This charming little restaurant offers a unique dining experience. The intimate setting creates a cozy atmosphere. Seating is limited, so reserving a table is highly recommended. The menu features innovative dishes and beverages. Prepare to be intrigued by the culinary creations. The thoughtfully crafted menu promises a delightful exploration of flavors. This hidden gem is well worth discovering.

Five stars across the board here, folks. The atmosphere is quiet and low light. Great for a special night or date night. Reservations are highly recommended due to the smaller dining area. The service was as amazing as the atmosphere. The servers are attentive and knowledgeable. Drinks were very good and well executed. Food was some of the best flavors I've ever tasted. This place is on point. The garlic asparagus was the star of the show.

We went for the first time tonight, and it won't be our last. The atmosphere, food, and service were top-notch. Amazing! Unique dishes. Spices and flavors you wouldn't expect.

This was a very nice surprise. Elegant decor and intimate environment. Very large selection of tea, sold by the cup or pot. Nice interesting selection of cocktails. Our server, a lovely young blond woman was so very helpful and kind, offered great suggestions when we placed our order. We ordered several small dishes to share rather than ordering entrees and the food came out at just the right time and was really very excellent and unique flavors. I would like to come back and do the tea pairing some day. Lots of options for different dietary restrictions. I would suggest making reservations, while we did walk in we were able to snag the last at least but there was still bar seating available. We came about 3pm on a Saturday. Parking is non-existent so plan to scout out a spot nearby in the public parking lot.

We’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while. The ornately decorated little space and menu was exciting to look at, and I liked the big variety of teas to pick from. Our favorite thing from the menu was the tea leaf salad—so much flavor and texture! The donburri was pretty boring as there was not much to it and no flavor or sauce. The fried tofu was different than expected but still good. I’d definitely suggest coming for a bunch of small plates, though it feels expensive for what you get (tea and food).

I highly recommend Old Asia Tea House to everyone. The space, although small, is wonderful. It is decorated and lit well for a romantic dinner or a group of four. The food was amazing. We tried many of the things on the menu and were not disappointed with any of it. The cocktails and tea were also very good. The space inside is very small so make sure to make reservations if you want to sit indoors.

The main issue during my visit was the long wait time. For a small restaurant with a few tables, such long wait times make no sense especially when it was not busy either. The service staff was very helpful and kindly gave us a discount without us complaining and asking for it. I was impressed by the staff's incentive on this. Great customer care! Another issue was delivery of forks with each dish was consistently missed. The third negative for me was the rice in entrees was undercooked and a bit crunchy :( Also their popular Chicken Karage was out. Besides these shortfalls, I must admit the beef skewers and the beef entrees were really tasty. Fantastic dishes to try! The chicken meatballs were a bit bland but well cooked. The hot sauce it came with made sense BUT there was no indication of how hot that sauce is! I can take a good level of heat but that sauce almost made my ears bleed! Oh boy! Customers would appreciate a heads up on that for sure ;) Lychee and mango beers were interesting to try. If you do not have a sweet tooth, you may want to skip those though. Prices are a bit high given the small portion sizes. For a $30 per head check, I would expect to fill fuller prior to exit. I think this place offers original dishes I haven't seen in the area. However, the kitchen needs to be more organized and swift to do justice to the wonderful staff and the original dishes.

Google
Really beautiful atmosphere and vibe. It was relaxing and service was good! Food was so yummy! Loved the garlic asparagus and the tea leaf dumplings! My Mango beer was tasty! I would love to go back and bring my friend that loves tea. And try more things on their menu! The snap peas and chicken karaage sounded really good too.

Yelp
I had a great time at Old Asia Teahouse! If you're looking for a traditional tea house feel with a modern twist, this is the place for you. We had the 3 course tea High Tea Ceremony. This was a course of small plates paired with 3 unique teas all served gongfu style. The food was good, and even though they were considered "small plates" between the food and the tea, I finished the afternoon with a full belly! The staff was super knowledgeable and guided us through each tea, their pairing suggestions, as well as step by step brewing instructions l. The space is small so I recommend making a reservation if that's an option. Overall, this was a great experience.

Yelp
Food was good, tea was tasty, ambiance was the best part. Tiny place that just feels cool. I might be showing my age, but while I have no real complaints, value for money was questionable. Bring a date, splash out with some friends doing something different... worth a special occasion.

