23 Excellent Late-Night Restaurants in Houston

"Open until 2 a.m. Wednesdays through Sundays, this Korean comfort food destination is dripping in soju and neon lights. Step inside to find Korean drinking food bites such as garlic soy swings, a bubbly short rib soup, its signature Yangnyeom wings, and its gooey Korean corn cheese. Spice things up with its Jeyuk Bokkeum, stir-fried pork with onions and scallions, or cool it down with an Instagram-worthy watermelon soju keg, which is poured out of an actual watermelon." - Brittany Britto Garley, Sean Hekmat

Houston’s Perfect Rainy Day Restaurants

"This Korean eatery in Asiatown takes you to the streets of Seoul. Its dark and moody, windowless interior is the perfect place to hideaway during a nasty rain shower. Feast on Korean fried chicken, hearty noodle soups, dumplings, and corn cheese, and wash it all down with a soju cocktail." - Minh Truong

Even though the menu had limited options that did not contain seafood or shellfish. I still find the food here pleasant and enjoyable. The environment is great for a casual date night . The lighting is dimmed, and the decor is made to look like you're eating in an outdoor stall in a city alley. Some stalls are curtained for a touch of privacy. Each has TV screens playing MTV style K-pop videos. As long as you are not discouraged by cheese or slight spice even though the visuals look like the entries should taste super spicy. Be warned when coming here, the colors of the dishes can be very vibrant as is traditional with Korean food in general. To mine and my company, I was surprised it was an enjoyable spicy dish. The food is very well balanced in tastes and textures. Our favorites were the cheesy dumplings that come in a skillet iron. Those were reminiscent of ravioli tasting gyoza it's a very non- lasagna, lasagna tasting dish. I also enjoyed the fried chicken and french fries. "TONGGAK," I believe. Keep in mind that all these dishes have traditional names. Our first time here the main clue to what you are ordering is the limited visuals provided that are high-quality photographs and the quality of the dishes is present in the actual dishes that are pictured when you order them. Overall, it was a very great service. Alsothere are Soju kettles that come in a peach flavor very reminiscent of peach bellinis. Also, the fried rice here is to die for!

I come here a lot with my sister to the point I buy shots for the waiters, I tip, etc. Tonight, I waited over an hour for a singular drink and my entree that I never received. I was seeing tables around me getting served their drinks and their entrees while waiters would make an effort to walk quickly past our table only to find out that the waiter we spoke to three times tonight who said he was putting our order in, didn’t put it in a single time even though he told us he got the order and was checking in on it. The atmosphere is cool and the food is good but the service has declined SO HEAVILY. I won’t be back again. I never take the time to actually leave reviews at restaurants, but tonight was such a mess that I had to leave a review.

Google
Great Korean food for a reasonable price. The serving sizes are generous, and there was so much on the menu we wanted to try. Ordered a lot but still have much left to taste, so will be going back forsure

Google
Not been to Ohn in a long time. The food did not wow be but availability of late night korean food is awesome. Just got the basic, chicken wings, bulgogi fries and Kimchi fried rice. It used to be noisier and since there as not much crowd this friday night it was bearable and we didnt need to shout to each other.

Google
The food was amazing and it was my first time coming here! I enjoyed the atmosphere since it was very mellow and their table booths are great for a mid sized group! The way the tables are arranged also makes socialization easy!

Google
this place was good . The food was pretty good but nothing amazing or special. It might have been, but our waiter didn’t seem to excited to explain anything to us seeing how it was our first time there. So we kind of just gave up on asking and got what we seen on google... it just doesn’t seem like a place to just ..go try …unless you are familiar with Asian culture and Asian food ..sorry that we didn’t know every single thing about the menu.. I hope that 30% tip made up for it :(

Google
Absolutely incredible dining experience. My new favorite Korean restaurant! The food was DELICIOUS, service was super fast and friendly and my only complaint is that I ate way too much. When you have food that tastes this good it's hard to put your fork or in this case chopsticks down. However many pounds I gained tonight were more than worth it!!! Thank you for opening up your dining room during these insane times. The atmosphere is electric here, it was amazing to see a busy restaurant with happy boisterous customers. We even had to wait for a table which was a welcome delay. Thank you Ohn for a meal I will not forget!!!! 5 stars are too few!!!!!

