Google
Great place to lounge and mingle with friends and family after a Cubs game! Plenty of seating for all group sizes. This bar has l both a rooftop and main area with several places to order at. The food and drinks are tasty and refreshing. Some of my favorite items on the drink menu are the blackberry crow and the spiced apple crow.

Google
County flare, noisy without being too loud, and tons of seating. BBQ was good, the brisket we got was phenomenal and the service was very fast. Prices fair for the area and portions were great. Most of the menu is sharable if you want to get a little bit of everything as a group.

Google
One of my favorite spots in Wrigleyville to hang with friends, mingle, enjoy drinks, and live music! Perfect place to start off if you’re bar hopping, plus get those IG pics goin! You’ll even want to come back to end the night here.

We had the BEST time at Old Crow in Wrigley—huge thanks to our server, Gabby, who was absolutely phenomenal! Even with the bar packed during the Sox game, she kept our table well taken care of and hydrated (which is no small feat in that crowd). Super friendly, fast, and on top of everything. Gabby made our game day experience even better—we’ll definitely be back!

Google
We spent a fantastic amount of time here, kicking things off by watching the Eagles game—Fly Eagles Fly!—while enjoying some delicious food and drinks. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the irresistible aroma of BBQ. After the game, we were treated to an incredible live performance by band, Jayson Arendt. Our group had an amazing time, and the experience just kept getting better!

Went here on 6/1/25 to eat before heading to Wrigley for a game. Arrived about 2 hours prior to the game and was seated immediately on the rooftop. Great weather and atmosphere and excellent service! Katrina was super friendly, helpful with the menu and just great all around. Would go back again when I'm in the area.

Google
Great service, Katrina was the best server i’ve ever had in my life! She even let me charge my phone behind the bar. She deserves a raise! Only thing was the pretzel, not very giant…

Google
The food, drinks, and vibe of the bar were great, but the night was ruined by a greedy waitress. After paying the bill and leaving a tip, the waitress had the audacity to come back to our table upset because we didn't leave a larger tip. The tip I left was very adequate, especially considering that the restaurant automatically adds a 3% fee on top of the bill (which I didn't even know about until afterwards). Being hounded by a waitress for a larger tip left a sour taste, so I won't be back to this bar.

Yelp
First time in Chicago, our coaching staff enjoyed a fantastic experience at Old Crow Smokehouse. Of the half dozen restaurants, we visited during our time in the city, this was without question our favorite. Open concept, big screens for the games, authentic BBQ, and high energy - over the top country covers come later hours. Note: The Homie only knew 60% of the words, but vibes were off the charts. Of everything though, the best part was our waitress Katrina who was absolute dynamite. Top notch in every way. Solid banter (Needed for Boston guys), remarkable service, and contagious smile. 14/10 recommend! Make sure to get the mac & cheese brisket sandwich and ask for Katrina!

Yelp
Great drinks, great fries, great vibes! Blueberry Crow was on the sweeter side, good amount of alcohol, exactly like how I like it! Fries really crispy, came with yum yum sauce.

Yelp
Old Crow Smokehouse is one of the best places for just about anything. The food is amazing, specifically their chicken sandwich, fries, and sliders! The staff from servers to bouncers are well trained and amazing at what they do. Whether you're there to eat and watch a game during the day, or kicking back some drinks at night, Old Crow is the place to be!

Yelp
Maddie our server was AMAZING. She was welcoming and serviced our party of 5 with personal touch. The drinks were awesome and her food recommendations were on point! I highly recommended this spot near Wrigley and again, Maddie was awesome!

Yelp
old crow is one of the Big Spots in wrigleyville and it's definitely a good time. The strawberry hoedown drink was rlly good! i would definitely get it again. one of my friends got the drink with blackberries and that one was also good. rly refreshing. i found it unique that most of the drinks have moonshine in them. in wrigley i struggle to sometimes find drinks that aren't unbearably strong because the whole point is kinda just to bar hop around this street and get super wasted but i liked that their drinks are actually enjoyable lol. ive never eaten here and was surprised by how good the food actually was. i got the brisket sliders - the brisket was delicious but i wish there was more coleslaw in them. the fries were pretty great and they give a TON. this is a good place to come and watch a game and hang with friends! good service too. I'd definitely recommend coming here and potentially making it your first stop if you're planning on bar hopping and need to get some food in you first.

