Had an absolutely wonderful birthday celebration this week at The Mill. We had a party of 9. Everything was delicious. I had the wedge salad, mushroom soup, and the grilled pork chop special with red cabbage and potatoes. Several in our party got the steak frites chicken parm, chicken with mashed potatoes. Everything was incredible. The desserts were amazing too! My fav creme brulee but the other desserts were very special. 10/10. Highly recommend.

My duck was as almost as dry as a jerky, the fish was tasteless. The service was a bit slow. The cocktail had a nice presentation but tasted underwhelming. Wouldn’t recommend for this price tag

Such a great evening at The Mill last night. We walked in and were greeted by Terry, the owner, and he’s just awesome. Started with a drink at the bar. Yaomi was bartending and she was great. The drinks were fantastic! I had a New Fashioned and my wife had the hot honey which was also amazing. So good we got a second round of each, lol. if you’re into photography, keep an eye out for the gorgeous black and white prints on the walls in the bar area: they’re all from Studio 54 in the 70s, and they’re amazing. It’s a rare thing to see prints like that. You’re in for a treat. The dining room is gorgeous. I started with the onion soup gratinée (basically French onion soup) and it was probably the best I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. I had the cioppino after that and it was great, but the thing that’s still living in my head the next day is the pistachio mascarpone cheesecake for dessert. We heard a table near us talking about how amazing it was and we gave it a try. So glad we did. The Mill is a great find. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful cozy atmosphere in the dining room. The host (owner?) was very friendly and made us feel right at home. One of our kids broke a glass and he made jokes while cleaning it up. It's clear that this place is a passion project. The food was delicious. Overall it's a pretty fancy place. We paid just under $200 plus tip for a family of five.

We went here tonight for our Anniversary. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing! We had a bottle of French wine, which was superb. I ordered the pork chop and my husband ordered the swordfish. Both dishes were excellent! For dessert we got the chocolate bread pudding and the pistachio cheesecake - both excellent! The owner was gracious and showed us around the restaurant. This was a perfect dining experience to celebrate!

We’ve been patrons of the old mill, aka, the mill, for over 3 decades. The owner used to be ingratiating to SOME regulars and was generally polite, if reserved, to us. On our last visit he COMPLETELY lost his temper having, perhaps, over heard our table’s private conversation which pertained to his kitchen staff’s refusal to add some onions to our salad, an ingredient we had often requested and received without incident. The owner began shouting, ordered us from the premises and even threatened to call the police, Shocking us. It was a completely hyperbolic response for one thing. For another it was an invasion of our right to free speech, misquoting what we said to one another since our voices were low. Lastly he had had our patronage, and that of our family, for decades. We were staunch in supporting this restaurant’s efforts during the worst of the pandemic. We were regular guests, known well by the former friendly staff and generous with gratuities. It’s taken us some time to respond to that night’s exposure to this unprovoked verbal assault. But finally it made sense to worn other potential diners that although this place can seem pleasant if you don’t mind up dealing with crowding, having no real handicapped access and challenging. Be forewarned that our visit ended with being bellowed at in a public forum and threatened with police action out of nowhere. In this day, it is something to consider when contemplating a simple evening out.

I recently visited The Mill in South Egremont, and it was a truly wonderful dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, setting such a warm and welcoming tone for the evening. The ambience is fantastic—it feels sophisticated yet comfortable, with a club-like elegance that makes you want to settle in and enjoy. A huge highlight was getting to meet the chef/owner, Terry Moore. Terry is genuinely nice, and it's amazing to hear he's been serving the community for over 46 years! That kind of dedication and history shines through in the quality of the restaurant. And of course, the food was absolutely amazing! We ordered the burger and the Caesar salad with shrimp, and both were prepared perfectly. The burger was juicy and delicious, and the Caesar salad was fresh, flavorful, and the shrimp were cooked flawlessly. The Mill is a must-visit spot in the Berkshires for anyone who appreciates exceptional food and incredible hospitality. Highly recommend!