Google
I was so glad I finally got to try Ohn Korean Eatery. I thought the parking lot is always full. It was not so on Christmas Eve. There were few customers at the restaurant. Service was so so. I felt rushed. Food was so so. Because waiter didn't tell me the Brisket Raymeon was made from instant noodles. I'll come back to try other dishes next time.

Yelp
Open till 2 am Wed - Sun, Ohn Korean Eatery serves up a multitude of different Korean liquor (mostly Soju) and a good mix of Korean street/bar food. My nephew and I were hungry late night so stopped in before midnight on a Wednesday, since the Vietnamese restaurant we wanted to try was unexpectedly closed. We just had food, and it was quite good: filling and satisfying. There is plenty of parking in the shared surface lot, though there were plenty of cars indicating that Ohn was still busy. We were seated in a booth, with a menu and water being brought over. Many small screens around the area were showing various K-Pop videos, with one of them syncing with the K-Pop heard throughout the restaurant. It's not a big menu, and once I saw Kimchi fried rice for $12.50, that was my choice. It came out pretty fast, a mound of freshly stir fried rice in the middle, a parboiled egg in the on top, and sprinkled with diced green onions. It came with 3 banchans, all of them kimchi (chinese cabbage, daikon, and cucumber)....I like all of them so ate, but it was overkill for my nephew. He ordered yangnyeom belly ($18), sweet and spicy glazed pork belly with yet even more kimchi. It came with a bowl of white rice. I really liked the fried rice: it had the right amount of fermented kimchi flavor with the rice not being too old. There was plenty enough for two to share. I wasn't as crazy about the pork belly...there was plenty of it, but the glaze wasn't really yangnyeom flavor...it was more like a sweet southern bbq sauce. The pork was cut into tabs (like filipino lechon) and had been deep fried to produce a very very crispy product, but still soft in the inside. The fried kimchi on the side would have been a great accompaniment, but for us with the kimchi fried rice, it was too much. We ended up taking most of it home. The waitress was attentive, refilling our water carafe as we constantly emptied it into our stainless steel cups, eating the hot and spicy food. We were done pretty quick and helped us pay at the table. I definitely got the feeling that others had been there for a while. This is as late as I've eaten in a very long time, not the case for my young nephew. It was fun trying to hang with him this late, at least this once.

Yelp
I've been coming here for a while, and the food is usually alright. The place closes at 2 AM, so I came in at 12:35 AM thinking there'd be time to eat. One waiter said the kitchen was closing soon -- no problem. But then the server Emilio said, "Yeah, we start kicking people out around 2." That's not how closing time works. Telling paying customers they're going to be kicked out is rude and unprofessional, especially when we're spending good money at a place that's not cheap. Service was weak the whole time. No water unless we asked, missing side dishes, no seasoning and it felt like we were being rushed out the entire time. Look, I get it. You're closing soon. But if you're open, then serve with respect until the kitchen closes or the lights go off. Don't treat customers like they're a problem just because it's late. Would've given 1 star, but I'll give some grace one bad apple shouldn't spoil the whole place.

Yelp
Good option for Korean bites - we were here on a Sunday early evening and were able to be immediately seated. Friendly staff plus a "ring if you need service" button makes things easy and pleasant. Tasty food...only miss for our group was the cheese corn tasted mayo-y instead of cheesy, but I found it mixed well with the kimchi/other spiced dishes to help balance the heat. The bibimbap, gyoza, and wings were all very tasty. Cool vibes inside. Parking - private lot, but gets quite full given the popularity of this strip center.

