I had an amazing experience at Old Chicago Pizza! I tried The Classic OC Thick Pan (Large), and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, loaded with rich flavors and generous toppings. Every bite was satisfying! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff member, Mari, was super friendly and attentive! 🍕

Google
I ordered a large pepperoni pizza thin crust and it said 25 slices. I open the box and it doesnt even fill the box and looks more like a med than a large. 25 pieces not really slices. I think the small pizza's 8 pack from Costco looks better than this and cheaper than $24 just for the pizza. It would be worth it if it was actually good. Over 1600 reviews so I think it's gotta be good right....not terrible but ok. With a name like Old Chicago you would expect better. Don't let Dave Portnoy eat here and give his opinion. The artichoke dip looked better but tasted like someone poured a bottle of salt in it. The Chicken fingers was better than everything else. If not for that it would be a 1 star. Plenty of other pizza places to try but save your money and go somewhere else.

Google
The service was wonderful!!!! It was a little warm upon arrival due to their ac being fixed but it was tolerable. My mom enjoyed her food (pizza) and our side salads were great. My chicken parm was flavorless though. I'm glad we gave them a try and I'm sure we will be back.

Google
I have to say, We Love coming to Old Chicago. The food is always great. BUT the bar tenders are awesome! Nancy is most hospitable, recommends drinks based off your likes. Ensures your food comes out timely and done to your liking. There are a lot of new establishments popping up in our growing area, but we prefer coming to Old Chicago. It's home away from home.

Google
Always a fall back pizza place for me, beer selection is great, pizzas are consistently good, and I think they updated their fried pickles since my last visit because they are amazing now. Great experience for a chain restaurant, will keep coming back!

Google
First and last time eating here. Got seated and took about an hour to get our correct order. Keep in mind this was on a Wednesday where I could count on one hand the amount of tables seated. We ordered classic sweet mango wings and were brought chicken nuggets that looked dryer than the Sahara desert. I asked for the individual sized Nashville chicken pizza with half no ranch drizzle, I was brought a full sized pizza (had to pay for it) with ranch all over. On top of that, the food tasted terrible. Had 2 slices and couldn’t force myself to take another bite. Wendy’s would’ve been better than the money I just wasted on this place. Run don’t walk away from this place.

Google
The Sicilian pizza rolls were amazing!! I had the twisted tenders. They were good. 8 of us and got a table pretty quick at 8:30 pm on a Saturday.

Google
This franchise just does not miss. They have some amazing pizzas and a great variety of beers on tap. The bartender at this location is very attentive, friendly and great at her job. Plenty of TVs for sports watching and an outdoor patio to enjoy the Texas summers on.

Kelli T.

Yelp
We came in for ugly sweater bingo and a couple of beers. They have an excellent variety of craft beers. The service was a little slow but it was pretty crowded. Our server did a good job checking on us. The spinach artichoke dip and chips was the best I've ever eaten! The large bar, numerous tables and booths offer plenty of seating.

Kou L.

Yelp
Came in on a Thursday night. It was our first time and we waited at least 5-10 mins to be seated on a non-busy night. We were unsure if we needed to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. The lady at the door seated us after taking an order for a guest. It would've been nice to be notified she'll be right with us instead of making us guess if we needed to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Other guest had the same issue as well. After waiting we placed our orders for a Chicago 7 deep dish that was surprisingly delicious and fresh. The bread was so soft and buttery. We also got the kids meal (chicken tenders and fries with a drink) that was good too. Overall, service is meh and food was good.

Yelp
We celebrated my dad's birthday here and really enjoyed Old Chicago! Our server was Antoine; he took great care of us. He went above and beyond by bringing plates and a spatula for us to use in cutting the birthday cake. I was happy to see that they offered a gluten free pizza! I liked it, along with the Chicago 7 toppings. What's funny is that my dad picked this place so he could try authentic Chicago pizza. We were told Old Chicago is a Colorado company. Lol! The pizzas (not the cauliflower) look similar to a Chicago style, just not quite as thick. This is a great restaurant to watch a game (on any of their many bar TV's) or to just belly up to the bar and get a beer. They have a zillion beers to choose from, and many are on tap.

Lance G.

Yelp
Disappointed I have to give this review since we always order our favorite pizza from old Chicago. However, the past three times we've order the chopped salad we been left disappointed with barely any greens in our salad. For a $15 salad you'd think they would include lettuce as a basic ingredient, however I end up with turkey and tomato in a box. No blue cheese no avocado... this was one of our favorite places but the quality has gone downhill, which is a shame

Kelly B.

