O'Kelley's Sports Bar & Grill

We got a warm welcome and the place was big enough to find seats even when busy. The Bloody Mary Bar was amazing and the Irish Nachos with tater tots were a must try. Overall it is a fun spot with good food and drinks, perfect for catching a game.

Taylor was our server, she saved the day with her fun personality! Our breakfast ticket unfortunately was lost so it took an extremely long time. The owner graciously offered to pick up the tab. There were 4 of us, wasn't necessary but greatly appreciated. Prices were very fair and lot's of great selections. Will definitely be back. 👍🏻

Very fun spot with lots of activities. Good array of specials. Food was great. Our waitress Georgie was very attentive/informative and very smiley and positive. Her and the managers had to deal with some questionable people and they handled it well. She made sure to take care of us even while dealing with that. We will be back.

May 3, 2025 Great off-track betting venue for the Kentucky Derby. I still haven't tried their food so I can't review that.. Great atmosphere and friendly staff!! I came here by myself and I really love when an establishment is single person friendly. Very friendly crowd. I did not win anything today, but I also did not spend much. I didn’t order food, but the service and atmosphere are great as is the entertainment. I came to see Diva Rocks! My second time seeing them at this location. I have also come here for the Kentucky Derby. They have off-site betting here.

Good place to go solo or with a group. Always very busy. You will seldom get a seat at the bar. But it won't matter. Pool tables and darts on one side. Off track betting and lots of TV's for watching sports games on the other side. Bands or karaoke later in the evening. Lots of regulars hang here. Bartenders, service, and food is all great. Good outdoor patio. You should probably Uber since you may have more fun than intended. 😉

Just a great place to eat, or just have a beer, it's not really for kids but they can still eat. Theyhelpful and have lots of different sports shows on all the time. Waitresses are friendly and nice.

I believe that a restaurant is only as good as its weakest dish, so I order the Fish and Chips every time I go somewhere and see it. Being far from the ocean, this is a great way to tell if a restaurant can make good of a bad situation. The fish and chips were pretty great. The whole dish was hot and fresh, as if it had just been cooked. It came out quickly and the fish were crisp and tender. 5/5 fish. The fries felt overdone, so they weren't as good as I had hoped. However, that can also be a personal preference. 2/5 fries. I usually don't eat the coleslaw, so I won't provide a rating to it. I'm sure to a coleslaw enjoyer it was good. I would recommend this Fish and Chips dish because the fish was very good. However, the fries may end up not being as good as you hope. Aside from the food, this place has a fun trivia night on Mondays and Thursdays. I've been with a group twice and will likely go again. Service was great and it felt very lively.

The wings, burgers, Reuben are the best!! Kimmie, Amanda, Jamie, Morgan and Taylor are the best bartenders!! And if you can’t find a spot at the bar Danielle will take Great care of you at one of the tables. Great place for football, all teams fans seem to be welcome and there is always a bit of friendly trash talk. They also open early for the world’s futbol on occasion. All in all just a great neighborhood pub!

We came here for the "Brawl of the Wild" watch party (Montana State vs. Montana football). We were warmly welcomed. The space is huge, so we were able to grab a seat even though it was pretty full. We opted for the Bloody Mary Bar. (This was a Saturday morning, I am not sure exactly when they offer this magical goodness, but if you are they and they have it out I highly recommend partaking.) I had to try the Irish Nachos because I love everything about a tater tot. (Tater tots topped with queso cheese, diced tomatoes, olives, onions, bacon, jalapeños, and served with sour cream and salsa.) I was going to try more menu items but that giant Bloody Mary was a full on appetizer. Fun and tasty place to catch a game!

There is always one establishment that makes you feel like home. O'Kellys is that place of great food and drinks to match the atmosphere of a great time. Please check this place out and leave your expectations at the door. You won't be disappointed.

Came out again this time at night had Christina same experience with Christina as the first with Amanda total sweet heart and killer attitude had a blast with our group Christina also great attitude we had a blast!

