An OHde to Oh-K Dog
When I first discovered Korean corn dogs, I went to Oh K-Dog at least once a week for about three months before I finally had to stop myself, because I didn't want to get sick of them.
If you've never eaten a Korean corn dog, I strongly encourage you to try one, particularly from here. They truly are life-changing!
You can customize them to your particular taste, with or without protein, which is accommodating to anyone with a vegetarian diet.
My go-to is the potato mozza dog, which is like a hotdog (minus the meat), but instead stuffed with mozzarella cheese. I cover it in cinnamon sugar and top it with ketchup, cheese sauce, and sweet chili sauce.
They're located in multiple states, but in NYC you can find them here:
-LES
-East Village
-Hell's Kitchen
-Flushing
-Forest Hills
Hot tip: I've only been to the Manhattan locations so not sure about other locations, but I learned they only accept credit card payments if your order is $10 or over. Otherwise, they only accept cash.
I also ordered these Korean corn dogs at Smorgasburg a few times, which is a weekly open-air food market held during certain times of the year.
Hot tip: Check their Instagram @smorgasburg to see when they're open for the season and for specific dates, times, and vendors.
Happy eating!
