The place was small.. but what's most important was the food. I've never had saimin in the way that I did... with the noodles and meat on the side from the broth so it was alittle confusing to dip it like tsukemen or not. Anyways the other dishes were good too.

Google
This location is absolutely horrible!!!! Our order was delivered a third party app. There was a certain sauce that was missed in our order, and we called to verify why the sauce was wrong... NOT only was the employee that answered the phone extremely unreasonable and rude, but he gave the wrong information. The sauce that was given to us for chicken katsu was not supposed to go with the order or anything any human consumes for that matter. The restraunt was called, and the employee who received the call said everything was correct and doesn't know the menu. The sauce that was given to us was green and extremely nasty. Whatever mystery sauce that was given would never go with anything. It was so gross and was thrown away. I am no foodie, but the party I am with knows what's up, and if they complain about something you know, it means something is wrong. Do not order from this location, and whoever is working right now on the 21st of April 2024 needs to be talked to by upper management.

Google
I was super stoked to get some Hawaiian Food!! Feeling fat, I went with BBQ plate. Short rib, chicken thighs, and BBQ beef. Like a fat guy, I got some Musubi. Being in Vegas.... we get amazing Hawaiian food!! The short rib was terribly chewy.. fat was too tough to chomp through. The chicken was good, decent flavor. The BBQ beef was fatty, more than the typical fatty beef. The Mac salad was great, very solid. The musubi was good. Again Vegas has amazing Hawaiian food. I might just be spoiled.

Google
Terrible service, I placed an order over the phone. The guy I spoke to was unprofessional. He didn’t even ask me for a name or number so I didn’t give it to him. He said it would take 20-25 minutes so I said ok. When my partner went to pick it up about 15-20 minutes later, he told him he was there to pick up my order. But when he went to pay, that’s when the cashier handed the ticket to the back. So that means he didn’t even place the order until my partner paid for it? So he had to wait another 20-25 minutes. So it took about 40 minutes total for 1 item. I don’t understand the difficulty it is to place a simple order over the phone.

Google
I usually order from here for my lunch breaks, my first time trying the garlic shrimp and it was quite tasty. The shrimp was just a tad over cooked but Had nice garlic flavoring. The Mac is always good. Wanted to try something different then my usual chicken katsu masubi, worth getting 👌🏽

Google
Loved the food! Had BBQ chicken, bbq chicken musubi and the spam musubi and they were all good. Note that even the mini version was a huge portion. I've not had authentic Hawaiian before so I couldn't say for sure if it's true to the original, but it definitely was delicious homey food.

Google
I don’t know why Hawaiians and even non Hawaiians for that fact would pay $17 for a little portion of meat two scoops of rice and some macaroni salad. It’s beyond me. $17 can get you a breakfast buffet at Southpoint during Pacific hours $17 can feed you for two meals at chipotle $17 can get you a lot of stuff besides 6 ounces or less of chicken two scoops of rice and macaroni salad can you imagine the margins on these plates again? I feel sorry for Hawaiians and I don’t know why they do it.

Love this place! I love that I can order the same thing every time and it’s always consistent. Definitely worth trying if you’re ever in the area!

Yelp
Ohana is very reasonably priced for the amount + quality of food they serve you. What we order here almost never totals more money than what we'd pay for our family's fast food order - EXCEPT that Ohana consistently has WAY better flavor and portions. (To be fair, we've never ordered any of the $17.95 sandwich/burger + fries combos at Ohana. That might change our perspective.) Some of our favorites here currently include the katsu chicken, which, when you order online, you can customize to have steamed vegetables and/or extra mac salad as sides instead of rice. Since my husband always has rice going in his cooker, this helps us get even more Hawaiian bounty for our buck. (And pairing the fried katsu chicken with the steamed cabbage, broccoli, and carrots helps reduce any inflammatory response in our bodies.) I also adore their mac salad. When we receive it, it's made with careful portions of the mac salad sauce to the pasta and other ingredients. The mini sliced carrots and such they serve inside it are also wonderfully generous. It's delicious! And pairs so well with every main dish we've had so far (which I guess is the point). Their musubis also steal the show here. They're always wrapped and packed together with care. Depending on how you order, they can range in price from $2.85 - $3.35, which isn't bad at all for such a large musubi. Last time I checked, they had at least 4 different kinds to choose from. We've only tried the regular spam musubi and portuguese sausage musubi so far, but both were scrumptious! We've also tried the garlic noodles with shrimp. I wouldn't say it's anything to write home about (if anyone still does that anymore anyway) but it's not bad. My husband and son frequently order the loco moco, but I've never tried it myself. They seem to enjoy it a lot. We've only ever ordered pickup/to-go here, so I can't speak to the restaurant ambiance. However, everything we've experienced so far with our orders has been great!

