We've shopped their mail-order service twice now. The first time came off well-enough, and that inspired us to go for a second order, especially when the shop was named in an article asking for help during this pandemic. We love supporting independent booksellers (writers, publishers, etc.), so we found three used books my husband especially wanted and couldn't find locally. Ordering online went smoothly, but a problem occurred with shipping somewhere along the way. Our envelope (yellow mailer with bubble wrap) contained two books and no packing slip, which I thought was weird. Plus, the envelope itself was dirty and ripped up. After notifying the company, they got right on it and send us a replacement book at no charge. That was great of them, but when the second packet arrived, same bubble mailer and still no packing slip. Frankly, I expected a better (sturdier) pack job, and no order slip the second time makes me think they just don't include them, not that it got lost or mishandled by the Post Office along the way.
E for effort, I suppose, but I won't be prioritizing this shop when I'm looking to make future purchases.