Yelp
Ohn is a cool, casual late-night spot that serves the classic Korean street foods. All of their dishes are shareable between guests as their portions are generous and the flavors are jam-packed! The vibes of the restaurant make you feel like you're literally in a middle of a food market at night. I agree with the other previous reviews that say their service is pretty slow. However, I would still come back to try other menu items because it all looks very good!
google avatar

Yelp
Food was delish. Even better the next day since my dish and rice were a little cold. Like the other reviews said, loud, and the environment is best for late night drinking. Probably wouldn't bring a large group just trying to talk here again but that's on me

Yelp
If you're looking for a chill place to eat and drink with a group of friends later in the evening, this is the place! This was my first time here and I was surprised by the variety of Korean dishes offered here. Since it was just my boyfriend and I, we had to resist the urge to over order, so we got cheese tteokbokki, garlic soy wings, and the army soup to share. The wings were yummy and crispy, but the tteokbokki could use more fish cake. The army soup was huge for the two of us, so def a bang for your buck but we also thought it would have been nice if there was fish cake in that for more variety. Pretty much a lot of the items are shareable so good for groups! It can get pretty loud in there though. There's a call button for service, which makes it really efficient!

Yelp
When the clock stroke at 12 midnight, I got anxious to get out of house. I pulled out my phone and opened Yelp app to search for a restaurant to stuff my face. So, which restaurant in Chinatown that I haven't been to? Oh. Right. Ohn Korean Eatery has been on my bookmark for quite awhile. I always thought this parking lot at Yun-Lu Center is always full for some reason. But not today. I didn't study the menu before I came. So, I picked few reviews from my Yelp friends. Victoria was praising about the Army Soup. I asked the waiter. He recommended Brisket Raymeon because it has similar ingredients minus spam. It came pretty quick. I was little disappointed about the noodles. It's just an instant noodle from package. But that humongous chunks of smoked brisket blew my mind. The service was so-so. I felt rushed as I took my time relaxing after eating. I know the kitchen closes at 1 am. I didn't need anything anyway. The waiter didn't me bancha until I asked. Overall, I like the kpop music and the cozy atmosphere. I think I'll be back to try other dishes that people have been bragging about.

Yelp
It's a cute, hip place. Very Korean street inspired. It's loud so beware if you're trying to have a quiet convo. Plenty of tvs with K Pop videos. Large alcoholic menu. The cocktails were unique and tasty. The admiral drink was great and full of coconut flavor, but they have a a lot of drinks and happy hour specials. Go here's thirsty! The bulgogi was good. The apps were good. Cute booths. Fast service. It's a cute spot to hang out with friends.

Yelp
Didn't dine in but order for take out because i really wanted to try the whole fried korean market chicken or tongdak. I got my mom the rib soup with glass noodles. Well, i got home and the tongdak was a huge disappointment it looks more like roasted chicken, not fried like on the menu. 40 bucks and 20 minutes later, the chicken i did receive isn't even redeemable its dry and under-seasoned. Kimchis pretty good, nice spice, but the fries that came with the chicken are probably frozen bag fries. Maybe i'll come back in person, but not anytime soon.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a restaurant for late night vibes and drinking and unfortunately, the food was just not good. I got the squid bibimbap, and it was not like bibimbap at all. The only banchan that came on the side was kimchi, which was disappointing. I thought there would be some other varieties like potato or fishcake but there was only one. The bibimbap was so salty because it was just dowsed in gochujang sauce. It was so hard to find rice that was white because all the rice was just covered in the gochujang sauce, and it was so salty. It was difficult to eat so I brought it home and I added rice to it. The service was OK and I tried some other dishes like the wings and fries and they were OK as well. The food I ordered just wasn't good.
google avatar

Sheyla C.

Yelp
Portions are VERY SMALL for the price. *Dosirak: this was my favorite and it had a nice flavor. *Belly dolsak bibimbap: this was flooding in kimchi & gochujang . I couldn't find a white grain of rice after mixing it together and it barely had any meat. I usually love bibimbap but this one was very hard to enjoy. *cheese tteokbokki: The rice cakes were soft but by the time we got to eat it our mouths were on fire just from the bibimbap. *peach & rice drink: they were given in TINY little cans... Menu say their food is served w/banchan but they didn't give it to us until we asked & when we got them it was sad looking. We got 5 pieces of cucumber, a tiny portion of kimchi, & 5 pieces of pickled radish.

