Oh My Crab

We visited Oh My Crab and were absolutely delighted! Our waiter Elmir was incredibly polite, attentive and professional. He explained the dishes in detail, helped with the choice of seafood and took into account all our wishes. The dishes were served quickly and the service was top notch. Thank you very much for such hospitable service! We will definitely come back again.

We were their first customers! We tried out some of their appetizers, a seafood boil and the honey cake. For the appetizers, the fries were really crispy and hot, and the ketchup was nice and chilled to pair with it. The grilled calamari was cooked well, and we liked the vegetables they paired with it. Just our personal opinion, we love spice and would’ve liked a spicier sauce for the calamari, but it was still good and garlicky. The two crabby seafood boil was pretty good. We had a few more critiques on this one. We are from the south, so we are used to sauces that have a stronger mix of powdered spices that create thicker consistencies that stick to the shells. I think this one was more oily than we are used to, so we had to really scoop up the garlic to hold the flavor to the shrimp and crab. The honey cake was super good. We are not into sweets, so this was a good balance of sweet for us where we still were able to finish the whole thing. Overall, the food was a 4 out 5. Would for sure come again to try many other things! The service was a 5 out of 5! They were super sweet and very attentive to whatever we needed. Since we were the first ones in, they were setting up a bit still, but they turned on music and everything after a bit and it was very cute in there. I love the set-up!

My friends and I had an absolute blast at this restaurant! The snow crabs, scallops, seafood soup, and calamari were absolutely delicious, and the family plates were perfect for sharing. Every bite was bursting with flavor! The service was outstanding—super friendly and professional, making us feel right at home. The cozy atmosphere added to the charm, creating the perfect setting for a great evening. I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend!

Very surprised by this place. Super chill spot. BYOB. Straight forward menu. We got the oh my crab bag - it's $60 and the added 1/2 pound of scallops. We did all 3 flavors and level 2 heat. 10/10 shrimp are juicy and plump. Scallops cooked on point. Crab was cooked well. Sauce was amazing. Really appreciate the side of rice. It's not overly greasy and as great flavor. Definitely will be back.

The seafood is absolutely delicious. This isn't one of those places that pretends to be on a coast somewhere with lots of decor. The lighting is almost too bright. But who cares because they serve beautifully prepared excellent seafood at surprisingly moderate prices (compared to trendier neighborhoods). We had the garlic butter boil with snow crab, shrimp, scallops, lobster tail and sausage. Everything was fantastic. The grilled calamari is spicy! Service was attentive and kind. We will definitely go back.

Everything we ordered was excellent. My daughter had snow crab with corn and sausage. She finished the whole bag! I had grilled shrimp with rice and peppers and the vegetable soup. The soup is AMAZING. But all the food was delicious. And great value. Our server was attentive and our order came out pretty quickly. We will definitely be back!

"Oh My" is right! My 90 year old father has been on a Lobster kick lately. We've been going to Red Lobster repeatedly but today was a damp rainy day. I decided to do pick up. I was dreading the drive to Skokie so I searched where I could get lobster in the neighborhood. I found OMC and am so glad I stopped in. I did take out. The $88 Family Pack included 2 lobsters which individually would be $20 each. It came with medley of crab legs, shrimp, clams, sausage, corn, and potatoes swimming in a garlic butter sauce. So incredibly delicious!!!!! I went with their recommendation to get the mix of 3 sauces. We enjoyed the meal so much! The garlicky butter sauce paired with our own homemade steamed rice was like manna from heaven! Dad was very pleased! I selfishly hesitate to give this place a review because I know there will be lines out the door but I can't be selfish. The place was so immaculate, a cool modern interior and service was professional and friendly. This restaurant has only been in the neighborhood for 6 months. They tell me next Sunday they start a new early opening if I remember correctly, 10 am or 11am from their regular 1pm. Perfect for me and my friends to go for lunch after worshipping the Lord at Moody Church! Can't wait to stop by again with them!

I've passed by this place a million times and never stopped in. Finally tried it last week and wow! It's a beautifully decorated casual restaurant. We ordered the crab fried rice. Really simply seasoned with a good amount of crab. We then had the family boil for two of us. What a great deal for 88$. All the seafood was really fresh. Cajun spice over the lemon pepper spice was much more flavorful. And it's BYOB! Next time I plan on bringing a few beers. It's super messy and fun. Highly recommend!

Everyone was very friendly and the food was amazing They let my baby play with a little ringing bell that they had.. My family in law picked a great place for a birthday dinner I'd be back again

Thank god we have seafood boils again in Edgewater/ west Rogers park. It was so good. My mom and I had the $60 combo of shrimp, snow crab and we had a side of garlic noodles. We're going to go twice a month for seafood and quality time. Thank you

Went to oh my crab today with my friend and the food was delicious! We got 2IBs of crawfish and 1/2 IB of head on shrimp with all 3 flavors and medium spice! It was perfectly spiced for us and the sauce was very good. It was so lemony and buttery, definitely one of the better tasting Cajun boils we went to. The servicer was really nice and even offered us complimentary ice cream for our visit and the price was very budget friendly. It gave cafe vibes with how the set up was and it was really comfortable to sit and talk while we waited for our food. Next time we will be back to try the calamari and raw oysters too! It's nice to have a delicious spot in the neighborhood whenever we crave a Cajun boil!