We always enjoy going to The Mill. We've been long time patrons for years. Terry and his staff are phenomenal. It's nice to have the lounge area to sit and enjoy cocktails and conversation with friends while waiting for a table. The overall genuine vibe has always been robust and consistent. Same goes for the food, cocktails and dessert.

A full parking lot is a good sign for a restaurant! Tuesday evening with overflow parking. Our party of 5 had a reservation, table set in a cozy room buzzing with charm. Terry, the host, welcomed us warmly and shook our hands upon leaving 2 hours later. Service was slow, due to the size of the crowd. Mill salad looks odd yet tastes great, soup was a great success, goat cheese appetizer less so --heavy on bread with a dollop of cheese. Calf's liver was delicious, the fish as well although the sauce had cooled off. Chicken and veg curry were also well received. Large portions left no room for dessert, alas!

Amazing ambiance with warm lighting and a bubbling river as the backdrop. Exceptionally friendly staff who greet you the second you step foot in the door and check in on you periodically. The duck leg was flavorful and well balanced with the crispy skin and tender inside. The pork chop was very tender, but perhaps lacking some flavor. Overall a wonderful dinner experience and the attentive staff made it memorable.

Great food, and hands on care from happy employees , sadly i can only visit when in the area, but i try and be a ambassador for it

The revamp of this old classic spot went well. Just as good as it ever was! The hours are the only thing that's been reduced.

It's not the same -- The Old Mill was a really a very special place. We celebrated many birthdays and different occasions there over a span of decades that is almost shocking to consider. We'd also stop in to their bar for burgers or soup every so often. With the recent re-opening, reorganization of the dining room. and the menu change, we were so hoping for a strong return for The Mill. A meal there in the spring was just disappointing. But -- we loved the place so much in the past, we decided maybe it had just been an off night. So we recently returned. Sadly, I'm not certain we'll head back again for more than cocktails...

There was only a single area of opportunity for this restaurant, and I mention it below. We've driven by this restaurant for years and years, and have always wanted to eat here. WOW, I'm glad we did. First of all, you are greeted by a wonderful man, who is teeming with charm and warmth--literally the best host you can imagine. I'm not sure if I heard a British accent, but wow, what an entrance and what a pleasant and charming man. We were seated right away at about 5:15, and within minutes the place filled up--every seat gone. We had driven from Litchfield, and it was raining and super foggy out there, and the drive felt like it lasted forever, but we felt so welcomed when we arrived. The fireplace was roaring and it warmed our bones, while the coziness immediately overtook us. The woman who seemed in charge of the restaurant, possibly the owner, was equally accommodating and made sure everyone was 100% comfortable, and that their tables were perfectly set. I watched her working and just knew this restaurant had it together like clockwork. They work so hard to make sure you feel like you're getting the best experience possible, and I appreciate that so much. Our server was equally wonderful and accommodating, and timed everything perfectly for us so we could enjoy my husband's birthday dinner. Everyone eating there seemed like locals, or from the Massachusetts area and were also excited to be sitting and eating there. I stared with a drink called "Jacques the Elder," made with Makers Mark, Lemon, Ginger beer, elderflower, and topped with a row of candied ginger for $14. Just mouth-watering. The server brought us some delicious Berkshire Bread Col sourdough and and breadsticks, accompanied by a feta and tomato purée, which was outstanding. For appetizers we had a prosciutto, burrata, and pear to start. When paired with the the sourdough bread, it was just delicious. All just well-prepared and fresh. For my husband's entree, he had a delicious pan-seared trout on a bed of mini pearlescent gnocchi that was sumptuous. This was not a regular menu item. I had a shrimp and spaghetti dish that was equally delicious with just the right amount of heat, but, there just wasn't enough Spaghetti in the dish to account for the $34 price tag. You can see the dish was very shallow, in the photos below. I asked for more bread and then dipping that in the delicious buttery Sauce. This didn't detract at all, but just another two forkfuls of pasta would have given me that important impression of value and abundance. Then the young man bused the table and used a scraper to make sure every crumb was gone, in preparation for dessert--pure service. We finished the dinner with cappuccinos, and a flourless chocolate cake and pistachio ice cream. The flourless cake just stuck to the roofs of our mouths, and the ice cream helped provide that creamy cold nutty contrast. What brilliant pairing. The entire evening was perfection. The kind of experience you start to miss before it's actually over. We drove home with jaws dropped, and commented on what a magical, cozy, and welcoming experience that was. Particularly, how it will be difficult to recreate again--but darn it, we will try. I highly recommend Old Mill, as a true staple of Southern Mass, as an enchanting dining experience, and truly delicious culinary triumph.

