Went around dinner time and service was great! We got a lot of different things, I don't quite remember all of them. Food was 4/5 only because the steaks were a little too salty for me. Went here two different times and both times the steak were salty. But other than that you could tell the meat was high quality. Service was awesome, everyone was knowledgable and friendly. Enjoyed our experience and is worth a try!

A fine classic steakhouse. We both had surf and turf. Steaks were perfectly prepared and top quality. Shrimp cocktail features full size prawns <3. French Onion soup is quite good. Oysters are offered "east coast or west coast" -- choose west coast. Your meal will be expensive, as is everything at Caesars. Well worth it for a special night out.

So the first time we ate here, it was during Covid (2020), so we weren't able to have the dining experience, but we did enjoy the food via room service. This time we got the full dining experience, and it was pretty good. The atmosphere was cool. Soft lighting and moderate noise. The service was very professional and delightful. As for the food, nothing was bad, but the items that really stood out was the Bisque soup and Truffle Mashed Potatoes. My wife had the Scallops, which were just okay. We had the sweet corn which tasted more like a Mexican corn. I had the 8oz Cap Ribeye, which was tasty and juicy enough to were it didn't need any sauce!!!! We had the Crab cake for an appetizer, which was good too. But the one thing we couldn't get enough of was those Truffle mashed potatoes... I highly recommend them!!! We also got a complimentary birthday dessert which was a delicious cheesecake!!!

We ordered oysters (east coast) and it was so good!! The lobster bisque was delicious with lumps of crab meat 😋. The tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection. The most tender meat I've had! The TRUFFLE FRIES is a must!!! I love that it had small-mediums pieces of truffles and parmesan. The creme Brulee was my absolute favorite!! Everything was beyond my expectations except....the service. This would have been my favorite steak house in Las Vegas but due to the service I rate this my #2 or #3. My server michael took a very VERY long time to take our order. He forgot the flight of sauces after saying he would put in the order. We waited 15 minutes after our steak came out to try the sauces. At the end of our dinner, he took forever to come back and didn't offer any dessert, so I had to kindly ask for the dessert menu. I noticed a few tables were given bread which we were not offered this. I watched as other servers handled the chaos due to the dinner rush and they did great! I felt our server made us a last priority. I seen him interact with the other guests and tried redeeming himself with them but not us. I noticed some of the other tables he was serving were getting impatient as we were.

Had an amazing experience at Old Homestead. Arrived a little earlier than our reservation time of 6pm on a Saturday night, but that wasn't a problem. We were immediately seated and greated by our server Eva; who was amazing all night! Eva recommended a couple nice bottles of wine and we choose one to our liking. Placed our order without any issues and had an overall great experience. If there was anything that could use some improving, I'd say the Ceasar Salad. The dressing was rather basic and had no real flavor; seemed possible even water downed. Other than that I would highly recommend this steak restaurant. I've eaten at almost every properties steak place and this one is highly ranked in my book! I will return!

The French Onion soup was delicious. Ordered the OH Burger. It was good, not great but just good. The waiter was very friendly. Glad for the experience but probably wouldn't go back. Nothing happened bad. Too pricey for what you received.

Located inside Caesars Palace, directly across from Nobu. The lighting is dark, old school style. The last few times in Vegas, we have been dining at a steak house for dinner. Honestly, I’m not impressed with Homestead. Had better at two other places. The dress code is also casual. It’s less strict over the years. But please, still keep it at least business casual if you’re not dressed to the nines. We ordered family style for 7 adults with multiples dishes to share. -Jumbo lump crab cake ($42.95) - my fav. Lots of crab -Signature meatball ($31.95) - has veal so I didn’t try -Caesar salad ($18.95)- can’t go wrong -Maine lobster bisque ($21.95) - creamy -24oz bone in rib-eye ($119.95) - decent -8pm American Wagyu rib cap ($94.95) - fat and juicy -Truffle fries ($24.95) - you’re paying for the truffles -Loaded baked potato ($22.95) - way over priced potato -Lobster Mac ($29.95) - lots of lobster chunks -Roasted mushrooms ($21.95) - oily -Charred broccolini ($21.95) - bland -Truffle mashed potatoes ($26.95) - buttery rich The steaks are lightly flavored salt and pepper. The rib cap has always been my favorite but I wasn’t blown out of my mind here. Both are tender and juicy but lacking something. Since it was President day weekend, we were told it’s a maximum of 2 hours to dine.

Coming from Texas, we can be a little snobby about our steaks but this was absolutely divine! Definitely better than any steak restaurant we've gone to in Texas. Had the wagyu rib steak medium rare....It was melt in your mouth good. Service was attentive and detailed. We left with happy bellies!

The steak was fabulous and the service is wonderful. The ambience is perfect for conversation and the decor is soothing.