Yelp
Old Crow is a staple in the Wrigleyville neighborhood in Chicago. I've been coming here for years and it's usually a pretty good time! Old Crow is always part of all the bar crawls, all the events, all the holiday fun stuff, etc. This place is BIG - it has a huge base level that's split into two with an upstairs rooftop / patio. I've seldom been here where it isn't packed - for such a big space, it gets crowded really fast especially on weekends and game days. They surprisingly have good food for a bar that isn't usually used for a dinner place necessarily. They have super yummy nachos and BBQ options. I also love their signature cocktails which are served in a mason jar. I much rather order those than a simple drink here. Sometimes the pricing is a little whack - for a simple vodka cranberry it's $11, and for a vodka Red Bull it's $15. For the same price I can get a nice signature cocktail at other bars. The upstairs is a fun space in the summer when it's nice. There's tables and lounges (I think you have to pay to reserve/sit at the lounges but I could be wrong). Old Crow always goes hard for holidays - it's completely decked out currently for the holidays and it looks awesome! I'm not a big fan of Wrigleyville in general, but Old Crow is a good bar. It brings in a young crowd, has good signature drinks, and is spacious even though it usually gets incredibly busy. I'd recommend it for a stop in your night for a drink!

Yelp
Yum!!!! Great bar snacks & really fun place as long as you beat the crowd from wrigley after a cubs game ends. Always has good music & even when there is a live band!

Yelp
This review reflects only the food, not the service; the service was solid. The food is simply not good. I've had my fair share of nachos and wings, and this place doesn't measure up. The concept of brisket nachos is great, but if you're just going to slap it on as a garnish, what's the point? I wouldn't mind the brisket itself, but the nachos tasted as if they were coated in sea salt. If you want to find a fairly unseasoned chip, you have to dig through refried beans (at least, I think that's what it is) and taco meat sauce. This dish had the potential to be great but fell short-- real short. Now, let's talk about the chicken wings. I'm here for smoked wings, so I asked about the sauces and chose a honey-something flavor. When I received the wings, they looked lightly fried, with a solid crisp on the skin. However, once I bit into them, I noticed the chicken was slightly undercooked, as if they were taken out of the "fryer" too early. All in all, skip it if you can. Oh, the Bud Light was great.

Yelp
I LOVE OLD CROW. This is one of my all time favorite bars I Chicago, especially for football (go buckeyes). Anyways, they had some changes in the kitchen not too long ago (I believe a new chef) & the quality has gone down TREMENDOUSLY. I ordered the mini smash burgers and came out on these dusty, cold buns with cheese barely melted on served with fries that tasted like they've been sitting out for days. Terrible. I hate to say nothing about it was good, but I'd be lying if not. Please bring back the OG seasoning for the French fries on top of everything else. Anyways still would 10/10 recommend coming to this place but maybe just for the vibes not the food

Yelp
We have never had a bad time here. The food is always amazing, the service is always great, the beer is always cold! What else do you need. Usually have some good live music on their stage, I'm not even the biggest country fan but they do a good job making it fun. Rooftop in the warms months and a great location down the street from Wrigley. Always recommend my out of town people to check it out!

Yelp
Bbq and beers make good for a pregame slugfest at Wrigley. Lilly took excellent care of us and got us in and out so we wouldn't miss the game. She was manning twelve tables, during a crowded per game. It was maybe a lot, but she took care of us like a champ. The fries were good as a side and I was impressed with the pit sandwich. It was plenty of sandwich that paired well with that Goose Green Line. My brother thought his Nashville chicken sandwich was pretty good too. It was flavorful and not overbreaded. It would be a good place to go for a quick bite, and certainly up for consideration for a pre/post game celebrations. The environment was very busy. It was casually loud and plenty of folks were in Cubs and Sox gear for the Crosstown Series.