Food was amazing ..fun place to watch your favorite NFL games my grandson loved it cheering on after every touchdown.. servers are awesome took good care of us... will definitely be returning

Great place to watch a game! Lovely staff members were on top of every table when they needed it. They were also willing to change one of their many TV's to a game of my liking. The food was great for a sports bar. I had the Cajun dry rub wings and they were great. Larger wings, juicy, tender, and the ranch was some of the best I've had. Also, if you're a Chelsea FC fan, this is the spot to go to on match days/mornings! Up the blues!!!

Ordered burger "medium". Wife ordered different burger, but also "medium". They brought this, both were well done (and dry, asked for mayo to help it). On a positive note, the onion rings are good, and the beer is cold.

The servers were attentive and friendly, drinks were good, beer nice & cold, and food was great! When in town I'll for sure be back. Thursday night, they have 2 rooms. Kareoke in 1 and Games & the Jukebox in the other.

I have rarely wasted my time going out of my way for this crap but it has to be done. My toddler and I sat ourselves and after 5 mins I flagged wait staff for menus. She brought menus as our server showed up. Ordered drinks, my first beer to show up 15 mins later was wrong, she gave it to me for free as she should and said she'd give me what I ordered later. Fine. We ordered around 1:25 (it was probably much, much earlier but I'm being conservative), was told at 1:55 it would be ready in 6 minutes. Around 2:10, they brought my food and said my son's food would be 5 mins. Then 5 more, then 5 more, etc. While we waited, I couldn't let my son keep going hungry so I stripped the flavor off of my wings so he could eat the chicken. In the meantime he inevitably got stains on his brand new shirt that was actually a birthday gift! You can't make this up! Sometime around 2:25, they showed up with the salad, which I refused because it had been 45 mins since my hungry 4 year old child ordered it. A chicken salad. That is embarrassingly absurd. I refused it, my server said "I figured." And it was removed from the bill, as it should have been. We had no time to stick around for more antics. We paid the bill with 20% tip and won't be back. We fortunately still had time to spend money to feed my child elsewhere. As a patron, I'm disappointed. As a parent, I'm much more aggravated! How appalling!

Love this place! From the bartenders to the waitresses, they are so friendly and so much fun. It's always a good time day or night!

Fun bar with great cover bands - is often very busy but staff do a good job staying on top of orders/ drink refills.

Food is great! Love the management! Love watching games here and playing darts! Christina the manager is one of the best additions to the bar as well. Been coming here for a while and gonna keep coming here! Totally reccomend to come hang out

Arrived in Chandler for a visit. I had a great time great food and service. Nice place to hang out for a beer.

I recently went to O'Kelleys for St. Patrick's Day. I had heard that this bar had an all day happy hour, so I was looking forward to some bargains. For the day, O'Kelleys served all drinks in plastic cups and meals on disposable plates. Not only that, as I found out when I got my tab, no happy hour for the holiday. Our bill for Irish nachos, 4 beers, and an "Irish coffee", regular coffee with a shot of Baileys, was $65. On a normal day, prices are much less and service is much better. They were severely understaffed for the early crowd. Rumor had it that a cover charge would be assessed later in the day to cover the cost of the live music. Needless to say, for an Irish bar on St Patrick's Day, O'Kelleys was a huge disappointment.

Decent strip mall sports bar to watch soccer. TVs are a bit disjointed but service was surprisingly prompt for how short staffed it appeared. Solid beers and enormous breakfast burritos. Little dungy for our liking but worth a drop in beer if in the area.

The fries and wings always hit with the ranch! The bacon burger is a plus. The bartenders and the servers are always great. Shoutout to Amanda, Moe and Alyssa. -couple

Foods good, nothing amazing. Service is hit or miss especially if it's busy. But it's a fun bar and atmosphere. They do a good job having events pretty much every night. There are two pool tables and darts. We go for football and they have all the games going.

This is our local bar. Every bartender is amazing and super friendly. Never any bad vibes. All of the local bands they book are impressive too!