The Dodgers beat the Yankees in the Series, so to celebrate... Peter Luger - Vegas style at Caesar's Palace! For anyone who's ever been to the Brooklyn original, you may be skeptical. How does this location measure up? To the Tee! The food? Spectacular! The service? Impeccable! The classic steakhouse vibes? It's Vegas, Baby! Our meal was Five Star from start to finish. José was an amazing server - friendly and super attentive. Our cocktails - old fashioned and black cherry margarita- were works of art. They belong on a wall not in a glass. The shrimp cocktail was glorious... shrimp that sweet and cooked perfectly. The cocktail sauce is delicious. Should be a cocktail in its own right.. just add a shot of tequila and serve it up. The aged porterhouse was perfectly medium rare and absolutely tender, beefy, delicious and decadent. These folks know how to age and cook a steak. This is a death row meal right here. For dessert, because you need some "schlag" in your life, the NY cheesecake with a side of that airy, sweet whipped cream. I'm ready to loosen that belt now. The system is working! Just like the original, minus the 6 hour flight. They even have a location in Japan! That might be a flight worth taking.

Yummy steak! We were seated right away since we had reservations early and it wasn't too crowded yet. We ordered the steak for 2. And it was a lot! Porter house and sirloin. Cooked medium rare and smothered in butta. Mmmm We also ordered the creamed spinach and German potatoes and it was enough to share with like 3 maybe 4. The potatoes were really good. They are small cubed pieces that were fried crispy. I probably could've done without the creamed spinach but it was still decent. The Caesar salad was also good - croutons were seasoned great and crunchy.

The place is gorgeous, but do we expect any less from a restaurant in Caesars palace? My kids brought me for my birthday. We started out eith appetizers the bacon lump crab and salad. The lump crab was a hit with the fam. I cannot eat crab but it looked lovely. The bacon I made an assumption that it was sweet and I hesitated on eating it. Big mistake. It was so yummy! I should've started sooner because it was amazing. I only regret not ordering my own! The reason for the 3 stars is that the main dish, the steak , was only so so. It was cooked perfect but underseasoned. We had 2 different cuts. It could also be that the place was hyped up on their steaks and made my expectations so high that they failed to deliver. For desert they brought me their version of a sundae. Which was homemade whip cream dressed up as a sundae. Service was also so-so. We had to wait quite a while aand it was definitely not worth remembering.

This place, is the place to go if you want an absolutely mouthwatering meal , great atmosphere and amazing wine / cocktail selection this is your place. Oh did I mention ruin the seafood tower that is smack your mama good. You'll get every Denny worth of flavor here. Service was excellent as well. Definitely recommend reservations, we went in a Friday night and it was busy but have walked past it multiple times and always seems to have a line. We were going to start with oysters but a dozen were half the price of the seafood tower and so we figured why not. Tower came with lobster, bowl of lump crab meat, gigantic prawns and oysters. The mignonette with the oysters, magical combination. There is also a garlic aoli served with it that was really good with the prawns. The steak for 2, medium rare, was plenty enough for us and we are both big eaters. It is served on a plate as hot as the sun, so you can sear your meat a little more if you like. Tender, juicy, well seasoned and just all around taste bud dance party. We actually ended up taking some home cause we couldn't finish it. The sides are a la carte as most steakhouses do, I'm glad we only ordered one because she's we were bursting at the seams and they are large portions. The German fried potatoes, I don't know where the kitchen staff learned to cook, but damn I wanna go to. Flavorful, crispy and delicious makes it sound run of the mill, but nope these potatoes will help heal your past. Soo very good. I'd go back weekly if it weren't for fear of resembling the Michelin man or cardiac arrest.

Wow, where do I start from the moment you walk in the ambiance and decor sets the tone. Staff was informative and help recommend items and describe the menu. Our server Corey was amazing and guided our experience from the start. We shared a seafood tower which had huge prawns, oysters, crab meat and a half lobster. It came with dijonaise and sauces. For entrees we split a ribeye which was cooked to the perfect temperature. Our table was by the kitchen so we could see the action and the Chef stopped by our table. Compliments to the culinary team everything was perfect. The manager Jamil check in on us as well and told us the history of the menu and family. A dinner to remember and cant wait to go back.

Fantastic!! What an amazing place! Peter Luger Steakhouse has been a goal for us for decades. We haven't been able to get there in Brooklyn, but tonight before Adele was the time. We got reservations on OpenTable, who was merciless with their confirmation emails and texts. Scott was our server and he was excellent! We told him we had concert tickets and he told us he would manage the clock. I had 6 pm dinner reservations and the show was to start @ 8, but Adele came on at 8:15. We were seated in the Coliseum in plenty of time. Scott brought out a bread basket and we enjoyed a couple of rolls. The booth we had was super cool. Right by the kitchen. We ordered the large shrimp cocktail with six HUGE shrimp! The cocktail sauce was super spicy. I loved it. I had a Bloody Mary which was super strong. I asked for a little more red stuff and it was perfect. My wife enjoyed the Malbec by the glass. I had a glass of Caymus with the steak. We ordered steak for 2 and Luger German potatoes. Delicious!! The steak was really a treat. One of the best we've had. My wife said her favorite ever!! She ate most of the tenderloin on the porterhouse we got. I loved the strip side. It was majestic! A fantastic meal at a legendary steakhouse. It was better than many of the other big dog steakhouses we've been to. 5 stars all the way!! Thanks to Las Vegas Phil for the recommendation.

