10 and of 10 for taste! The food was excellent. My friend ordered the crab shrimp and mussels with OHOT sauce. Delicious. We also ordered the fried catfish basket. Fish was cooked perfectly. And lastly we had fresh oysters they were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back.

We ordered: —> scallop and Dungeness crab bag with Cajun seasoning with broccoli and 2 boiled eggs added —> Sausage fired rice —> 12 fried shrimp —> 12 oysters —> Po Boy sandwich Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was quick. I’m gluten free so I only ate the seafood boil. I’m was pleased with the gluten free option. We will be returning the next time we want a quick seafood meal.

OHot Cajun was great!! We truly enjoyed our seafood tonight. Well worth the $40.00 per plate. I could not finish my dish. I am definitely coming back.

We stopped in for lunch as a group of 4 on a Monday. We had the most fantastic meal- the best hush puppies any of us have ever eaten, amazing bag boil to split, and fried oysters and po boy. Every single thing was delicious and made to perfection! Our server Andrew was kind and attentive and provided great service! We can’t get over how wonderful everything was. 10/10 recommend!

BEWARE‼️ GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE, BAD REVIEWS ARE TRUE ⚠️‼️The fried shrimp were good but their signature seafood boil bag was disgusting! No flavor, everything in the bag was over cooked, down to the eggs (that they charge an extra $2.50)! I’ve NEVER SEEN a Snow Crabs so small! Called to speak to the manager, and just like a review they already have, the manager wasn’t available! I’ve attached pictures of their “signature seafood bag” with the watery, flavorless sauce, and small snow crab🤮

The seafood boil is why you come and it was all I was hoping it would be. Got the Cajun and garlic sauce mix, perfect heat level. Picked out our own seafood with crawfish, shrimp, clams and scallops. All were great! Decor somewhat beach themed. Would definitely go back.

Their seafood boils are great as well as their raw oysters. Not sure about the rest of their menu, its me and my kids favorite local seafood spot.

We got a seafood boil with snow crab leg cluster, lobster tail, shrimp and sausage. We also got an order of fried flounder. The fried flounder was amazing with the tartar sauce, by far my favorite thing. The rest of the food was good too, my only complaint is that the crab leg cluster and lobster tail are salt water, so they stick to the shell when you crack them open, which is a pain. But otherwise it’s really good, I will come back for sure.

On a recent visit we almost did not enter the restaurant because the store front is dark and dingy, off putting. However we did enter and were pleasantly surprised not only by the decor but also by the friendly staff. The efficient friendly service continued throughout our visit. The sea food was fresh, tasty, and abundant. We will return to sample some of the many options on the menu. On this trip I had the Oh Hot boil, yum and my partner had fried shrimp. Both were delicious. If you like seafood you must put this on your list.

I've definitely enjoyed OHot over the past few years that they've been in Abington. Things started out amazing when they first opened. The portions seemed to be larger, with a lot of corn and potatoes in the takeout orders. More recently, prices have gone up and the portions have come down. I dined in with a few friends and while the food was good, there was hardly any corn or potatoes with our meals. Hopefully this is a temporary thing and they'll return back to serving appropriate portions for the prices they're charging.

I've been here twice within the past week and both times the food has been delicious. Stopped last weekend to get my partner's mom a crab boil and shrimp basket. She was kind enough to share and wow, the shrimp and fries were both well seasoned and tasty. I returned today for my own crab boil with lobster, crab and shrimp. I also got the clam chowder and mousse cake. The clam chowder was good I would definitely order it again. I've had clam chowder at about 5-6 different restaurants this year alone and this was a good one. My seafood boil was good although I do feel like it was a little light on the sodium. Some extra old bay I think could fix that. I got the spicy Ohot and could have gone with extra spicy in retrospect because honestly it was just flavourful not spicy. I do feel like it was slightly overcooked, it was very difficult getting the shrimp fully out of the shell. I did appreciate that the corn wasn't mushy like many boil spots. The mousse cake was okay. The cake portion was a little dry but the mousse was creamy and delicious and made up for it. Being a baker and a chocoholic I'm very critical of chocolate cake so take that with a grain of salt. I think most would really enjoy it.