Yelp
We ordered through DoorDash- I ordered hand tossed crust pepperoni extra cheese. The crust was awful- literally like cardboard- definitely not made fresh- tasted so bad we pitched the whole thing after we each tried a piece. Fried pickles were ok. Disappointing for sure

Justice H.

Yelp
Service wasn't great as soon as we got in the door. The host didn't speak. There was only one waitress for the whole restaurant. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it came out raw. We sent it back and waited 30 minutes. The waitress brought back HALF of the pizza, the pieces were scattered. She said the other half was raw so they'd remake the pizza. My husband went without eating. My margarita was all mix, no tequila. My daughter's broccoli and cheese was literally broccoli with a burnt piece of craft cheese on top. Biggest waste of time and money. Don't come here. Go to Parry's Taphouse down the road!

Shatonya V.

Yelp
The food was just okay we ordered a large pizza and fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were fried in old grease. The portion size was ridiculous. My waitress was slow. It took hours to get our food. After sitting for 15 mins she asked if we wanted water. I ordered a lemon drop (epic fail ) The setup is cool for a family night out or game night.

Tanya G.

Yelp
Order a classic 9 slice pizza and it was smaller than the 6 slice gluten free pizza. Not sure how a personal size pizza is a 9 slice pizza. That's not feeding 2 people.

Haley K.

Yelp
So, I'm suprised that I have not reviewed Old Chicago. We've been exploring the Allance area a bit more in the last couple of years and found Old Chicago based on a friends college age "kid" working here closer to when it opened. We've never had a bad experience staff wise here. The food, when we get it, is what you would expect from a similar chain sit down pizza focused but with mostly american faired food. The usual issue we've had is the timing of how long our items take to come out, even during slow times when we have been the only folks in the resturant. I think 3 out of 5 of our visiting here over 2-3 years, including to-go and dine in, here we've been told sorry for the delay they burned your pizza and we are making a new one. Props for fixing it vs sending out a burnt pizza ... but its common enough that they are either not training their kitchen staff well or burnt pizza is the go-to excuse for other delays to try to cover up for a different reason for a delay. So, the last two visits we've mainly only come back to use birthday coupons from being on their email list. The birthday coupon, based on the time I'm writing this, is for a free pizza up to $18. Price wise that either is way more that you need for an individual pizza with lots of toppings or barely enough for a large cheese with no toppings. We've stuck to their pizza and kids meals when we've dined in so I can't speak to other dishes prices. So, we usually call in to use the coupon and order their largest pizza with 1-2 toppings depending on mood to-go and just pay the difference. usually feeds all of us as long as I put out some salad or fruit as a side once we get it back home. Normally they keep the restaurant pretty clean, but during my last pick up visit a good number of tables needed to be bussed ... to the point I almost started bussing out of old habits of working at a restaurant back in the day. They seemed to have 3 folks on the floor when I was there; but I totally get being understaffed in this day of age. I do wish them luck; but wont be shocked if they don't make it with understaffing and rising food cost.

Kathryn Q.

Yelp
Ordered a thin crust pepperoni- was really good! There's something about their crust, it was super yummy and crispy! Love it! Pretzel sticks were ok! Nothing spectacular, but not bad. Will definitely return!

Tana W.

Yelp
Presently surprised by how much we enjoyed our pizza here. We tried the farmers daughter on regular crust and the double deckeroni deep dish. Loved the farmers daughter and the double deckeroni was as expected for a pepperoni pizza! The restaurant has a good sports bar feel and plenty of tvs for watching games. The service was just okay.

Space C.

Yelp
Nice selection of ice cold beer to pick from. Really good prices on beer and food for happy hour. The two topping pizzas and Sicilian pepperoni rolls are delicious.

Michelle J.

Yelp
We have always frequented this place but here over the years it has gone way down hill from the service to the food! We always order pizza and wings and this time time pizza was cooked through and the wings are dry as bones. The service was less than promising too! I'm not sure if it's management or what but they need to get back on the customer service wagon.

Jane L.

Yelp
Server, Bailey, made the evening perfect. She is one of the best servers we've had anywhere recently .... Efficiency, friendliness, etc. The power went out in neighboring buildings, and it was just her and one other server. It was a Monday night, and because it was so slow, the front door hostess was released to go home. But the power outage meant that people planning to eat at abc or xyz restaurants came to OC, and she handled hostess of and serving a sudden influx of patrons with such a gracious attitude. Food was good, too!!

Greg M.

Yelp
The only good part was the pasta dinner. Uber Eats order that claimed to be Leo's Italian Restaurant. What a crock. Ghost kitchen and the giveaway was user an Old Chicago bag. Only yellow hospitality personal would try to pull it off. Even harder on refund as both parties will deflect any refund to each other.