I came with my sister and a group of friends on a Sunday night. We had made reservations prior for a party of 6 at 6 PM. Upon arrival, we checked in and were seated immediately. We were given the option of both sparkling San Pellegrino or still Aqua Panna water. We were seated at a circular table and I sat right next to my sister so I'll give our detailed account of our dining experience. We all ordered cocktails to start and I ordered a spicy margarita and my sister ordered a Moscow mule. My spicy margarita tasted more like a Paloma. My sister's Moscow Mule did not come in the usual copper cup, but rather a beer stein glass, which we thought was kind of strange. My sister and I ordered the Steak for Two, which is the Porterhouse. We surprisingly both loved the tenderloin part as we agreed that it was the most tender piece of meat we have ever tasted in our lives. The steak is served on a sizzling plate of butter that they place on the table slightly tilted to have the butter sit on one edge of the plate. My sister really liked the sauce that they put on the table. For dessert, we ordered the cheesecake and hot fudge sundae. Their house whip cream was the star of the show. There was nothing special about the cheesecake or the hot fudge sundae, so I would not recommend those. I also ordered an espresso martini with tequila and that was a nice end cap to the meal. Keep in mind this is a high-end steakhouse. It is pricey, but also keep in mind that you are on The Strip. The recommended attire is business/smart casual, but we did see patrons in graphic T-shirts and shorts dining so use your own best judgement. I did have to knock off 1-star because one of the servers was very rude when the steak arrived - I had told him that my sister and my steak was the one that we asked to be cooked medium plus, and he walked over to us, put the steak down between the two of us, and said in a very gruff voice, "we don't serve medium plus" and left - not a good way to start off the meal, especially at an expensive restaurant.

Loved our experience here. We came for lunch. It's at Ceasars next to Bacchanal. We made reservations via OpenTable. We wanted some steak. So that's why we picked Peter Luger. We heard about their Luger power lunch. We had to ask for it. Lunch was a great deal. It came with appetizer, entree, side dish, and dessert for $46. For extra $40, each of us got the steak. The service was wonderful. The waiters were so friendly. We will be back!

My top 3 steak house in Vegas. Expensive but worth it. Steak cooked perfectly with the butter. Been a Peter Luger fan since our days in Brooklyn. Just fyi if you are ordering apps and sides- they are good serving size. I would recommend ordering steak for 3 for 4 people. I don't mind ordering steak for 4 as I get to take home extra steak for my teenager at home. Make room for dessert- loved the apple strudel. Service is great- do miss the yelling from Brooklyn. lol. Enjoy

Date night and I am so happy we tried this place out. It was delicious. Definitely strip prices but what else do you expect. Wedge salad was great esp with the bacon bits, Steak for 4 was cooked to a medium and was very flavorful and tender... no sauces needed... I though the tomato and onion was ok, definitely need to drizzle the sauce onto it, creamed spinach paired well and the fried potatoes. The cheesecake was to die for!

This is our 3rd visit in the past 2 months. Top notch service is consistent as well as the flavors of the dishes.

Went to Sema 2024 and had to try Peter Luger! Our first experience was with Josh helping find my favorite wine Caymus cab sauv! Ninoska came by right after with a beautiful assortment of bread and a wonderful sauce that was very tasty. Then Raphael and Iggi were our servers, we were always attended by a very warm and helpful staff. I had to get all their names because I was so impressed by the excellent customer service. Even Teddy the Manager came by when we were finished to make sure everything tasted good and it was Amazing!! We had the Salmon and German Potato's. I also had the half dozen oysters for an appetizer, they were so fresh! Then after dinner we shared the bomb sundae! And after dinner cappuccino. The room was beautiful and set to perfection. Reservations recommended, especially for holiday weekends. Hubby & I came back during Labor Day weekend and had an early anniversary dinner prior to a concert. We shared the Steak for Two (porterhouse cut), a Mixed Green Salad, and Creamed Spinach. The salad was light & refreshing with hearts of palm, some pumpkin seeds, and a light vinaigrette. Steak for two was perfect portion for the two of, and creamed spinach was great for some greens/palate cleanser. I also tried the Espresso Martini and boy, it was strong (coffee flavor wise). I wasn't the biggest fan, but it was good. We did get some complimentary anniversary whipped cream. Parking at Caesar's was actually $20 flat rate when we went over Labor Day, but their elevators to the parking lot weren't all working.

Finally made it to this location. We made this reservation just one week out and the earliest reservation was 9:15 pm on a Saturday night. This place was gorgeous and I really enjoyed looking at the decor. I just thought it was just a tad too dark or it could be my eyesight is getting worse. The service was excellent. My glass of water was never empty and the staff made us feel as if no questions were too dumb. The onions and tomatoes were freaking tasty, if you are into those things? Which I am. The meat itself was better than the Brooklyn location. I would much rather eat her than in Brooklyn. My humble opinion.

