"Ohla's tea options are not only delicious, but highly customizable. You can choose the exact percentage of sweetness for each drink, whether you want it topped with cheese foam (you do), and the boba choices are plentiful. This place makes one of our absolute favorite taro milk teas, if that's what you're into. And they have food too—a small but tasty menu of hot dogs, dumplings, and egg waffles with ice cream. It's quiet, relaxing, and a good coffee shop alternative to bring your laptop and get some work done. " - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo

This is the best Boba I've ever tried. Don't go to any other store come to this one this is really good. I'm putting this review in as I'm drinking the Boba and it's so good update: as soon as I finish drinking the Boba my stomach started hurting really badly and I had to go to the bathroom but the bathroom was locked because it was out of service so I have to go to a different bathroom but either way if you don't have a sensitive stomach you can drink it and not feel hurt

Google
Love everything about this place. Best Boba Teas in Miami and the customer service is A+++! My kids love to come here all the time.

Google
Very cute boba place. The drinks were great, did have a lot of syrup, but as long as you mix it well you are good. Great service, different variety of stuff to try and snacks to buy as well. Can never go wrong with brown sugar milk tea

Yuri

Google
Friendly boba place serving a good variety of drinks and snacks. The shelves with imported sweets and snacks is a much-appreciated extra touch, and gives the entire space a relaxed and interesting vibe. We've had different drinks and our favorite has to be the green tea lychee and the Ube. Staff is friendly. Parking during busy hours is a challenge, though, because of the small yet busy mall this place operates from.

Google
Cute little boba shop. Bubble tea is definitely a personal taste preference, and we didn't looove their tea flavor or boba. The waffle ice cream was good though! We also liked the wall of snacks on the side.

Google
This is my absolute favorite Bubble Tea place in north miami. Service is always super fast and the tea is so good. I normally get the brown sugar boba and my boyfriend got the Pina Colada flavor. The store is always clean and they have great snacks.

There are many Boba shops around in South Florida. However, the Ohla Tea has Boba Milk Tea, some Asian appetizers, and Chinese Style Eggs waffles. They are on the Main Street of 163rd. Their Boba Milk Teas are good and reasonable price. They also have nice and tasty Chinese Style Eggs waffles. They provide enough choice on their menu. Their atmosphere is very nice and clean. Their customer service is always friendly and helpful. You must try them. We definitely recommend others. We got them 9.5 out of 10 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Google
Great and cozy place for bubble tea :) There is a wide selection of flavors, plus soy milk if you don't want reg. milk. The service was excellent and helpful. Highly recommend checking this place out for yummy treats and drinks! *Update* Amazing service and products, plus loving these new cup designs 👍

Yelp
Love, Love, Love Ohla Tea. This has to be my favorite Boba tea place in my neighborhood. The service is always top notch and quick. My favorite is the Brown Sugar Boba tea and I honestly crave it every couple of weeks. They also have a a few different types of milk available, though the selection could be larger. The decor is super cute and there are a few different Asian candies and treats available for purchase. It is located in a quiet plaza that is easy to miss if you dont see the location. Parking is sufficient enough though I have been a few times and had difficulties in finding a spot. I really recommend Ohla Tea for the prompt service and delicious Boba. If you have never had Boba Tea before, Ohla is an amazing stop for a first timer.

Yelp
Amazing costumer service boba so delicious. 10/10 will come again. It's a cool soft refreshing place.

Tracy D.

Yelp
My friend purchase me a Taro Boba tea and it was amazing! So, I went there and purchase another drink and it was amazing. I will be going back to this business again! I love the tea! So please stop and grab a tea! :-) The service is just great at the location. The inside very cute.

Jackie D.

Yelp
The Korean hotdog is always good! And I got the strawberry lime Boba tea with mango popping. Boba was so good like always!

Genesis T.

Yelp
Love Ohla Tea. Ordered 2 Taro Vanilla Milk Tea with boba. It was so good and refreshing. Fast and friendly service. Casual and cozy ambiance. You can enjoy your milk tea at the store as they have indoor tables and seating. Would love to come back for more. Check it out!