We decided to spend a couple days in western Mass, and while looking for places to have dinner, The Mill popped up. When we arrived, we decided to sit at the bar. As a note, the bar is quite small with only 4 forward facing seats (and two additional seats that face a wall), but the atmosphere is cozy and charming. Our server, Wyome, was fantastic! She was busy making all the drinks for the restaurant AND serving the bar patrons, but she was still friendly and conversational. I had the pork chop, and my partner had a cod dish that included lobster and corn. Both were great! We split the coconut cake for dessert, and it was delicious! I highly recommend going to The Mill if you are in the area. We will definitely be returning!

The bed and breakfast we were staying at highly recommended this place for dinner - they don't take reservations and are only open Tuesday - Saturday. They open at 5:00 pm and you really want to get there as close to the hour as possible to get a table. We arrived at 5:15 and sat in the bar area, our server Hannah was amazing to say the least! She was super attentive - our water was never empty and we got new silverware a few times!!! And to top of off, we were able to meet and chat with the owner, Teri, and he is quite the charmer! He gave us recommendations, chatted with us about some of the signs around the bar area, he was super welcoming and kind! He even took pictures with us!!! Excellent service, terrific food, and a relaxing, beautiful interior. A hidden gem. Well worth the visit.

Terry and his staff are wonderful. Old world service with a delightful "days gone by" vibe. The bar area is perfect for oysters and a cocktail by the roaring wood fire. Nostalgic music adds the perfect touch. Don't miss this one.

Old mill for the win!. 5 stars all day long. Decadent Berkshires dining in an old mill. What more could you want? The food is high end,, made right. Even the burger and fries , $21 was amazing! Awesome desserts too. Make a reservation if you can. It gets packed fast even in a tuesday night . If you dont want to waste time searching yelp for a great place in the berkshires, just go here . Perfect. Get a window seat if possible, there is a river running behind the place that is lit up at night.

Wow, dinner here was truly an awesome experience and worth every penny! Our Pork shank was amazing and the hot potato salad was a wonderful spin on German Potato Salad The ambiance was great and the smell was delicious!

This spot has been a favorite since the 1980s. The food, ambiance, and service are consistently top notch.

Have been twice now and both times the service and the food was amazing. Servers make you feel welcome and are always on point between refilling drinks, remarking, clearing quickly etc The mussels, salmon and chicken parm are so good!

Must come back here! A cozy classy comfortable gem of place in the Berkshires. No reservations allowed. Owners were so kind and even gave us complimentary dessert since we were there for my birthday and our anniversary. We started with warm bread, sticks, red pepper cheese spread and olives. Salads came free with entree. Get the blue cheese crumbles! Then I had duck confit-cooked perfectly but maybe a slight too much of the cherry dressing. My favorite in MA ever. My husband had a 14oz strip steak with really delicious truffle butter. Each under $40! Ended with a unique and delectable chocolate grand marnier mousse cake-Must get. Service was attentive and polite. Will definitely come back.