We had the Luger Power Lunch (Wed-Fri & Sun 11am-4pm) for $45.95 with a choice of an appetizer, a main course, a side, and the Holy Cow Dessert. My husband got the Bacon + Burger + Fries, and I got the Caesar Salad + Steak (6-8oz NY steak, $30 additional) + Creamed Spinach. The burger is what we came for since it's served only at lunch time. It was okay, not bad, but not our type of burger. It had grilled onions and we added cheese, cooked medium. I think if they changed up the bun, it would have made it better. The steak was good, but not great for the price point. The bacon and caesar salad was delicious, and they Luger sauce, which is complimentary, is yummy, so yummy that we bought the $10 bottle for home. I'm glad we tried it, and it's a restaurant I've always wanted to try in NY, but never was able to get reservations. It's worth a try, and I think the lunch special makes it more affordable than the regular menu. Service was great!

Peter Luger's has been on my bucket list and it did not disappoint. Ambiance and service were incredible but the food, even better. Many high end steakhouses are not worth the price as the level of how much better the steak is, is not proportional to the amount you pay but Peter Lugers is worth it. Started off with the bacon and tomato/onion. Bacon was thick and so decadent with the fat cooked really well. The tomato and onion was recommended by the server and it sounded so ordinary but something about it with the lugers sauce made it very special. It was nice and refreshing. Lugers sauce had hints of cocktail sauce. For steak we ordered the Steak for Four. The steak mouth feel was so buttery, melt in your mouth and the flavor was the best I've had for steak. It was cooked perfectly and every bit was delicious. One of the sides we ordered were the mushrooms and these were the best I've ever had. They were cooked well and the seasoning was so on point. So earthy and soft with a bit of a chew. The steak here is incredible and some of the appetizers and sides will amaze you. If you are a steak lover, Lugers is a most.

My boyfriend took me here to celebrate for our 3 years anniversary a little early. The porterhouse steak for two pictured is phenomenal we ordered it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly,nicely seared and still red/pink in the middle. Our service was great and our server and his assistant was great at explaining their menu, how it worked and were both attentive they knew from our reservations as my boyfriend put in it was our anniversary and they brought us out a complementary " shlag" which is their house made whipped cream it was thick fluffy and delicious. We both really enjoyed our food and agreed we'd be back

I guess my expectations were higher because of the reputation of the restaurant. Personally the steak was a little overcooked (we asked for medium rare and it was more like medium). I didn't find the potatoes that "special" but it was crispy. The mushrooms were good as was the crab cake. Service was ok.

We have always wanted to check out the iconic Peter Luger Steak House and today we finally went there to celebrate my husband's birthday. The interior of the restaurant is classy and very pleasant. The service was excellent. We ordered the Luger's Sizzling Bacon for our appetizer. Our main course was the Steak For Two with the Luger's Special German Fried Potatoes. My husband also ordered the Luger Burger with Cheese, which he said was just okay. Everything else was great and we are so glad we chose to go here for his birthday. They also gave him a complimentary Schlag (fresh whipped cream). We had a very pleasant dining experience.

Service was impeccable. Love how they give you their famous gold coins. Their power lunch is a good deal too! I opted in for their bacon, salmon, spinach and their sundae! Can't go wrong with any of those. There are lots of drink options too but, it was too hot and we needed to hydrate so we just got water. Lol nonetheless, will definitely come back to try out their steaks here some other time to compare to the original location! Interior is very elegant. Lots of seats and have a modern twist.

This place is amazing. The steak is one of the lightest steaks I've ever eaten. It's like there isn't a heavy feeling in my stomach after I eat it. So delicious. This is the second Lugers I've eaten at in my life and I'll for sure be back. We had a group of 6 people and got a few appetizers and everyone shared a 4 person steak and it was more than enough. Place overall was quiet. I wore a T-shirt and jeans. Staff & Service was really 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Very large steakhouse nestled deep within Caesars. The steaks come exactly how you order them and are designed to be shared. Everything is cut and bathing in butter. The bar selection is vast with a handful of rare items (as expected for a Vegas establishment). Pricing is what you'd expect for a Vegas strip casino steakhouse, so don't go in looking to be cheap. It's also not a quiet place. It's somewhere to go for great food, fantastic drinks, and an overall fun time. Service is very friendly and prompt. Definitely would go back for another round!

