Texas Corn Dog Stand Fletcher’s Is Opening at UT Austin Football Games | Eater Austin

"A new Cedar Creek food truck that opened Aug. 9 at 142 Northside Lane emphasizes local sourcing and organic ingredients; the menu features breakfast tacos with brisket, smoked queso, beef chorizo, eggs, and nopales, plus house-made juices, aguas frescas, coffee, and teas. It also serves beer, wine, birria, and barbacoa empanadas on Fridays through Sundays and is hosting a grand opening party on Aug. 30 with live music and an outdoor stage." - Nadia Chaudhury

My partner and i have been here twice and it never disappoints. Prices are good, food is excellent quality and it's clear that a lot of thought went into the menu items. Great mocha latte, as well. Lots of gluten free items (all tacos are served on fresh made corn tortillas, chips are made fresh as well). I highly recommend the brisket nachos. We'll be back!!!

We heard about this place from a friend and after looking them up I couldn’t get the photos of their food out of my head. There aren’t very many organic high quality food options out this way so we had to try them out. It was a bit of a drive out to their location, but once we got there we fell in love. The location is beautiful; you can immediately tell a ton of love went into building this place. I thought it was really cool that they built the stage attached to a tree and even cut out a section of floor to avoid cutting another tree down. The owner was also super nice and personally checked on us multiple times. We basically ordered one of everything and it was all excellent! Very flavorful and clearly high quality ingredients. Tacos & empanadas were awesome, the juice was great, fried pickles were yummy, and the kids absolutely loved the beignets! Definitely give this place a try and then tell your friends!

An incredible dining experience at Old Coyote Cafe! The food was hands-down some of the best I've ever had. What truly sets them apart is their commitment to serving only the freshest, farm-to-table ingredients. You can really taste the difference - every bite is packed with flavor and love. The quality of the dishes is top-notch, and the care that goes into preparing each meal is evident. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a romantic evening. If you're a foodie like me, or just looking for a great meal, do yourself a favor and get to Old Coyote Cafe ASAP. You’ll love it!

Google
So many problems with this place and price point. There are good ingredients but the price and atmosphere is totally out of place. Two poots of salsa with two large tacos ($17). Absolutely awful bottom tier diner coffee ($4 12oz). The "veggie medley" El Jardin was diced unseasoned sweet potatoes and pickled onions from the dinner bbq with a stem of cilantro (unplucked, my picture is after I plucked it myself). The worst napkins you can possibly offer and using a recycle bin for all trash. But it has a stage and they serve sangria!! (Was $12 now $13 lol) Only open 3.5 days a week in an area where Sunday is super busy for breakfast and food trucks and out of avocados before noon on Sunday with no communication. I don't think this place has been open for hardly a month yet and there seemed to be no owner-operator onsite with only one new unfamiliar employee that spoke zero English nor seemed to understand their own small menu. I've never asked for my money back but after a few sips of atrocious coffee and realizing both my tacos were missing avocado, I tried here without success. From a self employed entrepreneur, this place has "don't need the money or business this is our trust funded working class passion project" cosplay written all over it.

The quality of food for the pricing is unmatched anywhere nowadays! I highly recommend you try this place! My wife and I are the type of people who don’t eat certain places due to the ingredients. I was very surprised to find a place that was cautious of that as well. I actually crave going back and wish I was down the road…

Visited from California and just had to try this farm to table concept. I was pretty bummed i didn’t get to try their empanadas. Apparently it sells out every morning. I had EL Coyote Viejo and smoked watermelon drink. Refreshing and delish! Will be back on my next visit.

The Sangria is so good and best enjoyed with the amazing sunset sky. You can taste the ingredients are natural and fresh. We had the empanadas and pobre chico with our drinks and they were delicious. The salsa is ssoooo good they should sell it by the gallons 😋. This is not traditional food but instead an elevated re-mix so the price point is reasonable for fresh ingredients.