I will never recommend this place! Gnats galore and the food was horrible. I got the french dip and the beef was tough and the au jus didn't help and all flavorless. We got the one Irishish item...Guinness battered fish and chips. Made my guy sick. We'll never go back again.

This is a neighborhood sports bar (lots of TV's) and what makes it different are the people. Everyone is so nice. The regulars, the servers, the managers, the band, everyone. The food is very good too (the onion rings could be hotter). I saw some families with children (before 9 p.m. when the band plays) having dinner. Mature and young visit. You can play pool or dance to the live band. I even returned to hear another band. If you are a Senior and want to go out, check this sports bar out. I had fun.

Atmosphere was very chill and at ease. Came in with family and friends after our overnight shift. We all had some drinks and food and it was a great way to end the week. The service was great. Everyone was nice, it was cool. Definitely coming back for more wings and onion rings. And also I'm sober from alcohol 6.5+ years and NA beer is served here. I go out to the bar scene just to hangout with people and for the food... depending on the bar... I'm definitely coming back to try more from this menu. And the pools tables are calling me also, next time. For sure.

I love this place. I love the bartenders Jamie and Xia! I just wish I hey had a better whiskey selection. I'm not overly fancy but everything being bottom shelf is not the move!!

The place is okay. The typical sub par bar food within the 1970s decor that is a little dingy. I don't understand all the rave reviews. There are better places everywhere.

Service was great. Was a great value, prices were super reasonable. But it's just an average neighborhood dive bar. Wings were small, but price was still on point. Not a great drink selection if you prefer higher quality beers and booze, just the basics, but the prices were better than the places with higher selection. Came to listen to a band, worth it to hear some good music, but wouldn't choose to come here just for food and drink, would totally come back for the right entertainment though.

We've come here a couple of times since i moved here 3 years ago. The staff has always been friendly and we've tried their food so it's always fun times when we come in. This is a great place for groups to come after work or a couple for date night they usually have live entertainment on the weekends.

I've never eaten at O'Kelleys, but I've had SOOOO much fun here. They have 2 pool tables and it seems like they have some type of live music and or karaoke almost every single time I've been here. A very spacious bar and clean bathrooms!!!! Four stars because it's the service you would expect from a low key dive bar. Not bad customer service, but not quite congenial either.

LIterally every time we visit our friends in Mesa, we end up at O'Kelley's. Now, we don't know everyone, but everyone else there all know each other which makes it a fun atmosphere. They have the same bands playing often. The servers are friendly and give good service. Its a neighborhood watering hole where most people aren't drinking fancy drinks. They're watching sports on tv, listening to a band, and drinking beers and taking shots. Its just that kind of place. Seeya there.

Great dive bar with great beer options from the standards to PBR cans to some craft brews on tap. Sports ball is quite prevalent. To the owners: stop over cooking the wings!!!!! The sauce is so damn good. Bake the wings 15 mins before frying... you can do that the morning before. PLEASE FIX THE WINGS SITUATION.

I love O'Kelly's! Amazing amazing place! Love all the people!! Been coming for years! Our main night is Thursday nights! Really disappointed that Jamie always seems to be taken off Thursday's nights. We have been coming to see her for years. This last few weeks haven't been as fun. We end up leaving early. We do not form a connection from always having a new bartender.

This place was really great to me the one time I entered it. I was happily greeted by a very young vibrant server, I believe her name was Ahleesa or something, but she was Uber friendly and welcoming! She was my guide for an amazing and fun time here, everything tasted Incredible! I was actually just delivering a Pizza nearby when I stopped in, but she asked me for extra anchovies, and everyone received a fantastic TIP! YOU GNAW MEEE?!

Unless you're really into off-track betting, I don't recommend this place. The food service was exceptionally slow, and a bit pricey for the quality of the food. The whole place would benefit from a deep steam-clean ... including the menus. It's unfortunate, because we love sports bars.

