"This casual North Miami spot has a big menu, and even though it’s got “Thai” in its name, sushi - and really anything with raw fish - is what you want to eat here. Start with the white fish truffle, served in little spoons of lychee, yuzu, truffle oil, and white fish that you get to slurp like an oyster. Then take your pick of any of the hand rolls, which pretty much all taste as good as they sound." - Ryan Pfeffer

Just amazing! My husband introduced me to this spot. We are both not a big fan of sushi but this spot is unforgettable and will change your mind in a heartbeat. Chef B really hooked it up. We ordered all of the “kosher” fish rolls - the staff already knew what we meant by this was which was so cool ! The sushi is so flavorful , carefully made, and overall was a great first experience. Will definitely be back for more !

Google
I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could closer to 4, Yuzi Excellent server, very attentive and helpful. Food is good, tapas style appetizers a little expensive but comes with a good amount for one person. I ordered the new salmon style Sashimi , white fish truffle , crispy bok choi , shrimp shumai and salmon tacos. Best of the best salmon tacos Delicious . Fish truffle was interesting nice flavor fresh . Crispy bok choi I had to return a little on the dry side I had better. Salmon sashimi interesting tastes like steak flavor but good. Shrimp shumai was good. 4* for the service and atmosphere tranquil and friendly. Food I would give 3* good but had better options around.

Google
This has been our go to spot for years (Biscayne Blvd location), it's sad to see that they are no longer there. No sign, no message on the answering service. It's a shame that we loyal customers that truly appreciated their cuisine and superb service, didn't have a chance to say "farewell" or have outr last taste of the pad Thai (which was my favorite)! I wish them well, wherever they've moved to... I hear that it's now in Doral. Enjoy!

Google
A gem of a restaurant, highly recommend Oishi Thai for date night, celebrations and even big parties. The freshness of the food, the taste and quality are top notch. Chef Bee has become an institution as far as Miami dining is concern. Red curry duck is a must and lychee martinis.

Google
Good Asian restaurant. Staff is super nice. Love their miso black cod and rock shrimp tempura. Lichee tiny Cocktail is amazing. Big portions for reasonable prices. Good variety of drinks and cocktails. Deserts are also nice. Recommended.

Google
The pictures talk for themselves. If you like Asian, this is a must, another great stripmall restaurant, great find, true gem! Menu is average, although it can be a bit pricey, you have to ask for the off menu items to truly experience this restaurant, chef bee owned.

Google
Thai food near my house! “How exciting “ is what I thought . I ordered a Pad Kee Mao to go . I asked the person taking the order if I was ordering drunken noodles to be sure. They said yes . I was given the dish pictured. Chicken was hard to even chew . No flavor and extremely dry. The noodles were rubbery and dry .I’m not sure what this even is . Just a complete disappointment . I do not recommend anyone order from this place. Unless you want a pile of flavorless disappointment. Definitely not legit Thai food .

Google
Great service - my food came out fast and everyone was very friendly. I loved the sushi - I got a hand roll and uni. Next time I’ll try the Thai

Nikki G.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place out after hearing great things from a Miami food blogger - the service alone made me not want to come back. We waited 15 minutes from the time we were seated to have someone notice us to ask us for drinks. We then waited another 40 minutes for our food. I understand having a busy place, but at least come to the table periodically to let us know what's going on. The food is good, but not worth the one hour wait.

Yelp
Supposed to be a Thai restaurant and sushi bar. As far as thai specialties it is terrible. The soup with coconut milk was watery. The clear noodles with chicken was terrible, the chicken was boiled instead of stirred fried. I noticed everyone was ordering Japanese specialties. Different rolls. They looked good. Don't order thai food as it is not well prepared. No ambiance. Service ok. No coming back again!!!

Kevin B.

Yelp
We loved the masaman curry here Service was great . Gratuity Is included. We sat outside it's a nice location with people walking by .