Went in for fried fish- ended up getting the po boy fish sandwich it was not bad actually tasted good for the little bites I had. My only problem was is that they give you this crispy fried tiny piece of fish on this huge bun. I just left Virginia a few weeks ago and they give you like three four piece of fish on a sandwich. Big difference!! For what ohot is charging - 12.99, I felt like I had a piece of Ms Paul and not the square patty! My sandwich had pieces that were so hard they crumbled so that's not fish. It was grease. I also had the shrimp rolls they were excellent. The waitress service was great! I would give this place another try, because I think they have a nice menu and more to offer, but they can't be cheap on your food. That sandwich was less than a shorty wawa hoagie, so passing on the po boy fish sandwich.

The seafood boil's are amazing !! I had the 2 clusters of snow crab w/ noodles. Bruh, sooo soo soo good!! Definitivamente recomiendo!

It's a wonderful restaurant for cajun seafood and located in Abington shopping center. The raw oysters are very fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

So I have been looking forward to trying this little place and tonight was the night. The name made my wife concerned that everything would be spicy, but that's not the case. I was excited to see Po'Boy sandwiches on the menu. We ordered an oyster and a shrimp Po'Boy. They come with a choice of fries or soup. Clam chowder was our choice! I also ordered the catfish basket which also came with fries and your choice of sauce. The restaurant wasn't crowded, but it wasn't even 6:00 yet. My order was brought out shortly after arriving and packaged quite nicely I might add. As we drove home different aromas were coming from the bag only making more excited to try it. The sandwiches came with a sauce on the side and the bread was a perfect match. Both sandwiches were still hot and had great taste without being greasy. The chowder was quite tasty and yet was a little different which I liked. The seasoning was perfect for me. The catfish was piping hot with a light batter. It was perfectly cooked and flakes apart. As my daughter said, I think we found a hidden gem. Definitely excited to go back and get some crab! Give it a try. They do a great job.

I have no clue what I did in my life without discovering these Cajun boil bags but I'm so glad I did.... This is the second restaurant that specified in these boil bags and let me tell you it did not disappoint! I don't get them spicy just a little spice but not anything hot. Of course I went with a lobster tail. Clams. Shrimp with head off and I got a little bit of snow crab it came with potatoes and corn I realize what these Cajun boil bags they're not like a New England clam bake so you do not put the sausage in. It was hot delicious nothing was overcooked just perfect

This is the absolute worst place I have ever eaten seafood. I I should have known based off outside atmosphere of the store. It speaks dump, but I had read a comment that said don't judge the food based off the exterior. Well that was completely wrong.. the flounder french fries and catfish my husband and I had taste just like grease. We didn't even finish it. I am so fed up with takeout in this vicinity overpriced and the quality is extremely poor. Keep your money and keep it moving straight onto the next.

Tasty and fresh food- generous portions!! The sauces are all also tasty, especially the spicy Cajun.

I did take out from them for my birthday. The food was tasty. Service was not something I can gage but the staff was nice. Would go back

The food was delicious and the boiled shrimp, broccoli, and corn on the cob my family had the fried shrimp and fries it tasted delicious it was the best fresh seafood I have ever had. The service was amazing and the ambiance was amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone I am going to give them a five star rating.

My husband and I ordered lunch from OHot this afternoon. We both got shrimp po'boys, which come with fries. We also ordered hush puppies and a side of cole slaw. The po'boys came with 5 huge fried shrimp, lettuce, tomato, and a sauce on the side. The hush puppies come with the same sauce. The fries that come with the sandwich are the battered kind. We thoroughly enjoyed everything! It was fresh and delicious. We are excited to try the seafood platters in the near future. Highly recommend!!

First time we went the seafood was great!!! I mean finger licking good!!! Second time we got it to go and it wasn't like the first time. It was a little to plain and not enough seasoning!!!! The third time we ordered to go as well and we said well this time we will ask for extra seasoning and they told us we couldn't!!! I wondering why? We even offered to pay extra and they still said no. Prices are high so be prepared to pay. We gave them 3 chances and we haven't went back since. Charging prices like that we should be able to get it how we want. One thing good I can say to be fair is at least they seafood is fresh and not low grade.