Yelp
A casual but cute hangout place with good BBQ. It's great for a night out with awesome live music (usually country)! Honestly, I though the drinks were average, but it makes up for it with a lively ambiance. The high ceiling and extra space inside is the best part. Never too stuffy! - AT

Yelp
We went here for an NFL game . The food was amazing. Great drink specials. And our server Katrina was so. Much. Fun!!!!! Ask for Katrina's table if you go in.

Lisa V.

Yelp
Update. The GM contacted us regarding the situation. He was understanding and ended up comping our meal. Sidenote...before any of this happened, we had the wings. They were REALLY GOOD.
google avatar

Katia S.

Yelp
Don't understand the bad reviews. The atmosphere is amazing here, lots of space - plus live music. Came on Sunday afternoon for a game, and couldn't ask for more - speedy and accommodating service, large screens, enclosed patio and amazing music. Go to place from now on.

Yelp
We visited twice while in Wrigleyville! The Brisket Mac & Cheese sandwich was delicious and the fried pickles with Brisket sliders was amazing too. Both of our waitresses were super friendly and we were treated to great service. A definite recommendation!
google avatar

Erika G.

Yelp
Wanted to watch some World Cup soccer after visiting another shop a few doors up. Popped in here! Nice big TV, good crowd. The Bloody Marys were definitely tasty. That's where it ended. Ordered the Breakfast Burger, and it was possibly the greasiest thing I've ever eaten. Bleagh. Our server was friendly, but somewhat inattentive. Oh, Wrigleyville - you never fail to disappoint.

Yelp
Five stars for the gigantic horse and amazing brisket but three stars for Mad Moonshine drink. I would recommend the black moonshine drink!
google avatar

Yelp
Had a great time on the roof. Katrina was the best! Great atmosphere for a cubs pregame.
google avatar

Amelia B.

Yelp
Went here before a concert for drinks and food! Loved the rooftop and quick service, as well as the many food options. Was filling to share with 2 other friends. This is a good stop if you're looking for a country themed bar with great barbecue.

Yelp
I loved my first visit to Old Crow! It's a classic outdoor Wrigleyville bar with fun Nashville-esque vibes. I loved their giant screen to watch the Cubs game on! It was a busy game day, but we were still able to scout out a table to sit at & it was relatively easy to get ahold of the bartender. Food and drinks were out quick! I got a Topo Chico Hard Seltzer and I loved that they had them in glass bottles. My friends from the area swore by them having great chicken tenders - and I was definitely skeptical, but I was proven wrong. They were amazing - and not like any other bar chicken tender! They had a corn-flake like breading and nice pieces of chicken. Definitely enough to share with another person (the picture attached is part-way through chowing down on them!). The fries had a sweet bbq rub that I didn't mind, and the meal also came with a side of ranch. Overall, I'll definitely be back next time in town - and want to try some more of their food!

Yelp
The crowd this bar attracts is terrifying. It's all young adults that probably went to a state school in the Midwest and moved to chicago to work in insurance or something. Not a fun place to be under the influence. Also, we got there when there were still servers taking orders, and no one came up to us to take our order. We ended up leaving because the vibes were bad. Three stars because the last time I went to Old Crow, they made me a crazy strong Long Island and there was live music. Fun place to stop by at like midnight after getting drunk somewhere else. Not a fun place to hang out.
google avatar

Tinisha B.

Yelp
Had a great time on Halloween. Found this place on Eventbrite while looking around for something spooky to do for the coolest holiday on the calendar. For $10 (early bird rate), the organizers managed to arrange a buffet and 2 complimentary drinks for such a low cost. The place was spacious the staff was awesome and the TVs screens and music really set the mood. With high top and table seating options were plentiful, the bar cocktails were nice a boozy to complement the night. Sweet place to checkout if looking to hang with friends or go on a casual date.

Yelp
These two bartenders made my buddys bachelor party the best! Kylie and Erin made us killer drinks and delivered lots of laughs! Overall great time

Yelp
Great food, especially the wings!!! Fun place to hang out during our Christmas bar crawl. The specialty drinks were great and so was the music.

Basil E.

