L’OIGNON was a memory waiting to happen.
We peeked in on our first trip to Seoul—soft lighting, chefs engaged in deliberate preparation. The kids were amazed and wanted to try it out. We couldn’t. No table, no timing. Just a small regret we carried forward.
So this time, we returned with intention.
No meat. No excess. Just patience, balance, and food that speaks in subtleties. Each plate felt well thought out, almost gentle—asking you to slow down, to notice.
It wasn’t loud or dramatic.
It didn’t need to be.
Some meals stay with you not because they impress, but because they arrive exactly when they’re meant to.