WSOP Day 38 - WSOP Day 1B - Even more insane NLH 10/20/40 action. Fuel up! "Ready for 'blinner'?" I ask. "F yeah!" In unison from the group. So what does it tell you when influencers talk about thick cut bacon and a burger instead of steak when visiting a STEAKHOUSE? - "Luger's Sizzling Bacon, Extra Thick, Three Pieces" - Exactly as described with equal wow factor, ie, been there, done that. OK. - "Luger Burger" - Thick, juicy, cooked to temp, USDA prime burger. As good as any burger a true steakhouse serves up. Delicious, juicy, well seasoned goodness. Add some well made fries as a side. Truly satisfying. - Jumbo Lump Crab cake - Lots of crab but also the inclusion of bready fillers that make the inside pasty and mushy. It contrasts terribly with the perfectly crisp exterior. An agreeable dipping sauce does work to bring out some sweetness in the crab though more spice heat would help cut the pastiness. - USDA Prime Dry Aged Porterhouse Steak - Smells great when delivered to the table. Doesn't deliver on flavor. A weak sear (light caramalization) results in less beefy sweetness. Despite being dry aged, there is very little umami complexity. In all fairness, the doneness is perfect. Service is unique. Servers feed off fanboy energy. ie, act like you LOVE the chance to eat here because you fondly remember the cash only gruffness of the NYC location 20 years ago and you're gonna get better service than if you treat this as the Vegas casino eatery it is. Expensive but properly made steakhouse classic cocktails. Solid wine list with good by the glass offerings. Typical high Vegas resort markup. Peter Luger is solid but not impressive. Vegas has its own steakhouse institutions that deliver much more. Why settle for a Disneyesque re-creation?

Came here with my husband for his birthday and was able to book a reservation on Open Table! We checked in and were seated immediately, our server was amazing! Very attentive and helped us with recommendations for the two of us! We ended up getting the steak for 2, cesar salad, broccoli and their famous potatoes. We loved the filet part of the steak, cooked to perfection and the other side was good too. We couldn't finish our sides, and one of the waiters just took it off our table when he thought we were done, but we weren't, we though he would pack it up but never came back. It's okay, but next time ask if it needs to be packed up or not.

I've been saving up for a NY vacation. One of the spots I wanted to go in NY was Peter Luger. For years on Food Network & Travel Channel, they've repeatedly have said Peter Luger is the best Steakhouse in NY. My brother found out they had a location inside Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas, so we made reservations and decided to come here. The food was fantastic, we will most likely comeback in a few years. The best steak I ever had was at Peter Luger.

I have always heard so many good things bout Peter Luger in Brooklyn and always wanted to try it so was super excited when they opened a location in Vegas. Had no issues making reservations for my bfs birthday on a Weds night. The restaurant is located next to Bacchanal buffet in Caesars Palace. We got seated towards the back of the restaurant where we could see the kitchen. The dining room feels old school style and very classy. We were greeted by the server and he gave us great recommendations for all courses. Bread basket - the dinner roll so was delicious with the butter. Onion bread was good as well. Mai Tai - it was so delicious. It was smooth and refreshing. Not super sweet. Wedge salad - so refreshing with a good amount of bacon. They cut the portion in half so my bf and I can have our own. So thoughtful! My bf doesn't really like salads but he cleaned his plate! Meat for two (porterhouse) - we were amazed how delicious this was. Comes out on a super hot plate with butter sizzling. We ordered it medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. The meat melts in your mouth. Amazing!!! Mushrooms and potatoes (2 separate sides) - the sides were okay. They're known for creamed spinach but I'm not too into creamed spinach. Bday dessert - it was just a bowl of whipped cream. Was disappointed with the bday dessert compared to other restaurants. I'm definitely coming back and recommending this place to everyone. Food was delicious and the service was superb.

Great steak and service. Bar was spot on with dirty martini. Will go again next time in Vegas.

Compared to the original location in New York, this place exceeded my expectations in terms of service and experience. If you're looking for a fine dining experience, give this place a try. Food takes a while though so be warned if you're on a tight schedule. It's a place where you don't mind spending quality time with someone you come with. I recommend the regular steak and definitely the bacons!!

Food was excellent, although very pricey. It was $165 for the steak for 2. Just a thick porterhouse. Cooked perfectly. The reason for the 3 stars is because the waiter took away a full slice of bacon without asking if we were done. We had planned to eat it or put it in a to go box. It's $24 for 3 slices, plus tax and tip, so they essentially threw away $10 of my food with zero notice. They swooped in and just scooped it up. Not cool.

Get the burger, fries, and bacon. Best burger in Las Vegas, maybe the country. You'll thank yourself for making great choices Only served during lunch

The restaurant has a very nice, upper end steakhouse vibe. It was easy to have a conversation with our friends without yelling or repeating to each other. Tony and Giovanni were excellent in their service. We did not ever have to ask for anything! They checked in with us several times during our meal without being intrusive. My friends ordered wine by the glass and I had a Blood & Sand cocktail which was smooth and delicious. Now for the food...the bread service was good, especially the onion rolls that were filled with caramelized onions. We split a wedge salad that was your classic wedge, which we love. We got German potatoes which were described as hashbrowns crisped in butter. They were not hashbrowns, they were cubed potatoes, more like a country style potato. Oh well. The crimini mushrooms and creamed spinach were very good. The meat was supposed to be the star of the show, but my husband and I felt we've had better. I shared the steak for 2, medium rare, with my friend and it was ok. It was cooked at a perfect medium rare, but I guess I was expecting more as I read reviews that many people thought this was the best steak of their lives and that it was better than A5 wagyu. I didn't feel that way. My husband said the same thing about the rib steak. It was dry aged well, but it was not the steak to end all steaks. We took our friends to celebrate a bday. It was a nice experience, but none of us talked about how awesome the meal was afterward. I'm glad we were able to try Peter Luger's. It is an experience and it is expensive, but my husband and I decided we don't need to go back there ourselves for a steak dinner.