Yelp
So glad I gave this restaurant a try.. my new favorite Thai restaurant... it's a bit far from my house, but I don't mind traveling for good food.. First let's discuss customer service, it was excellent. Host was polite and kind. My order was put in fast and my food came out in no time. She offered suggestions for the Bokchoi, which was bomb. I ordered a Shrimp Pad Thai.. this was the best pad Thai I've ever had.. . I took the food to-go, so I didn't experience eating at the restaurant. Overall, great experience.

Mikaela S.

Yelp
Took my family here for Mother's Day, and it was a great experience. The ambiance, food, service, and overall atmosphere was amazing! We will definitely be regulars at Oishi Thai.

Eric S.

Yelp
Chef B really hooked it up. We ordered all of the "kosher" fish rolls - the staff already knew what we meant by this was which was so cool ! The sushi is so flavorful , carefully made, and overall was a great first experience. Will definitely be back for more !

Yelp
One of my go to's near Aventura. They were very accommodating to our 10 month old Cavapoo. Brought us a water bowl. Tom Yum shrimp soup extra spicy was so tasty. Crispy rice spicy tuna was one of my favorites I've ever had. Yellowtail jalapeño was excellent. The black miso cod for appetizer was delicious. The truffle crab roll on the specials menu was great. My favorite dish there is the Shrimp Red Curry. Absolutely love it. I will be back very soon. Service was extremely friendly and informative and did a great job.

Nir R.

Yelp
This place is mediocre. The food is slightly pricier than similar places but doesn't justify it. The red curry duck tasted freezer burned. It was simply not fresh tasting at all. The satai was well over cooked. The chicken in the Rahmen was over cooked as well and very dry. It was disappointing. The service is fantastic. The wait staff is absolutely great and the attitude is wonderful. I just wished the food matched. I will not be back here though.

Yelp
Expensive. We order sushi pieces and the salmon was $6 per piece I vrowes around sushi places near be and they were at $3. Also when the check came 20% tips was included which since we were 6 but when I calculated it something was off. It was calculated after tax.... That's crazy I complaint and they fixed it. Was it a simple mistake, hard to say but now days that's automatic so you be the judge and keep and eye out for the receipt before paying. (Update) I had a friend go they did the same to his bill so this is definetly on purpose. See picture of the bill attached.

Yelp
We have visited many of the Thai and Sushi restaurants in North Miami, Aventura and Hallandale. Oishi Thai is our clear favorite. They are located in a small strip mall along Biscayne Blvd and owned by a charming husband and wife team. The restaurant offers both outdoor and indoor seating. Oishi Thai is tastefully decorated, clean and staffed with pleasant, knowledgeable Servers. The Owners oversee the kitchen and sushi bar with great skill. Every item we have ordered, from the Lettuce cups with seasoned Tuna to the their Pad-Thai has been delicious. Our favorite dish is their Miso Black Cod...the best version of this traditional Japanese dish we have ever tasted. If you are looking for delicious Thai and Japanese food, served at a comfortable location and delivered at reasonable prices...CHECK OUT OSHI THAI.

Yelp
So when you wake up with last nights meal still on your mind, that's how you know it was the bomb.com They were extremely busy out of nowhere on a Tuesday night so service was a little hectic BUT the food and our server definitely made up for it. I ordered a big variety of sushi and each and every piece was absolutely delicious and fresh tasting! The Ikura and fatty tuna was my favorite. The tuna taki with ponzu for an appetizer is definitely a must as well. They even brought out cute little fried donuts on the house, that was extremely nice of them. I'd definitely return!

Alon K.

Yelp
Best curry around. The massaman, panang, and green curry are the ones I've tried and have been blown away every time. Please give it a try you won't regret it!! Gorgeous spot with great dishes and great service.