Honest C.

Yelp
Better pizza at pizza hut, domino's, or even little ceaser's. Chicken and Bacon Mac and cheese, the chicken tastes like it came from the freezer, really not an appetizing taste and the pasta is drier than the Sahara desert. The service is not good either, the food always takes about an hour to come out, whether it's busy or slow. At least the servers are good, great attitudes, smiling faces, if you let them know you didn't like your food they will do what they can to make your visit better. Unfortunately it doesn't make up for the terrible food. The restaurant is clean as well, beautiful too but of course it doesn't really matter when the food is trash.

Laura C.

Yelp
I have tried giving this location so many opportunities but the last three visits have been been so horrible I will never go back. I don't know how they are still in business. The restaurant stays filthy, service is one of the worst I've encountered. They will literally not even bother to sit you but instead let you stand there and eventually just let you leave. Don't waste your time or hard earned money here!

Pat W.

Yelp
We hadn't been here in a bit and won't be back. We like the food, but the service is worse than a fast food joint. First time back, it took about 15 minutes at least to even be acknowledged by a server. Place our appetizer order and waited. A couple came in and ordered after us, received their appetizer, just happened to be what we ordered too, yet our same server didn't even look over at us to see we hadn't received ours. We grabbed the hostess on her way by and asked to speak with the manager, wow, imagine that...our appetizer showed up with some llame excuse about table number missing. We ordered cocktail, got the first round pretty quickly, second round took forever and finally came about the time we were finished with our meal. Manager did apologize and comped the appetizer. 2 hour dinner! Fast forward, we decided to give them another try about a month later. Wow, shocking the same thing started to happen. Sitting for 10 minutes without as much as an acknowledgement and the hostess seemed inconvenienced that we walked in the door. This time we decided NOT to hang around we got up and left. Guess what?? We won't be back!

Lucia T.

Yelp
I'll never come back worst wait time for an empty place and food was not good at all. We arrived at 6:20 and sat down right away and waitress took 10 min to finally come by. This place had maybe a handful of other tables. We ordered drink and appetizer and that took 30 mins to come out and we waited another 40 for the food to come out. We didn't leave this place until 8:10. I will not recommend sand won't be back.

Rodney E T.

Yelp
Great service great pizza!! The food was served fast with good quality. We ordered the deep dish.

Steven R.

Yelp
The calzones are great! The food is great! The service and the attitudes of those I experienced tonight, I may not go back.

Inez R.

Yelp
Came here for brunch and it didn't disappoint! Their Jalapeño Margarita is pretty amazing!

Brady F.

Yelp
Really good to see you today and I hope you have a great day and I hope that you have a wonderful day and I hope to see you soon I love you so much

Jen D.

Yelp
I know this place is a bar / pizza place but omg it's noisy here. And the food isn't worth fighting the crowds for. It's super salty. too pricey for me too. Just not my place to go. Just not my cup of tea.

Lisa H.

Yelp
It's in a corner by Costco in the alliance area. Nice little set up when you walk in and we were seated immediately. Kind of set-up like a sports bar with TV's everywhere and sports playing. Our waitress came over and took our order. I believe her name was Emme? An absolute sweetheart, great at her job. My husband ordered a sweet tea and I ordered an unsweet tea. I had to send the unsweet tea back because it was very bitter and too strong even with sweet and low in it, and I just got a regular sweet tea. For a side, we ordered the mozzarella sticks. They came out and they were six to an order. They came with the marinara sauce, and the marinara sauce was really really good. The Mozzarella sticks were kind of little and skimpy, but they were good for what they were. We ordered a deep dish Chicago 7 Pizza. That comes with pepperoni, mushrooms, almost like a supreme. I guess you can say. The pizza was really good. I would've liked more sauce for my own personal preference. The crust was pretty good too. We ordered a medium that came with 6 slices. I only ate 1/2 a piece and my husband ate one and a half pieces. It is very very filling. The bill was about 40 bucks, so reasonable I think. We do want to come back because the hubby wants to try the pepperoni pizza and wings. Overall a really good experience.

Judson A.

Yelp
This is what $8 gets you. 'Jalapeño Pretzel Bites, which were not good. $16 for this baby pizza. it was ok

Donald D.

Yelp
Delicious food for sure, Meegan the bartender is so attentive and pleasant. Great beer with great staff.

Linda L.