Do you like a sports bar with strong drinks and a surprisingly good kitchen? This is a classic dimly lit bar. The prices are unbeatable, they could raise them and still be a steal. The French dip, onion rings, wings, sliders, are my go to favorites. Their au jus is outstanding! Bartenders are all great, plenty of TVs (wish there was more of the chive). Lively atmosphere for the 35-55 crowd but not obnoxious, perfect. Lots of seating and parking. Other features include Pool table, OTB, Lottery, occasionally a band.

O'Kelley's fish and chips are really good. The wings on the other hand were not so great. As noted in another review they were way over cooked. This is surprising for a sports bar. The ranch and blue cheese dressings did not have much flavor. We have only had the wings and fish and chips so can't comment on the other food. The service was very good. There is a good selection of beer on tap. This is a sports bar so sometimes there are really loud guests screaming at the TV. As if the football players can hear them. We went on Saturday afternoon and planned to leave if the guests were too loud. The college fans were much quieter. When a band is playing it is too loud for us. It could use a deep cleaning.

So. I was asking for the others around me for the music to be changed. Our bartender Travis would not do anything to this.

Worst pint of Guinness I've ever had. The head was way too small and it wasn't poured right. Awful.

Went there with my fiancé last Saturday 07/26 for the Suns game. We had some great craft beer and food. I had a couple IPA's and she enjoyed some Big Blue Van action from their draft selection. The buffalo chicken wrap and grilled wings were GREAT! Shout out to our server Allison for great service. She was very attentive and held it down for us the entire game. I enjoyed her calm-cool vibe and professionalism. We'll be back!

Good atmosphere. Employees were very nice however they could've came around to our table a little more often but not a deal breaker.

Food is always on point especially when new dude Andrew is cooking in kitchen he always puts out awesome food you can tell he cares about the food !! He works at nights so go in and order a mushroom Swiss burger and a cold beer that burger smacks !!!

Came here here with my boo on a whim, super inviting and the bar and surrounding area was super clean. I don't know what my bae was drinking but she said it tasted like jello so she was happy. Big brownie points to the bartender Jamie. Made it super cool and dope. Ps I got a compliment on my shirt so made my night.

Been going to O'Kelly's for a while bet on horses eating drink and this time the manager lady was in back moping the floors with some caustic smelling cleaner and when brought it up to her she made a racist comment saying it must be that Mexican stuff and after people were complaining it was burning their eyes's nose and asked her to close the door she wouldn't close it and kept opening it when we would close it will not come to this place again they're a bunch of racist

Very disappointed. We are from Wisconsin & saw that this was "The Best Packer Bar in the East Valley". There was not ONE item of Green Bay Packer decor in the place. We asked the bartender to change the TV that was directly in front of us (only ones sitting at the bar 1 hour before the games started at 11). The bartender said she couldn't change them because the Cardinals game was on those TVs.... Then the Dallas Cowboys cane was the one playing overhead in the bar. ??? Much rather go to Stadium Club in Chandler for a REAL Packers feel. Also, the bartender was RUNNING back and fourth behind the bar, spilling beers, breaking glasses, putting the drink receipts right on top of the beers (ew). It was not even that busy for her to be sloppy like that. Food was decent though!

We're charged double but said it was our fault because we were drinking beer. But she gave us 2 bills 1 for the double charge and one for my charge.we go there at least 2 times a week but won't be going back

Tonight I waited almost 2 hours for my turkey club sandwich. My server, Megan was inattentive and lacking personal boundaries. I had to ask the bartender for a water because Megan was absent and did not take my order until approximately 40 minutes after I sat down. No menus, plates, silverware, or refills. I would have left if I wasn't in the middle of a game of trivia! I counted 15 tv's without power (signal from the dish box). This place sucks!

I would give a 5 Star review if they could figure out how to serve COLD BEER. Service and food are great but the BEER IS WARM. In my opinion, they would increase their business a minimum of 25% if they invested in beer coolers that kept the serving temperature of beer at 45 degrees minimum.

Love the staff and owners of the place! Always nice and kind when I walk in there and always remember me when I walk in to get some breakfast. Would totally recommend okellys 100% for food, Fun, and Drinks.