Been meaning to try the Peter Lugers in Brooklyn for years but if I get to New York now, it just Manhattan for quick work trips so when I heard that Peter Lugers opened in Las Vegas, I had to go. I can't compare it to the original but the food is good and menu is what you'd expect from a high end steak house. We got the steak for two medium rare and I knew the plastic cows they stick in the steaks are color coded so I had to ask the waiter if anyone ever orders well done? He said every night and agreed with me that's the wrong temperature to enjoy steak and was kind enough to show me the brown cow. It is interesting that they give you Peter Lugers original steak sauce up front (it's good with the steak) because long ago, I asked for steak sauce at another steak house in Las Vegas and my colleague, the waiter and the manger all asked me if something was wrong with my steak so I learned that I offended the kitchen by asking. I didn't know that and just liked the taste of steak sauce but that stuck with me. Besides the steak sauce, they tilt the plate at the table so the butter that they use to cook/bast the steak drains to one side which is also a great dipping sauce. Check out my pics!

I was ecstatic when I saw that New York's infamous Peter Luger finally made its way to the west coast. This is one of my favorite steak houses that I always visit whenever I'm in the Big Apple. I was a little nervous that it would not be the same quality as the original location, but they sure did not disappoint. The ambiance is obviously newer compared to the original establishment, and super spacious. Service was great, we were well taken care of by the wait staff. Everyone was friendly and very attentive. The food: Shellfish tower for 2 - With Jumbo Shrimp, Oysters, Maine Lobster. Fresh seafood, with large lump crab as well. Highly recommend this. Luger's Sizzling Bacon, Extra Thick, Three Pieces - if you like thicken bacon cuts, this is something you'll really enjoy. Served on a sizzling hot plate. Mixed Green Salad, Gem Lettuce, Hearts of Palm, Pumpkin seeds - refreshing and light, perfect to cut the fatty/heavy meats. USDA Prime dry aged rib steak for 2 - their signature dish. They tilt the plate and drizzle more meat juice/butter as it sizzles on the hot plate. Cooked in a very simple manner, no frills, but absolutely delicious. Now we have a staple each time we visit Vegas.

This place is located in Caesars palace next door to Mr chow and the buffet. I have heard plenty of great things about this place so wanted to try it out. It does not look big from the outside but it is huge on the inside in the back area plenty of room for seating many private rooms to for big groups. Let's get to service hosts are great reservation was at 6 immediately took us in. Service from bussers to servers everyone was great. The menu is actually very simple a few options but not too much to where you can't decide. Appetizers: Thick cut back bacon was great it was like having another meal huge pieces well worth a try. Jumbo shrimp cocktail huge pieces of it's for one 4 is more than enough be aware the cocktail is a little more spicy. Also in my group they got the wedge salad with bacon they really enjoyed it. Dinner: We got the The steak for 2 it was a porterhouse it was more than enough for 2 people lots of meat cooked to perfection you can't go wrong also make sure you put the butter that have it sitting in the plate makes a huge difference. The other person in our group got a ribeye that's was excellent too I tried a piece. The sides we got were the German potatoes make sure you put the house Luger sauce on them it's excellent. We also got the cremini mushrooms also great. You cannot go wrong here from a great steak place not overly prices and great service. Would highly recommend will be back again.

One of the worst dining experiences in LV. Shame on me for not fully reading the menu when I booked the reservation. I didnt realize that a steakhouse only serves one cut. A first for me! After multiple visits to Gallaghers, S&W and others on the strip, decided to give this one a shot. Food: I like my steak med/rare. wife likes it med-well. So getting a two person steak was off the table, as they prepare all steaks to same temp. She also prefers a filet, not on the menu. Anyway we did single steaks and a side loaded potato. Apps were ok, cocktail sauce had a nice horseradish kick. Steaks were both overcooked and the tater was undercooked. We skipped desert to cut our losses with an already disappointing dinner. Service: I guess when you dont order a bottle of wine, they quickly sour and turn their noses up. When we said we need a couple of minutes with the menu, he disappeared. Caught him standing around a station chatting with another waiter. Finally showed up and took our order. Didnt check on us until we were almost done. Left quite a bit of steak behind, due to wrong temp. I asked the Mrs if she wanted to send it back, but as we waited 1/2 hour to get it in the first place, we didnt bother. Plus we would have to flag down the waiter and he was absent during most of service. Overall: SO many great places to eat a steak in LV, that we will not be returning. I get a better steak at Joe's Stone and they are a seafood place!

You have to eat here! I was skeptical when my husband said he wanted a burger from a STEAK restaurant, but let me tell you, it will be the best burger you ever eat in your life. Simple with cheese, meat onion and bun, but omg. We also got the single steak and cream spinach. The butter on the steak is to die for. It was all so great and the service is absolutely wonderful.

