Best Brunch Restaurants in Phoenix, Arizona | Eater Phoenix

"This casual canal-side spot is typically enjoyed as an afternoon hangout, but its Saturday and Sunday brunch stands on its own. If there is one thing O.H.S.O. knows how to do well, it’s incorporating beer into any meal of the day. O.H.S.O.’s food is already better than most breweries, but it’s a definite draw that all brunch entrees include a 12-ounce beer or a “monster” mimosa. Where else in the valley could one theoretically pair a morning beer with Fruity Pebbles French toast?" - McConnell Quinn

Great IPA from a local brewery in Gilbert. Chips and Guac were meh, Chips were chewy and guacamole was chunky to the extreme, pieces of avocado bigger than the Chips. Update: tried the Angry Bird Chicken Sandwich, was 3 Chicken tenders with bleu cheese and some weird pickled vegetables, didn't look appealing. Fries were not fresh and not good. Beer was great!

I had a quick layover in Phoenix and was looking for something I could take to eat on the flight home. I ordered a cob salad to go. I did not have a beer. The salad was ok. Nothing memorable however, the plastic fork and knife that was included was memorable, not in a good way. Way too small and too flimsy. I feel like it was a little pricey for a salad but everything seems pricey right now. If you are hungry and want a salad this will work.

Get yourself a cheap pint and a great sandwich. Campy was a perfect spring to summer transition beer. I had the buffalo chicken finger sandwich and it was fantastic. Can’t wait to have another longer layover so I can grab their Monte cristo. Little tip- food did seem to take right at 15 minutes but the price and quality was definitely worth the wait if you have it Pints took 30 seconds, so swing through if your layover is short and the line is too

Pretty good for airport food. We got two orders of Chicken & Waffles and a small coffee for over $40, which is pretty ridiculous, but we’re a captive audience, so what can you do? 🤷🏼‍♂️ The waffles were okay. The chicken strips were okay. The spicy syrup was good. But the bacon was the star of the show! Cooked just right and with a little of the spicy syrup on them!? Money!

We’ve ordered: - chicken & waffles ($18,80): sooooo tasty, recommend it😍 - BBQ Burger w/ french fries ($ 17,60): it was ok.

This was probably the saddest airport sandwich I've ever eaten. I got the pilgrim, which had the potential to be good (turkey, bacon, cheese, cranberry aioli on the side). If wanted a cold sandwich, i would have picked up something from the grab and go places for cheaper, i really think this should have been toasted. The redeeming aspects were the fries and muffin, which were decent.

OHSO has a pretty good reputation for having amazing, crisp beer. I was very disappointed. The beer was incredibly flat. But the main reason why my rating is two stars, is the person at the register. She was snippy, rude and not very friendly. I understand this location is in the terminal and always busy, but no reason to be rude and rushing people who are ordering, especially when there’s no one waiting. I won’t come back here, whatsoever.

This place deserves less than one star. Very slow service. The African American lady at counter has an attitude and needs training in customer care. Gets annoyed easily , rude and blames customer even though it is her fault. Bean burger tastes very mediocre and was expensive for $20. Lost appetite after dealing with the lady and threw most of food away. What a waste!!! When at Phoenix airport avoid this place, please.