Yelp
I went with my sister to get boba because we are obsessed with! The boba was okay but the places itself was cute and had a lot of Asian snacks and beverages.

Maria K.

Yelp

Yelp
Love the hot dogs here! They are juicy and packed with flavor. Highly recommend coming here, especially with all the sweet servers here. Good vibes

Yelp
I've bookmarked this forever, like, BC (Before Covid), but didn't get to visit till now, as I don't come to this area too often. More than the bubble tea, I'm interested to try their bubble waffle aka Hong Kong waffle. Finally got a chance to swing by after shopping at iFresh. Inside the store, they have some shelves selling Asian snacks, like Kit Kats, Pockys, instant ramens and mochi. I even found some whole wheat Kit Kats - seriously? They have a large electronic menu as well as a paper menu by the register. As it's just one person, it does take a while to get an order done, if it involves a few drinks and waffles. I can imagine a long wait when it gets busy. I like my tea fine, about average compared to other bubble tea places. I don't like the waffles as much though, As you can see from the pic the surface does look kind of ugly. The texture is also more cakey than it should be. I still enjoy eating the whole thing, as it is my childhood favorite back in Hong Kong, even if it's not as good as the real thing.

Talia V.

Yelp
I've gotta tell you, I've tried a few boba places around here, but none of them even come close to OhLa Tea. They really are amazing! Personally, I'm a huge fan of their coconut boba with almond milk - it's so delicious. And the atmosphere there is just so cozy and welcoming - it's like being at home. Plus, the service is just unbeatable - you really can't go wrong there!

Dina U.

Yelp
I was in the neighborhood looking for a great place to get some boba drink after a day at the park. I always support the small local business so far I have not been disappointed i until I stopped by this shop. I was very excited to try out their boba because of all the good reviews. I got my usual taro boba drink. They used powder on their drink, I have never a fan of the powder ones but was still hopeful. But the tapioca boba was so hard to chew, they don't taste fresh. Sorry to leave this bad review maybe they were having their off day but I will not be back for more.

Evelyn W.

Yelp
Peach green tea with rainbow jelly. It is not as sweet as you'd think and has a little after taste . They have snacks and small food items available also.

Laura C.

Yelp
That brown sugar boba had more brown sure than milk. I wish I was lying....I saw them make it. I thought at first that they just give a heavy amount of boba. In reality, it was just brown sugar with a shot of milk. The drink was too sweet that I couldn't even finish it. It felt like I got closer to diabetes with every sip.

Ashley A.

Yelp
Staff was nice. Came here to drink boba and study a little bit. I tried the brown sugar boba and it (as expected) was so sweet. Not for me, but the boba was great consistency. Excited to try other flavors!

Chelsea A.

Yelp
I came here twice and I'd like to say it was a 10/10. The first time I came I got a coffee milk tea with black boba and it was actually pretty good. I also got brown sugar milk tea and taro milk tea and it was fantastic. I definitely recommend the brown sugar milk tea or taro milk tea for any first timers. The shop also has a lot of variety and hot foods as well. They also sell popin' cookin sets. The shop was very clean and neat. It was also well decorated and cute. I definitely believe this is the best boba place in the NMB area as others can't compare. I have tried many other stores with friends and family and this one has won! You can also adjust the sweetness to your liking. I recommend 75% for fruit teas and some milk teas as it may be too sweet for some. For hot foods, I definitely recommend the bubble waffles. The bubble waffles were slightly crisp on the edges but fluffy inside. You can also choose a topping to go inside your bubble waffles, for example chocolate chips, coconut, oreos, red bean, etc. Service was quick and to my surprise, it wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. Please support this small business as it deserves more hype. :)

Hadassa M.

