The Essential Restaurants of Atlantic City

"Inside of the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, this newly-renovated grand steak house returns with new decor, an expanded bar, and culinary favorites, such as their legendary Gotham rib steak — a juicy, 34-ounce cut served on the bone with a crispy onion ring." - Ernest Owens, Eater Staff

Upon walking to front desk it took a moment to be noticed as what I could ascertain was an employee and her family leaving after dining . The front desk girls seemed more interested in her leaving then with us waiting . It’s a very nice steakhouse. Atmosphere was on the upscale. Decor was appealing. Tables were spaced far enough apart where it was private for each group Waiters were attentive. A nice list of wines was provided as was drink menu. All priced accordingly to the restaurants in AC so prepare for 2x the normal . We ordered the porterhouse for two ($155) and a few appetizers with a side. Steak was cooked to perfection and very nicely spiced. A side of the bernaise complimented the steak and didn’t overpower it. The sides were generous and very flavorful. The calamari was extremely fresh and very delicious. Lightly breaded and served with a side sriracha and a marinara- nice touch giving two sauce choices. The Caesar salad was huge fresh, and the dressing was on point. Saved a little room for dessert ordered the crème brûlée, which was quite delicious. The coffee came with a decanter to enjoy more than one cup without asking. And an unusual serving of sweets to stir in. A Little Rock candy stick or whole sugar cube. Nice touch. Overall a very good meal definitely will return for a great steak! A must go if in the Borgata!

Wow what a meal! For appetizer we were initially unsure of what to order, until the smell of thick cut bacon in maple syrup arrived at the table next to us. It was so delicious we were sad when it was gone. For our entrees we had the veal special and the 16oz filet mignon (too much meat lol) Both were cooked perfectly and the side of sautéed mushrooms paired well with both. Stuffed to the gills, we made the mistake of ordering dessert...the chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream etc. It was way too much food but the whole meal was really very good, and the service was professional and excellent. Highly recommend!

Loved our experience here. We didn't have reservations at prime-time hours, yet were seated immediately. They offered the option of sitting at a bar counter overlooking the kitchen, or getting put on a list. We agreed to the bar seating. It was an amazing and unique experience. We were able to watch dinners, seafood apps, and salads as they were prepared by a VERY professional staff. It was great! I ordered the rack of lamb and was not disappointed. Seriously, it was the most perfectly cooked lamb I've ever had. My guy was a bit disappointed in his pasta dish, but he doesn't like tomatoes, which were integral to the dish. I ate his tomatoes and thought the dish was great. I hope to dine here again.

Google
This restaurant should be Michelin Starred. Service was impeccable and the food was absolutely mouth watering! I had the glazed salmon and my other half had the 9oz petit sirloin. We both agreed that this was the best overall meal either one of us had ever eaten.

Amazing place, food, and service! My husband and I came for dinner during our getaway—it’s not our first time here, but we remembered it fondly and had to come back. The booking process was smooth; we reserved for 8:30 PM but were seated by 8:20. The service was absolutely AMAZING. Huge applause to the whole team! We were taken care of by Jeff and his team (apologies for not remembering all the names), and they were incredible—attentive, smooth, and genuinely welcoming. Special shoutout for the crème brûlée recommendation—I'm not usually a sweets person, but my husband is, and this dessert was the perfect choice. It was delicious and felt like a thoughtful, spot-on suggestion from someone who really understood our vibe. As for the food—everything was outstanding. From the tartare, oysters, and onion soup to the perfectly cooked steaks and, of course, the dessert, every course was delicious. Good luck guys! Maybe we will see the Michelin ⭐️ soon in AC, regards to chefs and the whole team❤️

Google
It was crowded on a Thursday night. Lucky we made reservations. Service by the wait staff was excellent . Steaks cooked the way we ordered. The sides can be split between 2 to 3 people. The fries weren't all that great but the calamari was excellent. The burger was humongous! We had some comp points to use which made it all the better! Went again this week and had plenty of leftovers. Excellent service again!