Yelp
soo good evry time i go here :) very stylish + professional staff kream spaghetti is my all-time favorite next is the yangnyeom (sweet spicy) chicken wings kudos to the owner(s) and amazing staff!!
google avatar

Yelp
The corn cheese, kimchi fried rice (w spam) and soju blends (esp orange creamsicle and gummy bear) were all awesome. The tteokbokki, bulgogi, and pork belly were just okay. Ambience is really cool, and staff is extremely responsive when you hit the button (like less than 10 seconds fast). Parking is limited, but we parked across the street without issues.

Yelp
I was patiently waiting for ohn to open up again after being closed for 2-3 years. It used to be so lively, and the food was delicious. However, my first time trying them again since reopening was just unpleasant. Not really compelled to come here again. The soju cocktails aren't filled up all the way anymore and there's more ice than anything. The kimchi fried rice was too wet as if they used fresh rice. The wings lacked the infamous soy garlic flavor but were crispy. Lastly, the kream spaghetti was my favorite. I was so disappointed to find that it lacks flavor.
google avatar

Anthea R.

Yelp
After they reopened this summer, we went back and tried a few times some of our favourite items at Ohn, and was left disappointed. The price increased due to inflation, but the quality dropped significantly. The cheese corn doesn't come with katsuobushi anymore, and if you ask for it to be spicy they just give the chilli powder on the side instead of sprinkling on it. The size of the cast iron skillet the corn comes in has reduced in size as well. The brisket platter, pork belly, and seafood spaghetti would have tasted better if they didn't serve them lukewarm, which then proceeded to get cold in a minute or two. The soju cocktail carafes were heavily watered down with lots of ice and smaller carafe sizes as well. The late night latte wasn't stirred well and the milk sediments in the drink left an unpleasant texture on the tongue, and again, the quantity seemed to have been cut down by half. Very disappointing!

Yelp
The place is a great late night, grab a bite and a drink place. I loved the atmosphere and the K-pop vibe. Televisions everywhere you turn playing K-pop videos. It definitely hypes you up and puts you in the mood to have some fun. I am vegetarian and so options were a bit limited. I chose the French Fries to munch on which were piping hot and salty just like I like them and enough for two people to share. I got a carafe of the Gummy Bear Soju which was incredible that we had to order round two. If you are in Bellaire or just want a cool place to stop in and grab a bite and a drink, I totally recommend this place. You will be singing and dancing all night.
google avatar

Darian C.

Yelp
Good food and drinks! I tried the kimchi fried rice, the cheese corn and the melona makgeolli. I would recommend getting the cheese corn with something else (I ate it with the kimchi fried rice) because it is super cheesy and really good. The wait was one hour for a party of 9 and they asked if we could squeeze into a booth or if we could wait for a bit longer so we sat in the booth. The workers were super nice and would give us more water with out us having to ask. They would also ask us if we wanted to order more drinks often!
google avatar

Yelp
Ohn is located on Corporate Drive, outside of Bellaire Blvd where the majority of the restaurants in Chinatown are. This makes it a great place to dine in if you're wanting to avoid the hectic Chinatown traffic. My friends and I love coming here to have great late night food and drinks. The concept indoors resembles dining at a local street food market in Seoul. The service you get here is quick and efficient. Each table has a bell that you can press at any time to get the attention of a server. As for the food that they serve here, there's classic Korean street food and also some fusion dishes. It's best to order things family style so everyone can sample a little bit of everything. I always get the garlic soy wings and the kream spaghetti. The wings are super crispy and the skin has so much flavor, a delicious blend of sweet and salty. The kream spaghetti is the one fusion dish you have to get. It's packed with plenty of mussels and the sauce is super cheesy and creamy without it being overwhelming. Another must have is the tteokbokki. It's spicy rice cakes with a hint of sweetness but make sure you also eat the fish cake that it comes with. I recommend eating it as soon as it arrives to get the best cheese pull. To balance out our spicy dishes, we ordered the dosiral. It's basically rice, egg, spam, seaweed, veggies, and gochujang served in a metal tin. You close it up and shake all the ingredients together to create a mixed rice dish. Be sure to try their alcoholic drinks. They always have different drink specials going on. You can order different flavors soju either by bottle or carafe. One carafe gave our party of 3 about 5 shots. If you're looking for a place to chill with friends or have late night munchies, Ohn is the place for you.