I was craving steak. A very good steak. A quick Yelp search and voila! PETER LUGAR OH YEAH!!! Having been to the original in Brooklyn years ago....I was pleasantly surprised to see there happened to be one in Vegas now too! (new since November, in Caesars Palace)... I called in advance to confirm if, like the original, they only take cash and they actually take credit cards as well and proceeded to make a reservation, just in case. Upon entering, the decor is very classy with a luxurious feel. We sat at the low, accessible portion of the bar. The service was on point from start to finish. Professional, friendly, patient and helpful. We started with cocktails and we were offered a basket of bread...the onion roll was amazing. We had the porterhouse for 2, cooked to medium perfection and a side of the potatoes and the Peter Lugar sauce on the side. I only used it a couple of times, I like the meat as is. There was so much food, our leftovers could have easily been another entire meal for each of us! We took the leftovers back...but ate so much during lunch that we couldn't eat dinner (except I had a couple late night bites because it was so good!) I was super happy to see a classic steakhouse in Vegas that I could enjoy a fantastic steak. It was an excellent break from the mediocre food in some of the other casinos/hotels... Highly recommended.

We're back on Memorial Weekend. The family loves this place and I have grown to adore this place because the service is top notch. Hands down the most attentive and genuine staff members. We had Tony and he was so personable. We ordered the exact dishes as NYE weekend except we swapped out the mushrooms and got asparagus. Rib eye for 1 and porterhouse for 2 was just enough to feed 5 adults. The baked potato was huge, shrimp cocktail was sweet, Caesar salad was evenly mixed. Crab cakes was meaty. We all loved the stuffed onion bread. The bread basket comes in a variety. We asked them to trade it all in to give us only onion bread. Tony said if we decide to come in the future, to request him and he'll be sure to put in the same exact orders. My only suggestion is to rotate the sides menu. All the sides were the same options as NYE. The menu should be rotated. Which is why I'm rating a 4 and not yet 5.

We had a nice dinner here to celebrate my hubby's b'day. We started the evening with the fresh shellfish tower of jumbo shrimp, oysters and Maine Lobster. For our mains, we shared the USDA Prime Beef - Steak for Three, a side of broiled asparagus and a large loaded baked potato with Luger's bacon. Our steak was tender and perfectly medium, the veggies and baked potato were good-tasting. We ended dinner with a slice of pecan pie for dessert.

SO GOOD. My friends recommended this as their absolute favorite steak house and I can definitely tell why. I dream about this steak sometimes! :") FOOD [5/5] ========= + Meats: Steak for 4 (5/5) & Ribeye Steak for 2 (5/5) Juicy, tender, delicious. The meat has amazing flavor and texture. We ordered these two cuts and a few sides for a party of seven and it was perfect. + Fries (5/5) Salty, crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside. It's pretty delicious. + Slices Tomatoes & Onion (4/5) This is literally just thick pieces of raw tomato and onion. I personally love these raw so I didn't mind, but I would order them with caution! SERVICE [6/5] =========== Alex was quite possibly the best server I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Alex was super friendly, attentive, knew the menu and recommendations so well, and went above and beyond to give us the best service ever!! I've never been more impressed by someone's relatability and professionalism. :)

soooo expectations werent so high because how can it be better than the original and first location in NY? well let me say it was a great dinner, we left literally nothing!!!

Jason and Curtis were absolutely fantastic. We got their secret salad, which was a mix of tomatoes, onions, shrimps and bacon. Their steak was perfection as well. FYI, they sell their signature sauce in bottles for $10.

Setting: We made a reservation over 1 month in advance and we were only able to get a 4:30pm reservation for 6 people on Saturday evening. Maybe it was particularly busy since it was Labor Day weekend but I would highly recommend making a reservation early. The restaurant is in Caesar's palace and can be hard to find so I recommend getting to the hotel at least 15 minutes early so that you can find it in time. Food: We ordered a caesar salad, thick cut bacon, crabcake, seafood tower, and two orders of steak dinner for two. The server told us that we would get more filet mignon if we did two orders of the steak dinner for two instead of getting a steak dinner for 4, so that's what we ended up doing. Half of the steak was filet mignon and the other half was NY strip. Both cuts were good but the filet really stood out. It was incredibly soft and tender, probably one of the best steaks I've ever had. We ordered one steak medium and one medium rare. There wasn't a huge difference but I think the medium rare steak was better. The NY strip cut was also very good but didn't stand out that much compared to other restaurants. If we could, we would get filet only. The Peter Luger steak sauce was excellent! Caesar salad - 5/5 Hard to make caesar salad that good but this salad was incredible! Bacon - 5/5 It was definitely worth trying. It is a thick cut bacon with a lot of flavor Seafood tower - 4.5/5 This included lobster, shrimp, oysters, and pieces of crab. It was very good but definitely not the highlight of the meal Crab cakes - 3/5 I personally thought that they were not very good compared to other crab cakes I've had in the past. Bread - 5/5 The bread was surprisingly good! They actually had a variety of different breads. My personal favorite was the onion bread. It was good to dip it in steak sauce. Value: It was a very expensive meal but it was worth trying once! Service: As expected, the service was excellent! Other: We had a great experience here as it was for my dad's 60th birthday! Our entire party left the meal incredibly satisfied with all the food. I would highly recommend at least trying once!

