Where To Grab Lunch In The City - London - The Infatuation
"It’s only 11am and you’ve already fallen asleep at your desk. Twice. The tom yum soup at Oie Thai is a dead cert to wake you up, and at £6, it’s also the kind of thing you can look forward to eating regularly. This Thai cafe is easily identified by the massive queue that blocks Liverpool Street arcade each day at lunchtime, but don’t be put off, as it moves quickly and their staff will take your order in the queue to save you a few minutes." - Oliver Feldman, Jake Oliver, David Paw
Read the reviews and I am surprised how people find the food “amazing” or “best they ever tried”. Food is average at best. How can you screw up Pad Thai so bad? Buying ready made from supermarket would taste better than this. Noodle is overcooked, firm and crispy. Sprouts aren’t even fresh. Honestly, I would rather not eat it at all and skip lunch altogether. Fix this bad quality please.

Great curries and very filling salads. All of the dishes taste incredibly good and it's a bonus knowing that it's much healthier than your usual lunchtime fare. Just a shame I don't work central anymore - waiting with baited breath for them to start delivering online.
p.s. the carrots in the curries are so soft and tender you would think they had been farmed directly from the allotment in the skies

Really nice authentic Thai food at a reasonable price. Located in the little arcade as you are going to Liverpool Street station. The Thai girls that work here are really lovely, i try and speak the little Thai i know and they are very accommodating in having a chat whilst i practicing. The noodle soup i had was really good. Tried OIE Thai for the first time in October 2016 and eat it at least 3 times a week. Healthy, flavoursome salads and curries ranging in spice. What more could you want. Highly recommend you wont be disappointed.

A westernized version of Thai food, I mean genuine Thai food with the taste we like locally, and that's really good, their chicken noodle soup, "pho" is awesome and very healthy.
The service is kind and efficient.

Healthy, delicious and good value - much more interesting than your average lunch option! The salads are huge, recommend the spicy minced pork.
