18 Perfect Phoenix Restaurant Patios for Dining Alfresco

"For a casual evening filled with games and beer, head to O.S.H.O Brewery. The patio features a variety of outdoor activities from corn hole to ping pong to bocce ball. Pets are welcome here, too. Start the meal with a plate of buffalo cauliflower — the right blend of crunch with a hit of spice — or share a cheese board and some artichoke dip. O.H.S.O.’s kitchen serves a wide range of burgers including one topped with green chile. This isn’t exactly a chill spot, but it is fun, and there are three Valley locations." - Mcconnell Quinn, Nikki Buchanan, jamiekillin, Rudri Patel

Great spot to come for brunch on weekends, it includes a beer and it’s tasty, good value. However the best is the happy hour. Pitcher of beer 32oz for 8 dollars. 11 am to 6 pm. My go to beer is the Lost Viking. Absolutely fantastic to come and have a good time. The place is dog friendly. Also their Bloody Mary is fantastic, get one!

This is a nice space for mimosa brunch. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It’s spacious but it was a little bit in early September on the patio.

Caterory: Elevated Comfort Food. The folks behind OHSO really know how to nail a wanna-be-there casual vibe, as they have done in spades at the Shea and Tatum location. The huge outdoor, well-shaded, Edison-bulb-illuminated, mini-palm-treed, mistered, dog-friendly, wicker-lanterned outdoor patio with its own big, rectangular, TV-dominated, well-worn wooden bar are all we need almost any night. There are also big tables with padded seats and picnic tables for groups. If you prefer non-fresco dining, the inside has its own cool and colorful vibe, with another big rectangular bar, padded booths and big, heavy wooden tables and a fully-on-display operating brewery. So of course the beer list is epic. But we're wine people and there were enough under-$50s to make us happy, and Sarah was made even happier by a cocktail suggested by the bartender, who gave us excellent service, both food and drink. The menu offers a wide selection of elevated comfort food. We shared the Steak & Fries starter (I recommend the smother-it-in-cheese-sauce option; otherwise it seems like too many fries) and the Savory Shrimp Taco Board. We'll be back, with the dogs next time. Chef's Apprentice YouTube and blog

Cool spot to chill and watch a game. There are two bars, inside and outside. There are several seating options. It's a good place for large families and singles. TVs throughout. The OSHO chopped salad with blackened shrimp was well prepared. I highly recommend it. There's plenty of parking with accessible spaces and entrances.

Google
This place is the literal best. The entire staff is always super kind and very attentive. The food is very good, and the brunch menu rotates a new special every month (we come a good bit for brunch). The environment is extremely relaxing, and the patio is dog friendly, so there’s usually some friendly faces looking for scratches. Highly recommend here for any meal.

Google
I’ve been to all the OHSO locations and this is by far the best one! They have a newer, more unique menu. I loved the PBJ burger but can’t wait to try to bbq burger, brisket, and salmon BLT. I am celiac and this is one of my most trusted places. Keep up the good work on avoiding cross contamination! They even have a gluten-free Holidaily beer which made my celiac dreams come true. If the staff is reading this, thank you for providing a variety of good gluten free menu items, including fries! The menu and attention to allergen handling in the kitchen is very much appreciated One note is that I wish they added more toppings to their burger. The toppings tend to be lacking a bit and only in the center of the burger

William is an awesome friendly and involved manager with an attentive, consistently kind and high level service team. :) Each that we’ve experienced has been friendly, on top of things, and fun. I host a group of single people (individual checks) ranging from 5-25 people that has been coming to this location every other week for over a year now. We truly enjoy coming back each time because we know it’ll include great food, awesome service and consistent joy. We appreciate you OHSO PV!! 😊🎉

Google
Must Try! Local jewel! Greeted with in 3 min, water brought to the table within the same 3 min. Leadyn took our order with in 5 min. The waiter explained the food items we were interested in and offered info on the beers. Wow big place and great service. Popsicle blonde beer had a slightly sweet smell and I liked the slight sweet taste even though I don’t usually drink beer ;) Food quickly arrived hot and delicious, our waiter was so personable. The place started to get busy about 11:44 , bit there is so much seating it is ok :) Pleasant music in the background not too loud. My husband tried samples of Over the Pants Shanty beer - he liked this one the best! Flavor was great! He also tried a sample of the Permanent Vacay beer as well

Yelp
Ok, these guys know how to do street tacos! I had the Happy Hour $10 Guajillo Chili Chicken Street Tacos (2) [actually 4, if you play your tortillas right]. So flavorful! And the Bavarian Bites are marvelous! Definitely add O.H.S.O. to your rotation!