Yelp
Definitely a smaller quaint location, with MAX 10 tables; so if you plan on coming on a busy night I would highly recommend placing reservations. We went on a Tuesday night and the place was already packed. The server, at least on the day we went, was working OVER TIME. There was only 1 server and she operated as the bar tender, hostess, and server. I understand that its a small location but she was running and was still incredibly friendly despite the fact. The food is amazing. Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic and we had a lot. We tried the Fire Fish Soozi, the Salmon Poke Bowl, the chicken Karaage, Garlic chicken noodles, and the Fried beef with garlic fried rice. I know a lot of the dishes have garlic in their name, just know that garlic is quite predominant flavor amongst multiple dishes. Definitely on the pricier side for starters, but the portions are decent and the flavors are good.

Yelp
I love a tea service! I love trying different teas. I saw that Old Asia Teahouse has a ceremonial tea service, but didn't pay attention to when they have them. Just on weekends between 2-4. I made reservations for 6:30 on a Sunday, so the ceremony was out; next time! I really recommend reservations, it's a pretty small place. Street parking, which wasn't too hard to find on a Sunday evening. I went with my sister, I ordered a hot cinnamon spice black tea and my sister got the dragon well tea. We did share a couple things. She ordered lentil soup with roti, it's vegan and gluten free. I ordered the tea leaf salad, also vegan and gluten free. We exchanged tastes and they were both good. She got the chicken nikudango all to herself. For dessert, we ordered Gold Bullion Cake: Bullion shape cake made with almond to share (VG, DF, GF) she also got the sooji cake to go. I liked the gold bullion cake ok, but will forgo it next time. It was cool experience and would love to return in the near future!

Yelp
We had dinner reservations for a Saturday night at this restaurant. We decided to order more of the appetizers to try out and order one entree to share between the two of us. We each ordered a cup of tea and some sparkling water to start the meal. The tea was very aromatic and amazingly displayed. Our food came out at once. The star of the night must be the snap peas as it was cooked to perfection. The seared tuna was great too. Overall, the interior space is very intimate. It is highly recommended that you make reservations in advance to ensure there is a table inside. There are a lot of tables outside as well when the weather permits. Overall, it was a fun experience.

Yelp
Great ambiance! Love the decor, plenty of seating inside. I visited for lunch during the week, and there were only two other tables seated while I was there. Service was attentive, we were greeted immediately and they took our order in a timely manner. We ordered the chicken karaage, garlic noodles, and the tea leaf salad. The tea leaf salad was my favorite of all the dishes we had, full of flavor and the perfect crunch. The chicken was nice and crispy, but all the flavor was in the sauce. Overall we enjoyed the food, it just took a while to come out. I can see there being a long wait for food to arrive if you dine during a busier time. They have a great tea menu, I can definitely see myself returning to enjoy tea and appetizers or dessert.

Yelp
walked in as a teahouse and you found out they can offer than teas. Great selections of teas, some sweets. Also they have full bar and you can order some food. Service is good. Small but good ambiance, I had a cup of tea and almond cake. I will comeback for some food and drinks.

Yelp
Everything was great. Ambiance. Service. Tea. Food. We visited for tea service, which came with a prefixed lunch. We picked our three teas and they were served with an appetizer (sweet bread), main (we had a fried chicken bowl and an eggplant bowl-both were MOUTH WATERING), and an assortment of Indian desserts, which were all new to me. We loved the surprise of not knowing what we were eating. I would recommend.

Yelp
This spot is adorable & intimate! They have an impressive selection of tea with delicious tapas. I love how they present their menus too because you can easily make a selection based on what type of flavors and/or caffeine levels you're looking for. I enjoyed trying various dishes & thought each one was delicious & full of flavor. It's a great spot to try out even if you're not a big fan of tea as they offer various non-tea drinks as well. One thing we experienced when dining there was a distracting noise during our dining experience & I'm not sure if it was the building or some sort of activity they were doing in the back, but that was a bit unpleasant. However, that may have been just occurring during the specific day we went or if that was a normal noise to expect.

Yelp
Came here with my friend for the afternoon tea and this place did not disappoint. The inside is on the smaller side and feels cozy but not cramped. For their afternoon tea, they have a solid selection with some lower caffeine options for those who have a lower tolerance (me lol). We both loved the blue people oolong so much that we bought some to take home. The small bites that are included were different from what I've had at other places, which was nice because it felt like there was more variety. You also get a pretty good sized Donburi bowl which makes it feel like a meal. The service was great and the staff were knowledgeable about the teas. I think my favorite part was the tea offering to the little cat figure that was at our table. I definitely want to go back and try the food from their regular menu!