Yelp
Been coming here for years. The loco moco and spam musubi is always great Food is always fresh, made efficient and friendly service! Recently tried their cheeseburger and fries was impressed! Check out this local spot near warm springs and Durango !

Yelp
This place is smaller than the Blue Diamond one, I never do dine in it's always to go. They always get the order ready very fast, which I love. I will call it in and it will be ready 10-15min. Fast service and good food is always a good combo. The serving of each place is plenty enough to share. The staff are always nice. The food is always good the inside store is always clean and welp kept. Parking might be a little busy due to so many store in near it.

Yelp
This so the OG spot in Southwest Vegas for some solid, quick Hawaiian food! Their prices are worth it because their portions are enough for two meals honestly. They're always nice when I come in there and the food comes out pretty quick even when it's busy. Their katsu sauce is one of a kind and I always make sure to get a side of curry to dip into as well. They have a big menu with all the classics. Their Musubi wrappers are never soggy and they stay together. Every now and then the rice is a little mushy, but it's never stopped me from enjoying the meal. The whole place has a nostalgic vibe for me, and that could be why I love it so much! Regardless, I think they definitely deserve my 5 stars easily.

Yelp
Portions and prices are good bang for buck. As for actual taste, it's pretty bland. LauLau is super dry. Thought it would be fresh since I came at lunch time, but no it wasn't. Katsu was mid

Yelp
Stay away from the places. They do not care about getting their order right. If something is wrong, they will hang up on you. Do not give them business and plenty of other places that get the order right and care about food quality

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch as we were on this side of the valley (we live on the other side) and we were super pleased with the quality and authenticity of the food! We love Hawaiian food and have tried several places in the valley and I have to say - this is our fav so far! The portions were very generous and I ordered a side of the Mac salad for $1.25. The side was quite big! (In addition to what is shown in the picture) The service was fairly quick and the staff pleasant. The seating area was a little tight but there was several tables. Clean and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We ordered from this restaurant for the first time. While the pineapple chicken with a side of rice and macaroni salad didn't meet my expectations (I've had better macaroni salad elsewhere), the chicken was okay. On the other hand, the barbecue chicken bowl was better, it came with salad, and two pieces of broccoli.

Yelp
Inflation's real- across the board, folks. Sometime during the summer the free eggrolls promo stopped; maybe it was new management, maybe it was changed suddenly, we don't know. This was a special request from our son for his birthday. Yes, pricing's higher, dropped the promo, we got three items, and it is over $30 now to get two regular plate lunch meals (2 scoops of rice and 1 scoop of mac salad) and two spam musubi for my loves. The quality has not changed, the chicken katsu is crisp, the kalua pork was very good, just a few fatty pieces, that's to be expected, but it was flavorful and not salty (the cabbage was good too). I usually go through it before giving it to our son, or he'd just eat the fat. We ate half of it, and ate the other half the following day. So, we paid once, but ate it twice. The amount of food that you get, is still the same, too. At least, these two points have not changed. I suppose that we get this combo every few months or so. It's still good, we can eat it twice, so we're still happy. (We might try Island Flavor, as Eric G, mentioned.)

Yelp
I always order the same thing cause it's so good: half loco moco, half chicken katsu. It's perfect everytime. The portion size is huge and sometimes there's leftovers, not often, but sometimes.
google avatar

Ashley F.

Yelp
Love coming here for a quick lunch on my break, the service is always good and fast. The portions are great in my opinion, the Mini (2 portions of rice w mac salad) and your choice of meat - I got the bbq beef this time, was more than enough. Love the photos of other menu items on the wall, very helpful! Small place but always clean and welcoming.

Yelp
I've been to an Ohana BBQ in the past at a different location, but this location was not the best. The man taking the order was kind, but the food was terrible. The katsu chicken was burnt and dried out. The macaroni salad tasted bland. The one thing that you can't go wrong with is the Hawaiian Sun drinks. My favorite is the Lychee flavor. Definitely won't be coming back to this location, but will continue my business at another Ohana BBQ where I know the food is not burnt, bland, and dry.

Yelp
Very friendly staff...good food...quick service. The basics of Hawaii favorites are available here. It was a great late night stop.