Yelp
Me and the fambam were running late night errands and wanted a quick bite to eat. Upon searching Yelp reviews in the area (wink, wink), I found that this place does a late night happy hour menu, score!! We arrived around 9:30 pm (which the website stated that the late night happy hour started at 9 pm). After ordering all of the goodies, the waiter came back and told us that the food part didn't start until 10 pm and it was only the drinks that started at 9 pm. But he said he would just put it in at 10. Okie dokie! We ordered the Parmesan fries, onion rings, a sausage AND a pepperoni pizza, plus a burger and wings. I mean...gotta try it all right? Everything was what it should be; crunchy onion rings, crispy fries, great wings, and normal burger. I was disappointed in the pizza because every other Old Chicago I've ever been to would serve the personal deep dish pizzas in a nice cast iron pan that would crust up the dough. The pizza was good, just different from the others.. Either way, great little late night spot for a quick bite and Junior, our waiter, was fantastic and represented the company well. Shall return!!

Cait L.

Yelp
Loved the food!! The atmosphere was chill like a sports bar. We had good service. Our waitress was attentive and helpful.

Bill C.

Yelp
Great Chicago 7 deep dish and service was great! Was seated and waited on by great staff and the Spinach dip is amazing.

Lily L.

Yelp
Love the opening hours. Wait time is a little long. Staff was friendly, when we had a problem with our salad, the manager came out to speak with us directly and was very helpful. Food was great, especially with the salad. Both times trying the detroit style deepdish, did not disappoint! I wish I had time to go back for a third time to try more.

John C.

Yelp
We go here quite often, never had this problem before. We normally get the meat me pizza and so we ordered it again. When the server brought it out it didn't look like it normally does and the girl said yeah they ran out of the sausage. I asked when paying do we not get a price break sense we didn't get what we ordered? She said sorry, and I asked well if someone orders a sausage pizza when your out do you just bring out a cheese pizza. You didn't tell us before that you didn't have some, you didn't sub something else, nothing. Not the best way to bring people back.

Marianne N.

Yelp
Friday night is my family pizza dinner night of the week the kids love. We decided to try this place and it was pretty good to be honest. I want to rate 3 for mixed reasons but nothing specific. Nothing was mind blowing but nothing was terrible either. Our waiter forgot to bring my salad but service was otherwise good especially given there we're quite a bit of people. We got two appetizers -along with four individual pizzas and 2 kid pizza and ended with a large cookie finale. The pretzels were a bit salty and I love salt (however my husband is giving me a hard time saying pretzels are salty) but the jalapeño pretzel bites were great they sadly didn't give enough. The photo was from the start! The Veggie 7 was really good, the farmers daughter was a bit undercooked and the pesto/balsamic were not evenly laid across it. We got the Italian grinder and my husband thought it was great, it was loaded up for sure. The other one we got was Shroom/meatball one and it was undercooked (or maybe I just don't like that Detroit style?) and I'm sorry, if anything disappointed that was it. The large cookie was good but a bit over cooked. Overall we could be back, not top of the list but now something known...

Rodney W.

Yelp
It's Sunday National PI day but not at Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom. I was disappointed they declined the buy on get one half coupon that was sent to me from the same restaurant stating it's online only. the only problem the coupon did not state online only. I'm a Chicagoan that bleeds orange and blue but I was little boy pizza blue when I was told no National PI love for you sir. Back to review location great inside sports bar. Service friendly and attentive. I would come back just National PI Day disappointed

Js K.

Yelp
worst food . not worth the money. Cheese garlic bread was the worst. Please don't waste your money.

Jeni B.

Yelp
This is our favorite "go to" pizza in Keller/Ft. Worth area. The servers always make perfect suggestions and we have yet to have anything but a positive experience here whether we are at a table (family) or at the bar (couple). Our boys love the pizza as much as we do. The servers are friendly and the restaurant is clean. Heading there soon ;)

Zwindi B.

Yelp
On Sunday football Good selection beer and good service Pizza was really good and fast service Fried pickles were good A lots tvs to watch games and big bar Ask for server Nicole

Michael C.

Yelp
Food was great, service was great, and Patio was great. My wife got the farmers daughter pizza and I got the meat pizza. Both were really good!

Cassina C.

Yelp
Food is not that great but the location is great to watch football. Menu has changed so I will visit again to check it out.

Melissa F.

Yelp
Brought the family for dinner tonight, and although the food was okay, it took forever to get our food! Okay, not actually forever, but about 40 mins which is a long time to sit with hungry kids. The service was lackluster and that's the best I can come up with. When we finally got our food, the Mac n cheese looked like it had been sitting for a bit, maybe under a warmer, while they over-baked our pizzas. The celery has seen better days. I would say a tad bit pricy for lackluster service and over-baked pizza. With all the competition around here, y'all need to step up your game.