Yelp
So I have been following them on Instagram for six + months and I really love the idea of no seed oils, farm to market fresh ingredients, and was really excited to give them a try. My husband and I decided to go out for breakfast on a Saturday AM at around 10. We were the only ones there and when we walked up the employee told us they were out of juices which was a little disappointing since a part of their marketing/menu focused on juices. We ordered the El Classico taco and The Outlaw with 2 lattes. (With 20% tip it came to $34) He told us it would be about 10/15 minutes - no problem. Tacos were ready and 1 latte, he said the other latte would be a little longer bc the machine was having issues. To say that we were underwhelmed with how "full" the tacos were for the price would be an understatement (see photos). About 5 minutes later, he told me that the machine was broken and they need to get fixed. I asked for my money back- he said he had to wait for the manager to come to do that and it would be another 10 minutes. We left without a refund because at that point, I wasn't going to wait around longer for a $6 refund. The tacos did have wonderful flavor but the portions for the price is disappointing. I have no problem spending money for good quality food but $10 and $7 for practically a street taco is a little steep IMO. We may return to try lunch/dinner but not sure if it's worth the drive for the price.

Yelp
Should have read the google reviews. Bland and overpriced. You're already half way to Austin. Do yourself a favor and Just keep driving.

Yelp
Stopped in to try out the new food truck. Checked out the broad menu. They had multiple menus ,wasn't sure where to look. That didn't really matter after I tried to order . No one spoke any English to take my order or answer questions. I had to talk into the persons phone to translate my order . I wanted to order multiple items and try "freshly squeezed drinks" but it was just an odd scenario and uncomfortable. The staff member only knew how to say no. I was finally able to order 2x empanadas and a coke only after pointing at it . Paid $19 . I was surprised that there was zero taste off the food . Not bad or good just no taste . $15 for 2 empanadas .... Won't be making that mistake again. I took a bite and my wife tried it also, my dogs finished the rest . To their benefit the salsa was good . I'm happy to spend plenty of money on great food , and support a local business. However this was a complete let down Glad I didn't order anymore food as I originally intended too.

Yelp
I was super stoked to see this place open, as there are so few places to eat near me. I've watched it evolve in grow since they first opened in September and have enjoyed most things on the menu on my semi-weekly visits except the empanadas, which are usually out when I go in the afternoons. Looking forward to trying them. El Bandito and Jardin are my mainstays for healthy eatin'. Love that they have a stage set up, look forward to hanging out more.

Yelp
Farm to table organic food done right. I had a brisket taco with smoked cheese and amazing salsa, with a fresh house made sangria to wash it down. Can't wait to go back and try something else!

Yelp
My sister and I had a latte each. The coffee was smooth and they had just the right amount of flavor from the syrup. The beignets were delicious!

Yelp
What a treasure! Super fresh and tasty food. Empanadas and Okra were fried but not greasy at all. Super friendly folks! Wish I lived closer, but I'll go out of my way to return.

Yelp
Driving through the beautiful Austin countryside and found this diamond in the rough . Farm to table All of their barbecue is grass fed and comes from a Ranch down the street . All of their juices are cold press and come from their farm . Service was amazing

Yelp
FANTASTIC FOOD! It's nice to have something of quality out here in the rural country of Cedar Creek! It's new, so probably still working out the kinks, but definitely worth the drive!! WE WILL BE BACK!

Yelp
Super cute, rustic, European vibes cafe nestled in the heart of Cedar Creek just 7 minutes from COTA! I was a little hungry so I ordered the brisket empanadas, el viejo taco and an iced latte (and an Eleanor tea to have for later). 10 out of 10 would recommend! It only took about 8 minutes to receive these items as well. Really caring folks and very personable. They have a stage for live music - so I can't wait to see what they have on their calendar so I can go back for that too!

Shelbie V.

Yelp
Amazing food and drinks, love the live music. Owners and all workers are so kind! Family friendl.