The man who runs the hotel we stayed at told us that this is a five star restaurant. If I could give it four and a half stars I would. In fairness, I am miserly with my five star reviews. A place has to really knock my socks off. They have to get everything right. My sweetie has worked in fine dinning for many years so we are discerning. She probably would have liked the food but I know she would have been mildly critical of a few details. Fortunately, my daughter and I enjoyed a very good meal. Details like zero drinks listed on the menu that are not cocktails, wine, or beer. Sorry but, not everyone drinks. We had to ask and our server failed to mention that they have my absolute favorite, San Pellegrino in a glass bottle. Not a big deal but, for five stars you gotta tick all the boxes. The mussels were delicious. Although, I favor the ones I make and a few very good places back home. In fairness, I live near the ocean in an area known for world class cuisine. The Ahi Tuna was cooked to perfection. It was resting on a bed of Japanese noodles soaked in the most delicious miso dressing I have ever had. The flavors were perfectly balanced and so subtle that I declined my daughters offer to taste her vegetable curry. She was very happy with it. I was happy to see her remain a member of the clean plate club. She does not always. Unlike my grandfather, I make no mention of it when she fails to finish all the food on her plate other then to ask if she is full. When she eats every bite I know she likes her food. I nearly ordered the prime rib. When they brought out two massive cuts for the couple sitting at the next table I knew I had made the right decision. Were I not hoping to fit in to a suit I may wear to my cousins wedding I most certainly would have indulged. It was cooked to my liking, medium rare, and looked to be as good as any I have had. We skipped dessert, as tempted as were, for obvious reasons. All in all this place is worthy of praise and I would return. Being such a discerning customer I always have patience for those who are making a concerted effort. I would say that this is likely the best restaurant in town.

Went for dinner at Old Mill off of Route 23 near Egremont, MA. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. Decoration and settings were nicely appointed and decorated. We ordered a cocktail of Blackberry syrup and Prosecco. I had the days special soup of puréed wild mushroom and the entree of Prime Rib ( came with Yorkshire Pudding and green beans and horseradish). It was all delicious. The Yorkshire pudding was eggy and tender and mopped up all the meat juices. Dessert was the flourless chocolate cake with cream and strawberries. It was a perfect cap to the evening's meal. I've drove by this place many times but this was the first time I made a point to go and eat there. Makes me wonder why I haven't done this sooner. We spoke with the owners and was told this restaurant has been here for 45 years. Amazing when you do it right, people just keep coming. So glad I came in and will make sure I come back. Wonderful experience.

We've only been here twice during our visit to the Berkshires but now we're going to make it a regular thing to close out our vacation here... The food is the best in the Berkshires... I would highly recommend this place... in addition, service is A1... Everybody's doing everything right here! If yours party under 6, remember to go early, since they do not take reservations.

This isn't as much a review as much as passing along what may be helpful: Just a friendly heads up as of June 2021 this restaurant does not accept reservations ahead of time unless it's for a party of five or more. As I'm informed, the restaurant usually doesn't take reservations. Just hoping this information can be useful, as it was to me, if you're planning to come from far away to visit the area. In my case, I like the stability of reservations especially on a weekend night.

Love the bar, the atmosphere and staff. Have eaten there 6 times in the last year. The food can go from really good, to really bad . My biggest complaint has to be the portions served vs the prices. One visit: Ordered prime rib at approximately 49.00, A thin measley cut of beef. Very disappointing . Taste was fine but such a chintzy cut. No where worth the price. Most places would give u a good piece of meet for the price. Not here. Another visit: Ordered salmon. Was not asked what temp I want it cooked. It came to me very well done and inedible. Sent it back with no trouble at all, but, it still came back medium, (med rare tends to be the norm). Again the filet serving size was very small and much smaller than most restaurant portions. (the price was market though) . Starting this meal I ordered pea soup. The portion was literally 4 bites. So chintzy I could not believe it. To make matters worse it was Luke warm. After dinner I Ordered a glass of 10 year port for approximately 10.00. The pour was so measly I thought I was being punked ! Love the environment, the owner, wait staff, bartender, so Hate to give up, but, they have to revisit their portions across the board.