It did not disappoint. I have always wanted to eat at the original one, but decided to try this one just in case I never get a chance. Although it's brand new and in the middle the casino, it does feel like an authentic steakhouse with all the Peter Luger markings. While it does feel high-end and the service matches, I felt the staff to be very down-to-earth and sociable. The place is beautiful and you get a sense of the upscale feel of the Brooklyn location. The bartender, Jeff, was awesome and kept me engaged while he kept busy working. Everyone who attended to me was very friendly and professional. Most importantly, the food was delicious. I had heard and read about the burger for years so my expectations were high. Thankfully they were met and surpassed. The Luger sauce added something that you can't find anywhere else and the fries were some of the best I've ever had. If I never get to the original Brooklyn location, I will be happy that I made it here.

I finally had an opportunity to try this steakhouse and I must say, I was impressed. My waiter Alex did a great job explaining the menu and the various meat combinations that would give me the best dining experience. The meat was excellent. It had good flavor, was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The meat needed no sauce and/or any additional salt/pepper. It was very tender, moist and easy to cut. I've always been a proponent of dry aged meat because it offers greater flavor and has a distinctive bite, which, is phenomenal. The creamed spinach was outstanding and had great flavor. It wasn't as creamy as I'm accustomed to but it was amazing and I actually enjoyed more. The restaurant's decor and design is open and very spacious allowing guests more room to maneuver about. The reception staff were very pleasant and greeted guests upon arriving and leaving the restaurant. This is an important and often overlooked position but is critical in the overall operation of the restaurant. I definitely enjoyed my dining experience and will return.

Its a classic NY steakhouse now in LV, much easier to get to. And unlike NYC they take credit and not only cash. The service here was excellent, attentive old school servers who are fast and on top of everything. The venue is huge once you walk in, like a step back in time to a cozy steak house in LV. For food got the recommend porterhouse for 2, creamed spinach, german potatoes, bacon, shrimp cocktail. Everything was delicious. The shrimp were huge and the bacon thick and crispy. The sides were a huge surprise and so damn good. The steak itself was cooked perfectly and served sizzling hot. One of the best steakhouse meals ive ever had. I am a fan. Worth the cost and I will definitely be back the next time im in vegas.

I had no idea Peter Luger's made its way to Vegas until I randomly saw them right outside of the Bacchanal back in October of last year. I was ecstatic to hear that they're closer now because I didn't think I'd get to try this place unless I made it over to NY where it's originally located. The thing with this place is that it was established in 1887 and is apparently the third oldest steakhouse operating in NY. The somewhat more recent drama with it is that it received a 0-rating from the New York Times. I haven't read the review yet because it's paywalled, but I'm curious what went wrong for them to rate it as such. For steaks, they serve either USDA Prime Ribeye or USDA Prime Porterhouse. Their ribeye unfortunately does not come with the cap steak as they mentioned it basically falls off during their cooking process (boooo). In the middle of their menu, you will see where it says "Steak for 1/2/3/4". This is a little confusing, because my intuition would lead me to believe that you would get one steak per 1/2/3/4 person or people depending which one you ordered. Turns out this is not the case. If you get the steak for one, you just get the strip side of a Porterhouse. Judging by the comments, if TWO people order a steak for one, they both only get the strip side of a porterhouse, and they'll be left wondering where's the filet mignon side. If you want a FULL porterhouse for yourself, you'll have to order a steak for two just for yourself, if you are a party of two, and both of you want your own porterhouses, you need to order a steak for four. Despite the ribeye not coming with the cap, it was still delicious. The porterhouse was great, but the strip side was slightly more tough, even for a USDA Prime. The steaks ended up being served family style. The wedge salad was great, we ordered it chopped. The sides were pretty meh, though the German potatoes were probably the only one worth mentioning. The bread service was good and the tomato BBQ sauce for the steak was fantastic. Also, no one knew what I was talking about when I mentioned this was the steakhouse that had steaks so tender, you could cut it with a spoon. I saw it somewhere on YouTube, but no one at this establishment seemed to know what I was talking about. The Holy Cow Sundae was phenomenal, I haven't had a proper sundae (let alone any sundaes) in a while, and this was a great welcome back to one. Come lunch time they have a special on a burger there, which was what 90% of other patrons were ordering at the time of visit.

So excited to see a Peter Luger in Vegas. We love the one in Brooklyn. Obviously, very high priced steakhouse. But you cannot help but love the simple "steakhouse " menu. The portions are large. Love the steak sauce!!! And the bread service is delicious! Go here hungry, and save room for dessert! The sundae is worth it.