Yelp
The the tapioca balls were very under cooked it was really bad and the vanilla drink that I had was very bad staff was rude didn't even want to talk and it smelted like something was burning I don't recommend you to come here

Yelp
These days, it is hard to find a place to sit with your friends to grab a coffee. So, when I was meeting my friend, I was not sure where to go. I remembered looking through Yelp the other day and wanted to try this place. Since we were shopping at Beijing Mart, which is across from this place, we decided to try their bubble teas. The place is a kind of hole-in-a-wall place, but very clean. They had several shelves for bread from Paris Morning Bakery. Unfortunately, the shelves were empty. They had a variety of bubble teas, and it was hard to pick one. I am sure everyone can find their favorite! My friend asked for a milk tea boba, and I settled for green tea boba. My friend and I enjoyed the tea. The flavor was good, and boba had a nice texture. I am hoping to go back there to try their Hong Kong style egg waffles soon. They looked awesome!

Yelp
I did not know this place existed! It is hidden and tucked away in a small plaza. I happened to stumble upon as I was renewing the tags for my family's car - all because I overheard one of the customers behind say they were getting it. I have been in search for a good boba tea place in Miami every time I visit. This one by far is the best I've gone to. There is a private parking lot but it always seems to be crowded nowadays because there is also a COVID test tent in the area. The parking spaces are small too. They fit SUVs and two door vehicles very snuggly. When you walk in, the place is adorable! It open and the decor is extremely cute. There are a few snack items to buy on the shelves on the right once you enter. They sell things like shrimp chips, pocky sticks, panda chocolates, etc. They have a wide variety of classic teas to fruit teas. I got the following: Black milk tea with boba: my least favorite I think because of the boba pearls Ube milk tea with boba: yes ube not taro! They have taro if you want it though (for all those taro lovers out there). And this definitely tasted like taro. Strawberry fruit tea with passion fruit jellies: Honestly, my favorite one out of all of them. I highly recommend this. The service was quick and the bobaristas were so kind! Definitely check out this hidden gem!

Martha S.

Yelp
I love there coconut milk tea. I have tried multiple of there milk teas and they are all astounding. There vanilla one taste amazing so does there Ube one. There mochis are average .

Antonia L.

Yelp
Great milk tea and fruit tea. So much to choose from to eat or snack on. Been a few times and forgot my punch card

Kimberly C.

Yelp
Second time coming and they should be open by now at 11 am. Nope. Let's call the shop. No answer. But light is on. Let's knock. Still no answer. A guy who was in his car (perhaps a neighboring shop owner) called her cell phone and told me to knock much harder. She finally comes and opens the door. No greeting and no apology. I get some people have RBF and that doesn't bother me but no decency to show some quality customer recovery after making me wait in the rain 5 minutes after opening the shop? Pfft. To make matters worse, I came for BOBA. She said it would take 15 minutes to wait for boba so if I'm in a hurry it's suggested I get a jelly instead. Yes, I am in a rush, yes, I waited in the parking lot for you guys to open since 10:30 AM, lights didn't go on until after 10:40 AM, and you mean to say I'd have to wait longer to have boba from a boba shop after making me wait AFTER opening time? Ugh. Come early and have your boba ready before opening time! I'm trying really hard to conceal my frustration and I've kept my cool. I only wanted boba for my father as a treat after his surgery -- sadly, I we had to settle for jellies. If I had known they won't have it prepared ahead of time before opening, I would've waited to go to Dumpling King which was never an issue before. And next time I will. I gave this place a chance. I wasn't blown away from the first experience, and I'm definitely not happy with this experience.

Izzy R.

Yelp
Great boba, super quick and the decor was so adorable, would definitely recommend the staff were great too :)

Angie E.

Yelp
Love the tarp milk tea most places are too sweet but it's just perfect here creamy and delicious

Nicole E.

Yelp
Almost $13 for two boba teas. We got the passion fruit green tea and the pineapple green tea. The passion fruit was okay, but the pineapple was AWFUL. It tasted as if it was infused with shampoo, not pineapple. Neither yea tasted like the flavor they were supposed to be. Disappointing to say the least.