Yelp
A cozy atmosphere for some nice tea. The food tastes good. Give this place a try. However a couple of things to note which was note clear to me. The tea ceremony is charged per person but the cake and sweets in the first and third course are shared. I was expecting that we would get two sets of cakes and sweets which was not the case. I don't know how it works for one person. That being said, if I misunderstood the menu, I would say that the food is a bit on the pricier side. But check it for a cozy experience for sure.

Yelp
Wowwwwww, amazing food! Quality ingredients, a must! In town for work and doordashed this place and I am in love! Can't wait to see it in person!

Yelp
Wow! This space is so cute and beautifully decorated I was definitely impressed! Additionally the food was absolutely delicious and the tea selection was great with beautiful place settings and dinnerware! The only downside is the inside is very small so I would definitely recommend making a reservation. The server was very educated on the menu and was able to help recommend some great teas and dishes.

Yelp
We came as a family of 5 with no reservations and were seated quickly. Our waitress did warn us there was a reservation on our table for later in the evening but we were out in plenty of time I do recommend reservations though because the space is small and seating is very limited. The ambiance is really nice, definitely give the tea house vibes the name promises. Theu have a small menu so we ordered most of it and loved everything. For small plates the Chicken Karage, Garlic Asparagus, and Salmon Poke Tower were our faves. We got all 4 entrees and everyone had a different favorite but all agreed that the Garlic Rice in the Fried Beef W/Garlic Rice stole the show. They have a fantastic tea selection and had pop for our non-tea drinking teens. Highly recommend Old Asia Tea House, we will be back soon.

Yelp
This is an off the beaten path establishment that you might miss if you did not know about it. Creative menu with Pan Asian flair. Loved the tea service and had fun asking questions and looking up the background of Tea Pets. The seating area is small and cozy. Perfect for a rainy day. There is more seating outside for nicer weather.

Yelp
We came here for a lady date/girls tea. it is such an adorable place! Service is meticulous, yet slow. Food is tasty, yet pricey. Parking is on the street. The spot is very small and easy to miss. All and all, it is worth the experience

Yelp
I love the concept of an Asian teahouse that offers various Asian fare! The decor and interior lends itself to oriental and romantic vibes. My husband and I came on a Saturday around noon. Since the space is small, I think it's recommended to come with a reservation as the seats can fill up quick but we came with no reservation and it wasn't an issue. We ordered a couple of teas, a Ginseng Tea and Burmese Tea. For food, we ordered a Chicken Karaage, Lentil Soup with Roti, and a Tea Leaf Laphet Thoke (Tea Leaf Salad). They carefully craft their drinks, it's like watching a bartender make a cocktail but instead of a cocktail, it's a tea drink. I love the Burmese Tea because of how earthy it was and the taste was complimented by the oat milk. As for the food, the tea leaf salad is always a standout, it's a must get every time I go to a Burmese restaurant. I did enjoy the Lentil Soup and Roti, it was well spiced and comforting. The karaage was good too, it was light and crispy.

Yelp
This has been on my list of "must try." Finally made it out here. The actual restaurant inside is quite smaller than I expected. But the ambiance is nice. We wanted to start off with tea since they have a great selection. The waiter did a really good job explaining them and made recommendations based on what was to our liking. We started off with the chicken meatballs, yum definitely recommend and the crispy fish, which was also really good. We had the asparagus and the lentil soup with roti, now these two weren't as delicious fell short on flavor and salt. For the mains we had, lemak with chicken, and egg with curry sauce. The chicken was ok the egg curry was however flavorful we enjoyed it. And for dessert we had the sooji cake with coconut ice cream. It doesn't come with ice cream but paired together it's a delicious combination. All in all the service was better than the food. I was expecting some spectacular food. I do recommend trying them especially their teas.

