Oktoberfest in Fredericksburg is Fun! $15 one day adult entry. Buy tickets once inside. Each ticket is $1. We paid 7 tickets for a beer and 17 tickets for German American Bowl with a red bratwurst and 1 ticket fit a side of tasty, fresh saurkraut. Delicious food - variety of brats with different add ons, funnel cake bites, cheese curds and so much more. Several tents to check out. Each had their own live music. Kids area with games and a playground. Musicians at each tent and at times in the main plaza. Liter Beer holding contests! Several stops for beer, plus wine, mimosas, soft drinks and water. Lots of portable bathrooms that they clean throughout the day. Dance floors set up near bands under the tents. In the heat of the day, it was tough to find seats in the shade. Couple of tents where vendors sell some amazing items. Lederhosen and dirndls everywhere. Worth the trip!

Had an amazing time at Oktoberfest in Fredericksburg! 🍺 The traditional German dances and music brought such a fun, festive vibe — and everyone looked great in their dirndls and lederhosen. The variety of beers was impressive and definitely worth trying. The only downside was how packed it was — super crowded with long wait lines for food and drinks. Still, the lively atmosphere made it a memorable experience! 🎉🇩🇪

Great experience. Lots to enjoy. Live music everywhere, TONS of beer (a little pricy: ~$7 per drink), and plenty of fun to be had. Everything is ticket-based so I recommend buying as many tickets as you think you might need all at once because ticket lines can get long.

I'm a little disappointed that there weren't more vendors. Saturday was a pretty hot day to go. Everyone was trying to find shade. The beer lines were pretty long. Food was alright. Willing to come again, however.

A little disappointed that I paid $8 for a Walmart pretzel at a festival that is supposed to be celebrating German heritage!

First, volunteers were great, but they were constrained by mgmt Food was sub par .. under cooked pretzels were horrible at $8 Music in main tent on Friday was non existent from 8:39 pm to almost 10 pm as bands transferred Czech band took almost 40 min to set up Beer taps weren’t working in a too many spots causing lines and foam beer Worst curry wurst I’ve ever had 7-11 could do better