Google
Amazing service, THANK YOU Kurt. Great food (better than any Gordon Ramsay’s lol sorry to say this but it’s true). Been coming to Borgata for 4+ years now w/ my husband and can’t believe this was the first time we tried Old Homestead. Highly recommended

Yelp
Nice and friendly service from front and back of house. Specially appreciate of my lovely server Oscar and his team. From starting the drinks to entrees, they always come to check our food, up selling drinks and special menu. Of course we tried a special dish as he recommends, Veal rib chop. Special sauce with medium cooked juicy and delicious meat and vegetables, the presentation and meat quality so good! My friend loves her cocktail drink, compared she had a similar drinks from other restaurants, here mixed perfect! We sat on the second floor table, pretty quiet even there had few conversations party around us. Highly recommend to everyone who wants to celebrate party and gatherings.

Yelp
I'll start off with the good. The food was excellent. I ordered the shrimp scampi and my husband had a wedge salad. There was entirely too much dressing on the wedge, but that could be subjective. The shrimp on my dish were amazing. The scampi could have had a little more flavor but it was good. The bad. We got seated at quite possibly the worst table in the restaurant - a two top right at the top of the stairs with all of the patron and wait staff traffic whizzing by us. Not to mention, the sheer amount of grime and dust on the ledge next to us was gross. While making the reservation, it asked if we were celebrating anything, and what we were celebrating. I noted that we were celebrating a birthday (mine) and a big year at my job. Neither were recognized, although the tables next to us were brought a dessert for their celebrations that were noted in the reservations (I heard the server discussing with them). If this is the best Borgata has to offer for a nice night out during our three night trip here, we will go eat fast food for the next two nights. Casino restaurants are as much about the experience as the food, and one fell short and one was fair.

Yelp
I've been eating at this restaurant for about 12 years. It's always amazing. But I wanted to take a minute to give props to the manager, Brian, and the server, Kelly, and her team. Last night we went out for our ten year anniversary and I got the lamb. It was delicious. However, there was an issue with the mashed potatoes. These guys don't play. The response was so fast and just over the top nice. I was completely floored. Don't get me wrong. Service has always been great, but I've also never had anything come out wrong. The steps they took to make sure everything else was perfect are SO appreciated. Going to keep recommending this place to everyone when they go to AC.

Yelp
Celebrated our wedding anniversary in Atlantic City and booked a table at Old Homestead, having dined at the original in lower Manhattan. First impressions... Much more modern and very classy decor. Much larger than the original. Service was extremely warm and friendly. My wife and I both went with 8oz filets which were cooked to perfection. The hash browns that accompanied the steaks were also tasty, but I do wish it didn't get soaked up in the steak sauce. The bread that came with dinner was a nice bonus, we even took some back home with us. And the final surprise was a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary. All in all, a great dinning experience. Highly recommend

Yelp
The signature Gotham Ribeye steak would make The Batman proud, melts right in your mouth!!!

Yelp
Old Homestead, thank you for a lovely dinner in AC. As soon as you walk in, you're transported to a space away from the crazy gambling vibes. The decor here feels like a cozy library. Everything from food, service, drinks were all great! I would skip the calamari - wasn't anything to write home about. The steak was incredible. PSA: the portions are generous. The lobster mac and cheese was like an entree, not a side. Would highly recommend!

Yelp
I am not quite sure what took me so long to dine at Old Homestead but now that I have it just may have become a must dine here" situation every time I visit Borgata because OMG IT WAS SPECTACULAR!!! I went in to grab a seat at the bar for dinner around 8:30pm and the restaurant and bar was pretty lively. I was immediately greeted by the bartender Rico (who is absolutely AMAZING overall and not just as a bartender) and he gave me a menu and began making the espresso martini I ordered. The espresso martini was SLAMMING ... perfectly balanced and delicious and packed the punch I needed. I ordered the wedge salad and the bone in ribeye for my entree and as I waited for the food I was also served warm and delicious rolls and butter. When my food arrived I was shocked at how LARGE the portions were and also at the beautiful plating of the wedge. All I can say is that both items were hands down DELICIOUS and my steak was cooked absolutely perfectly! I of course had leftovers which were nicely packaged for me (& I will have enough for 2 more meals). Truly an overall wonderful dining experience because of the service, ambiance and food and I will definitely be back every time I'm staying at Borgata.

