Great little shop for jewelry repair. He replaced 3 watch batteries for us without a fuss. With that said, he can’t do specialized watch repair.

We stopped by today to have batteries in our watches replaced. Richard told us an hour or less and would call when ready. He was solid with the delivery of an hour or less. They have 2 warranty choices 1 year or 3 years for $6 more per watch. His prices were reasonable and service was great. We would highly recommend Old Gold.

I'm not sure if it was an employee or the owner, but I went in to get a 14k gold herringbone necklace repaired. The guy explained what he could do, but also what I could do to repair it on my own. He was down to earth, kind and knowledgeable. I really appreciated his expertise -- I would trust him with any jewelry repair, and the jewelry in this store looked very well-made.

Helpful and friendly. Excellent cleanings, but specialty work should be given sone sort of quality guarantee. Had my to g sent off to platinum jeweler for repairs and have had to repeat the process three times now and my ring is in need of repair again! The last repairs were extensive and costly, took over a month just to be sent off almost 3 for completion and afterward, i took special care not to risk potential damage and hardly wore it, its been around 6 to 8 months and the ring needs to be repaired already again! The cost of repairs and being sent to a specialist who works with platinum you'd think the work and all repairs would be a lot more lasting and quality. Could just buy a new ring. 7000$ ring.....would be nice to be able to wear it.... Old gold itself has been helpful and friendly

Old gold did an amazing job resizing 2 rings I dropped off and also fixed a prong that was bent. I feel his prices are fair, and he is honest. Also if you are in the market to purchase some jewelry he has an amazing selection and a vast variety. Highly recommend!

This little repair shop is awesome! Not only can they fix anything, but the also have fantastic old and new jewelry to shop for while you take your repairs in.. It is family owned and the husband/wife team are extremely knowledgeable about all things jewels new and old... I find a new gem every time I go and my husband got my unique engagement ring there as well... Its a must visit.

Old Gold did a fantastic job soldering my wedding ring/bands together. I was a little nervous since it was rose gold and wasn't sure if the solder would match- you'd can't even tell that it's there. Will definitely be using Old Gold as my go-to for anything jewelry!

Old Gold have been so helpful for a number of different jewelry needs. They adjusted a couple of rings perfectly and I also helped me with some amazing jewelry for my wife. Their expertise in jewelry repair is also amazing. Two thumbs up!

Rich replaced the batteries in 2 watches for me and it took maybe 5 minutes. Well done and less than $50 made me happy. The jewelry looked very good and the prices looked reasonable. Thank you Rich!

I took two 15 year old Tag Heuer watches to have the batteries replaced. Was very reasonable, under $50 total for both. And done while I waited. To go to Tag Heuer and have them do it was $400 - $800 and weeks. So I was very pleased. I recommend them/him fully.

Old Gold is my go to place for bringing in repairs for broken clasps on bracelets changing batteries on watches I even brought a bag of random broken unwearable jewelry and the melted it down and gave me a great cash offer Also Richie is so knowledgeable about stones and metal idenfication Also the new retail stuff from peyote bird and New York ... There selection of vintage estate and antiques are worth the visit

This is as good as it gets. Old Gold is the type of business you can feel comfortable with. They treat you with excellent customer service. They are even able to help with silly requests like fixing a brass cast deer. Fabulous job all the way around. Couldn't recommend them enough.

I loved Old Gold for their quality service, knowledge and to promote our local small retail owners. However, I fell on hard times and cannot complete my lay-away. I have no layaway agreement signed with them. Just a verbal to pay within 6 months. Spoke with owner that said a small restock fee and repayment of payments made to me was reasonable and would get back with me after talking to wife. Now wife wants 20% restocking and store credit. I would not recommend them just for that fact - this is a small community, we help each other, I only shop here, even though it is cheaper outside Durango. Now, when I need help - where did they go.