This place is surprisingly good considering it's location and reasonably priced in my opinion. I got one of the combos as well some fries and hush puppies. Also got some corn which was tasty, So nice to have variety in the area.

The food was very, very good. The fish was very fresh and cooked perfectly. I don't prefer the sauce poured on (two much butter for me) so I requested it , spicy, on the side. It's so so so much butter that the spice all settles to the bottom of the bowl. We ended up pouring most of the butter out and then it was perfect. Unfortunately, our server wasn't sure if the kitchen could make certain accommodations (like the same amt. of spice with only 1/4-1/2 the butter) . Service was friendly but inexperienced. Ambiance was simple but cute and clean. I'll be definitely be returning .

Yummm. These seafood boils are full of flavor made me feel like I was at an authentic seafood restaurant at the beach. We got the lobster crab shrimp combo. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. I don't just give five stars easily. Got to be that good. I can't speak on ambiance as we just picked it up but I noticed it's byob. Will be planning a feast there soon.

Food is amazing! Fresh! I loved the decorations and feel was homey & very friendly! I got the garlic crab bowl with shrimp & potatoes and the fresh fries with old bay seasoning. I have gluten intolerant and didn't get sick! 5 stars and can't wait to eat there again!

This really wasn't what I expected. The seafood boils were less filled than other restaurants and they came with hardly any sauce in the them. The service wasn't all that great due to short staffing. We had a large party and only two servers were working the entire restaurant. It wasn't too bad but I was just underwhelmed. Not to mention drinks were served in red cups (never had that at a restaurant before).

So delicious. Had a boiled snow crab and shrimp bag with Ohot seasoning and it was a little pricey but SO delicious. Also ordered fried wings (plain) which was also surprisingly delicious. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

This spot sits in the middle of a plaza but is SERVING some delish seafood. A bit on the pricey side but I feel like that is to be expected for seafood restaurants in general. I ordered quite a few items cuz I'm indecisive. The OMG combo had a great assortment of ez peel shrimp, little neck clams, andouille sausage (I believe) and a couple snow crab clusters. Kept this combo in the OHot sauce at a mild spicy level since I was sharing with my guy... he can't handle the heat. I believe the OHot sauce is Cajun spices combined with old bay seasoning and minced garlic in butter. The OMG combo was CRAZY GOOD! Also ordered 1/2lb black mussels which were plump and delectable in the garlic butter sauce. The 1/2lb crawfish order required that OHot sauce at the spicy level. I loved the heat of this dish and it had my nose running lol! Each seafood order came with corn & potatoes in the bag, soaking up the great flavor from the sauce. The hush puppies with the mayo creole dip was a great accompaniment. Too bad I didn't have French baguette or some kind of crusty bread on hand for dipping into the sauces cuz they were nothing short of amazing. Coming back real soon!

I was spontaneously drawn here by the Grand Opening banner (announcing their replacement of what was http://yelp.com/biz/hunan-village-abington Hunan Village, which had been there at least a decade). Based on what I read herein before entering, I had the Shrimp Po Boy in mind. I asked what to get; server suggested the Chicken Po Boy, which he likes best because of its mass (and he likes chicken, perhaps better than shrimp). I got the Shrimp Po Boy and drove 0:10 home. (I'm no Po Boy connoisseur, but quite enjoyed those I frequently ate in New Orleans.) It was well packaged and still warm (and not soggy) once home. An ample (4 oz) portion of tasty (mayonnaise-based) remoulade was provided in a separate container. The batter-fried shrimp were large and perfectly delicious. The roll was fresh and tasty. The 'dressed' sandwich was as good as those I had in NOLA. The sandwich comes with a side (soup or French Fries); I got the clam chowder, which was pleasant, but not great. They surprisingly opened during a pandemic, when many restaurants are failing; hope they make it.

The O-Please meal was fantastic my wife kept saying " this is soooo good " . You will not be disappointed!