Yelp
Ohn has been closed temporarily for a little while now, but we're all hoping it will come back. It's one of the few innovative late night options around Houston. Most good food in Houston is not late night. I will update this review as soon as it is back open again, so watch this space. We'll start with a rap, though. Queen Elizabeth sits on a THRONE And Communism got OVERTHROWN Bill Clinton's intern got him BLOWN But there's no Korean quite like OHN You used to call me on my CELLPHONE You used to leave a message at the TONE But now you're touching road on some other Yelper's BONE Still there's no Korean quite like OHN So I Arma-traded you for JOAN And like the Mona Lisa I made her MOAN I must have a heart because I got her ALONE And there's no Korean quite like OHN WHAT I've made a whole Korea out of trying Korean places. And this one is very good, indeed. And nice and cheap! I have friends in the family that own... or should I say Ohn... a lot of businesses that are back here on Clarewood and Corporate close to the heart of Chinatown, and also in Dun Huang Plaza, and some of the businesses are a massive hit with me, for example I like Mein Restaurant, and Tea Top for Boba is a true amazing winner, both in Chinatown and Katy. I'm less crazy about Aqua S and Tiger Den, and Night Market Thai is probably my least favourite spot around when it comes to Thai food. But if we're talking about Korean food, then Houston does have some great options, and for me this restaurant, while not quite at the level of those great options, is also not bad. It's a good location for hanging out late night and drinking, and it has wonderful decor definitely. Some of the employees are super friendly, and it definitely has a sexy late-night Korean bar Vibe, which is very important to some people. For food alone I would give it three stars and for prices the same. But the decor is so imaginative and well-done and the place is open very late, and it has a lot of good things going for it. For these reasons, I pump it up to 4 stars, not to mention I the ownership family, especially the ones that I know. And although the whole corporate expansion thing doesn't appeal to me (no pun intended since this is down Corporate Drive), I do think some of the businesses are good, such as Ohn Korean, and I wish the family very well. And I was going to be a Korea politician until I realized that I'm not Korean.

Yelp
When my friends and I came to this place a few years ago, we were in love! Everything we had was so delicious. Following their close during covid, the restaurant switched owners, and I'm sad to say the food has definitely decreased in quality since. It was not bad, but not great like it used to be. There were mainly issues with texture, such as the skin of the wings being too thick, the rice was mushy, and the cheese on the corn cheese was just like a solid block of cheese. :( The service was quick and the ambiance of the place is fun and trendy. Overall, not a bad place for a night out with friends, but just a disappointing experience if you're used to the amazing food pre-covid.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been trying to come to Ohn for a bit and was excited to finally try it out. Honestly, I was disappointed with the service and attitude the host gave us but we were able to be seated in the end. We came as a group of 6 and ordered five different dishes. The squid bokkeum was underwhelming since it was lacking flavor and had too much sauce. The kream spaghetti had a nice amount of seafood and the corn cheese was very creamy and sweet. The soy garlic wings were my favorite and was crispy and seasoned well. I was not a fan of the soy tteobokki and the texture of the rice cakes threw me off. I think this place is nice to get late night drinks and catch up with friends, but the food just did not have the flavor profile that would make me come back along with the long wait time. Parking is also difficult especially if you come later.

Mama T.

Yelp
Came by here during my business trip and Oh My God! I feel sorry for Houstonians...how is this place getting away with fake Korean food? Is it the loud k-pop??? LMAO Might be...no actually, it is by far the worst Korean food I've ever had. I don't ever write reviews, but I had to make an account just to spread awareness. These ppl are playing you all for a fool! Do not get fooled by the MSG and extra sugar to cover for using their frozen, pre-made, pre-packaged, pre-fried, microwaved, nasty food. In conclusion, it was a complete waste of time and money. Won't ever be back, thanks.
google avatar

Kaitlyn P.