Yelp
TLDR: Ambiance/Vibes - 5/5 (perfect date night/girls night spot!) Food - 4/5 (get the fried beef with garlic rice!) Service - 4/5 Tea - 3/5 I didn't try their cocktails this time but they look so pretty I'm sure they are also delicious! Let me explain: Went to check out this new Teahouse and restaurant right off of Lombard Road (around Ktown BBQ and Carina's Bakery area) Their parking lot is tiny maybe 1 spot and 1 disabled parking spot but there is plenty of street parking around that area. This restaurant is not very big and you can tell they put a lot of effort into their decor to create a cozy and intimate setting with the dim lighting, bright red lanterns, and blue porcelain patterned dishes. It's truly a blend of traditional and modern vibes. We also got the booth (which I would say can comfortably sit 4 people max) and some other seating arrangements by the wall but not many tables altogether, excluding bar seating. The food menu is Asian fusion including small plates to share and 4 entrées and dessert options, but everything was delicious! The sauce on the Agedashi Tofu was light and flavored the soft tofu very well. Chicken Nikudango (chicken meatballs) was bouncy but the sauce was spicy and I don't think there was an indication of that on the menu. Our favorites had to be the Fried Beef with Garlic Sauce (MUST GET!) and the Stir Fried Snap Peas was the crowd favorite. This was a good amount of food to share among the 3 of us with no leftovers. Service was super fast and friendly and she came to check on us several times throughout our meal. We got a pot of the Green Tangerine Pu-erh and there was the typical tea preparation performed at your table: opening up the ball of tea and "rinsing" the first round of water unto the tea animal (ours was a cute tiger I'm not sure if they have different ones) If I may make a suggestion, since this is labeled as a Teahouse, I would have loved to learn more about the tea with perhaps a little card describing the tea origin and blend, have a timer for the most optimal seeping time at the table and hot water for us to add ourselves with our pot. Between 3 people it went down very fast! It also looked like there is an outdoor seating area with a few picnic tables for the warmer months. Overall I recommend trying here for yourself and supporting local business!

Yelp
I was excited to try this place out for the tea experience. Went to the coast and wanted a hot drink and break from driving, but it ended up being a bit annoying. Parking situation is a mess. We went around for 10 minutes and couldn't find parking and some areas were kinda sketchy so had to order to go. The honey ginger was good, although I would have preferred a stronger ginger flavor, once I got to the bottom it was straight honey. The tangerine puer was ok- did not get the "citrusy explosion" :( Not worth $14, but maybe I Will need to try it again in house.

Yelp
The place is small so reservation is likely a must. It is very cozy and full of ambiance that transports you to another place, which is very nice. Service was good and attentive and very friendly. The food is good to ok. Most of the dishes linger around Asian-ish but I get it, flavor of the East but not as much. Presentation is wonderful as your can see in the pictures. I would like to see more authentic flavors but I got a hint of it. Overall a wonderful place for date night.

Christina S.

Yelp
Super yum! Definitely returning. Fresh ingredients calls for the best flavors.

Yelp
Made a reservation for two. My first thoughts were it's so cute and small and a comfortable vibe. Dim lighting and kind of a red ambiance and a whole wall of mirror decor to add to the elements. We got seated two tables in from the front door, majority of seating is close to the door and I was cold! Granted it's December. There was maybe 2-3 booths that were seated away from the door off in a corner that didn't look like it catches too much cold air so that was good to know. It was great for a little date night. It's based around "small plates". We ordered the Poke tower, Garlic noodles and Garlic asparagus and ended with the crème brûlée cheesecake. It was a perfect amount for two people. I'd like to go again and order more including different things with friends. I enjoyed the ambiance and the service was attentive and kind. We also ordered two different teas, which was the highlight of our experience considering the establishment. It was comfy and yummy, and they even had some tea sets on display to look at for purchase. They also have a large outdoor seating area that we think we would enjoy in the warmer time of the year. I give it 4 stars because yes it is a cute smaller establishment but I think there should be better insulation for party's sitting that close to the door. Other than that I had a good time.