Ally D.

Yelp
We usually go here around 3 pm, so I'm not sure what it's like when it's crowded during dinner time. I can say that I've always gotten great service, and never had to wait long for anything. The beer selection is delightful - a nice mix, something for everyone, with lots of Texas selections. I'm always down to try a few new beers, and the staff is great about recommending stuff and letting you taste beer samples. The pizza we get is always great - I usually go for a Margherita-style pizza, and am joined by folks who get a wide range, including Chicago style. I've never had a bite of something I didn't like. Some people think the food is too salty, and I definitely thinks it gets close to that sometimes, which is a bummer, since the food tastes good already without all the extra salt. Because of when we go in, we seem to always lose our server about halfway through our meal and so we always choose to close our check with the first server (so they'll get their tip) and then re-open with the new person (when we want to order another beer or something). It always seems like one of the two servers gets shortened by this, and they're always uncomfortable asking us to close early. I wish there was a solution for this that didn't make it so tough for everyone to navigate, but still resulted in everyone getting a fair tip. Great service and good food here - just don't come here looking for anything healthy!

Aj E.

Yelp
The food here is decently good depending on what you get but the service is god awful . I was waiting at my booth for like 10-15 mins to just get a drink and the place was empty literally. When I looked at the waitress she was on her phone not a care in the world . They really let there employees do anything but actually work lol

Beighlie O.

Yelp
To start, the food is just "eh". Not terrible, but definitely "I'm only eating this because it's late and I don't want to wait to make or get other food". So, two stars because it's edible. But it's very much overpriced Pizza Hut on all accounts. I mean, it's not deep dish pizza at all. It's pan pizza. Extra thick crust with the normal amount of pizza toppings. Actual Chicagoans are somewhere weeping at the sin of calling this deep dish. The pizza toppings aren't even close to stand out (the "andouille sausage" tastes the way dog food smells, and even my dog wouldn't eat it). To round out the unfortunate experience, we waited more than an hour for our order because the bartender simply *forgot* to bother putting our order in, then didn't bother telling us until AFTER we received it that they were out of bone-in wings, so he decided to just give us boneless without bothering to ask if that was okay. Like, seriously? Are they paying for the good reviews? We won't be back (or saving the leftovers), and I highly recommend everyone else steers clear of this place.

Mary H.

Yelp
Stopped here after grandsons bball game. Glad we did. LOVED the atmosphere, everyone was having a great time. They were playing bingo and singing to some of the songs, lots of laughter. Has more of a neighborhood sports bar feel to it than an Italian/pizzeria feel. Started off with the deep fried Mac and cheese starter, was really good. Then a Chicago style pizza, yumm. And ended with the brownie bites. Crispy on all sides and gooey in the middle, have no complaints at all with the food. Our waitress Eileen was friendly and just a great server! Overall we will definitely be back, could be our new go to place. Stopped again last night and again the service was fantastic, the food was delicious! From the pepperoni pinwheels to the burgers... delicious!

Neddie F.

Yelp
My wife and I are originally from Northwest Indiana, about 45 minutes from downtown Chicago. So we've been searching for a place out here that has authentic Chicago style pizza. So we came here ordered a meal and ordered their Chicago classic pizza to take home. It wasn't anything like getting a pie from Giordiano's, but with that said, it was still pretty good. The atmosphere was nice and the service was friendly. You could see that there were regular patrons at the bar and the seating area for dining was adequate. We were pleased with the food, but will continue our search for an authentic Chicago style pizza. We haven't tried too many places yet. But, this place was still great.

Jessica P.

Yelp
Really good pizza and good environment. They were out of many beers my husband tried to order. Okay service.

C S.

Yelp
Went in the middle of the week and the restaurant was almost empty. At least 3 servers walking around but not paying much attention to their one table each. Manager didn't seem to care except to look up from her phone to say, "have a good night" as we walked out. The food looked and tasted like it was just heated up in a microwave. Both of us started feeling extremely nauseous as we left. Will not be returning.

scot o.

Yelp
So ding dong good! Great burger. Yummy looking pizzas. I have it in front of me. I'm still here. Great bar man Izaiah. He really helped out with specials and recommendations. Owners please give this man a raise. They had WiFi which I needed. Good vibe. Good music. Cool outside bar. Great beer and a dope hazy ipa. Best I've had. Go here. Tip a lot and come out "satisfied and smiling". Best. -s-

Ginny B.

Yelp
Excellent food. Manager was on point with customer service! Very personable and sincere! The Brit had fish and chips - he said it was crisp and everything was delish including the slaw. I had an individual pizza, very good.