Yelp
The food was delicious! I really enjoyed the clams and creamed spinach. I had some dessert wine and it was pretty good. The service was excellent and had a really soothing ambiance.

Yelp
Food way great and restaurant had a nice classic steakhouse ambiance. Ribeye steak was cooked perfectly even as ordered rare, wedge salad was huge, and sides were good too. Wouldn't get the burrata salad again cause it came with golden and red beets which were kinda sweet and random, as tomatoes would make more sense. Servers were nice and attentive, and the restaurant had nice high ceilings and a very open comfortable feel.

Yelp
My employees purchased an Old Homestead gift card for $200 last year after we had a large business dinner the, the Atlantic City location. Tonight my wife and I dined there and had an enjoyable meal. When we tried to use the gift card, they said it was only valid in NYC. The restaurant manager came to our table and said it was impossible to buy the OH gift card in Borgata. Our bill was $137 and he would not give the card back to us but we could buy something else and leave the tip on the card. (which we were told we could not do at first) So a very plesant evening was ruined because of this policy, procedure, oversite or what ever you want to call it. He basically accused me of lying about the entire situation. What a ridiculous way to treat a customer.

Yelp
Get: The bread, the Gotham bone-in steak, and the Caesar salad My father and I had an okay experience at Hells Kitchen, so we came to Old Homestead to get our steak craving fulfilled. The service here is top notch! Our water was always refilled and they gave us some extra bread to take home. The friendliness of the support staff really sticks out in my mind and made this a great experience. Everything that we ordered tasted delicious. My father opted for the bigger cut of filet mignon and I was impressed at the size. My Gotham bone-in steak was perfectly cooked a medium rare. The prices here are fair considering how much food you get! We were stuffed that I didn't get a chance to order dessert but I will the next time I am in AC.

Yelp
I really liked Old Homestead at the Borgata/ Water Club. We ate here 11/5/2024 at it was excellent. I got the 9oz Felit Minoun and it was delishious!! The center was hot, juicy and pink. The service at Old Homestead was Excellent. Also, the ambiance of the place was quaint and cozy but VERY fancy!! The only thing I didn't like were the Prices! some things were WAY over priced. But if you are in the Borgata, Water Club (MGM grand tower) or Atlantic City area and want a good steak, try Old Homestead!

Yelp
Enjoyed dinner very much, but it sure isn't cheap. $$$. My date and I had one cocktail each and split the burrata salad as well as 6 oysters on the half shell as appetizers. Then we split the sirloin steak, garlic mashed potatoes, salt & pepper brussel sprouts, and sauteed broccoli. I also had a cup of coffee. $240. The ambiance was classy steakhouse. The service was warm and attentive. I would visit again if seeing a show at Borgata for a special night. Make sure you make reservations!

Yelp
I have been coming to The Old Homestead since 2011 and one of my most favorite items has always been the chefs special bread. My husband and I haven't been back in a few years since they were doing renovations and before that the pandemic, but we didn't realize just how long it had been. The menu has changed, namely the chefs special bread is GONE! After we got over our initial devastation we took a look at the cocktail menu. My husband did a salted caramel old fashioned and I did a punch( I forget the full name). The bread service has not changed. The rolls are a little on the harder side but they're served warm. I miss the chefs special bread so much that anything else is just sad. We split the steak house salad. I highly recommend splitting salads. Because even split they're huge. We also did something we never did before. We always order our own steak entrees and end up bringing home leftovers. This time we split the Gotham ribeye steak and it was perfection. We also tried the fries for maybe the first time ever and they were really good. I'm usually a mashed potato or potato au gratin girl but these were delicious. We did the asparagus with hollandaise too and that was also fresh and fabulous. We are usually too full for dessert but we decided to go for it and we split the strawberry shortcake. It was HUGE but delicious. We couldn't finish it but it was great. All in all, the experience here is faster paced than some more romantic steak houses. But service is always good.