Yelp
This place opened in the fall of 2023. The owners of Top Burmese also own this establishment. I had learned about it on Yelp, Google maps, and Top Burmese, and was definitely curious to try this place out. It's absolutely adorable inside. It feels like an authentic tea shop in Asia or New York City. It's got a moody, but cozy dark vibe. Very sleek, chic, urban, but also traditional. Upon arrival, you see the expansive bar in the middle - it's definitely a bar, but instead of alcohol it's adorn with tea, tea pots, loose leaf, and all the assortments. This is a great place to go to after visiting the Japanese or Chinese garden. In the summer there is also an outside tea garden too to enjoy. I just visited here (November 2024) during the rainy months. The tea house is perfect to visit in the evening or on a chilly day. We ordered two different chai tea drinks. My favorite one was the ginger based one which was loaded with flavor. Next time we might ordered a tea pot since the presentation is even more elaborate. We also ordered the lentil soup with bread, which was tasty. Lastly, we ordered the garlic noodles with tofu to share. Everything was delicious and nicely prepared and presented. The only major con is the restaurant is quite small. We were in a corner so it seemed more spacious, but we were still caught quite close to the door. Another couple also came in after us and bumped something on there table and it came crashing and breaking down. It probably was a water glass or the cute little cat soy sauce containers. Either way it was definitely a startle and everyone in the tea house was a bit alarmed. Our table was extremely cluttered for just two people. I think it would be almost impossible to have more in your party with such limited space. I was thinking of organizing a tea for friends possibly here, but I would definitely need a reservation and an explanation on the overall set up of the space due to the space constraints (not the best set up for people with claustrophobic issues). Overall, we really enjoyed coming here and I would definitely visit again. We were able to visit without a reservation, but reservations are highly appreciated.

Yelp
The service & the atmosphere are good. The food is okay. Mostly you are paying for the atmosphere.

Yelp
Cool place and love the vast choices of tea. Small but cozy restaurant. Food was tasty. Despite the ambiance I think some things could be improved - service was decent but slow and didn't really lend to the experience of a tea house as there was no talk about the options, or really any kind of "extra" to make the experience match what I think the restaurant is striving for. Also it was really cold inside the day we went - not sure if that is normal but it was pretty noticeable and we thought the door in the back may have been open the whole time. Lastly, when you can see visible dust on furniture and in corners in the dining area, and broken cups on the floor in the kitchen it definitely makes you wonder how clean things are in the back. Overall - I liked this place but it fell short in some areas.

Yelp
This new little gem is still a bit of a secret spot (only been open 3 weeks), but not for long! Love that there's a Teahouse in Beaverton that serves quality tea AND delicious food - these aren't just tiny sweet bites, they're savory entrees! The menu is a mix of pan Asian dishes, ranging from karaage to beef masala to garlic noodles prepared by the lovely co-owner; it's run by a couple and is a small family owned business! For two women, we ordered: Garlic noodles with tofu Salmon Poké Nasi Lemak with chicken A pot of Chrysanthemum pu'er tea Would certainly order it all again, but also eager to try some of their other small plates and entrees + dessert. Each dish is tasty with balanced flavors, the textures are just perfect (crispy anchovies, well cooked chicken, a soft but good chew on the noodle) and it was all carefully plated and prepared with thoughtfulness. Was especially pleased to start the meal with the salmon Poké, it was fresh with the bites of mango and cucumber plus a lovely light refreshing ponzu sauce. You can tell they care about their service and what they're serving! Not to mention the very cute decor and the little touches, like the adorable cat soy sauce bottle. Now, let's talk about the tea! They do tea service for pots of tea at your table - highly recommend for two or more people. They do the pouring of the first "rinse" and advise you on how long to see to the tea before your first cup. We had the chrysanthemum pu'er tea and it was a lovely blend that I could drink all day - very smooth fragrant. I love tea, and am delighted that there's an Asian tea experience on this side of town. As much as I enjoy a high tea experience, you have to reserve well in advance and it typically costs you $50/person so it's not something you can experience on a whim. But with Old Asia Teahouse, you get an intimate setting to slow down, catch up with friends and savor a few food cups of tea. They have an extensive tea menu, rotating seasonal teas as well as a create-your-own menu! If you've been to Waba or the previous versions of the various pocha's (Korean street style food shop) expect to be surprised. It's been completely renovated and has a Teahouse vibe. You'll most likely have to find street parking since they have a very limited parking in the lot (one spot + one disability parking spot). I'd imagine when the weather is nice, they'll put tables outside so you can enjoy their little "garden."