Yelp
The moment I stepped to the front desk, I accidentally stepped on something a dog left behind. It was DISGUSTING. I understand that it's a dog friendly place but that means cleanliness should be prioritized 110%. Also, shame on that lazy dog owner for not cleaning up their dog's mess. Other than that, bathrooms were clean (thankfully dogs aren't allowed in the indoor dining section). I got the blackened salmon. It was ok but the lemon butter was lacking the lemon part. Definitely need that acid to cut through the salmon and butter fat.

Yelp
I went for brunch with my dog and my mom. The only reason to give OHSO 4 stars and not 5 ... for brunch: no real maple syrup- they only have the plastic stuff it's so sweet and gross, and they don't have many veggie options, which makes me sad because they have so many good meat options. Why can't they have one or two creative veggie dishes??? Others than that I love this spot and my dog was in heaven. They have a dog menu!! He scarfed his eggs and burger patties!! I had a mimosa which was divine!! They can add different juice flavors, I got orange and grapefruit, and my mom got cranberry. I got all sides cause I wasn't really feeling the menu with no good veg options. My mom had the avocado toast without eggs (she doesn't like them) and it was sooooo good. They toss the arugula with this citrus olive oil that was so flavorful and my mom loved the toast because they cut it up to make it easier to eat. The potatoes were crispy and my scrambled eggs with cheese were simple but flavorful. My waffles were ruined by the plastic maple syrup. I loved seeing everyone's dogs dining with them. Service was super friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back. I grabbed a free dog bone on the way out too. What a great spot.

Yelp
I have been here both for a casual lunch and for a catered event, and it is always a really good experience. They have a wonderful selection of beers and cocktails, and my favorite part is that they distill their own spirits with unique flavors. Rosemary vodka? Yes, please! The staff is always super friendly, and it is a fun, comfortable place to hang out.

Yelp
Best place to enjoy great food with your Dogs! Wide open area with plenty of seating, games, Misters, shade with fantastic menu. Just such a chill place to come to with or without your dog They have treats for your dogs at the front counter (the dried barley/hops or whatever from the beer making), our dogs love them, this was the first time we've seen the menu, not sure if it's new but it's great. The biscuits & gravy are so good. Everything I've had here is very good with plenty of flavor. Service is excellent everytime, today we had Christian as our server, his vibe is super positive & attentive. Get here soon.

Yelp
Sports bar with great food! Lots of beer on tap a well. I tried the OSHOs chopped salad with blackened shrimp. It was so yum, with a healthy crunch.. They have a arge outdoor area with games, tvs, and a bar. There are misters, so it's cool in the AZ summer,. Lots of parking as it's a shared lot. There is accessible parking and entrances.

