I was a little skeptical in dining here because of all the negative reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. The service was fast and our server, Anton, was courteous and attentive. I visited at 6pm on a Friday evening and was seated right away. The food was delicious. I plan on returning again.

It was a bit busy on a Friday evening but was seated within five minutes. The menu was small and they had a good beer and wine list. But it is expensive and the for the price I expect the food to be better and the taste was ok not great. The service was good and they were very attentive. I would not go again though.

So, I started off with Franklin’s Hefeweizen (a brewery right down the road) and all I can say is it was the best Hefe I have EVER had in my life. This one had a bit of a sweeter taste than most Hefe’s have, and although I don’t care for sweet beers, this one really knocked my socks off ($6.50 for a pint). So much that I had to visit Franklin’s brewery a couple of nights late. So back to the Old Maryland Grill (OMG). I also tried Franklin’s Bombshell Blonde and it was just “OK.” I ordered the crab cakes – it consisted of two smallish crab cakes for $34. They were perfectly cooked, but they were billed as being lump crab. Instead, it was shredded, so I wasn’t sure how much filler versus crab was in them. Even better than the crab cakes was the succotash. It consisted of lima beans, tomatoes, onions, smoked mushrooms and sweet corn. It’s a side dish for $8 and was actually large enough for two. It was cooked perfectly and had an awesome smoky taste to it. Succotash may not sound appetizing to some, but I can guarantee you that this dish was like paradise. If you make a trip out here, order it, and order it well! They have 48 wines served by the glass and four pages of wines by the bottle – I didn’t bother to count those.

Been here twice, once for happy hour once for dinner. The happy hour oysters prices were good and the house wine was high quality for the price. Would also recommend it for dinner, food was good and it was a romantic place to have a date night without kids.

We popped in for the first time today at 5. Very quiet, but people started filtering in. Nice, clean, easy conversational quiet dining ambiance. The service was fantastic, our server Isaac was exceptionally professional, attentive, polite, and still very very pleasant. So, why 5 stars? Because the combination of a superb meal - I have allergies and they accomodated me and went the extra mile to verify what I would be safe to have on the menu. My meal was cooked perfectly, was delicious, and the portions were perfect size. I will be a repeat customer.

Looks like a nice place, but not a great experience. Service was polite. I asked for one side not to be served with the plate but when it arrived, it was there. Then, when I cut into the steak is was closer to medium well then medium rare. They did go ahead and served me a new one after I pointed it out. After dinner, both myself and my SO had GI & gas issues (we eat very different, both low carb, meals). Wasn't impressed with the flavor of anything served.

Nice restaurant and staff. Pretty good happy hour specials. Had an hour to kill late afternoon and ordered a few apps. Surprisingly good wings. Good oysters. Decent calamari but the sauce left a bit to be desired.

Unfortunately there is no option for less than a 1raring. I made reservations for breakfast at 10:45 for my family of 5. We arrived and were seated only to be told we had to order lunch. Who wants lunch at 10:45?? We also have allergy concerns and breakfast is easier to Anaheim. I spoke to the manager and he confirmed that on busy weekends they stop making breakfast at 10:30. He couldn’t care less When I explained we would have to leave. It was not posted when I made a reservation and we were disappointed to say the least. We walked out. Rude and unreasonable.
