"Later, I got half a chicken burrito and half a tofu torta, plus chips and guac, from Ojalá Mexican. I’ve never gone to this place before. But they have the tofu torta, which is just something I had to try. Again, it’s unifying the torta and the burrito."

I am so in love with this place. The best place in town. Highly recommend the food the atmosphere. It's definitely one of the places you can't miss if you come to New York. The owner William will make you feel right at home. I had the fajitas felt like I was in Mexico right by the beach. Their patio was so original.

A great experience with classic Mexican food. They have a great menu of options to choose from. We had the tacos which hit the spot, with plenty of meat and sauces. Pork is very juicy and flavorful and the chicken is a nice flavor but is a little dry. They have a lovely backyard with plenty of space to sit and eat. The staff was fast and friendly too. Easy to get to and is off the C train. Great place to get food! 🇲🇽🌯🌮

Delicious food! Got take out twice in 2 weeks and love all the food! Super delicious and the staff was always friendly. My new favorite Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood!

I hate writing bad reviews for small businesses but I’ve eaten at Olajá twice in the restaurant and it was super tasty but my delivery order tonight was really disappointing. I ordered Bistec Encebollado which I also had on my first visit three months ago. The first time was fantastic - big sizzling plate of steak in a delicious red sauce with lots of bell peppers and onions. So good! Tonight the same dish was pathetic - about three bites of steak, burned onions, no peppers, no sauce. I had to double check I ordered from the same restaurant (I did). Maybe I shouldn’t have done delivery?

I had the Fish taco lunch special. It was a good meal that filled me up. I pre-ordered through ChowNow, it still a few minutes more to have my order ready. The fish was a bit too small and way too many onions. I am going to retry with chicken or vegetable to see if there's a difference. Staff was pleasant. Restaurant was clean and open air. I will definitely ordering for a lunch again.

Oh my goodness this place has good food! Very authentic and fresh. The seating area out back is very cozy. The margaritas are awesome. The service was really nice and explained dishes to us without making us feel dumb for being unfamiliar with Mexican dishes. Would come here often if we lived in NY.

Ordered takeout on a whim (ojalando que será buena!!)and it was amazing!!! I got three tacos, birria/Al pastor/chicken and each one did not fail to satisfy. The meat is so flavorful and can tell the food is made with love. Fast delivery and delicious guacamole too! Will definitely be a repeat customer.

The spot is nice. I eat on the backyard witch is all rocks leaving table and sets uneven. The Guacamole was way to thick for my liking. My shrimp dish had a sauce that was great . I give it a 3.5