Yelp
For quite a long time, I've been a fan of OHSO Brewery and visited a number of their locations. This one, however, is the one closest to me and that I have visited the most. They have indoor seating in a traditional bar area with seating. They also have outdoor seating with games and misters. There are plenty of TVs indoors and outdoors. The service has always been good, and the food has mostly been good. We also enjoy the dog biscuits on the way out and how the outdoor part of the restaurant is dog friendly. It turns out, my wife and I have a dog (though ironically, we haven't taken her to OHSO yet, but soon...). Their food items include burgers, salads, and more. They also have more than 30 beers on tapas well as cocktails and wine. My favorite items are the Classic American Burger (double stack 1/4 lb patties, American cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomato, pickle chips, mayo, and mustard aioli) or the BBQ Burger (double stack 1/4 lb patties, cheddar, bacon, crispy onion strings, and BBQ sauce). Both come with fries. I also enjoyed the Pastrami on Rye (peppered pastrami, sauerkraut, pickle, and pepper mix, Swiss, mustard aioli, and rye bread) also with fries. All three of these items are great!! You can order food online, reserve a group online, and read about upcoming events, which include weekly corn hole, Oktoberfest, and the Great Pumpkin Beer Day. Happy hours are weekdays from 3-6 PM and late night from 10 PM to 12 Midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. They are open Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 10 PM, Friday from 11 AM to 12 Midnight, Saturday from 9 AM to 12 Midnight, and Sunday from 9 AM to 10 PM. Visit the OHSO Brewery - PV website (https://www.ohsobrewery.com/paradise-valley) and make sure to sign up to become a VIP by entering your e-mail address and becoming the first to receive updates on exclusive events, secret menus, special offers/discounts, loyalty rewards & more. Yelp
Gorgeous patio, very fun vibes! It was crowded and pretty loud but to be expected on a Friday night. Food was yummy, I especially loved the green chile cheese sauce with the pretzels. Service was a bit slow but our server was nice. We will be back!

Yelp
This place has kind of a big-chain feel and I was ready to break out the hatorade. The beers were stellar though, so I was unable to. This place has cavernous, big-tent ambiance. There's a wide selection of beers from various different style families, and all were very well-made. I especially appreciated the ultra-crisp lagers, of which there were many. If I lived in the area, I would probably be a regular!

Yelp
Finishing off my last month without a review for December was December 2015. I moved to the DC area in 2011, and my parents continued living in Phoenix until 2021 when they moved, and I visited at Christmastime. My friend suggested OHSO as they are dog friendly and known for this. People bring their dogs in this open air place. Brr...an open air place in December; oh wait it's Phoenix, it was sunny & warm (or at least not that cold) that late December day. Service was nice. I think I got some sort of sandwich, which was good as I recall. We bumped into someone else from our high school, who lived in Manhattan, Harlem neighborhood of NY, but like me was back for the holidays. My friend remembered him better than I did, but I remembered we had English class together. Overall, I'd come back to OHSO if ever back in Phoenix.

Yelp
Girls this is a great location to meet someone for the first date. I arrived today for a first date with a man who immediately made me uncomfortable. I was less than 10 minutes in when I politely excused myself to go to the ladies room. Once I was in a separate part of the restaurant I grabbed the attention of the closest server. He was my knight in shining armor! I told him what was happening and that I needed to get to my car but the customer exit would have made me walk directly past the yucky guy I was fleeing from. So instead he blocked my dates field of vision with his body and then he led me out the back exit and escorted me safely to my car. No drama, no hysterics, just understanding the assignment. Thank you, OHSO!! I will always meet a first date here now!

Yelp
terrible food and service Michael Barons should be fired he spit in my food. I tried to talk to a manager and no one would speak to me. Michael then proceded to cuss me out and my mother in law. He followed me out of the restaurant and continued to cuss me out please take action on this. date of incident 11/24.

Yelp
Went for lunch around 11:45 on a Thursday and it was not busy which was awesome. We chose to eat outside and despite the wild heat the patio is full of misters and fans to keep it cool for humans and pooches. We ordered just water and soda for drinks and the TLC chicken strips and Salmon BLT. Food was hot and fresh upon arrival, and super tasty! The ranch with the tenders was PHENOMENAL, I should've asked for the recipe! It's one of my fave spots in PV and look forward to coming back again soon.

Yelp
The French toast is to diiiiie for! Very friendly service and I love that it's dog friendly! Chill vibes, you can wear whatever you want.