Yelp
We've been passing by Oishi Thai for years now, but the other day we noticed their large patio area with outdoor seating and looked them up on Yelp to find out more details. And overall we were impressed with what we saw with menu offerings and photos! We decided to dine at Oishi Thai on a Saturday evening. They are located in the Publix shopping center in North Miami (across from Total Wine) and have plenty of free parking in front of the location. We wanted to dine outside and were seated immediately. The tables were spaced out, but not sure if it was exactly 6 feet apart or not (it was close - so we opted for a table at the end of the restaurant). All servers were wearing masks (no gloves), and sanitized each table prior to customers being seated. We had a very nice female server that greeted us a few minutes after being seated and took our drink order. We opted for beers to start (each bottled beer was $5 - with both domestic and international options). We probably would have ordered wine, but the wine was extremely overpriced (starting prices for bottles of red or white wines started at $40). We dine out a lot, and these wine prices really had us stretching our eyes. For food, my partner and I both ordered a house salad with ginger dressing to start ($4 each). The portion size was large and the salad was fresh and was delivered quickly. For entrees, I ordered the Oishi Sauce (Cashew Nut) with chicken - $15.95. My partner ordered the Pad See-Ew with chicken - $15.95. Both dishes were very flavorful, however, it took the kitchen an extremely long amount of time to prepare the order (I would say probably 30 minutes or longer). The server came out and apologized for it taking so long and said the kitchen was extremely backed up. Also, the entree portions were small for the price we paid. However, we thought the flavors of both dishes were very good.. but we both left feeling like we could have eaten more. Service was really good and warm, but I don't know if we will be back due to the food portions being smaller than what we expected. Most other Thai restaurants in Miami provide bigger portions for this price range - and also have bigger wine selections at varying price points.

Yelp
Very nice atmosphere and friendly host/servers The food is mixed Japanese and Thai cuisine. I had Thai fried rice vegetables and Soft Shell Sushi Rolls, also pad see ew noodles. Food was good a solid 3 and 1/2 star's Parking is decent for this area also free lot Thai Sticky Rice is very good

Lauren L.

Yelp
Although this restaurant was good, there are two main reasons I was disappointed: 1. All of the delicious nigiri that is on their Instagram isn't on the menu, it must be a la carte and by the looks of their prices (which were expensive), each of those elaborate pieces were probably AT LEAST $30 per piece. 2. The atmosphere of the restaurant wasn't great. I thought what we ordered was good. Again, the nigiri pieces are probably the most expensive I've seen in Miami including Brickell and wynwood. $12 for one piece uni nigiri lol.... Just not what you expect when you drive 25-30 minutes north of Brickell. Probably will not go out of my way to go back.

Yelp
Consistency in food and service over the past 10 years+. I take out at least once a week and the staff & food are always great.

Sally F.

Yelp
Manager was awfully rude and made lots of mistakes to my take out order and didn't even apologize.

Stephanie O.

Yelp
Oishi Thai is one of our favorites! Everything is delicious here-the sushi, the cooked food and the service is great also. Tried the crispy bok choy tonight for the first time and it did not disappoint! And the pad thai is always one of our favorites! #sosaysyes #sosays

Courtney K.

Yelp
10/10 I recommend I ordered the red curry shrimp, medium spicy. The dish was so flavorful and had the perfect amount of heat. I recommend ordering a side of chopped peanuts and pouring them in the dish- so so so good. Friendly staff who was so sweet. I will be adding to my favorites list and definitely order more often.