Yelp
I love eating at this steakhouse. I have to just get to the point. The steaks here are always amazing. Cooked to the perfect temperature. Taste is just amazing. The sizes of the steaks are very generous, they are big juicy steaks. The chicken parm, is so delicious. I was not expecting the chicken parm to be that good. The drinks are good as well and the sides are good too. The meat balls are great. The staff is fantastic, very friendly and professional. The ambiance is very nice as well. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I was here this past weekend. It's never disappoints. Make sure you have a reservation! The apps are great! The shrimp cocktail is insane. It has nice leather booths and feels like an old time Lounge. The service is top notch too.

Yelp
Located in the Borgata Casino ; where you can conveniently self or valet park. A very large beautiful restaurant immaculately kept with wonderful menu. If you are looking for place to celebrate or have business meeting make this your place . Their signature rib steak was delicious perfectly prepared, caviar was set out and paired wonderfully with their fresh shucked oysters. Everything we tried was amazing and the staff was always willing to share an opinion when asked . The food ambiance and staff made it an enjoyable evening full of conversation and laughter. My gratitude and thanks.

Yelp
The entire experience was fantastic. The ambience is a little dated but nevertheless the food and service was on point.

Yelp
Awesome service (sat at bar). Veal Chop and Rack of Lamb outstanding - just perfect. Oysters eh at best; not really shelled well. Pieces of shell and ya had to dig at the meat to get it. Just what you would and should expect from Old Homestead. Like.

Yelp
Believe the hype. Most incredible Ribeye ever! Huge, delicious, juicy, cooked to perfection. Our waiter Armand attentive, personable and delightful. Couldn't have asked for a better dinner anywhere. -Classic Caesar Salad was big enough for two. /Heavy Cut Bacon was fabulous with maple syrup and parmigiana slivers. -Jumbo Lump Crab Cake had no filler and was rich. The Gotham Rib Steak 34 Oz.was off the charts great. We'll be back. Don't forget to ask for Armand.

Yelp
The most proper drink you will have in the borgata! They mix the most delicious drinks! Attention to detail is not missed in the wonderfully flavorful drinks I had the most delicious steak and added a lobster tail! Delicious The kids were with us so we got a chicken parm with pasta! Omg wonderful The bread and butter is always good Sides are all better then the next! Love the Mottz and onion rings

Yelp
A flavorful experience with romantic vibes. Perfect spot for a great meal and date night. The stuffed day boat scallop is a must.

Yelp
Not my first review for OH, and also not my first 5 star review either. My wife and went this past weekend again - everything was fantastic, from the greeter to our waiter. I got the Gotham ribeye again, it was perfectly cooked to a medium rare, my wife got the prime rib, and absolutely loved it. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be going back.

Yelp
Wow! Simply wow! I apologize for not getting pictures but I have to say this was one of my favorite restaurants I've tried in 2024 and I can understand why it is so hard to get a seat/reservation. We started with 2 salads and a bottle of wine. The kids had juices and all of us really appreciated the start to the meal. The salads were huge and very tasty. From there we went on to have a steak for me, chicken parm for the wife, and the linguini with basil for the kids. Quite simply the food was spectacular and plentiful. We also had the berries and cream desert with some after dinner drinks. All in all the service and food were top notch. Oh and the ambiance of this place is perfect for date sir small groups. While dark, there is great focused lighting over tables. I'd definitely recommend trying this place out.
google avatar

Deborah W.