Yelp
Was super excited to hear that this place was opening again but left a little bit disappointed in the quality of food for the price I paid. The kimchi fried rice was very soggy //-: compared to how I remembered it. And the corn cheese was very bland. Additionally for the craft soju -- there's just way too much ice in it that whenever you pour into a glass, there's always ice in the shot glass. Overall, I think since it's a full new kitchen, i'd give it a little bit more time for the food quality to be better.
google avatar

Yelp
Ohn finally reopened!! After finally coming back here after covid, Ohn is as good as ever! We came here on a Fri night so it was pretty busy, but the line moved quickly. We ordered bulgogi fries, mandu, wings, and multiple flavors of soju/maksosa. This is definitely the spot if you're in the mood for Korean bites and soju. The service is very fast, and they use the call buttons at each table if you need a server. It's also nice that they have big tables for bigger party sizes. Cheers!
google avatar

Jenn T.

Yelp
The quality of Ohn has definitely dropped after they had that little break during covid. The food is less flavorful and the portions are smaller. The service is still mediocre at best. The restaurant is dark and has that Korean drinking pocha vibe which is great if you're just looking to get some drinks with your friends however, if you're looking for a place with food that is going to blow you away, I would look elsewhere.
google avatar

Yelp
This was our first time really trying Korean food, and it was just plain awesome. Dosirak and Kream spaghetti were our favorites; the Yangneom wings were also really good. Cheese corn wasn't bad but I wouldn't order it again. Can't wait to return on our next trip to Houston!
google avatar

Lynn M.

Yelp
Service: very quick and the environment was clean Food: Cheese corn: good. I personally love cheesy corn Kimchi fried rice: this was good as well. Very flavorful and went great with the cheese tteolbokki cheese tteolbokki: this was good over rice it had fish cake in it as well. Yangnyeom wings: this was okay. Next time I would reconcile pass on this.

Duyen D.

Yelp
The service here is fantastic! And pretty good portions of food. But The kimchi fried rice was kind of too soft, and the music was a bit too loud.

Yelp
The last korean drinking spot I loved in ktown (gessner and i10 west) closed down so this place will have to replace it. The food is pretty good but you know...when u r out for drinks, anything will do plus the ambiance is on point. Will definitely return to bring real life friends. The wings...man you gotta try the wings. Definitely legit. So...I apparently didn't finish my review above...not sure when I wrote it but I'm assuming when I first checked in. Fast forward to tonight, June 2023 and my son is now working at the host stand and I am coming back in need of a drinking spot and I find myself back to Ohn. It was exactly like how I remembered. Love the ambiance and vibe of this place and the service was great, even though it was super busy! Our waiter kept up with us while doing laps around to serve the rest of his tables. Food was definitely on point. I had the brisket which was probably a lot fattier than I expected but better than Loro's. It went well with kinship. Wish they hooked you up with lettuce. We also had what seemed like mever ending fries but it eventually ended. The sauce they gave was spicy and could've used a tad more sugar to balance but that's just me. The wings were fat crispy and saucy. but the best part for me was the gimmari. Don't skimp on this little side dish that should be on the appetizers page, I almost missed it! They were the perfect bite size, crispy and well seasoned. I'll become a regular soon enough!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the most popular spots in Houston for good reason! Their food is always tasty, and the soju cocktails are so easy to drink. You can't go wrong with their kimchi fried rice with pork belly, or any of their bibimbap choices. Ohn is moody and cozy, like many other Korean pocha style restaurants. The one thing that can be a little off putting would be the service. It feels like they're often understaffed, and can take a while for takings orders, bringing water, and acknowledging the customer.