We could not be happier that this place has opened. The food is very, very good. The price is fabulous. We have ordered from here six times in the last five weeks, and everything we've tried is awesome. The shrimp is our favorite, and the O-Please dinner feeds are family of three. The Po Boys (we've had shrimp and catfish) are excellent, as are the fried baskets, especially the fried oysters. You simply cannot go wrong ordering out from here. I cannot wait until they open for seating.

Officially my go-to crawfish boil place! I have only gotten takeout and glad to see they are adhereing to safety measures during a pandemic. Amazing crawfish! I have tried almost all their flavors and here are my personal recommendations from favorites to meh: Ohot - amazing and personal favorite Garlic butter - yummy, you can't go wrong with a classic Cajun - also good Dry - nope, no sauce more of a coating of seasoning I also tried their clam chowder - it was good but a bit too salty

Food 5 stars! Experience 3.5 stars Such a delicious experience! Ordered their Po'Boy shrimp sandwich, OMG house combo and calamari. The combo came with 1lb of shrimp, 2 clusters of snow crab, 1/2 of clam and 1/2 of sausage for $50! Great deal in my opinion and was so DELICIOUS! You couldn't tell it was carry out! The shrimp PoBoy was also delicious but sadly didn't do as well in transit. Considering how great the boil was the calamari was underwhelming but but good and crunchy. Ordered a Friday night around 6pm. The downside was the wait for pick up. When ordering online the confirmation said it would be ready in 10-20 minutes. (SUPER easy to order thru their website. ) When I arrived 20 mins later ( assuming it would take longer given the day and time) the lobby to the restaurant was pretty full 15-20 people. Ultimately I ended waiting and additional 30 mins for my order to be ready. The lobby was filled with several disgruntled customers also waiting for their order. Over all not a big deal considering the quality of the food, but next time will allow more time for pick up and wait in my car. Given covid, I wish the restaurant would do give more accurate wait times to avoid a large crowd in their small entrance to better protect staff and customers.

This is one of our absolutely favorite places to order from. The food is fantastic, the service is fast, and the people are so friendly and helpful. I don't know what they do to season and brine (?) the wings, but wow they are awesome. The Po Boys are also top-notch, particularly with the sauce they put on them. We've honestly enjoyed everything we've had here, and it has become one of our go-to spots for takeout.

Little hidden gem! Ask for bottled water if you want water, otherwise you get tap and it doesn't taste good (not their fault) i dined in on a Wednesday afternoon... place was empty. Their Oh Hot seasoning was very good but very heavy on the garlic. Crabs were cooked great and very flavorful!

I usually don't write reviews but I felt like this place is so underrated!! There are no seafood boil restaurants near me but when I saw OHot Cajun Seafood opened, I thought I should give it a try even though I was skeptical because the prices seemed too good for the amount we get. But I couldn't be happier with my experience! We got the O-Yes and O-Please combo with the crab fries and it was amazing! All the food was cooked perfectly! No mushy shrimp or uncooked potatoes! Although the seasoning could use a little more salt, everything was great!!! their prices can't be beat!

Tasty but very salty. Maybe its my personal preference but I had to drink a lot of water the rest of the day. The lobster and snow crab legs I got were on the thinner side.

Everything was fresh and seasoned very well. Some seafood places just give one piece of corn and 2 potatoes. They give you a lot. My go to for steam bag seafood places is the dungeness, shrimp and mussel combo. Will be back very soon!

Excellent seafood. I don't know why more folks are not here. Steamed, broiled and fried, all the seafood is delectable. Only two years old in Oct. I hope it flourishes, so come and visit. Reasonable prices. Different levels of spice was. Food too for non-seafood lovers such as Po Boys and spaghetti. Hush puppies, Cajun fries. Yum! BYOB.

I picked up a fried flounder basket today, and the fish was what you could expect from a fast food joint; just this side of inedible. I really don't blame the restaurant too much, because fish is always a gamble unless you catch it yourself, which I always did before covid hit. The fries were decent so I gave two stars for that.

This place is clean, the employees are friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the food is good! Check it out!