Yelp
Service was top notch. Food was timely and tasty. Steak cooked perfectly as ordered. Waiter was professional and attentive. Only issue was they didn't add steak sauce or a cup of blue cheese dressing to the to-go box.
google avatar

Yelp
3 stars mainly for the level of service being where it should be for a steakhouse of this level. The food left much to be desired. Arrived 15 minutes before our reservation and the host was very nice and sat us almost immediately. We were quickly offered water and handed our menus. So that portion was spectacular. I'm in no way an expert but have eaten at many high tier restaurants luckily and the service here ranked up at the top. My wife and I were Celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary so we thought we'd splurge a bit. For appetizers got the onion soup and tuna tartar. Both were a great start to the meal. Next up was the Caesar salad which was fresh and refreshing. The main course, the 44oz Porterhouse, garlic mashed, and sautéed Broccoli. The taters were the highlight of the main course. The Broccoli, did not seem very sautéed rather tossed in some garlic oil. It was Moreno steamed than sautéed. And the steak, for $155 was incredibly underwhelming. Next to zero seasoning. Even the most basic restaurants will at least use salt and pepper but there was nothing on it. When I asked our server if they had finishing salt or flaky salt he had no idea what I was referring to. Figured a high end steakhouse would have this basic condiment. He brought out table salt instead which somewhat helped. But overall again the steak was cooked right but just had zero flavor. For spending 500 for a party of two I could have ordered a prime cut of the same steak and cooked it better myself sadly. Not sure I'll be back anytime soon.

Dave W.

Yelp
The food was outstanding. I had the French Onion Soup to start and the Veal Chop. Veal chop cooked perfectly. My wife Tuna tartare. Also outstanding and Prime Rib. Service was excellent and ambiance was nice Definitely going back.
google avatar

Olesya M.

Yelp
The food was pretty good and service by Walter was excellent. The tomato and mozzarella salad (basically caprese) was cut incredibly thick, both the mozzarella and tomato. My personal preference would be to have thinner and smaller pieces. The steak was cooked medium as requested. Overall no complaints and the meal was enjoyable enough.
google avatar

Amanda P.

Yelp
The service was OK but the food was really not good. I got the salmon and my friend got a burger. I couldn't eat the bok choy that was part of the salmon dish because it tasted like it was cooked in some industrial oil used for machinery - basically not food grade. We ordered the brussel sprouts as a side which I've never seen a restaurant able to mess up. The brussel sprouts were so fried through that they were just brown throughout - there was no green at all. Ambiance would have been nice if a nearby table of a loud boisterous (drunk) group weren't within earshot in a tiled cavernous space. My ears hurt at times. To top it all off, the bill was way too high. This was fine dining pricing for what could have been done better by Applebees. All around a no. Avoid. The one star is because the service was decent and the place is clean. That's all it has going for it.

Ibmer F.

Yelp
Ate at the bar, bartenders Laura and Joseph were working that night. I ordered the clams casino app and the "small" fillet medium rare. The clams arrived in short order but seemed to have been broiled too long as they smelled and tasted burnt. I told Joe this and he immediately took the plate away and had the kitchen redo them. The replacement arrived quickly and was very good. The fillet was cooked exactly as ordered and may have been the best piece of steak I ever had! I realize that "stuff happens", it's how these issues are handled that tells you about a place. I have nothing but good things to say about my meal and Old Homestead in general.
google avatar

Angela M.

Yelp
The food and service were great! Our servers were attentive and helpful. The food was delicious! We split the bone-in ribeye, creamed spinach, garlic mashed and Brussels sprouts. We had ahi tuna and clams casino for apps and a blondie/brownie for dessert. One downside was the table: we specifically asked for a more private/secluded table or booth to celebrate a special occasion dinner, but were given a regular two top right in the middle of the floor with couples on either side and in front. The problem was our table was very wobbly. The servers all tried to fix it but realized it was the top of the table that was broken so anytime we leaned on it, it wobbled. Disappointed that this table existed inside the restaurant to begin with and was left there for the next people to endure. We moved to another table downstairs, where I had the partial booth seat but my husband's chair was about 6 inches away from the servers station and had to listen to them putting away silverware and plates throughout the entire dinner. This took away from the experience for sure. Other than that, good steakhouse.

