The 21 Best Restaurants In Margate - London - The Infatuation
"Olby’s is as much a venue as it is a homely restaurant. The rootin’ tootin’ fusion spot on King Street has a variety of bands and stand-ups perform every week but is probably best-known for its enormous Sunday roasts. Friends and families book way in advance for jerk rib-eye with all the trimmings, but on weekdays the Caribbean-inspired menu still hits the spot. A rack of ribs is doused in a fruity marinade and the finger food menu pairs well with watching anyone perform up on stage. It’s a friendly, low-key space where everyone is made to feel comfortable." - jake missing, daisy meager, sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Amazing food tucked away off the main drag of margate. Ribs were so good they may have ruined all other ribs for me, and the jerk chicken was phenomenal with complex flavours. Side salads were fresh and delicious, service was excellent. A slower, more relaxed dining experience but everything was worth the wait.

Sat outside in sun, veg roast was lush (in picture) although sad that callaloo mash portion so small. Staff friendly. Friend liked her wine.

I went to this cafe because it was featured in Interior Designer's Masters. I was in town so I decided to give it a go. The food was good but not exceptional. It was not busy at all (I went on a Friday afternoon). The cafe decoration is so beautiful! So that's why I gave 5 for atmosphere.

What a great place, food and service were spot on. Little change to my meal but just improved it when something was running low. Had a couple of starters, small dishes, and a side all out at once, tapas style all tasted amazing. Highly recommend.

We ended up there by chance and so glad we did. It has a very nice atmosphere with decent decor.
We really love the food. Jamaican style fish and chips were brilliant.
We will definitely visit again.