Yelp
OHSO Brewery is such a fun and welcoming spot, especially if you have a dog! We're not local to Phoenix, but we stopped by with our pup and were blown away by how dog-friendly it is. The patio was filled with other adorable dogs, and they even brought out a water bowl and a treat--such a nice touch! We tried their happy hour and loved it. The deals were great, and the food and drinks didn't disappoint. Since we weren't familiar with the menu or the place, our servers went out of their way to explain everything to us, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Driving from Phoenix to Sedona, we searched for brewery pitstops along the way and discovered Ohso- Very upbeat, busy vibe- the location was quite large-quite packed-and quite busy- We easily parked in the open lot, settled into a booth, and had very attentive service Having been to many Az breweries, I do think the flight prices ($2 3oz) create a more expensive flight compared to many other local establishments-but I enjoy trying variety, so I opted for a flight- the bartender was nice about allowing samples before committing- I selected a number of OHSO IPAs brews- and a few local guest IPA taps-all ranged from 3-5stars untapped- they had very unique flavor profiles, I would buy to go home- The concept of the brewery overall is great. I love the logo, and beers were very bold- would recommend-

Yelp
The food 10/10. The service 10/10 - we rarely tip and we tipped today. The people there were awesome as well and every sitting outside was nice with the misters. We had the carnitas wrap (my man loved it) the esalada de sol it's the last option on there with steak YUMMY and the fries ugh sucks we are from Cali bc we will be for sure coming back bc the drink menu was awesome
google avatar

Valerie I.

Yelp
Came here today (9/14) to get some lunch and watch the cardinals game. The game was turned on 10 minutes into the first quarter after asking 3 employees to turn it on and getting different answers from all of them. Kendall was our server and she was inattentive. We asked if we could order something off the regular menu (it was brunch when we got there) and she didn't ever let us know? When she came back 20 minutes later my fiancé asked if she checked on that and she stated "yeah we can't". She never came and asked if our app was good or If we needed anything. When the entrees came out, once again she was no where to be found. Service was not friendly or personable. Maybe she was having a bad day, but that shouldn't take away from my dining experience.

Yelp
Another great experience at PV OHSO! In between Sydney, Kate and Ben, we had excellent servers and beer! My wife and I each had the pastrami sandwich and it was delicious-seriously perfect. My wife and I started with the Jalapeño Mule, made with their homegrown distilled vodka. We'll be back. Oh. Yeah.

Justin S.

Yelp
It's very rare that I ever write a bad review, but this was truly one of the worst dining experiences I've had. We ordered over $200 worth of food and drinks, and I was served a deep-fried chicken sandwich that had black mold inside the chicken itself. Unfortunately, I had already eaten about a third of it before realizing something was very wrong. Because the breading was so thick, I originally thought the strange flavor was coming from the slaw, so I scraped that off. But after taking a closer look, I realized the chicken itself was black and covered in white spots. When I brought it to the staff's attention, the chef insisted it was just dried blood and told me this was "completely normal." That is absolutely not normal. Beyond the health risk, the way the situation was handled was unacceptable. Instead of showing genuine concern or taking accountability, it was brushed off as if nothing serious had happened. At the end of the night, I still paid the full tab (minus the one sandwich) and even left a tip for our waitress, but I left feeling sick and ended up throwing up later that night. For the price point and what should have been a nice night out, this experience was a complete disaster.
google avatar

Yelp
Didn't know they did BRUNCH on Saturday and Sunday! It was sooooo good. Had the brisket skillet and the OMG buffalo chicken and biscuit's and gravy! Out of this world. It was so good. You get a full meal, and a drink for $16! Mimosa or a 12 oz beer.
google avatar

Megan A.

Yelp
Can't believe it's taken me this long to review this location! OHSO-PV is always a great spot for delicious beers, a cool atmosphere, and friendly service. The food is tasty but I mainly hit OHSO for the variety of beer options. Hoppy and Campy are my two favorites. This location in particular has an amazing outdoor patio and is a fantastic spot to meet up with friends, have a date night, or bring out of town guests.
google avatar

Aaron P.

Yelp
Let me rename your burger for you. Call it "over cooked hockey puck nasty ass smashed frozen bun McDonald's is better" burger. Beer is fine. Fries decent. But you should be ashamed of the burger!
google avatar

Anjanette S.