Yelp
Service and food were amazing. We started off with the bread and butter. There were some type of fruit/nut baked into it. For an appetizer we went with the heavy cut bacon in maple syrup 10/10. I enjoyed the 34oz Gotham rib steak and my husband had the 9oz filet mignon. The steak was cooked perfectly at our requested medium temperature 10/10. We opted for the au poivre sauce however we could have went without it. We should have requested it be on the side 6/10. As a side we shared the salt and pepper Brussels sprouts. They were nice and crispy. For added flavor we dipped our Brussels sprouts in the maple syrup it was amazing 10/10.
google avatar

Bob S.

Yelp
One of the best steakhouses I have ever visited. There were a lot of that ordered everything from steaks to salads. I have a hard time voting for what was best because it was all so good! The crab appetizer was perfect, the arugala salad with goat cheese was beyond, the cake portions were insane, and the steak... Oh the steak! Wow! The place is a beautiful, cozy, very high end steak house. Yet, it wasn't pretentious. We were welcomed and made to feel very comfortable by our friendly and good sense of humor servers. Their positive mood certainly helped the atmosphere. This is certainly the best place in Borgata, and arguably in all of Atlantic City.

Yelp
Our reservation was for 7:00pm, arrived at 6:45pm and sat right away. Waiter and waitress were attentive, noticed we set brought us menus, bread, butter and water. The food was delicious. A large scallop with crabmeat on top was delicious, so many different flavors in every bite. My husband had the French onion soup it was awesome. We split the old homestead rib steak and it was delicious, perfect size for two of us, we left with extra pieces. It was my husbands birthday (wrote it in the reservation notes) they came out with a cute raspberry cake tart, it was also delicious! We had a great inexpensive dinner, and the music, staff and drinks were perfect. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend came here while we were staying at the MGM tower hotel because of its convenience and we wanted steak. We were sat upstairs, the place has a nice steak house ambiance. To start we were brought out 2 rolls each, the onion one was cold and a raisin one that was warm. The raisin roll was good and the onion one would have been much better if it was warm. We were also given to very cold balls of butter. We did come right when they open so I imagine the butter didn't have enough time to sit out yet to soften. For apps my boyfriend got the french onion soup, which he said was good but came with one giant piece of bread and he said he would have preferred if the bread was broken up into smaller pieces so it would have been easier to eat. I got the caesar salad which was very good and a very large portion definitely could have been shared among two people or more. For dinner we both got the 9oz Filet mignon and mashed potatoes. The Filet mignon came with a demi glaze, that me and my boyfriend both agreed was too sweet, as well as a "hash brown" which the steak was placed on top of. The hash brown unfortunately was not very crispy especially after soaking in the sauce so we did not enjoy it much, but the mashed potatoes were perfectly fluffy and creamy. As for the steak we both ordered medium rare. Mine was cooked perfectly, my boyfriend's was more on the rare side but he doesn't mind it being more rare so he still enjoyed it. Unfortunately we didn't have any room left for dessert but definitely wanted to try the chocolate cake, it looked incredible. We had two waiters I believe one of them was being trained but they were both wonderful. I would say if this place made some adjustments it would be a top notch steak house. However it was good for the convenience and what we were looking for.

Patricia D.

Yelp
Dining here was a delight. We were in town to celebrate a retirement and Old Homestead delivered a memorable meal. Clean, inviting and treated like VIP's - we were comfortably seated. Tables here are not "on top" of each other allowing for privacy. Specials were explained in detail and our server was accommodating and patient as we reviewed the special Cocktail and Wine list. It was an enjoyable meal of side salads, Filet Mignon, Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus, and Onion Rings. Side Salads, Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus, and Onion Rings were generous portions that 5 people had plenty to eat. Everything was cooked perfectly as ordered and then served at the correct temperature.

Yelp
I came here for a birthday re-do after eating at Docks, which was a disappointment( see my previous review) and I have to tell you this place has the goods, not only in excellent food but in really great service as well. Look at the photos, the fillet was spot on, grilled to perfection, rare with a great char. The lobster was steamed to perfection, so soft and and delicious. The staff sliced the steak table side and shelled the lobster, Michael our waiter was impeccable, very attentive and quite a plesent gentleman, as well as Jeffrey who was also amazing, even their buss man Andrew helped us whenever we needed anything. Thank you guys for making my birthday re-do an experience to remember they even bought me dessert. I will be eating here for now on, I prefer the highly skilled and trained chefs and waiters over any other Atlantic city places. I highly recommend it, it's not a tourist trap like others, just good food and service and pricing is better or just as competitive but it delivers the goods, I promise. Thanks again Old holmstead for an amazing dinner and a very happy birthday meal.