Yelp
Rating: 2.5 Date: 07/12/2020 After visiting Mary Ann's bakery, we wanted something to drink. Found OhLa Tea from a quick search here. I thought it was funny that the GPS simply told us to pull in to a parking lot...and once we got there the shopping center looked abandoned. This pandemic is really taking a toll on a lots of businesses. So please do what you can to keep yourself and others safe. Anyway, we thought it was closed but thank goodness we saw the huge "we are open" sign. So we got excited to try what they have to offer. RESTAURANT: Due to the pandemic, a lot of the business are having to put their furniture away and so upon entering this joint, it does not look very inviting. The counter was bare and only have a place for you to order. Behind that is their menu on screen. The décor is minimal and gives off that Japanese feel with the long wooden benches, and shelves with I believe Japanese treats and the adorable wall art of boba girls in kimono-looking dresses. There is a nice size rest room. There are also printed menu on the counter and on the plexiglass. I don't recall a sign saying they are not serving food. Overall, the place is small, but really cute. SERVICE: Again, we came here without reading the reviews since we were 2 blocks away. I regret that now. There was only one other customer there and the lady behind the counter offered us no acknowledgement. When it was my turn, the worker's back was on me and I did not want to be rude so I just waited for her to turn around. She exuded unhappy energy and I can tell she's not friendly. I quickly just ordered only one boba tea because I wanted to get the heck out of there. After a few minutes, I decided to order an egg waffle dessert for my son and right away (with an extra dose of disdain) she cuts me off and said we are not serving food. Which is too bad because I got excited to see that they just didn't sell boba drinks. I ended up ordering another drink. And despite my efforts to sound gracious, that lady was still like bleh. FOOD: We ordered strawberry fruit tea with rainbow jelly and a taro milk tea with boba. Their cups are tall and super slender, which I did not like so much because I just know it will move around in my car cup holder and it did! But, they have a removable, like a coffee lid which a cute hear shape stopper on the sipping end which my son and I thought that was adorable. And I'm sure the cup can be reused. Anyway, the fruit tea drink was light and refreshing...although it did not taste 100% like strawberries, it tasted more like lychees. The white colored jelly also tasted like lychee. The jelly were good but I found them a bit too firm, like they had been in the fridge for awhile. Then on to the taro milk drink. Side note: taro is my all time fav. And this one is definitely not one of them. First, it was a bit on the warm side. And although at first the drink was ok, I found that there's like this weird salty sensation left in my mouth after each sip. I can't explain if it's from the milk or the boba but it was not a sweet, creamy taste. It's so weird to describe but all I have to say is that I had wayyy better taro elsewhere. So sad about the Egg Waffle. They looked really good and I know my son would've loved it. Overall, this visit was just as disappointing as it was spontaneous. I'm sure that this place was much better pre-COVID. But reading past reviews leads me to believe that the same worker have the same unapproachable attitude. Customer service is huge! And sometimes, even if the product is mediocre, you tend to be loyal because the excellent service makes you feel royal. Which is too bad because I would love to come back for those egg waffles. But I'm sure I'll manage.

Megan W.

Yelp
There are only a few boba places on this side of town, so this one came with high expectations. Unfortunately, my party was very disappointed with the quality of their drinks, but the interior of OhLa is nice. Upon walking in, there's a stand of snacks available for purchase, and tables with cute pillows aligning the wall. This would definitely be a great place to study or go on a date! It was apparent that it is a family own business, a mom and her young daughters took the orders and made the drinks. Out of three different drinks that we ordered, including a rose milk tea, they all tasted artificial. With the rise in popularity for boba, there are other places that make the same drinks with fresh brewed teas, rather than powder. They put each drink in a blender, not to make it like a smoothie, but to ensure that the powder is fully dissolved. My friend literally said that the tea tasted like "mop water," and the boba didn't make much of a difference. Although I enjoy where this tea shop is headed, they need to make serious changes to their recipe.

Stacy L.

Yelp
I was wonderfully surprised by this tea shop. I was in the area for work, and knowing that it's the only part of town to get decent bubble tea, I was all set to go to Dumpling King. Sadly...it was Tuesday so I broke out the handy dandy Yelp app and found this place was right down the street, and brand spanking new. It's now my go-to tea shop, the jasmine milk tea was on point. From the decor (adorable), to the mini market (matcha candies and tea sets), to the extensive menu of pearl teas, slushes, etc. all around $4-5, I'm happy to have found a comfortable slice of heaven that can focus on making tapioca pearls the right way! Parking is shared with several other businesses in the strip mall, but I found plenty of availability when I was there.