Yelp
So after leaving my barber, R and I were both hungry. As you can see from a lot of our reviews, she's partial to Asian food. Since my barber is right off 826 we took it straight east to NMB / Aventura and found Oishi tucked away off Biscayne Boulevard. When we got in, we were the only people there which at first made me hesitant. However, the dimly lit romantic ambiance & flavorful food made us glad we stayed. As it were, the outside dining area was packed and there were more fellow gourmands dining inside. There's a sushi bar for those who partake, and a mix of contemporary and classic Asian art. The music is low key jazzy, perfect for a date. As with all types of food, I'm an OCD foodie so I went for my usual (well mostly). The steamed pork gyoza was delicious whether the meat, the al-dente dumpling or sweetly vinegar dipping sauce. My main of teriyaki chicken was firstly a very generous portion and a perfect blend of sweet and hot spice. Same thing with the vegetables blended in, great texture and flavor. The rice was a little dry for my taste but that's just a minor booboo. I stuck to caffeine, and their ginger tea hit the spot. It's served in a traditional teapot which our waiter kept promptly filled with hot water. Instead of my usual tempura ice cream or Thai donuts, Bae convinced me to try their healthier - and still tasty - lychee nut dessert. This was a serving of fresh fruit served over ice. Yes, I can enjoy something sweet and still be healthy.

Yelp
Totally unique dining experience! The staff are always very welcoming. Been dining at Oishi Thai for many years, always a treat!

Lucia P.

Yelp
I was in the North Miami area so I made it back to Oishi Thai and it was once again a great experience. Staff was super kind and helpful. We sat outside to enjoy the nice weather. We ordered two veggie spring roll appetizers which were amazing. The Thai iced tea was great. First time ordering it at Oishi. We also ordered veggie pad Thai and added red peppers. The pad Thai was really good and a great portion. I'll definitely be coming back whenever I'm in the area!

J B.

Yelp
Nobly for normal people. Just delicious and sensory extravaganza You won't be disappointed

Kayce D.

Yelp
What a great surprise! My friend bought me to this sushi place. This miso cod is as good as Nobu, it melts in your mouth. The creative dishes such as the dragon salmon are so refreshing. This place is a hidden gem. Great food, great service. Shrimp shumi was tasty not too doughy. Cooked perfect. The halmachi jalapeño and white truffle and lychee app was so different and good. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Raniza V.

Yelp
I went yesterday to Oishi Thai with my Mom. I ordered chicken soup and shrimp soup, but the chicken soup had an unpleasant smell, not fresh, the smell of old mushrooms and I didn't eat the soup. Also, I ordered tofu and vegetables medium spicy, but it was super spicy and the lady server replied to me next time order different and less spicy, she was rude instead of bringing the less spicy dish. She was also on the front desk. In the end, I paid for super spicy tofu vegetables that I didn't eat and soup that I didn't eat. I was extremely disappointed. The service lady was mean. I'm not going there again. The evening was ruined.

Phil L.

Yelp
Planned to go to the burger joint next door on the way home from the Formula One race. Apparently we weren't the only ones. Place was packed and no available tables. Took a chance on the Thai restaurant next door. Glad we did. Food was delicious and we will be back!

Natasha C.

Yelp
Always great food and service. Yesterday had some sushi and the whole fish. Excellent preparation and taste. They served the fish in such a way as to make it easy to eat with no bones even though it was a whole fish. Very fresh. Love the service. Always pleasant and attentive. Will be back.

Yelp
This is my family's favorite restaurant and where we celebrate birthdays and go the first night home from college per my daughter's request. The food is absolutely the freshest and tastiest anywhere. The service here is impeccable and after going the first few times everyone remembered us and our favorite dishes. I have never written a review before and should have, but last night something occurred I believe would not happen in many, if any, places. We asked for a table where it would be more quiet as my daughter had suffered a concussion and was very sensitive to noise. We were seated promptly. The next thing I knew the owner came over and asked if the noise level was better. He said he had turned the music down to make my daughter more comfortable! I never asked. But this just exemplifies the attention to detail and courtesy of this establishment. And the food is truly the best. We don't live close and go as often as possible.

Liz A.