Very good! The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and warm. The atmosphere is romantic and you even have privacy at your table. Timing between courses even seemed perfect. Not pictured is the chocolate mousse which was absolutely amazing. A perfect night out. 10/10

Excellent meal. Top notch service. Friendly and considerate owner, who escorted us to our table. Got apps we had Borscht, French onion soup, mussels. For dinner grouper, butter squash ravioli, shrimp and spaghetti. Everything delicious. But more amazing we're the desserts. Orange cake to die for.

My wife and I had dinner here tonight after being Summer residents of the Berkshires for 10 years - we are so disappointed we didn't come here sooner. As incredible as the food (prime rib and salmon) was, Terry and Rina made us feel like we were having dinner in their homes. This is a special place with special people and incredible food. The Old Mill is a favorite of ours. We recently returned and had 2 absolutely amazing dishes from the specials of a day. Mine was "rack of pork" with a sweet potato puree and berry sauce. I have never heard, nor tasted, pork like like that before. It was a rib with a roughly a 6" in diameter piece of pork. No fat, very tender. The 2 accompaniments complimented the pork wonderfully. My father had lamb moussaka, and it was the best I have ever had. The dining room is warm and cozy(and the inviting, tiny bar is even cozier). The owner/chef/maitre d' and general manager are friendly, and we found that trait in every employee that we interacted with. They don't take reservations for less than 5, but it is well worth the wait!

I am a teacher that moved to the Berkshires two years ago. Me and my two friends became loyal customers at the Old Mill, great food and great service. This past Labor Day weekend we made reservations for five, two of our friends canceled, so out of courtesy we called to tell them that we are short two people, and we were told to come in anyways, not a problem. we arrived at 8 at we were told that we lost our reservation and that we have to wait, and when I asked why we were told to come in the old man said you were never told that (it was a women who answered the phone not him, and basically he accused me of lying). We actually decided to wait despite that fact that he was very rude, but after 30 minutes we decided to leave. Sad to say I will never come back. I am sure they don't care.

What a great spot. My folks have been coming here since the late 70s. This past September we had such a good dinner there. The owner is a nice guy and held my mother's drink when he showed us to our table...that kind of friendly service. Most things we ate were really delicious. The bread basket was so good (comes with an excellent dip). The french onion soup and salad were perfect. I had the steak poivre which I will definitely get again next time I go. My wife had the shrimp with spaghetti which was good, but there was such a small amount of pasta that it kinda diminished the dish for her....tons of shrimp and tasty sauce, but not enough pasta to really enjoy it. My folks ordered the trout and chicken which they both liked. I'm not a big dessert person, but you need to order the coffee ice cream sundae. It was spectacular. The hot fudge was truly memorable. Don't share it. This is not an inexpensive restaurant, but at the end of the meal I felt that we really received good value. Excellent experience. Look forward to returning.

Highly recommend this restaurant as the service & staff were friendly, food was delicious and the ambiance was cozy. Btw- they have amazing espresso !

This place always has a full parking lot so I thought I'd try it. It lives up to the expectation. The complimentary bread and tomato spread is worth the trip alone. I also had oysters that were some of the best I've had. Lastly, I had the panko crusted rainbow trout. It was absolutely delicious. I did find one pin bone but all in all, everything was good.

The food was great and the service was amazing. The service couldn't be better! It starts in the parking lot and gets better with each person you meet. Everyone really seems to care and knows the menu. We love asking for recommendations and hearing what people think of the food. It's nice how the whole staff seems to really care about your expierence. Really truly a joy and food is impeccable!

Great atmosphere, rustic but chic. Very cozy for winter nights-- log fire burning in the dining room. Food is consistent and consistently good. It is not an experimental menu-- it is things you like, done well.

