The 13 Best Nachos in Miami | Eater Miami

"It’s not Miami without Cuban nachos making an appearance. At Caja Caliente, the nachos are made using a mix of made-to-order tortilla chips and plantains topped with cheddar cheese, tomatoes, black olives, pickled red onion and jalapeños, black beans, and chipotle crema — plus protein options which include picadillo, pollo, abuela’s lechon, and vaca frita." - Amber Love Bond

I had an amazing experience at Ojo de Agua! I ordered the Banana French Toast, Chilaquiles, and the Steak Sandwich, and everything was absolutely fantastic fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Our server, Alonso, was excellent. He provided great service, was very attentive, and even took the time to let us know about the weekly deals. I highly recommend this spot for a delicious meal and great hospitality. Can’t wait to come back !

Absolutely loved our experience at Ojo de Agua Coral Gables! The atmosphere is vibrant and relaxed, but the true star is the food. We had the chilaquiles verdes and the roast beef poché, and both dishes were outstanding. The chilaquiles verdes were perfectly balanced—crispy tortilla chips bathed in a tangy green salsa, topped with just the right amount of crema, cheese, and fresh herbs. Each bite was packed with flavor and had that comforting, homemade touch. The roast beef poché was a delicious surprise—tender, juicy, and full of depth. The beef was cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with the accompaniments. It’s clear that high-quality ingredients and careful preparation are a priority here. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for fresh, flavorful food with a refined Mexican twist. We’ll definitely be back!

It was a very cute and nice atmosphere! Our food came out very quickly and we were offered an appetizer on the house. Overall was a great time and good food!! Alonso was our server and he was very attentive and helpful with accommodating a gluten intolerance at the table!

This is a very cozy location with unique indoor seating. The turkey bacon breakfast special was top but the enchiladas suizas was way too cheesy. The coffee is great and the service is good too.

We had an outstanding meal at Ojo de Agua in Coral Gables! The Brickell Toast was a total home run!!!! It was perfectly balanced and packed with flavor. The Caprese Salad was fresh, clean, and absolutely delicious, with a beautifully creamy burrata that stood out. The club sandwich with turkey bacon was a hit! Elevated and satisfying and the ribeye tacos were next-level: tender, flavorful, and crafted with care. One of the best parts? They only use avocado oil and olive oil, our food was completely SEED OIL FREE! That’s a huge win for those of us who care about real ingredients and healthy fats. However…. Some things on the menu are not entirely seed oil free or completely organic. They are happy to tell you what is or isn’t. Ask for Daniel, he was our server and made the experience even better. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and guided us toward the best dishes while helping us avoid anything that wouldn’t be the right fit for our tastes. They do have things with unknown sources like plantain chips that are not made in house- but if you ask- tell them you are seed oil free - they will happily accommodate. This place is a gem and we can’t wait to come back!

Ivan made our experience memorable! Amazing service attitude! And the rib-eye and cochinita tacos… just like being in México! So sad they closed this one!!! :-(

I wanted to write a yelp review for this new spot but couldn’t find the page. I love the ojo de agua in Brickell. But this spot is NOT the same. The food tasted off. The whole vibe is not it. As soon as I walked in they were fixing the sign outside. There was water all over inside with do not slip signs. The AC was uncomfortably to cold. The dish that I got did not taste good at all. The latte tasted off. I am deeply dissapointed was looking forward to having Ojo de Agua in a second location.