Yelp
I like OHSO! We met friends for brunch. All the dogs are well behaved & it's family friendly. We all enjoyed our meals & those drinking appreciated the mimosas breakfasts. Try it out, especially for groups or a family get togethers.
google avatar

Yelp
Love OHSO PV, great place to bring your pets, good food options, great TVs for watching games.
google avatar

Maggie N.

Yelp
Stopped into the paradise valley location of OHSO on a Saturday afternoon. It was busy so we were sat inside as the outside was full. The fries were delicious and so were the drinks! I tried the oasis punch and the February spritz.
google avatar

Ashley K.

Yelp
Great place to drink and chill with your pups! I've eaten here quite a few times and I recommend only the beer brunch which include a beer or mimosa with your food. I loved the fruity pebbles French toast and the breakfast bowl. I've tried twice here for lunch and I was not impressed. The Mac and cheese was bland, the PBJ hamburger was really not a PBJ hamburger as expected and the Green chile burger was soggy. Artichoke dip is not what you'd expect either. It was pretty good but not good enough to order again personally. I do love the open air and that I can sit with my fur babies while we have a drink. If your dog has a sensitive stomach, I would not recommend feeding them the treats they have at the counter. Or if you aren't sure, only feed a little and see how they poop later. If your dog has an iron stomach, then go for it! Service was slightly slow each time but nothing that would make me unhappy. Overall good for brunch! But never for lunch.
google avatar

Jori S.

Yelp
I got the angry bird sandwich. I like the concept of apples on the sandwich, but it wasn't my favorite blend of flavors. I think it was because this was served on a Hawaiian bun so it was very sweet, and the buffalo chicken was pretty small. My biggest complaint was that the plate was very empty. I did not leave full, and I was pretty disappointed with the price for that amount of food. I did like the environment, and it was fun to stop over and play a round of bags and ping pong. Some of my friends got the tacos and they seemed really good! The waiters were also super helpful.
google avatar

Yelp
My friend and I went to OHSO Paradise Valley last week. I had been to the OHSO in Sunnyslope 3 or 4 times and enjoyed the pizza and salads there. Unfortunately the PV location has a different menu. No pizza. We ordered beers, after tasting a few, and not really finding ones we loved, but that was okay. The food was a different matter. My friend ordered fish and chips and they were okay. I prefer cod, and wasn't real hungry so I looked for something smaller to eat. I tried the Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer. It didn't look very appetizing and didn't have the sauce that was supposed to come with it, but I tried it and it wasn't very good. When the waitress asked how we liked our food I told her I didn't like it. She asked if I wanted something else, so I settled on the onion soup. It too didn't look appetizing but I ate some of it anyway. Big mistake. I got food poisoning and 2 days of digestive upset. Needless to say I will not visit that location again.
google avatar

Alyse F.

Yelp
You just can't go wrong with OSHO. The entire menu is beyond delicious and the vibes are always immaculate. Dogs allowed, huge patio, great employees. I could eat here every day and be a (fat but) happy girl.
google avatar

Bill T.

Yelp
It's always a fantastic experience! Had a phenomenal family brunch this AM! Enjoyed this location years ago, but now I'll be a regular!
google avatar

Elicia N.

Yelp
Popped in to get out of the Az heat and sips beverage while killing time. Bartenders are very kind. It's pretty slow on a Sunday afternoon but to be expected. Great outdoor patio for groups. I don't personally live there food options but what I have had here is just fine. I'd describe it as slightly elevated bar food. Portions are generous, great for sharing :) I love that I wasn't the only one reading at the bar! only
google avatar

Jacqui B.

Yelp
The menu has changed a couple of times in the last couple of years, some for the better and some for the worse. Unfortunately, I think the same goes for some of the servers. There used to be a more jovial energy about this location, but it's become a little bit of a downer. Of course, on a nice warm day, nothing beats a good large shaded outdoor patio space like offered here. I would tend to go less for the brunch these days and more for lunch mid-week when it's not so crowded. The turkey burger is usually my go to. If ordering a mimosa, ask for it with their fresh pressed ginger juice!