Yelp
Went with a couple friends during a cubs home game. We got there pretty early, and had 7 more people coming within 15 minutes. We went to sit on the roof on one of the couches, and the waitress told us we couldn't sit there because we needed 6+ people. I told her 7 more were coming in 10 minutes, and she said we needed to be there now because postgame was about to happen. It was the sixth inning. Waitress couldn't wait ten minutes for more people to come because "postgame was about to happen." In the sixth inning. Also, drinks are awful and terribly overpriced. Asked for an old fashioned (not that kind of place, but still) and got the worst mixed drink I've had since college in a plastic cup. $15. Go to Sluggers for entertainment or Bamboo Club for good drinks and atmosphere instead. Skip this place. There's far better in Wrigleyville.
google avatar

Joel S.

Yelp
Food was horrible. Service was worst then a subway sandwich joint. Bathroom was like a Kmart. Shameful

Joey B.

Yelp
Great food! Good drink selection. Fantastic environment to watch a game... in spite of all the Ohio state garbage on the walls... Montana is an amazing server!

Elijah Z.

Yelp
We always come here before the games. Always great, the food, staff, and atmosphere. Montana was very nice, helpful, and a great server.
google avatar

Eric O.

Yelp
Great Bar but Beatoff prices. $57 Bones for a bucket this is a overall 6/10 Beatoff establishment.
google avatar

Janet S.

Yelp
What a fun place to pregame before the Cubs game. We were among the first to arrive before a Friday afternoon game. Nice selection of bar food along with numerous beers. We shared a huge pretzel, chicken quesadilla, chicken strips and fries and some jerk chicken. You can definitely tell the chicken is smoked, very flavorful. Our server was very attentive and checked on us regularly. Hanging out on the rooftop with fans blowing was the best
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
I wasn't expecting to enjoy my food here as much as I did!! The chicken tenders were crispy, and delicious. I've been here a few times for drinks but never food and I was pleasantly surprised! VIBE: Very busy during the day on the weekends, especially when there is a cubs game. Expect to wait in line to get in. They have an indoor section as well as a rooftop which is great for nice days! DRINKS: Not crazy overpriced, but expect to pay around $13 for a mixed drink/cocktail.

Nicholas F.

Yelp
This place stinks! Bad bar service, bad d.j., BAD VIBES. The "French toast" was bland and dry. We felt bamboozled by the whole ordeal. AND they forced us to listen to their trash music. A meal is only made worse when I have to hear Maroon 5. The only upside was the Topo Chico promotion team who gave me a cool bandanna. Please do yourself a favor and avoid the Old Crow Smokehouse at all costs.

Julie C.

Yelp
Gabby is incredible. Great service rain or shine. Attentive, personable, and all around a good time.

Yelp
Meh. Old Crow turned out to be a dud. I was excited to try OCS after seeing the menu and reading a few reviews. I met a couple of friends there for lunch on a sunny Saturday afternoon. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately by the hostess, but that's where the good customer service ended. Our waitress was non-existent during the entire visit. She came to take our order, but after that I had to track down other employees to order some fries and to get the check. The ketchup bottle on the table was empty and since our waitress basically disappeared I had to grab the bottle from other table halfway through the meal. We tipped her $10, but she honestly didn't even deserve that. The service was horrendous and the food was only slightly better. My friend ordered the chopped salad which she enjoyed. The portion size was generous and she said the chicken was good. My sister and I shared the combo meal which came with baby back ribs, two sides and two meats. We picked the pulled pork and pulled chicken along with corn bread and baked beans. I didn't have any of the pulled chicken, but my sister said it wasn't that good. It didn't look very good to me so that's why I didn't bother even trying it. The pulled pork was good though and so were the ribs. We both agreed that those two meats were the best part of the meal. The corn bread was okay as were the baked beans. I prefer sweet corn bread and it definitely wasn't sweet, but it grew on me with every bite. The baked beans were also on the sweeter side and were decent. Overall, the food was okay... Nothing about it makes me want to return anytime soon. Add the fact that the service was poor and you've got a no-win situation for the restaurant. Especially when there are a plethora of options in the immediate vicinity. Also, there was a singer performing during our visit. I know he was there to add to the ambiance, but after awhile we found him annoying. It was hard for us to hear each other talk while he was singing. The volume on the mic could maybe be turned down just a tad. The restaurant had a nice vibe though. It was spacious and all the employees were really good about helping each other out without hesitation which was good. Our bill was about $60 which is pretty average for current the economic climate.