Yelp
LP from 5/22. I really wanted to love this spot as it's a couple of blocks from my complex, but it was just ok. There were just 2 other customers in the restaurant when I entered. Since I was craving Chicken Katsu, I decided to go with that. Cashier wore a mask and was very friendly. He said it would be about 10 minutes, so I decided to walk over to Coldstone and pick up some ice cream while I waited. PROS: The chicken katsu itself was really good. Fried to perfection and super juicy. The rice was sticky as it should be. CONS: The mac salad smelled super fishy. Now I know a lot of places tend to add tuna to their mac salad, but the smell was super overwhelming. The katsu sauce came in a good sized container, but it was really watery and didn't have much flavor. So sad :-( I'll come back to try a couple of the other items and will update my review then.

Yelp
This restaurant is fast and good. Ordered a pan of spam musubi and it was ready in 20 minutes or so. Price was $50 and will last my family two days. This is our favorite place anytime we are in the mood for spam musubi. It is in the Von's plaza so there is pretty of parking. There are a few tables to sit at while you wait. We always prefer to get take out versus eating in.

Yelp
Favorite Hawaiian bbq place!- portion is huge, delicious bbq especially the chicken. Their Hawaiian bbq chicken is super juicy, soft and tasty. They do have really good macaroni salad, as well.

Yelp
Tried to Call in a Phone order, One day prior Left me On Hold All I could Hear Was An aggressive...Crying and Screaming Baby! In The Background.... Went Back Next day in person... Wait was Longer Than Normal With No One inside of The Restaurant! Went Outside For 10 Minutes or So...maybe Longer, went Back in and Still Had To Wait Maybe 10 More Minutes... I Asked For A Side Of Sauce, Teen-aged Looking Cashier, Was Gonna Charge me .50 cents extra! I Frequent this Establishment and Usually Always Tip! Where is Da Ohana? In Ohana Bbq? Come on... I'm From Hawaii and You Guys Are Supposed to Show some Kind of "Love" ? It's Just A Knock Off... L&L Everything is A Copy cat of the Hawaii Original! Yelp
Food was great. I love the macaroni salad. I use to go downtown to the California Club but now I can get the macaroni salad and other Hawaiian specialties anywhere around town. Scoops of Mac Salad calling my name.

Yelp
A few nights ago we ordered food online and my husband picked it up. We ordered the spam musubi (the kids wanted some), Hamburger steak, Kalua pig and Mac salad. First, let me say that we lived on O'ahu for over 5 years and we KNOW Hawaiian food/bbq very well. This place is great! The food was classic Hawaiian comfort food at its best. The spam musubi are huge, so keep that in mind if you order, because if you are expecting gas station musubi (snack kind), these are definitely much larger! The kids loved them and said they were transported right back to Mililani Town where we lived. My husband's hamburger steak was just right, and I had kalua pig and cabbage with rice (added my own shoyu) and Mac salad- it was all SO ONO! Thank you for keeping it real and reminding us of our home away from home! Great Job! Aloha!

Beth M.

Yelp
Very clean quaint restaurant. Very reasonable price. Full Hawaiian menu. Food was excellent! Highly recommended
google avatar

Yelp
I've ordered her so many times. They never disappoint me when I order the regular chicken Katsu, but today's the day I guess I get disappointed. I didn't get the regular full Katsu as I usually order but Instead I got irregular Katsu. C'mon Man

Yelp
Worst experience! Cashier very rude! "Good food" but customer service awful! 2/10 if I could give -stars I would!

Yelp
We celebrate Birthdays and anniversaries here. The food is always great, fresh and prepared perfectly. Our server was excellent, we never waited for anything. We always have fun with the staff, friendly and very helpful.

Yelp
Best food ! Fresh ! Great customer service . Food is authentic and always fresh . Compared to other places that we've been to this location and food is always good and fresh. I pass up those other places to go here . Freshness and customer service A1

Yelp
Consistently decent! 3.5-4 stars. Located in the Rhodes Ranch plaza next to China a go go. Always give you a decent amount of food per serving, especially if you get the regular sized plate. I recommend getting the mixed plate, usually get it with katsu curry and teriyaki chicken. More than enough food for 2 people. Recently, they've increased all their prices by $3 a plate, used to be the best bang for your buck, but now it's approaching similar costs to Island Flavor, which is down the street. Island flavor in my opinion has better variety and some items are more flavorful. Pros: Great portions Consistently good customer service Katsu Cons: Getting pricier Limited selection - no mochiko chicken, etc Some items kind of bland - Mac salad, teriyaki chicken
google avatar

Roxanne A.