Yelp
First time here was fabulous - we came for the afternoon tea ceremony, but will be back again and again for the food. This place is super small, so you have to make reservations. Ambiance inside is super warm and beautiful. Highlights were the garlic noodles, the lentil soup with roti and a fish dish (I forget the name!) topped with a delicious chili crunch. The tea ceremony was great too, and the white tea was the best of the bunch. Mom and sister visiting from out of state and husband all give it 5 stars, and us locals will be back and soon!
google avatar

Yelp
What a sweet find! It's on the tiny corner of First and Lombard. You know, that tiny building... well trust me, it's worth a try! And, you need a reservation because there are only seven very small tables (plus summer picnic tables outside if the weather is nice). Parking is on the street unless you have a tiny car or can grab the one handicapped stall. Ambiance is lovely with smooth jazzy music. Service is outstanding since they are so few tables. Tea selection is huge but we had our favorite, a nice and relaxing hojicha. We had the Fried Beef and Garlic Rice, Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken, Mango Ice cream, and Assortment of Indian Treats. We enjoyed everything except the Assortment of Indian Treats - tasted like we were eating flowers... kind of weird but not worth docking a star. Overall, we really enjoyed the meal, music, and hostess.

Super nice spot vibe and location minus the occasional passing of the train!! Gotta check out there tea garden ....Such a great spot!! Small space but amazing vibes decor and staff soooo welcoming!! Food was good but only tried a few small plates but highly recommend the snap peas in garlic sauce and deserts!!! If you like tea this is a must try.....Amazing selection!!

Yelp
To start off- I will say the inside ambience inside was cute despite being considerably cramped. Unfortunately the restaurant has no central AC, so opt out for outside dining during hot days. We attended for a Mother's Day lunch. There were a few groups in the outside dining area. Nothing too crazy. Not sure why dishes took so long to get out, but we'll get there. For our apps we got two poke towers & the tuna. One of the poke had no sauce on the dish at all while the other was drowning in it; nearly waving for a lifebuoy. My tuna had an eye lash or nose hair neatly atop of the dish as well. For taking nearly a half hour to bring out apps one would think that those details might have been caught before serving. Most of the table got the fried beef; which seemed like a cube brisket overcooked. Very chewy. I & another got the chicken dish. Chicken was lacking in flavor & coconut rice seemed slightly undercooked. More crunch than I would have preferred for rice. Also- having a background in plating dishes I wasn't sure why there was a pile of fried anchovies on the plate? Perhaps a few over the rice to garnish, but a whole handful? Interesting. One of us ordered a matcha latte & it seemed the restaurant couldn't get it right if the experience depended on it. The tea experience where they did the initial wash was also a flop. Our server had spilled the tea onto the table during the presentation. Overall not sure if we would attend again. Was feeling hungry afterwards & considered getting our fill at Raising Canes. Yes- the chicken place in Pioneer Place.

Yelp
It is a pretty small and cozy spot that has a great ambiance. I did like the decor of the place as it gives you a nice intimate vibe. The service was very friendly and quick. Our server made sure we had what we needed at all times. We ordered a few dishes to try out - garlic asparagus, fried beef with garlic rice, and garlic noodles with chicken. The food was flavorful and came out quickly. We had the Bi Luo Chun Green Tea, and that was good. I would recommend trying that out.

Yelp
Came here on a Monday in need of a chill place for a dinner date. I was met with really romantic and calmly ambiance and a really unique dining experience. We did a tea tasting and ordered some of the plates which was heavenly. The service here was top notch as well, thanks to our lovely server Maddie. She was so knowledgeable and went out of her way to help us pick out a teas to try. Very friendly, considerate, and patient even though we came in late. Both of us couldn't have enjoyed our plates more. Definitely coming back for date night! Phenomenal spot in Beaverton!

Yelp
Started our night with Tangerine Pu-erh tea with citrus peel and royal ginseng add ons. This was good. Then came all that we ordered: - agedashi tofu - this is not the agedashi tofu you would get at a Japanese restaurant. It's tofu drenched in a very SALTY and THICK oyster sauce?! - karaage chicken - salty and dry - lentil soup - VERY SALTY LIKE THEY OWN THE PACIFIC OCEAN. The roti that came with it was DRENCHED IN OIL! I'm not kidding! - Nasi Lemak - dry and flavorless. The small fish that came with us was VERY SALTY! I guess they own the ATLANTIC OCEAN as well?! - fried beef with garlic rice - beef had no flavor. They should have put the extra salt from the lentil soup to this dish. - garlic noodles - nothing special about this. Finished the night with Gold Buillon Cake and Matcha-gato. Buillon cake was ok. Matcha-gato not good. Not sure who the cook is tonight. They should investigate. There was hardly anyone in there tonight. If they keep this way of cooking, I don't think they will be open for a long time. Something needs to change. The server was good, though.

Yelp
Great ambience, good tea and small plates for a reasonable price. Good service too! Will like to go there again.