Yelp
Great food, atmosphere and hospitality . Everything is amazing . Will def be back. Highly recommend the lobster mac and cheese and brussel sprouts

Yelp
I'm always a fan of this steakhouse but this time I went with the special that was a veal chop. I had to send it back two times it was so salty that I was not able to enjoy it. Even after the second time I didn't enjoy it. I was never offered the opportunity to change it for something else or have it taken off the bill. Not sure if I will be able to go back there. I'm a gold card member at the Borgata and I visit the casino often. I'm not a stranger to eating at there restaurants. But I will have to second guess if I will go back.

Yelp
The service is great here, the food is also very well. I love the shrimp cocktail. It's a huge piece of shrimp for a good price.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants. Great atmosphere and high quality service and food. The chilean Seabass is so delicious. If you like a light white fish I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
What a delicious meal at an old school feel steakhouse in AC. Thumbs up for service. Ordered family style. Start with the drinks, the tequila old fashioned was one of the best drinks I've had. Bread was fresh and warm. Apps - tuna tartar, thick cut bacon, chopped salad, all fresh, bright, everything you'd expect. The star being the colossal crab salad which could be a dinner for some and I'm no light eater! For the dinner portion we got Brussels sprouts, solid, lobster Mac and cheese -delicious packed full of chunks of lobster, and two steaks - porterhouse for 2 and the signature ribeye. While the porter house was pretty good, I wouldn't recommend it based on the cook and price point. The ribeye however was one of the best steaks I've had at a steakhouse and certainly the best ribeye. Perfect crust and warm pink center, melt in your mouth! High recommend

Yelp
We started with fresh clams and the calamari. The clams were fresh and briny. The calamari were light and delicious. As our main we shared the veal chop special with broccoli rabe and cherry peppers. The veal chop was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. Our server Paul was great! We really enjoyed eating in the bar area and look forward to coming back.

Yelp
The food, service and ambiance was amazing! My husband and I stayed at the Borgata resort and we dined at the Old Homestead Steakhouse every night for dinner and drinks! The last two nights we decided to sit at the bar and met the BEST bar tender ever ! Diego was absolutely amazing! We ordered Lemon Drops (my husband ordered a Long Island Ice Tea one night) and they were amazing! It was awesome watching Diego work! He was able to hold multiple conversations while getting all the orders (food and drinks) correct and ensuring everyone felt comfortable and attended to! AWESOME JOB! We'll definitely be visiting every time we stay at the Borgata!

Yelp
We have been coming to the Old Homestead for years. We were a party of 6. Last night's experience was horrible. A chair had a hole in it. One member in our party sank into it. Our waiter could not be bothered-- we asked several times for a new chair. It was never brought. We told our waiter we were celebrating two 65th birthdays. They were not acknowledged. The three rib steaks that were ordered were inedible. Fine dining? No. This experience (despite the high price tag) was akin to Applebees. Never again.

Yelp
First off let's start off with the hostess. She was kind, warming, and pleasant. She sat us without delay. The waiter was extremely helpful and sincere with his choices and how he answered questions. Last but not least the food! Bread for the table was fresh and warm. Clams casino were full of taste and came out hot. The porter house was cooked to perfection and had a nice crusted. The lobster Mac n cheese was savory and had large chucks of lobster meat. Price was worth the meal and the service provided. 10/10

Yelp
The place has always been a favorite for it's signature steak but I was there today 12/30/23 and must say that their pace is too fast, they don't give you time to breathe, they're on top of you, asking if you're done when it's obvious that you are in the middle of the course that you're eating. The food is still the best around but slow it down!!! Will come back but if it still that fast paced I'll have to downgrade it to 3 stars!