Yelp
Affordable delicious food that fits my budget when I don't wanna cook or just in the mood for some comfort food. The service is always good I don't know his name but he wears glasses and he's very polite.
google avatar

Trix N.

Yelp
I swear the Half-Half Combo (two meat choices) equals out to two-three servings! For the price and flavor, it is one of the better deals that I have seen in awhile. It is great choice rather than your typical fast food/corporate chain restaurants that I am not a fan of. Honestly, I have never stepped into this Ohana location. I have ordered it many times for home delivery with no disappointments. The food is Hawaiian comfort food- BBQ, rice, macaroni salad, missubi, Loco Moco, etc. I have tried several of their protein choices and stay with the BBQ Chicken, BBQ Short Ribs or Chicken Katsu. All are what you would expect from a casual Hawaiian BBQ place and very delicious. I also like to order a Spam Missubi which is something that I started to eat only a few years ago when I moved to Vegas. It is good at Ohana and they also offer other types if you do not like Spam. I definitely enjoy having Ohana delivered to my house via Uber Eats. The value, the flavor and the fact that I can split up the combo into one or two extra meals! Yeah, well sometimes I do not like to cook! ;)

Debi K.

Yelp
I don't usually order online because i have had a few bad experiences. Today i ordered online because i really didn't feel like cooking or eating out and i was craving Hawaiian food. Ohana Hawaiian BBQ never let's me down! The service is always top notch and the food is always onolicious!!! Mahalo Ohana!!! Garlic NoodlesLoco MocoChicken KatsuBBQ Beef
google avatar

L T.

Yelp
I ordered every kind of musubi on the menu for pickup. The spam musubi was just okay. The katsu and teryaki chicken musubi's had no flavor. Very disappointed. Pickup service was good.
google avatar

Ren P.

Yelp
ohana bbq has been my favorite comfort food spot for 6 years now. i've been a loyal customer ever since i was a high school student in the area. i'd always ask my mother to get my favorite plates (between the chicken katsu or the shrimp garlic noodles) for dinner at least once a month. i'm now an adult who has moved out the area but i'm still driving the extra 20 minutes just to come here to get a meal. i'm giving 4 stars ONLY because the mac salad has been inconsistent for a while over the months... sometimes the mac salad is hitting CRAZY good and sometimes it is bland... i suppose it might be because of different management, i just hope they keep the recipe the same. even though the prices has raised over the years, the customer service is always stayed fantastic... especially to the gentleman in the glasses who has been their cashier recently. didn't catch his name but he is an extremely kind and helpful employee. i will ALWAYS continue be a regular as long as live here. cheers, many cheers to ohana bbq!!
google avatar

Stefany V.

Yelp
I had no idea this was a chain restaurant because my experience with the food and service here really were convincingly on-par with what I get from mom and pop spots! I came by to satisfy a crazy craving for garlic shrimp noodles, and it did not disappoint: thick, slurpable udon in garlic oil, topped with shrimp and green onions. It's heaven. Staff easily accommodated my request to eat my online order on site, and even offered a drink. Location is clean, menu is large, and food was super fresh. HOT TIP: Get sides of the mac salad and the kim chi. Drain the kim chi and combine. It's next level.
google avatar

Kyle W.

Yelp
The food was unenjoyable. I got a two entree plate with katsu and pork. The chicken was rubbery and neither meat really tasted like anything. The delivery also included the mac salad in the same box as the hot items which ruined a side dish that's supposed to be cold by heating it up.
google avatar

Henry L.

Yelp
I'm so happy I stumbled upon this place. I've been there many times since my first review and it's still awesome. Good food, good prices.

Joe B.

Yelp
Great food, very good quality especially for the value. Surprisingly great cheeseburger even for the price compared to a sit down restaurant or fast food. 3 meat plate is the way to go but sub a scoop of macaroni salad in place of a scoop of rice.
google avatar

Elleyne M.

Yelp
Say it the tune oh Aloha oe! Ohana is delicious! Lol the mix meat combo is so yummy. I usually order the savory chicken katsu and appetizing short ribs. Additionally, the delectable meat offerings taste so fresh and I love the Katsu sauce to dip the chicken in. This meal also comes with macaroni salad and rice. I am also fond of the refreshing canned Hawaiian beverages they offer including the satisfyingly sweet fruit punch. The portions are well-sized and I am so pleased with their location. If your salivating some Hawaiian flavor and don't want to spend money flying overseas to the islands to experience, have lunch or dinner at Ohana!
google avatar

Toni W.

