnel cake, or a more stretchy dough. It's pretty tasty, though you might opt for some toppings like sugar(!) that is quite good but (surprise surprise) a bit sweet for my taste. The hot dog itself is pretty good, and it's worth a try!

Taela L.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE! I had a great experience here. The food is to die for. Now it's definitely not your normal breakfast, lunch or snack but it's worth the try. Now if you don't want a corn dog they have other options as well. This is my go to order with garlic toast (see picture) it comes with a probiotic drink, which you drink after your meal. LOVE THAT! This is located inside the H mart on the left hand side. ( in food court) I hope you enjoy is as much as I did !!

Jenna Z.

Yelp
Best korean corn dogs in Austin!!! Korean corn dogs are still pretty new in Austin and I've only tried one other place near downtown that sells them, but Oh K Dog beats them in price, value, variety, and taste. The price for each corn dog ranges from $2-5 which I'd say is pretty good. The size of the corn dogs is pretty large, combined with all the toppings, one is pretty filling and you'll definitely be full if you get 2. There are so many different corn dogs with different fillings and toppings. The taste is so crispy and everything I anticipated and expected. The service is also really nice and safe; the front staff asked before adding sugar and the girl in front of me misheard and I think doesn't consume sugar so they remade her order. Between the corn dogs I got, it's hard to choose but I like the sweet potato corn dog more. I love the combination of sweet and savory and the texture that the potatoes add. Would recommend getting the sweet and sour sauce -- it absolutely slaps! Definitely will be a regular here :)

Sam K.

Yelp
Didn't really know what to expect with this (and not the biggest fan of corndogs to begin with) but I thought the classic hotdog dog was overall pretty good, and a great deal for the price! I was pretty hesitant to get it dipped in sugar, but with that, it ended up tasting like a hotdog wrapped in a churro and surprisingly worked! Price: 5/5 Taste: 4.5/5 Value for money: 5/5 Will be back to try the egg sandwiches next!

Chantel G.

Yelp
Yummm What a fun concept. -Great location : back of food court - Food: FRESH made to order (so a little wait) *ordered the beef hot dog : so much flavor and sugar on top! Batter was light n fluffy . They have condiments on the side. I picked honey mustard and ketchup - Customer service I'd say neutral. Not wow but not rude by any means - Prices VERY Reasonable Deff give this place a try ! !!

Danny M.

Yelp
First time here and it was an okay experience. Environment: This place is located inside of H Mart food court. It's a good was to have different style corn dogs. It's pretty loud in here and there is consistently beeping noises from restaurants pagers going off. Food: I had the Sweet Potato corn dog and it was good. Staff: was quiet but friendly. This was a quick transaction, so can say to much on staff.

Anita C.

Yelp
Oh mg!!! The egg toast: bacon egg and cheese. When my bf said we should get egg toast, I thought it was just French toast - toast dipped in egg batter. This egg toast is a must and totally worth the calories!! We came one other time to get their corn dogs and those are not quite worth the calories. ;) Hands down, egg toast all the way! I'm drooling while I type this. Wish I had a pic for you all.

Peyton G.

Yelp
I love fried cheese and the crunchy panko breading. They have a large amount of sauces and the spicy chili is my favorite. If you are in H-Mart this is a must stop and try!

Amanda M.

Yelp
I'm all about trying any food craze on the Internet, but I'm not seeing the appeal after eating here. The sweet potato one has far too much breading ratio to dog. It lacks flavor. You can tell the dog is the quality of an Oscar Meyer wiener. The squid ink cheese one is crunchier so the texture was on point. There wasn't a distinct squid ink flavor. The cashier recommended to use the communal tub of cinnamon and sugar to coat the dogs. It may have helped, but so not willing to do that, especially during covid. An immediate and internal hell nah came to mind to that idea.

Summer E.

Yelp
Love it! My favorite one is rice cake! I wish I could this every day! So crispy and the garlic sauce is amazing!

Anthony M.

Yelp
Korean hotdogs have become a HUGE hit in South Korea and right now they're one of the most popular street foods available. You can get these made with various "shells" from rice cake to sweet potato and with various fillings from mozzarella to squid ink. The combination I got is their Potato Mozza Dog. Crispy fried potatoes topped with sugar and filled with mozzarella cheese. I like it a lot! The cheese melts well, so the cheese pull you get when you take a bite is fun. They're pretty dense which makes them more filling than they seem. The sugar on the outside can be off-putting at first, but you get used to it and in fact you realize towards the end that it complements the savory flavor of the item quite well. Overall, I highly suggest y'all give them a try!

Samuel C.

Yelp
Samuel C. loves hot dogs. Samuel C. loves Korean food. Oh K Dog makes Korean hot dogs. Do the math. * * * Technical Footnote 1. 1. Oh K Dog also does avocado toasts. Those avocado toasts look really really good. But it is hard for Samuel C to turn down a hot dog. * * * Technical Footnote 2. 2. A Korean hot dog is like a corn dog. It is served on a stick and deep fried with a crust. I got the simplest Korean Dog possible. Imagine a corn dog with wheat flour rather than corn meal. It was like a white bread version of a corn dog. I missed the corn taste for sure. But the battered coating was pretty damm fine anyway. * * * Technical Footnote 3. 3. They have many different kinds of Korean Dogs at Oh K Dog. Many are quite elaborate. Rice flour. Mozzarella cheese with your dog . Premium dogs on the inside. Squid with your dog. Whole Chunks of Potato with your dog. Whole Chunks of Sweet Potato with your dog. Cheddar cheese wrapper with your dog. And most of these can be combo-ed. * * * Technical Footnote 4. Korean dogs are meant to be eaten with condiments. There are five or six squirt bottles with mustard, catsup, hot sauce etc. etc. They are there to be used. Most Koreans put elaborate patterns of ketchup and mustard on their dogs. You can do all sorts of elaborate designs on your hot dog especially if you use intertwining colors. Ok, Rembrandt. Strut your stuff. * * * Technical Footnote 5. So what are you waiting for? Get your gluteus maximus up to Oh K and get a Korean dog. Or an avocado toast if you prefer. Life is too short to just eat kimchee.

Steven M.

Yelp
This is located in K-Mart's food court. Terrific experience, fun variety of Korean corn dogs. I got the sweet potato and mozzarella corn dog, rolled in sugar. It was $5 and was terrific and filling. It makes me want to try the other options, like squid ink! They have a variety of other toppings you can put on yourself but they put the sugar or brown sugar on for you. They also have a selection of sandwiches that look great too! I will definitely be coming back!