Yelp
Don't skip this place! The location is a bit strange since it's in a shopping plaza but their outdoor and indoor decor makes you forget that quickly. We sat outside and it was absolutely beautiful with the sunset. We started with the cracked wings which were crunchy, a bit spicy, and a bit sweet - perfect balance. I did the House Salad and Daimyo Maki roll. The salad was fresh, good size, and a good amount of dressing. I ordered the roll without masago and with a side of spicy mayo and they had no problem with my request at no additional charge. My partner ordered the Pad See-Ew with tofu which they really enjoyed but said there could have been a little more flavor. When the servers brought our food out, they also gave us complimentary crunchy bok choy - not sure why but no complaints here! The bottom pieces were very oily but the rest of the dish was crunchy and flavorful. There are lots of options on the menu from sushi, thai noodles dishes, and japanese dishes! They have a decent wine menu and extensive sake selection. The servers were quick, nice, and accommodating. Definitely give Oishi a try!

S V.

Yelp
I usually steer away from Thai Sushi place, but the spot was amazing. We came mainly for Thai food but ended up ordering bunch of sushi. It was an early Saturday dinner and service was on top! Eventually, they got busier but we were not forgotten. Food came out in timely manner. I loved that they spaced out the time between each course/dishes. We ordered chef special Salmon belly, Ikura, Uni, and Otoro. We were pleased with the quality of the food. The price kind of threw me off a bit though. It was almost like dining in a fancy sushi place. You certainly get what you paid for just not in the right ambience. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner. Service was excellent. Presentation was on point. Food was delicious. Happy tummy.

Carolina A.

Yelp
Everything was so amazing! Staff was very attentive. Place was impeccably clean. The food was so delicious, definitely worth the 30 min drive!!!!

Leonard R.

Yelp
I was there on Christmas 2022 and it was as cold indoors as it was outdoors and the food while edible was mediocre, given how cold I was it was unpleasant experience

Derick D.

Yelp
Oishi is a true hidden gem when it comes to sushi. They're branding themselves as more of a Thai place, but their sushi deserves a ton of recognition. They have a few off the menu items that truly showcases their quality. The Oishi Toro Sushi - Toro sushi topped with uni, caviar, truffle and gold flakes. Tajima beef topped with a quail egg. Both were exceptional bites. All the sushi was incredibly fresh. The Twin Dragon Roll was incredible. One of the most unique and flavorful rolls I have ever consumed. It consisted of broiled lobster sauteed with spinach and shitake mushroom, topped with seared tajima beef and toro, served with spicy miso sauce, spicy butter truffle sauce, and topped with crispy onion. It was also sprinkled with sugar. I love the fact they broiled the lobster and didn't fry it. I also loved the light breading on the red onion and the topping of sugar. I've never seen anything like it, but the flavor truly impressed. Highly recommend for sushi.

Roxana A.

Yelp
Date Night!!! I went in thinking, it wasn't going to be the very BEST. I was wrong. The waiter was very attentive, with recommendations of all kinds. The food was fabulous. It's the perfect spot for date night. Very romantic feel, and quite cozy too. It has very modern Asian feel to it as well, with Buddha's, elephants, and plants. BEST PLACE FOR DATES/GROUPS

Rachel S.

Yelp
Anyone who knows me knows that if you ask my favorite restaurant I will automatically say Naiyara. Imagine my surprise when I was looking for Thai food one day while I happened to be in North Miami Beach and randomly stumble upon Oishi, and find they are from the same family. As soon as we sat down in the cute little outdoor courtyard area I perused the menu and saw a couple of my favorites. Green curry? SIGN ME UP. I also ordered a Tom Kha soup. Both were exactly as I expected, delicious. I thought the lunch specials were reasonable, and would gladly come back here again. In fact, I cannot wait to come back here again! Service was great as well.

Say I.

Yelp
This hidden gem is a must try for those who love quality sushi and omakase style. I have been to many well known sushi places including NAOE, Azabu, MYUMI, Blue ribbon, Yakko-San , makoto etc. and I can say with confidence that the sushi presented here is competitive to those listed above. The fish is absolutely one of the freshest around and Chef Danny demonstrates his unique style to give it a sushi flare like the "steak and egg" sushi that melts in your mouth and the salmon belly adorned with truffle caviar and uni among many others. The Omakase comes in max 15 pieces which is very filling. This place is a MUST TRY for sushi connoisseurs!