Morgan C.

Yelp
Love it! One of our favorite spots for Dinner out or drinks. Always appreciate the gluten free menu items

Yelp
Really cool place. Tons of different beers. Their Mac and Brisket is amazing. Really good atmosphere. Great fast service.

Mary T.

Yelp
Place has gone downhill and very poor service - from the hostess area to our server. Food was gross with literally 2 pieces of dried out pastrami on bread that wasn't even rye; 3 beers and tacos and bill almost $95 - music so loud everyone was yelling to be heard including servers; will never come back.

Yelp
Bring the R&D beer back ! ! ! It was SOO good! We would go back more often. :( :( ambiance is always top tier !

Yelp
My husband and I love this restaurant (even though there is more than one location, this particular location is our jam); we have been regulars for a few years now (most likely because it is a dog-friendly environment). It is the one place we can go out to dinner and have a lovely evening while not worrying about our babies being cooped up at home. Everywhere else we go, only one of us can go because our babies get too upset. However, at OHSO, this is no longer a problem!!!! Our babies can even play with other people's babies (granted, they are friendly, of course). Everything about their dog-friendly environment is fantastic. Now, onto the food.. The food menu is a mixed array of mostly American cuisine, with Mexican food items (quesadillas), Japanese items (sushi), and other items added. Everything my husband and I have tried has been FABULOUS. The bartender/waitress we always have is very sweet. She has bright blue hair and also sometimes blonde hair, and is super thin. She can't be more than 30-35 tops, and she is one of the BEST bartenders we have ever met (in regards to knowing recipes, speed of cocktail mixing, taste of end result, overall friendliness, ethics and morals, and so many more reasons). There is another bar inside, but we ate outside to hang out with this female bartender we like so incredibly much! Overall, this place is just FABULOUS. We love bringing our dogs here for happy hour brunch, staying all morning Sunday, and starting our day in a super fun, positive, dog-loving way. If you have not been here, it's time to change that! Grab your fur baby and get ready for a great time!!!

always a.

Yelp
I really hope the owners actually read this. I have been going to ohso regularly for over 12 years. I would say I go at least 30 times a year. Recently it seems they have changed the menu at this location. That's fine, but I ordered basically a hamburger and they have changed from serving a real hamburger, to basically serving a fast food hamburger. It used to be very tasty, and now it taste worse than McDonald's. You also removed my favorite salad. This is not good and I'm not sure I will come back because the food now tastes worse than fast food and you're charging expensive prices. Bad move. I would change it back immediately or you're just gonna lose your customers to zips

Yelp
This Chorizo Egg Skillet dish was O.H.S.O. good Served with a cheese sauce, roasted tomato salsa, and cotija cheese, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this brunch. I'm not a chorizo kinda girl, but needed a balanced meal post-10k run, and this satisfied my hunger completely. It wasn't too salty or mushy and complimented the various flavors mentioned above. The waitress recommended it and I'm happy I went with her suggestion. If you're starving after a workout and don't want to "carb up", then I highly recommend eating a chorizo egg dish to satisfy your hunger and genuinely fill you up O.H.S.O. Eatery & nano Brewery is a local restaurant/brewery with a dog-friendly patio serving drinks, burgers & other American bites. They're all about creating unique and approachable beer, so check them out if you're in the Phoenix area and looking for a great foodie spot with a nice selection of brews

Yelp
The bartenders are 100! But if you wait until 3pm on Sunday, Sid will treat you with white glove service We are so grateful we live so close to this location.