This place is one of the best restaurants I've tried in the Berkshires. Most others are mediocre at best. If you like great prime rib and great wine, this is your place. The prime rib is exceptional - so tender, not a ton of fat and very flavorful. Among the best I've had (...and I've had many!). If you enjoy a full bodied Ca. Cab, try the Daou from Paso Robles. This cab for the $55 price point is very special and rivals Ca. cabs costing much more. BTW, the homemade sourdough baguette bread here is to die for. Finally, for dessert try the Grand Marnier chocolate mouse cake or flourless almond cake - both are excellent. Don't go here on a diet as you will quickly lose your will power and thoroughly enjoy a big delicious meal!

Had dinner at one of my favorite places in the Berkshires. Service was okay. Food was so disappointing. I should have sent the chicken parmigiana back. The cutlet was cooked at least twice. Even my guests remarked how dry and burned it looked. With a large holiday party in back room, perhaps regular guests were taken for granted and food was mediocre at best.

Good food, nasty owner. The restaurant opens at 5:00 and reservations are not accepted for parties of 4. So I got there early to snag a table ( 4:50) and was seated. When my party of three more diners hadn't arrived yet, at 5:03, Terry, the owner, stormed over to me with arms outspread and scowled, "Where are they"? I smiled, thinking that he was joking, and replied, "They will be here; they are never late." He responded, "Well, we don't reserve tables." He then grimaced and marched away as if in a tantrum. Clearly I was way off thinking he had been joking. My party came at 5:12 and his hostility continued until 7:30 when he came over to our table and started cleaning it off and said (again with a scowl), "This table is reserved for 7:30!" Funny, a four-top is reserved??? Parties of 4 cannot reserve tables. Had he nicely told us in advance that we could only be seated for 2 hours, we would have easily complied. But since there was no line of patrons visible who were waiting for a table, we had no clue that he needed that table. Nothing warrants a host or owner to treat patrons so shabbily--especially since we all have been to this restaurant numerous times and were well meaning and polite. His response was so disproportionate to the situation that one can only conclude that he is not mentally stable. Serious anger issues.

As good as it gets in the Berkshires. You can feel the history when you're sitting in here. Classy vibe, romantic, intimate. I can't believe it took me 13 years of living in the Berkshires to finally get here.

We had a great meal here last night. Service was excellent. Our server went above and beyond to be helpful. We had the roast chicken, chopped salad, trout, oysters and some great desserts. The oysters were especially outstanding. Will definitely return.

The Old Mill delighted and surprised us. What a warm greeting by the owner, Terry, while we waited for a table! What a creative mocktail adorned with fresh rosemary Corey created for us in their historic bar area! The team are all pros and have stuck together for many years. The joy in their jobs comes through. Oh, and the food! I had a Thai dish and my husband had the ahi tuna. We licked our dinner AND our dessert plates clean! We can't wait to go back.

We love this place. Always delicious food and drinks. The owner always friendly and so is the waitstaff. Also one of our favorite cozy bars for winter.

Thank you, Old Mill. We ordered takeout for five including all aspects of a meal from appetizers to desserts. Flawless. The food exceeded already elevated expectations all around. Particular respect for the chop salad, almond cake, and prime rib. Also, the service was outstanding. I felt so welcome by the staff while picking up my food even though I was not at all dressed suitably for dining out. Our only wish would have been to enjoy our meal at the restaurant, but that is merely a fault of the pandemic. Regardless, this is one of the very few restaurants that was able to send us home with food that did not disappoint when served on our own plates.