Henry V L.

Yelp
Oh la la tea is aight. It was very hard to find when I went past this place... I was looking for a business sign. It was until I went into the plaza that I saw OhLa written on the window. Well anyways, I didn't think the milk tea was for me. It had an entirely different taste to what I'm accustomed to. I did not see the process of how it was made, but by judging how long it took to come out it was prob powder and not fresh. Also the tapioca was super chewy... it got stuck in my tooth a lot so it was better to just swallow and not chew. Just kidding. But it prob would have been better to. I think I would have a better experience if I got their passion fruit tea or something thats not milk tea.But other than that I can say the girl we spoke to was very nice and had great customer service !

Natty G.

Yelp
I love Bubble Tea. This place has authentic Chinese Teas with real pieces of the fruit of your choice. I got Taro Coconut with extra Boba Tapioca. I had a few sips and to my delightful surprise, I found pieces of Taro with Toasted Coconut mixed in with the Boba pearls. The mixture of Taro and Coconut flavor Teas where delicious and very smooth. I'm glad to have found this gem and will be back.

Hoosie U.

Yelp
Conveniently placed to a Chinese bbq restaurant across the street that's next to the best Chinese grocery store - Beijing Mart. Boba here is really good. You can specify the sweetness which I typically pick 50%. They also have a small assortment of Chinese baked goods and Asian snacks. Obviously this is no CA boba tea shop but it's better to have a good boba shop than none at all!

Ricardo B.

Yelp
This is my go to Boba Tea place, I've been to many and this one is just the to good and great service. I always go for the coconut milk boba tea but also get the honeydew. Both are delicious and I'm sure all the other flavors are just as great.

Zarina M.

Yelp
Nice tapioca boba and the atmosphere. 2nd time buying and trying new drinks. A bit pricey but still delicious.

Nancy A.

Yelp
I love this place - went there this weekend twice because I was doing FLL airport runs. They are close to i95, a great stop if you are stopped in traffic. They have a lot of sitting area for a tea spot, and from what I saw the parking is also very assessable. My favorite is the simple green tea with tapioca pearls but they have an ample menu.

Miles M.

Yelp
My go-to boba place. They also have a nice selection of Asian snacks/fresh appetizers. Never disappoints.

Natasha V.

Yelp
We made it about 45 mins before closing time and they were pretty busy. I sorta felt bad for the young lady behind the register because she was busy doing it all but with a great attitude and awesome demeanor. She was very sweet and kept communicating with the customers and apologizing for the wait. They were out of boba so decided to wait for some and so glad we did. Our teas were delicious I got lychee and peach green tea and my niece got a strawberry and mango one! Such a nice treat!

Katheryne P.

Yelp
I absolutely love the vibe of this place and all the options that are provided. The drink I ordered tasted amazing and it was extremely affordable. I ordered and in less than 5 minutes it was ready. They also had a lot of snacks, which I will try in my next visit! Can't wait to go back!

Kathlyn A.

Yelp
One day, I was traveling in the area and stumbled upon the Bamboo Gardens plaza. I walked by Ohla Tea and stopped. From what I could see from the window this was an extremely cute store! I walked inside and boy am I glad I did. The interior was clean, organized, and attractive. It has a unique and minimalist vibe! The barista was quick to assist me in my order so I experienced no waiting time. I ordered the Mango Milk Boba Tea and enjoyed it. It was not my favorite but it wasn't bad. The price was definitely cheaper that the previous boba tea cafe I had visited. I plan to revisit this cafe in the future. Happy boba tea drinking everyone!

Jasper H.