Yelp
One of my favorite places. Love the spam fried rice and fried chicken wings. Don't walk run if you have never tried it. You won't be disappointed.

Alan C.

Yelp
First time trying and had no expectations. The barbecue mix plate was good. The meats were seasoned and marinated well, everything cooked to order and still piping hot when I got home. The spam musubis were rolled neatly, and all the rice was perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for good Hawaiian BBQ and don't want to drive all the way downtown.

Gerald O.

Yelp
Workers need training in customer service. You can barely hear what they've saying and they give attitude.
google avatar

Mia L.

Yelp
I don't think this restaurant fully understands how Korean-inspired Hawaiian food should taste like. For instance, the sauce for galbi short ribs usually is made of soy sauce, garlic, and sugar. Depending on the preferences, some ginger, mirin, pear juice, sesame oil, and so on are added. What I could taste from their short ribs is SOY SAUCE only. Very salty, and had no other flavors. Even their macaroni salad was salty. Their garlic shrimp was literally just garlic and shrimp, seriously there were no other flavors, just minced garlic with shrimp. Since their price point was pretty reasonable and the cashier was nice, I would give them three stars. But I don't think I'll come back to this place again.

Maple S.

Yelp
Great service and food for a decent price. Gave us an extra dish cause they put the wrong item in. Noticed we weren't gonna finish and gave us a to go box and bag without me having to ask.

Edy G.

Yelp
Ordered online and it was ready when I arrived; however food was cold and wasn't as tasty.. The beef and ribs were tough and chewy, and the Mac salad wasn't right.. Not what I expected.
google avatar

Bolton L.

Yelp
This is some of the best food I've ever eaten hands down. I order from this place on door dash probably once a week and every time it meets expectations and honestly i don't know if i can ever get sick of it. Chicken katsu, barbecue short ribs and malasadas is some of the most elite things you can order from here.
google avatar

Angela V.

Yelp
My first time here and it exceeded my expectations. I came here with my boyfriend and we got the chicken Katsu and BBQ chicken plates with one spam musubi. We also got the pineapple crab Rangoon and it was so good with the sauce that it came with. Recommend this place. I will be back soon.
google avatar

Bernadette S.

Yelp
The food are good and hot, my husband always get the chicken katsu and my kids love the bbq chicken
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
Never had a bad experience. This is more of a take out place than eating it but they do have a few tables. Food is always fresh and the pineapple crab wontons are the best!
google avatar

Miranda G.

Yelp
It's Monday night and I'm glad I read most of the Yelp reviews, cause I made sure to order ahead of time! I ordered around 6:15pm, dropped my kids off at basketball practice and drove straight on over to Ohana Hawaiian BBQ! Parking - there's plenty of spots ... Zipped in - paid the little old lady and she was very nice. Even had my order waiting. Got home and was craving my garlic Shrimp plate! By the way the price is reasonable..$8 a plate. I'll be back for sure!!
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
Sadly, the food was too bland. As a local girl that often gets homesick for good Hawaiian food, I think I'll skip this restaurant from now on.
google avatar

Ivan M.

Yelp
Been coming here for years. Very yummy food. I usually get Katsu chicken and bbq chicken. Don't forget the katsu sauce I put that on the rice. Super good! The macaroni salad is very good too!
google avatar

June T.

Yelp
They never disappoint me. Today I ordered take out hong kong style pan fried noodles. Just the taste i was looking for! The sauce had a nice consistency and gave us plenty of it. I also picked up Thai iced tea with boba. Such a treat! The staff there are so nice. Can't wait to try other items on the menu. We've had loco moco and burger in the past, everything was good!
google avatar

Mark L.

Yelp
Thanks everyone for their purchases except me. Asks everyone if they got enough sauce except me. The white guy ordered after me and got his food first... Funny how asians are okay with treating other asians like theyre invisible. Congratulations for being racist. There are other places and other people making the same type of food. Also she only offers the guy that ordered the party tray a cup of water. Nobody else Three orders including me behind party tray guy waited 50 minutes for our food. Thats excusable but for her to treat me like my money didnt mean shit makes me feel like this chinese lady doesnt need our business. Never coming back. Telling everybody i know not to come here.