When my husband Curt was transferred to MA by GE, it was winter and he was cold and lonely. This restaurant is his favorite memory of that time-- they said they would take care of them and they did. The food was wonderful and the service kind. He's loved this place for a quarter century Thank you

Having visited the Old Mill 3 times over the past few years, I think it's time for a review. The bottom line is that, while little about the restaurant has changed since my first first, that's just fine by me because what they do they do well. Note: They only accept reservations for parties of 6 or more. AMBIANCE: Traditional country decor with dark wood floors and tables, and exposed wood ceiling beams. A comfortable and gracious environment. SERVICE: Warm and attentive. Our server gave us some great recommendations and was present without being too present. FOOD: Bread Service - Fresh country bread and crispy breadsticks, served with a (red pepper?) cheese spread and bowl of olives (to me, yuck, but I understand some people like olives). French Onion Soup - A great example that was just salty enough and chock full of delicious onions, cheese and bread. Country Pate/Charcuterie Plate - A large (sharable) plate with country pate, toast crisps, 2 kinds of salami, provolone, olives, cornichons, and onion relish. Rustic and yummy. Prime Rib - Cooked perfectly medium, and served with a horseradish sauce, green beans and a popover. The popover was a bit too well done, but was immediately replaced with a less cooked version immediately upon request. Lamb Chop - Served medium rare, they were served sliced potatoes (pommes Anna?), green beans, and fruit compote. Tender and delicious. Duck (special) - A crispy, well-sized portion, that was served in a dried cherry port sauce with green beans and a wild rice pilaf. Not dissimilar from a confit, the skin was sweet and crispy, hiding tender dark meat underneath. Highly recommended if offered. Bouillabaisse (special) - Super fresh fish in a beautifully fragrant sauce. You rarely see bouillabaisse on menus these days, and a well-made one is always a treat. Coffee Ice Cream Sundae - What could be bad about a Soco Coffee ice cream sundae? Nothing! Hot fudge and caramel sauces made this a perfect sundae. The walnuts were a nice touch and gave the sundae a really good texture. Nearly all of the desserts looked delicious on paper, but you would be remiss not to try this one at least once. Sticky Toffee Pudding (special) - Served warm with creme anglaise, it was a sweet concoction with a great texture. It could have used an ice cream or fruit sauce accompaniment, but was nonetheless delectable on its own. Coffee - From Barrington Brewery and served super hot (a good thing). Refills were not charged as extra. The Old Mill is a bastion of consistency. Service, ambiance and food are both dependable and great. We will return!

We started with a delicious fish soup, even though it was a little salty. The salads with blue cheese were fresh and simple, but yummy. Quinoa cake with sweet potatoes and green beans was delicious. Chicken with mozzarella, provolone and thin pasta was very good. The complimentary strawberries dipped in chocolate were quite nice. Best part of the meal was the chocolate crepe filled with pistachio ice cream. The old mill is warm and cozy with a fireplace that makes you feel you are in someone's living room. We have been here many times and always have a great time.

I have been attending this restaurant for over 25 years when I vacation in the Berkshires. Food and service has been consistently excellent the whole time.

Old Mill has always been one of our favorites. During the first few months of covid, we did take out. It worked out well. For the past month, we've decided to eat in the restaurant and it's worked out beautifully. There are less tables, room dividers between tables, and the chairs and tables are thoroughly sanitized before dining. The food has been wonderful! The pumpkin soup is like autumn in a bowl! Delicious! My husband is crazy about the tuna, I've tried a number of different things. The stand out special was the veal scaloppine. And the profiteroles with the chocolate sauce-divine! No place makes chocolate sauce like old mill does!

For four years this has been our go to spot when coming to visit our daughter at Berkshire. She doesn't want to eat anywhere else! Her favorite meal is duck pate and steamed mussels with sorbet for dessert. I like to try many dishes. The lamb is always flavorful and perfectly cooked. The decor inside is lovely, the staff and owners warm and helpful and it's never a problem waiting for a table in the cozy bar with a nice bartender making good drinks. We will need to make special trips to the Old Mill once our daughter graduates.

Had an amazing dinner last night at home from the Old Mill. It was fabulous. Thank you all for being there during this pandemic.

This place is fantastic!!! Coming here since I was a kid!! Food never disappoints!!! Love it!!