Yelp
Location: Bellaire/ Chinatown approximately 25 minutes from downtown. Ambience: Relaxed and fun environment with a variety of Korean Pop (K-Pop) music on the televisions Staff: Friendly and knowledgeable about the menu Menu Options: Wide variety with family-style portions. We ordered the Bulgogi (I'd give it a 7.5/10) it comes out quickly in a sizzling skillet but the taste lacked a little flavor. We ordered the Corn Cheese (5/10) it was a little underwhelming. Soy Garlic Wings (8.5/10) were hot, crispy, good sow and garlic flavor. Overall good wings. The last thing we got was the Pork Belly (8/10) they were cooked well, good flavor with a sweet and spicy taste. It came with Kimchi (4/10) but i don't like Kimchi (so that's biased). Price: We paid -$77 for everything including a Strawberry Soju Caraft (7/10) it was sweet. They only serve water and alcoholic beverages (odd) . Overall, i enjoyed the experience but would likely try a different place to compare.

I got a very nice to-go experience! Yummy food, and very quick service. I went to pick up the order and the lighting was colorful and dim, i like the train station theme!

Yelp
a fun place to go to for korean food! menu: everything that i tried was good! would definitely recommend trying a carafe soju if you can drink alcohol and doing family style for the food so you can enjoy a variety of things since the servings are big! top eats would be the hot cheetos cheese corn, garlic soy wings, and strawberry carafe soju! if you are wanting a smaller portion or a meal for yourself would recommend the dosirak! seating: i went right at 5 so i was able to get a table pretty quick! sad part was that since the restaurant is on the smaller side so are the tables so for my group of 9 we had to all share a booth table so it was pretty cramped. definitely not the best place for a group to eat at parking: they share a parking strip with other stores so parking does get taken up pretty fast. if you come early (5-6) then parking shouldn't be a problem

Yelp
Ohn is a good time for any group who wants to have some simple Korean dishes with a fun atmosphere. The garlic soy wings are very flavorful with plenty of meat on the bones. The brisket is obviously not Texas bbq level but still tasty and quite tender. And while I wasn't expecting much with the pork mandu (the menu says "beef bulgogi" but it wasn't available when I went), I still enjoyed it for the most part. Drinks can be a little on the pricey side but the so-maek tower is a good order for your table. Enjoy the kpop videos playing along the walls as well!

Yelp
Intimate place for Korean food. This place was dim with an inviting atmosphere. The service here was decent. Service can be slow due to the how busy it gets. First off, the ban chan was okay. I was hoping for more varieties. We had the army soup and that was okay. I didn't care to much for the spam and hotdogs in a cheesy broth. The Korean spaghetti was delicious! It was creamy and tasty! The mussels were great with it. The kimchi fried rice was awesome! I love the the rich flavors and the crisp of the rice. The corn cheese and cheese tteokbokki were also great! They were great appetizers! The bulgogi fries were okay. The fire a could be be more crispy. The wings were great. We had yangnyeom and garlic soy wings. They're were crispy and loaded with tons of fla

Yelp
Ok food. Nothing out of the ordinary. They stay open late. Service was ok. Might be back to give them another try.

Yelp
Ohn is pretty much a staple amongst the younger crowd that ventures around the area. If you're under 25, into Asian culture, and don't know about Ohn, you will at some point, especially after a late night out. I've been back a few times over the years and the food is frequently good. The Kimchi friend rice is tasty, made creamy from the poached egg. The Yangnyeom wings are good and will satisfy your chicken cravings, albeit they don't really hold a candle to other KFC (Korean fried chicken) that specializes in it. I was told the Yangnyeom Belly's fried and was under the impression it'd be crisp, but it was actually a bit chewy in texture although the flavor is there + along with the palate cleansing pairings of the side dishes. Feel free to fight me when I say the corn cheese is the best thing-- I love corn and cheese, I love corn cheese, and I especially devour'd Ohn's corn cheese which has a great, slightly sweet flavor and charred cheese on top. Yum yum yum. I will admit that the environment is a little overstimulating for me, with its bright colors and k-pop playing on screen and k-pop blasting through the speakers. But hey, that's me and not the fault of the establishment. Customer service has been good the times I've went, the servers friendly and attentive (there's a call button next to your booth but they come quick). Don't really have anything negative to say about this place, so definitely give it a go :)