Aftin J.

Yelp
Needed a quick stop before the game and we liked the look of this spot. They only had cans or bottles upstairs which was a bummer as I prefer tap. Got the nachos, tasty. Service was fair for how busy it was, but it felt near impossible to get napkins.

Ry S.

Yelp
I love old crow and our server nadia was f***ing awesome! Super cool and knowledgeable on what kind of beers were on draft. Food was awesome, took our waitress's recommendation on the burnt ends and they did it's job! Got drunk and had fun!

Beckett B.

Yelp
It is amazing service and great food. It also has great Dr Pepper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ni A O.

Yelp
Dined in tonight with a few friends. The brisket nachos were amazing, and the environment is so great here. Melissa was our server and we all had such a great time! We will be back!!
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
Some of the best nachos I've had in Chicago! Such a fun place to go to listen to live country music and get some good snacks. They are constantly busy which is always a good sign, but you may need to prepare to be patient since the crowds may cause slower service.
google avatar

Yolanda ..

Yelp
Typical bar food. Great atmosphere for watching the Browns game. The server was nice and service was what to be expected on a game day. I had the chicken quesadilla and chicken tenders. Fries were not good at all!
google avatar

Hannah H.

Yelp
Old crow is such a great bar but the food is even better!! The chicken tenders are seriously the best in the city. Such a fun spot too.
google avatar

Katie C.

Yelp
This is bar food people. It is exactly what you expect. But I really enjoyed it. Our bartender/server Meghan was so sweet and kind, also she made bomb drinks!! I had no clue this was a Cleveland Browns bar when I came, but it was obvious it was game day as soon as we walked in. Luckily we got seats at the bar. Moonshine cocktails were amazing. The burrito was good. The breakfast potatoes needed lots of salt and seasoning. Overall, I'd come back for a game and a cocktail

Philip R.

Yelp
Went to Old Crow for the first time yesterday with some friends, and it didn't disappoint! The upstairs ambience was fantastic, and the couches were very comfortable! I ordered the burnt ends, which came out quickly and were absolutely delicious! The biggest highlight of the day, though, was our service from Courtney! We loved her drink recommendation, the "Miss Peaches"! Overall, this was one of the best spots in Chicago and I highly recommend!
google avatar

Mel C.

Yelp
I travel to Dallas often so I'm kind of picky now when it comes to great BBQ. This place is pretty good but because its currently a Christmas Pop Up, service was a little slow and we were told several times the kitchen was slammed. The brisket poutine was tasty and cheesy. The sliders appetizer was also good and we devoured our ribs! Theres a cute special holiday menu this month too. Yes, I understand it is the holidays and can be very busy. But if you're going to make your location overly fun, festive and inviting I would hope you'd also plan for the increased crowd and food orders. It took nearly an hour between our one appetizer to the entrees we ordered but our servers did a great job of keeping our drinks coming and table cleared. Three entrees one appetizer and six drinks later, our bill was over $140. Cute place to stop in and they were setting up for a live band later in the night. It was fun to see the Tito's carolers too, collecting for pet rescue. Check out the "Elf" snow globe photo opp. It's super fun!

Haley V.

Yelp
Allison is the best!!! She is so bubbly and outgoing and provided outstanding service! Thank you for being the best

Ciara S.

Yelp
Great bar in the heart of Wrigley, professional staff, best chicken fingers, and my server, Madeline was a sweetie pie, efficient, attentive, and an absolute stunner. I love it here and will definitely be going back. Would definitely recommend!

Rea S.

Yelp
Great bartenders and servers! Hilarious staff with great energy and attitudes!! Can't wait to come back

Yelp
Large bar in Wrigleyville. This place is one of the better stops on the block. The food is extremely good and comes out fairly fast. Mostly barbecue flair which is made very well. Great for any sports occasion as well as going for live music. You usually won't have a problem finding a seat or at least space to stand around. There's also a large deck upstairs for you to relax on. Great for before or after Cubs games or just an area to hang out with your friends in Wrigley.