Yelp
Another great spot from the Top Burmese team!Ambiance is A++. The place is teeny tiny but the mirrors make it feel a little bigger but still cozy. They plan to have outdoor seating in the summer and would be able to serve more folks. This is definitely a place for a quiet date night or to sip tea and catch up with a friend - not for a large group unless you're doing a private dining room thing. Tea - so many options! So far I've tried a few oolong varieties and pu-erhs, all delicious and served in different vessels and cups. I love the variety! My only warning is that you will want to drink way more tea than normal and be left awake all night if you go in at night... they have some non caffeinated options for that problem. Food, like all the Top Burmese family locations, is delicious. I could eat the spicy fish with a side of rice all day every day. Desserts pair well with the teas and aren't super sweet - the Hojicha raindrop cake was so good. They also have some cocktails which I've yet to try. Do yourself a favor during these dreary Oregon winter months and get yourself some tea and tasty food here!

Yelp
Food is meh... but the ambiance is so cute! Never knew this place existed! It's sort of tucked away. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Give it a try!

Yelp
Bring a friend or a date there. Cozy booth and corners for the date or if it's nice and warm out, sit at one of the outdoor picnic tables under an umbrella. Wherever you go, the service is personable, the drinks are lovely, and the yummies are crafted. They have alcohol and TeIt's good for small plates and they also have a few entrées.

Yelp
Old Asia Teahouse - Old? Looks new to me. Sweet Jujube Fruit Tea, Fermented Tea Leaf Salad, Mango Beer (light and refreshing!), Nasi Lemak w/ Chicken, Poke Tower, Matcha-gato (Coconut Ice Cream)... and they have a patio! Recommend... https://oldasia.co

Yelp
Ambiance and tea 4.2 stars but the food was mid. Garlic noodles tasted like it came straight of out a styrofoam cup and chicken from Costcos plastic container.

Yelp
This... was the best tea experience I've had in years. At least, as far as going above and beyond. We had reservations during the lunch hour, but I made a mistake when I made it. I had wanted to experience their afternoon tea service, but I reserved in the wrong tab for lunch instead. After I explained the mix-up, the staff LET US PARTAKE OF THE AFTERNOON TEA SERVICE! It was so cool! They somehow devised something that was akin to a three-tea tasting flight, gong fu cha, and afternoon tea pastries to go along with it. My mother and I were floored. And the food, dear lord, the FOOD! So good. Mum had a salmon poke dish that she is STILL texting me about, and I went with a garlic noodle chicken dish that I'm still reflecting on. Oh yeah, the tea? We had several. Mum had a great Bi Luo Chun, and I went with a Wuyi black. For the afternoon tea flight, we went with Long Jing, Silver Needle, and Duck Shit. Yes... they have Duck Shit - freakin' legit! I can't sing the praises of this place enough. If you find yourself in the Beaverton suburbs near their downtown area, give it a whirl. You will leave tea drunk. That's a promise.

Yelp
Was so excited to finally have a tea house in Beaverton! It's cute and tiny yet modern! Tried their Genmaicha and Chrysanthemum which were both great. Would also recommend the flavorful beef skewers. The garlic noodles were alright compared to the skewers. (We went during their soft opening) They also have some other small bites available but would definitely go back for their tea selections. The vibes were dark, moody, & classy. Our server Bella was very nice, helpful, and attentive!

Yelp
We dined here on Christmas Eve, and I wasn't overly impressed when we walked in, as we got a lukewarm greeting, and after seating at our table there seemed to be a longtime before anyone returned. However, things started to improve once our order was taken, our server warmed up, and all our food was fast and efficient. There was a mistake in the sake we ordered, which was immediately rectified. The one caveat is, we dined with my elderly mother which I probably would not return with her again. Not because she didn't like the food, but because the majority of the tables only offered stools with no back. I am a lot younger than my mom, and even I was a little uncomfortable. There was a booth next to us that said "reserved", but no one showed up to claim the spot our entire dinner. I wish I would have spoken up and asked if we could sit there. I think it would have made for a much better overall experience.

Yelp
Didn't even know about it but this little place was really special. The food and tea, including presentation and service were both really wonderful.

Yelp
I love the decoration! There's various types of tea. I ordered many dishes, everything was delicious. The waitress was nice.

Yelp
Great tea selection. Nice ambiance indoors and outdoors. Not my favorite menu selection, hence the 4 stars