Monica F.

Yelp
I've been eyeing this place for a while and finally made my way there. The chef, Danny is great! All the pieces were delicious. The salmon tacos were a great addition to the appetizers! I would recommend to anyone.

Lana T.

Yelp
My favorite sushi restaurant in Miami. Venue (4/5) the location is not ideal for tourists, however if you are a true sushi snob like myself get a rental car and check out this place. Located in north Miami this place is a hidden gem. Food (5/5) I trust Chef Danny which is a talented and passionate sushi chef. He has an Instagram handle where you can look for yourself: chefdanny_cookingbyheart I order an omakase but tell him what you like and he will figure it out. I really enjoy inventive yet fresh good sushi. He is GOOD! Their sister restaurant is in Miami Beach Naiyara (trendy and good as well). Definitely check this place out.

Jay L.

Yelp
From the outside, Oishi Thai may look like another typical 4-star restaurant, but this is far from the truth. The head chef Danny has so much talent, it is equivalent to Michelin-star grade. Their menu is filled with delicious and traditional Japanese and Thai dishes but you can also order omakase as well as request off-menu sashimi and nigiri platters. The pictures speak for themselves; this is high-quality, traditional, yet elevated and unique sushi if you choose to go omakase or off-menu. I highly recommend it. I've been to Michelin-starred restaurants in NYC and this can easily compete. It is also a family-owned restaurant which brings a relaxed and cozy vibe. It is the kind of restaurant that allows you to get to know the staff and their passion for food. It is not overly extravagant which allows the food to shine. This really is a hidden gem.

Carla S.

Yelp
I loved this place!!! With a Thai look when you get in, from the decor to the super nice hostess and waitresses. It's a nice restaurant to eat fresh fish and sushi. They also have warm Thai food but I wouldn't say it's their specialty. Stick to the sushi omg they have great tuna toro plates. With started with a wonton soup, that was not the best wonton soup I've had but it was still a good wonton soup. And then we ordered two sushi plates that I can't remember by name but that I'm posting the pictures below and like a toro sashimi that came with a type of mushroom, some leafs and a buttery sauce that I can't even begin to explain how yummy it was. It was a recommendation from the waitress and I went with it and I was so glad I did

Elizaveta C.

Yelp
Very disappointed with the food. I ordered a take out, when I first walked in the place was completely empty. NO. ONE. On a Friday night. Red flag. but anyways, I still got my order. When I got home.. the disappointment. Save your money and time. The tartare was a joke.. super micro tiny portion. Taste wise, it was just ok. Brown rice was undercooked and hard to chew. Avocado? it was barely any avocado in the roll that I ordered. The rainbow roll was probably the worst that I have ever had. I doubt this place will stay in business for another 3 months max. Also, OVERPRICED for poor quality food. You charge/pay for what you get, I don't mind paying for good quality food. but this was a joke. I just hope I don't feel sick at this point.

Cylvia D.

Yelp
The restaurant was moderately busy for a Sunday evening and unfortunately we were never greeted by a server. We patiently waited for almost 15 minutes until deciding to leave.

Daisy D.

Yelp
My friend likes this place so we went there on Christmas Eve. The service was good and it is a nice place to sit down and talk with friends. We ordered some sushi, red curry and Ramen. The sushi was not bad but the red curry was way too salty. We have to mix a lot of rice with very little curry sauce to eat. Also, the ramen was a total failure. This is the first time I couldn't finish my food and don't even bother to take it to go. There are so many good Japanese restaurants in this city and I don't think we will go back here again.

Angelo R.