Yelp
Kpop and dark moody is the vibe. The kream spaghetti is really good, it has alot of protein and I recommend to get that dish 8/10. The Seoul brisket was like any other brisket, and it came out cold. Not sure if it was the lighting but the color of the brisket also made it look unappetizing 6/10. This place is definitely worth a try, and if you want to listen to kpop while you eat! (Make sure you open the right door becuase the left side is a different restaurant)

Yelp
Saturday night. Seems like a very slow night for them. We order a few items including Korean fried chicken . One was soy garlic and the other was spicy. The spicy really wasn't that great. All you can taste is the spicy there was zero flavors. Soy garlic was good.. I feel like everything is so different here now. They even charge for a second round of sides. When brought out, the daikon was like 5 tiny pieces and a tiny portion of kimchi. I asked for seconds and they said there was charge !!!!! That's crazy!! Why charge and you only have me small sides. Tony tiny portions. That's sad. It was very quiet and they were not even close to busy. What a disappointment!! Probably will not be back .

Yelp
Great for late nights with friends! The rosé ttebokki was the best I have ever had, and I would come just for it. The fish cake soup was good, but wish it had other veggies instead of just water grass. This place is the epitome of drunk food with a nice dark atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
We were looking for a Korean bar open late a night so we could do some serious soju drinking. Ohn was one of the only places in Houston that seemed to fit our needs. It still boggles my mind how early things close in Texas. We got in around midnight and stayed till close. In terms of food we had the brisket ramyeon and the squid bokkeum. I really recommend the brisket ramen even though it just sounds like they beefed up (no pun intended) a packet of instant ramen. The broth was really deep and it really hit the spot!

Yelp
Former employee there and I have to say it was one of the worst places to work. Owner berates all his employees and he enjoys talking sh*t about his employees to his friends that visit him (they like to leech on him for free food). He also preaches communism to us and how great China is doing compared to the US (yes, he's Chinese). His wife who I believe is from North Korea also encourages him and she's just like what you would imagine, classic storybook witch lol Can't believe customers fall for his scam when dude knows nothing about Korean food lmao Owner uses the cheapest ingredients he can find and youtubes recipes to copy. Oh by the way, the kitchen never washes their produce delivery. And you should see some of the roaches that live there! I ALWAYS packed my lunch for work lol I guess if you're into communism and kpop, it's a decent place for kids to hang out at night. But please don't get scammed. Even their soju cocktails are a scam. Be safe out there kids! Tip of the day: avoid the corn cheese (trust me)

Yelp
Doesn't take reservations beforehand, was packed on a Saturday at 7pm. Put our name and phone number down for a reservation, waited an hour for our table for 3. They have benches outside to sit while waiting. Loud and darker inside, they have K-pop music videos playing on walls and seating is huge wooden tables in booths. Ordered the kimchi fried rice, corn cheese, mango sake, garlic soy wings, and cheese tteokbokki. Loved the corn cheese and garlic soy wings. The kimchi fried rice was good, but nothing amazing. The tteokbokki was tasty too. The mango sake was flavorful, but wasn't very strong. Fun to place to eat at with a big group!

Yelp
The service was fast but the server does not know about the menu so well, maybe she is newly hired. This is our first time to dine in but our experience was not that exciting. The soup that we ordered is suppeerrrr spicy and we were not told about itthough the taste is not that fantastic. Everything that we ordered were ok but not the best. We are 4 in a group and as u can see on my picture they only give u that much of free side dishif u want to ask for more you will be billed But its ok the side dish that u can buy in HMart is far better Chicken wings with a touch of little kick and sweetness is ok. The ambiance is ok . But maybe we will bot come back again. But at least we have tried despite of the reviews from the other yelpers

Yelp
This spot has such a fun atmosphere! You got kpop music playing on all the screens. This is a great spot to hangout with your friends. If you need the waiter, there is a button to press. The food are all shareable and very big portions. They were all delicious!

Yelp
Great gem in Asiatown to have late night Korean bites with Korean drinks. Delicious meats like bulgogi and pork belly served with soju is a great night out with friends any time. Highly recommended!
