The old courthouse theater is a great way to see a play. I enjoy seeing a live performance and the actors are always good. I’ve never had a bad experience there. The new season is starting and I am looking forward to seeing more great plays.

The Old Courthouse Theatre is a historic gem! The shows here are fantastic and the love that goes into the productions is clear. Everyone from the president to the board members pour their hearts into this theatre to make sure anyone coming to see a show will leave with a smile on their face.

Came here 3-20-25 to see Dorothy in Wonderland. It was an absolutely wonderful show. Toto and Lion stole the show. The theatre itself is cute and feels very comfortable. Snacks and drinks were available at decent prices. The staff were extremely friendly. Definitely planning on going back!

This was an amazing experience for the money! The staff was friendly and helpful. The ticket prices were very affordable. The concessions were very reasonable. We saw Dorothy in Wonderland on opening night. The children were fantastic! The story was cute, and the kids made it even more so. The five stars are more than deserved!

A great place to take the gang for some great family entertainment. It's a nice local theatre nestled in downtown Concord. They have theatre performances all year long. We just saw an entertaining magic show, called the "Simply Southern Magic Show". It was a great family fun!

Yelp
Community theatre is the heart of downtown Concord is full of charm, local talent and so much fun! I have attended quite a few plays, but this time we took in "A Time to Kill" and it was a delight! The quaint theatre boasts beautiful stained glass windows and comfy seats and the cozy community theatre vibe where no seat in the house is a bad one. We were on the front row center this time and loved it! The actors in this production were spot on and I loved the OCT adaption of the book/movie. The comedic moments had us laughing, but the serious moments were quite powerful in this intimate setting, and even though I knew the story, found myself leaning towards the stage waiting to see what was next! Visit the website for upcoming plays and patronize this precious hometown gem, you won't be disappointed! There is local artwork for sale in the lobby and light refreshments offered as well for reasonable prices. For every play I've attended at least part of the cast is mingling with the patrons following the play and I just adore that! So fun to chat with them and share your thoughts about that night's production. I can't wait to go back soon...seriously - check it out! It's not fancy but full of charm, not pricey but well worth the ticket price and not broadway, but an awesome way to spend a couple of hours and support local actors and musicians - what more can you ask for?