Yelp
I loved my experience at OhLa Tea. It has a very cozy setting with modern decor in the cafe. The staff are friendly and welcoming. As soon as I walked in I was greeted warmly. When the barista saw me looking at the menu for a while, she said to let her know if I had any questions. In the end, I decided to go with an original boba milk tea. Although milk tea is milk tea, I really enjoyed the size and portion of the drink. I asked her to make the tea less sweet and it came out perfectly! I was on the run, so I didn't really get to sit down that long to enjoy my boba. However, I definitely recommend OhLa Tea to people that want a not so crowded place to enjoy a drink and do some work on their laptop.

Kailee K.

Yelp
Cute little place with Verity Japanese snacks. I ordered Black tea with sweet red beans and tapioca. It was a pretty good size for an affordable prices. we will definitely go back

Niveen M.

Yelp
Ugh. I really wanted to like this place. So many unique flavors. Sadly, I chose one a little too "unique". Black sesame bubble milk tea should be banned. But to be fair, I tried my husbands and it was so good. He got Taro. Service was quick and prices were great. I'm down to give this place another shot- I will just be likely going for a way more regular flavor

Paula O.

Yelp
SO GOOD, and CHEAP. Taro milk tea with boba, perfect flavor and size! Also I like a lot of boba pearls I even had left over pearls so if you don't like too much pearls be aware there will be some in every sip you take. They were perfectly chewy, tasted fresh. Besides that, when I walked in there was no one in the front, took a long time for the employee to come out and take my order, I think she was the only one there though because there was a customer waiting for her waffle. I originally wanted to try the waffle with ice cream and strawberry toppings and she said they were out of strawberry and only had Oreo so I just tried the taro boba tea instead but at least she apologized. The place is cute and clean. Cheap prices as well try it out.

Brian C.

Yelp
I've always wanted to try this boba shop out and I finally got the chance to. I ordered the grass jelly black tea and it was great. Also, I ordered a little snack and I loved the Japanese-Style Japanese Beef Sub; I would definitely get this sub again! The beef was cooked gyudon-style with the onions and the sweet flavoring. This place added some lettuce and sauce on top to make it their own style, definitely content. However, the beef's color seemed a little dark? But don't let that deter you from trying this amazing sub out! They also have some other small food options for you to try.

Whinkie L.

Yelp
Had lychee milk tea with boba and japanese-styled japanese beef subs. However, the lychee milk tea tasted more like lychee milk than lychee milk tea. There were a lot of bobas and they were very soft and chewy; the bobas here seemed like they were bigger than the usual ones. The japanese beef subs was in a toasted hotdog-looking bun. The mixture of the beef and the onions were very flavorful and meshed really well with the bun, the lettuce, and the sauce.

Jon T.

Yelp
Great Drinks for all Teas! Very relaxing place to enjoy the day drinks during hot days. Choice of drinks are also vast. If i were you reading this. Just check it out you won't regret it! Price is good okay!

Devona W.

Yelp
Highly recommended! Conveniently located near a lot of Asian restaurants and market. Boba that's not too sweet. Cute place and great service.

Nancy L.

Yelp
Decided to try OhLa Tea and what can I say! It wasn't as bad as I thought, the atmosphere is so comforting. I ordered the original milk tea and for what it's worth, it wasn't so bad. The prices are inexpensive as well ranging from $3.99 excluding toppings. I think OhLa tea might be better off serving their speciality teas rather than bubble milk teas though.. other than that they also serve this waffle cone icecream and that's pretty cool too. I just don't think this is right place for me but a lot of people seem to like their teas! So you might as well try it and see for yourself.

Fluffy T.

Yelp
Our to go to for bobba tea! Place is always clean and friendly stuff! Our fave is the ube bobba tea and lychee green tea. Try this place!

Ashley A.

Yelp
Love Love Love!!! One of my favorite boba spots in Miami. Great service and reasonable prices!!! The boba here taste really good and they have an endless selection of tea. Would recommend to any friend. Love this place will be coming back!!!

Yelp
My husband and I were craving boba tea and our usual place was closed so we figured we'd try out this place. I'm so happy we did because the teas were delicious! I got the matcha boba tea and it was the best matcha boba tea I've ever had. We will definitely be coming here more often for our boba tea fix for sure.