Yelp
It's been 4 long years since my first review of this place and still, this Thai restaurant deserves recognition for being consistent. This is my quick goto spot for Thai lunch because it's close to my house. It' been in the same plaza for over a decade now. Surely, they are doing something right to thrive this long. My last visit was about 3 weeks ago. The lunch special offerings were the same so we got the usual Chicken Pad Thai ($10.95) and J6 sushi & tempura special ($15.95). It came with complimentary egg roll and miso soup or salad. As always, the tempura was piping hot with perfectly fried batter. The sushi and sashimi were also fresh. Just wish the quantity was more but would rather have consistent quality anyway :) Service was also fast and always very polite. Will remain a loyal customer!

Alan A.

Yelp
Ive been going to oishi thai for several years, now it has the worst service, maybe in all of florida( including everything) As you can see in the photos, everyone is walking like a zombie, nobody is taking orders, a table had to stand up, go to the counter to order after waiting 40 minutes to order. The owner (in white shirt and shorts) just stands there doing nothing but look at his phone. He only approaches single women in the restaurant, and thats disgusting. Nobody talked to me since i walked in the restaurant, waited for anyone to even talk to me for like 25 minutes, i was feeling ignored.

Sharon W.

Yelp
We came here last night after our fourth failed attempt to dine at Ricky Thai. Larry S. had a craving for Thai that could not be ignored, so thanks to my trusty Yelp app, we were directed to Oishi just a few blocks away. Although it's in a strip mall, the interior is lovely and upscale. Due to the pleasant winter weather, we opted to dine outside, but on a return visit, I would probably eat inside. The lighting outside is VERY bright! We had the spring rolls (crisply fried and not at all greasy), the shrimp salad (six jumbo shrimp on lettuce dressed in a tangy, piquant sauce) and the chicken cashew sauce. All of the food was excellent! Very fresh and attractively plated. We opted for the cashew sauce because I do not eat chicken and it seemed like it had a lot of vegetables for me to eat - indeed, that was the case! Plenty of onions, peppers, carrots, celery and mushrooms, enrobed (HA! I hate that word!) in a slightly spicy sauce and garnished with cashews. Service was excellent, although a tad on the slow side. We were also seated next to a VERY loud family, which detracted a bit from the experience, although it was not the restaurant's fault. I thought the prices were high - more like what you would pay in South Beach and not in a suburban strip mall - so I would likely return for lunch. Then again, if you read my reviews, you know I am a value diner, so take that comment with a teaspoon of curry!

Emily S.

Yelp
For the first time, I sort of conflicted with my review. I gave this place three stars, but I feel like it could be bumped up to a four, but I'll explain why. I went here for lunch the other day with my Mom when we were craving Asian cuisine. We looked up the menu online, and saw so many delicious things and decided this is where we'd try. When we got there, we got a one-page menu with around 15 options to chose from. I had seen they offered Ramen on their proper menu, but for lunch, they don't even offer it. It was definitely disappointing, I'm not going to lie. I ended up getting the California roll with miso soup and chef's choice for other sushi. My Mom got the Teriyaki Chicken with tempura shrimp and veg. First of all, the miso soup was definitely delicious! I really enjoyed it. My Mom got a ginger salad which she said was quite tasty. The wait time wasn't too bad, I'd say it took maybe 20 minutes. Then our food came out. I was very impressed with the selection of sushi I got. All of them were fresh and very delicious. My Mom's chicken teriyaki wasn't as good though. The chicken was a little rubbery and had a weird after flavor. She enjoyed the shrimp tempura and a few of the tempura vegetables but that was it. The lunch time items are fairly pricey, and that's why I'm not completely on board with giving them a four star or even higher rating. I wish they would offer more items for lunch, as I saw a lot of curries listed, which I'm not a fan of.

Yelp
This spot was super chic and the food was amazing quality, the service on the other hand needs help they were very slow with drinks and it took us about 40 minutes to get the tab after asking for it. But again everyone was very nice and the food is amazing!