Yelp
Well, I've been there a few times before and as always the service has been really good and the food has been great. Unfortunately, this time was not one of those times where the service was good. We walked in and sat down right away, and our waitress. Michelle came over about a few minutes after we sat down and asked if we needed any drinks which we ordered drinks. so we received our drinks right away from Michelle and another waitress, Sydney came and took our food order. We received our fruit right away, which was great and we ordered the wonton, the chicken salad, and the cauliflower appetizer. We ate all of our dishes and finished our drinks and we did not see our waitress for at least 20 minutes and the happy hour ended before we saw her again. One of our party got the hostess to get somebody to come to our table and a guy who was bartending came to get our drink order. He didn't seem enthusiastic about taking our order at all. Michele our waitress brought the drinks back and we wanted to order food from her and she told us I need to get my computer and come right back. Michele didn't come back instead Sydney came back to take our order which she wrote down our order. Very disappointed at the service today. The two dishes buffalo chicken sandwich was disappointing as well. Not much sauce on it and there was hardly any chicken in the sandwich. Looks like they cut a chicken thigh in half , it was really small. The chicken and waffles were a little dry on one probably a little over cooked and the other one was cooked good. At least they tried to make up for the service by taking off a couple drinks. Kudos for that.

Yelp
I forgot how good the food is here! I knew the beer would still be great, they have mastered consistency. It's been awhile since I have eaten here though. Sure I just got the kids menu Mac for my daughter and sweet potato fries for myself but it was delicious. The service was great as usual. And as remembered just super chill on the patio with the best music 90's alternative/punk.

Yelp
The Brisket Mac and a pitcher of 89 Ale is my go-to combo and you can't go wrong with the Apple Pie (sourced from Pie Snob). The staff is a great group that always takes great care of us. My wife is considering a petition to bring back the Gobbler (her favorite). If you're a dog person I'm not sure there's a more dog friendly restaurant in town.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite brewery/restaurant chains and this location lived up to my expectations. Great friendly staff. It was a weeknight so not too busy but still lots of people. But we were seated and greeted right away. I love the food at OHSO in general, but we had the pretzel and dips and brisket Mac and both were delicious. I especially love the peanut butter bacon jam that come with the pretzel. So flavorful and the pretzel melts in your mouth. The brisket Mac was decadent and a wonderful blend of flavors. I was happy to have some leftover for tomorrow's lunch! The beer selection is always on point and I really love how many other AZ breweries are represented on their menu. I have been to most of the OHSO locations and love them all. This place is always high on my go-to list.

Yelp
We came here for lunch one day as we were looking for a place we could bring our pugs. This place is perfect for dogs, they give each dog a bowl of water and write their names on it. The outside is covered with turf for the dogs and they have misters going for the heat. We sat at a long bench like table and the puggies were comfortable. We started with the pretzel board that came with mustard, a chocolate peanut butter like sauce (I was not a huge fan), and queso. The queso was delicious and white, which I prefer over beer cheese. The pretzel was HUGE! It also came with corn nuts and pickles. Odd spread but the pretzel was amazing!! For lunch I had the shrimp tacos and my friend had the carne asada tacos. I was mad that they could not half and half the meat because both options are the same price and they literally put the meat separate from the tortilla. You build your own taco and they can't mix the meat...that was the only thing that upset me. I did like that the tacos were build your own and it came with three warm and wrapped tortillas. The salsa was also the perfect favorite with a slight spice. They came with guac and sour cream and my meat was mixed with lettuce. I would have liked a pico de Gallo or something similar. My husband had the burger with bacon, cheese, and other things. I forgot the name of it but it was delicious. The fries were also perfectly salted and crispy. Would definitely come again but think they should allow more substitutions and things for customers!!

Yelp
Whether you eat outside or inside the Staff is well versed on menu items and their beers produced in their brewery to provide helpful recommendations. We ate at OHSO twice during our time in the Valley and the food was delicious and the beers were flavorful and refreshing. Family friendly and if you want to bring your four legged canine friends, sit outside and enjoy yourselves.

Yelp
This was my first visit and my wife's second. The other location is larger with a more upbeat vibe according to my bride. With that said I enjoyed the indoor/outdoor bar setting. Our bartender was super, very knowledgeable and helpful when ordering. We had the Patty Melt that was loaded with flavor and shared the pretzel which we would normally not get but so glad we did. The pretzel and dipping sauces were awesome and loaded with unique flavor! We both had a New England IPA which was very flavorful and not too hoppy which is a requirement for my wife. We'd come back the next time we're in town.
