Amazing fresh sushi! Don't be fooled by their small size! Food is delicious!

Just shocked it has less than five stars. We LOVE Oishii's Sushi Bar. Consistently the best sushi in Boston. Always the same great service, quick, knowledgeable, attentive. Usually the same waitress too :) It is a very small sushi bar so you are up close and personal with neighbors but that's part of the charm. Love this place.

Solid Japanese restaurant with a large and creative assortment of sushi rolls, which is my main experience so far. We ordered take out for a late dinner on a Friday night. Took 35min but having called the order in ahead the pick up was hassle-free. Loved that they created a whole list of sushi rolls based on their customers’ preferences!

The best cuts of sashimi in the Boston area and reasonably priced for the quality and size that you get.

Tiny tiny location seating maybe 20 people, but with a wonderful selection of rolls. One of the only location that I have found that offers hot cooked rolls for a drastic change from the ordinary selection of California, Spicy Tuna, and Philadelphia. As an added bonus, if seated at the bar, the sushi chefs prepare all the rolls right in front of you! Very very small - be prepared to wait or come during off hours.

It's a great hidden spot and if you're in the area a great option for good quality sushi. But the cuts are often HUGE and the rolls are large too. Everything is just oversized which is ironic considering the space is TINY and you don't have the space for the large platters. Quality is good so I can't knock it for that-- but you definitely have to be prepared for the large cuts of fish (too much to eat in one bite) and over dressed apps.

One the very best sushi bars I know. Quality is well above the average. You may have to wait to be seated as the place is very popular and the capacity is rather small. Also, it's not going to be cheap. But, hey, the quality and variety is worth all that.

The original, and still the best, of the Oishii sushi group. This place gets busy starting around 5:30 on weeknights and never lets up. Do not attempt to come with a large group unless you're coming at an odd hour. Also, consider takeout if you're lucky enough to live nearby. This is the best classic sushi restaurant in the entire Boston area, and it won't tear a hole through your budget like O Ya or Uni (both great places, but inaccessible to most sushi fans). I highly recommend introducing yourself to the chefs at the sushi bar and asking them to just feed you until you say stop. Choosing off the menu is never a /bad/ idea, but it seems the chefs really much prefer the opportunity to pick the freshest and most interesting ingredients and I always feel better satisfied for my money
