Community theatre is the heart of downtown Concord is full of charm, local talent and so much fun! I have attended quite a few plays, but this time we took in "A Time to Kill" and it was a delight!
The quaint theatre boasts beautiful stained glass windows and comfy seats and the cozy community theatre vibe where no seat in the house is a bad one. We were on the front row center this time and loved it! The actors in this production were spot on and I loved the OCT adaption of the book/movie. The comedic moments had us laughing, but the serious moments were quite powerful in this intimate setting, and even though I knew the story, found myself leaning towards the stage waiting to see what was next!
Visit the website for upcoming plays and patronize this precious hometown gem, you won't be disappointed! There is local artwork for sale in the lobby and light refreshments offered as well for reasonable prices.
For every play I've attended at least part of the cast is mingling with the patrons following the play and I just adore that! So fun to chat with them and share your thoughts about that night's production.
I can't wait to go back soon...seriously - check it out! It's not fancy but full of charm, not pricey but well worth the ticket price and not broadway, but an awesome way to spend a couple of hours and support local actors and musicians - what more can you ask for?
