After two visits, I have a positive impression of this spot. I had a giftcard the first time around so I thought I would try the Nebula, which was an $8 specialty coffee and, while I wouldn’t say I was entirely disappointed, it definitely wasn’t a drink for me. If you love latte’s, then get the nebula as a special treat, you’ll probably love it. But I was really hoping it was just an incredible pourover or high quality espresso, you know, coffee.
The second time around, my wife got a salted caramel iced latte and I got the medium drip. My wife noted the syrup was quite sweet and there are better homemade syrups across the city (follow me as I post more reviews with her input). The drip is exactly what a drip should be, tasty and consistent. To be noted, they sell beans from Coffee Science, Cherry, and Congregation.
The interior decoration is spot on but the quality of materials is meh, knocking the service down a notch.
Overall, this is a solid spot that offers friendly service and is set smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood, just where a coffee shop should be.
